✓ Why the need to keep signing in?I was one of the original OfficeSuite Pro users, who got sidelined by the developer when they moved to the subscription version of OfficeSuite. At first I could use the app without having to sign in, but now it seems to be mandatory that I am signed in all the time if I want to use my Pro account. Not only is this annoying, but it doesn't make me feel in anyway a valued or loyal past customer. I'm sorry that my original purchase no longer makes you money, but you're the company that changed the rules. I also have many problems with the app trying to read Word files that are heavy on tables as the whole document seems to fall apart, with overlapping text and tables, some not even on the correct page. Then there are other problems with some of the more simple requirements, like trying to stop word justification. If I want to lay something out without the text auto justifying, I can't seem to find out how to. Overall not a happy bunny as too many restrictions for the old Pro users..Version: 8.6.2
✓ Data loss migrating to the new app from Pro versionAfter downloading the new app and signing in, the old app somehow deleted all my work, and its missing from the new app. Gone forever! Absolutely terrible for software that isn’t free to go flippantly deleting user data! Hours of work has been lost, just by downloading a new app - something I wouldn’t imagine possible in iOS. Backup all your files to a location external to the app before moving to the new app!.Version: 6.6
✓ Keyboard keeps disappearing....I’ve just downloaded this & it seems good, however my first foray into creating a document has proved very annoying. If I tap to place a cursor where I need to edit or change something, the keyboard disappears! If I tap again to try & bring it back, the program then decides I wish to delete or remove something & selects the whole word next to where I’m trying to place the cursor. There seems to be no option to bring the keyboard back up when I need it, it only pops up when it ‘thinks’ I need it!.Version: 7.4

✓ Poor SupportMore than likely I would have subscribed to this. However;, I emailed the support during my trial period. ✓ Charged $32 (ZERO STARS)After the 7 day trail charges $32 dollars for 1 year were charged with out consent!!! ✓ A great app that just needs a little moreI use this app back and forth between it and Word. There are just a couple of things that would push this app closer to being better. First, we need a ruler, this would allow quick paragraph formatting, and let us know other important margin and size information. Second, especially since Word is beta testing this now, is trackpad/mouse and cursor control. On the iPad we now need a full office suite, not a mobile office suite. This app is so close to being able to deliver that. There are third, forth, and other things I would want you to add, but being able to booklet print is right up there. ✓ Beware spreadsheetsThis is a very dangerous application. Try cutting and pasting formulae and unlike excel, the formulae don’t update their cell positions. So your formulae now contain errors which you’ve got to re-work. Also try inserting a line and the same errors occur. It just means I’ve lost faith in the application because I don’t know where errors are lurking..Version: 9.3.1
✓ Not So Great 😒I thought this was such a great app when I first began using it. It included all the apps that I needed for my business. I have been using it heavily. I have quite a few documents saved. Now when i try to open the app it doesn’t open. I can’t access any of my files. I’m super angry. I thought the files were backed up but they weren’t and that’s my fault. I tried everything I could to get the app to open for me and it just will not load. So now I have to delete it and reinstall which is a bit frustrating. I don’t trust that it will not freeze up on me again. I also found that while typing documents it can be a little laggy. Maybe the freezing non opening app situation as well as the laggy typing can be fixed with an update. ✓ My Document Held HostageI downloaded this app to finish a paper while on the train home. The app allowed me to download the Word document and work on it in the app. Functionality at this point was fine. Probably a good app. HOWEVER, after saving the file and hoping to export it I was stopped by a forced subscription. I could not export the document that I had put two hours of work into without first paying. Also, an attempt to copy and paste the text from the document into an email failed for the same reason. Document editing(including copy function) was limited to subscribers. There is effectively no way to recover the work that I put in when editing was initially allowed. I will not pay for the subscription nor will I recommend this app. The invitation to work on the document followed by an inability to access that work seemed to be an intentionally created problem to force subscription..Version: 6.14

✓ So frustrating!I’m using this app on iPad Pro - on first glance it looks good. It has basic functionality and it’s fantastic for converting files. But once you start working on projects you miss the functionality that you would otherwise take for granted - like merging cells in a table in a word doc etc. The app keeps crashing and I’ve lost 2 hours of work. ✓ Pro version was promising...new system in trouble.Good program since paying for pro version and now is requiring a subscription now offering a lower monthly price. With the old pro version you had no limit on installs....no such thing when converting to new version. Even reinstalling I’m told too many install and it fails and ads return. I have been monitoring any updates and key areas have not been addressed....no excel keypad...imported pictures distorted in word...compatibility is suspect to name a few. This app made a nice attempt at a comeback from when I first bought it years ago....but seems to “self destroying” now. Microsoft apps are accurate and WORK....and free on iPad etc with screens smaller than 10”. I use this exclusively. Wps app is free and equivalent to Microsoft. Polaris office 2019 is a paid app but I paid for previous versions years ago also but it functions very well in the new updated version..Version: 6.8

✓ Pointless downloadI downloaded this app to see whether it had all the features I need. Unfortunately it is completely unusable unless I start up a subscription first... No editing features at all, so I cant even test drive before buying. What’s the point of that. ✓ Terrible customer careAfter my updated review, this app has sudden deleted half of my copy and no one at Mobi has gotten back to me with an explanation as to what happened and who within Mobi had made the unauthorized alteration. There is no working customer service contact phone number so it’s impossible to speak with anyone at Mobi. I LOST HALF OF MY COPY AND NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE!!! ✓ CriminalI don’t know how else to describe OfficeSuite than CRIMINAL! I simply wanted to see if the app would meet my needs so I downloaded the app 3 days ago. I decided to close the “subscription” as it was not what I was looking for. HA! So far I have not found where the unsubscribe routine is hidden. I know that they must have programmers on staff who could write one. However when I click on the link all I get is some tiny script that is formatted so that ti runs off the screen. Scrolling is blocked so you cannot read the full line of text. I tried using Cut and Paste but the only part I could recover were a couple links to Apple Forums. The suggestions referred to an “unsubscribe” button in Settings which does not exist in my version of iOS (12.5.4) I will continue to attempt to find the unsubscribe’s hiding place. Yeesh! I would only expect such underhanded failure of programming such a BUGGY process from 1) a very inexperienced programmer or 2) a scam program intent on taking advantage of unsuspecting people who trust the “free trial period” claim. ✓ No compatibility with iPad Apple keyboardUPDATE: Still frustrated. Developer response is not helpful. Of course I have ensured that the keyboard is connected properly. I have an Apple Pencil which is also wreaking havoc with this program. Once I disconnect the Pencil I have fewer problems. However setting that additional problem aside, the on screen keyboard continuously pops up even when I choose for it not to be used. This has only been a problem immediately after the iOS 14 update. ✓ CRASH PRONE due to ADSThis app is very frustrating and can cause serious errors, spreadsheet scrambles and loss of work from intrusive ad pop ups and constant “upgrade” requests at initial (previous work) loading. Contacting their so-called support team is even worse, since after sending them a very detailed exact description of how/why/when and what happens over and over, they still insist on “screen shots” and “more details”. It would be easier to just write the patch for their lack of error trapping and poor programming timing and input errors, then to fiddle around with “screen shots”... As far as the app itself, the plain-jane stacked menus are impossible to fully navigate without a bluetooth full-keyboard. Using your standard popup device keypad will soon make you crazy in spreadsheet and word processor modes. Finally, the “autoload last work” feature itself creates “lost-in-buffer” unusable file loading errors, which can corrupt your past work. You must constantly save large active files as you work, changing their file names, to ensure that WHEN (not if) you suffer a crash, your work isn’t corrupted/lost/unuseable. Note that the paid-for “rights” in the “pro” version does not cross over from former platforms (first gen ipads to air4 for example)..Version: 7.5

Then every couple weeks they sign us out of our online account forcing us to sign back in, telling us how it would be easier if we just signed up for a subscription because then it wouldn’t happen. All of a sudden out of nowhere my account has disappeared, says it’s not in the system, and then I should sign up for a subscription. This is a bait and switch from a company that charged people once for an app and then switch to a subscription model, eventually screwing those of us who paid. ✓ The worst technical support ever!I have a lifetime premium license. Every time there is an update my software reverts back to the free version or the pro version. These versions have far fewer features. I sent Support requests to the company. I receive tons of resistance to resolve my issue and it usually takes as much as 2 1/2 month to resolve my technical support issues such as this. I use this software constantly, and depend on the premium features. I have been using their software for 4+ years. I received the free lifetime premium license for my iPad When they initially made available for the iPad. The last time I reviewed the software they assured me that they would contact me to resolve the issue. I have today never heard from them and that has been over two months ago. If you have left A review of this software, and they have stated in their reply that they will resolve the issue by contacting you, DO NOT BELIEVE IT. I am really upset to find out an automatic update was done and I can no longer use this App unless I want to pay a monthly or yearly subscription. ✓ Good App getting left behind the timesI have been a long time user but OfficeSuite is falling way behind feature wise. How can a collaborative app not yet support SMB servers these days? The cloud services here are at least 3 years behind the times! No SFTP, no symbolic links. Very difficult sharing files. Within each document type editing is very good. Please work on file management! Short comings made worse by subscription pricing-not everyone needs pdf conversions.Version: 8.1

✓ A money-spinner for the writersI downloaded this to open an ODT file on my iPad while I'm away from home, but in order to access a real file – not just the stuff that comes with the app – I've got to spend £20 and upgrade to the premium version. Comment on the makers’ reply: Following your reply I finally managed to find my file in your app, but couldn’t read it because it’s an ODT file and I have to upgrade the app. This is the point I was making. I’m learning that ‘in-app purchases’ means it’s a free place holder and won’t do anything worthwhile unless I pay for the upgrade – it would more honest just to charge up front. ✓ Ummmm... what?It's kinda a scam. I got really excited seeing that it was free, and I created a presentation. Or at least, I tried to. You can't even type anything without paying, so it being "free" is just fake news for more downloads. Another thing is that the app is rated 4+. You might call me daft but it took me a fair while to understand that the app is pay only. ✓ Waste of timeWould give it 0 stars if I could. Download this app as a googled an app for a word document for my phone for free, this app came up so I downloaded it. It wouldn’t even let me start typing on a new blank document. It just kept coming up as a ‘free trail & pay monthly subscription message’. It’s rubbish and a waste of time. If you’re looking for a FREE word document app- don’t bother with this one because you will end up deleting it like I have!!.Version: 10.9.3
