Norwegian wheelIt is truly awesome. Wait till you hit your first steep hill. You will say “oh my god!”.Version: 2.11.5

Best bike bling everHave had my wheel for a year now. Apart from some early trouble with the rim tape it has been fantastic. Trips to the grocery store now a breeze..Version: 2.11.4

Can’t load anymore on Iphone 6Just updated, now I open the app, see the logo, then crash and close.. :( IOS 11.1.2 Please fix asap..Version: 2.7.0

Great wheel, bad appI have the same feedback the majority of reviewers have. App needs to be restarted almost every ride. Trip data is often wrong. Duplicate trips are recorded. Sometimes no trip data shows up. I almost wish the app had nothing but a ride mode selection. That said...the braking assist is great. The wheel has totally changed my commute. I ride to work almost every day now. Even with this marginal app, the wheel is fantastic..Version: 2.8.1

The wheelBest investment I ever made.Version: 2.11.5

The red wheelOutstanding electric bicycle assist device. I have ridden 600 miles this past year, zero problems. Love it on my Trek Navigator bike. Also have a second red wheel on my Marin mountain bike in AZ and love that one too. Consistently get at least 25 miles in hilly country using eco, standard and turbo and up to 40 miles on the flat in mostly eco mode on a charge..Version: 2.11.5

Simple and easyThe user interface is not complicated. There aren't a lot of different features and that is fine with me. I can switch between the different power settings while riding without having to concentrate on my phone screen. I like the ride analysis after I finish to see how much was me pedaling and how much the Copenhagen Wheel was assisting. The hills are mostly the Wheel. The only minor glitch I've found is that sometimes the trips icon overlays the connect button. This goes away if you restart the app and doesn't happen while riding so no star loss. I got the Copenhagen Wheel so I can commute to work. It took about three years to arrive and I'm not as close to my work as I was when I ordered it, but the quick charging time allows me drain it to 2% in the morning and ride home with 100% after work..Version: 2.3.0

Copenhagen WheelI love this Wheel because it allows me to ride my bicycle, which would be nearly impossible due to all the hills around my neighborhood. I ride it from Newtonville to the bike/pedestrian/jogging path along the Charles River which goes all the way to Boston. The price is very reasonable when compared to electric bikes on the market. It is absolutely one of the best purchases I have ever made..Version: 2.11.6

Fountain of youthCopenhagen wheel helps this septuagenarian feel 15 years old!.Version: 2.10.0

Super product, bad app! This is an excellent product, expensive, but worth it. It is always a pleasure to see good stuff coming out of MIT. The best feature is that it only "assists" in paddling and never takes over. However, they dropped the ball on the app! It looks like MIT just lost its interest in developing equally impressive app. Crashes may times, some times it can't find the wheel, doesnt correctly calculates distance and time (like 10 miles in 3 min). This morning the app would simply not start, so deleted the app and reinstalled, then it start working. By the way, there is hardly much difference between the Standard and Turbo modes, except Turbo consumes more energy..Version: 2.7.0

Really enjoy the wheelI now have 5500 miles on my wheel. A great way to get to work..Version: 2.11.7

Beautiful bikes! My only concern is that the team who developed the great application that works with the wheel have the resources AND the desire to keep updating the app. I’ve had my wheel since 2017 and haven’t seen any ground breaking updates since. I’ve reached out to the the company to inquire about Apple Watch compatibility but nothing. If you go to the website, the main page is all about electric scooters. Don’t forget about the the people who invested in your beautiful ebikes Superpedestrian!.Version: 2.11.6

4 stars until location svcs "while using"I love my Copenhagen Wheel… But you need to change the location services portion to say that it will only use location while using the app. Right now we only have always and never. If I leave it on always it drains my iPhone battery. So I have to manually change it every time I ride my bike to always. That and allow to never sleep while using he app. I have to charge my display every time to never sleep. Otherwise love it so far!.Version: 2.4.0

Going on three monthsMy Copenhagen Wheel is one of the best purchases I’ve made in the last five years. I was concerned about paying $1700 until I reviewed my utilization of car2go and dockless scooters over the previous 12 months $2,400. That did not include Uber and Lyft. I’ve have not needed anything but my bike going on three months..Version: 2.10.0

Hard to Overstate How AwesomeI've been commuter riding for 20 years, 30 yeqrs if you count my early teens and paper route. I really did 20 miles a day and road thousands of miles a year. However, over the years as I approached 40 the old family genes kicked in with bad knees and low blood pressure. I struggled to ride or even want to. Then I found this modern miracle! On the first day after installation on a Specialized Crosstrail, I went 35 miles, to work, to lunch, to a bike shop for winter riding gloves, and home again. I ride every day all over the place. I cannot state enough what a life-changing invention this wheel is and this is the app to get it running..Version: 2.8.1

Downright AmazingI finally got my Copenhagen wheel after a 3 year wait from when I first signed up with Kickstart as the project needed funding. The wait was worth it. The wheel immediately connected with My Wheel and even told me I needed to turn my bike right side up to get started. The built in instructions were helpful and in no time I was cruising along. I love the features that lets you know what the battery level is, when you are regenerating and the basic information saved on each trip. I also appreciate the several ways you can communicate with the Superpedestrian support group. I have contacted them from time to time for updates and questions. I have always gotten quick & informative responses with names of staff if I had any follow up questions. I am a cancer survivor who has lost much of my riding stamina and have not passed any other bicycle types in a long time. I really look forward to saying "Passing on your left"..Version: 2.1.1

GreatLove it.Version: 2.11.1

Love the wheel, want a mapOlive my wheel and the app does a great job managing it. The only thing they would make it better is to see a map while riding. Any chance of that?.Version: 2.11.6

GPS consumes iPhone batteryThe app is great, but I have to close it as soon as I get off the bike. Otherwise, the GPS consumes the battery of my iPhone in minutes! That is a shame, because automatic connection is not possible, I need to do it manually every time..Version: 2.11.6

This wheel makes a great electric bike!I have written lots of electric bikes. My bike with a Copenhagen wheel is one of the smoothest and most fun to ride of any..Version: 2.11.7

Love the Copenhagen Wheel!!!So much fun. Makes me feel like a kid on a bike again..Version: 2.11.5

New version solved it!Whatever updates they did mid October were really effective. Auto-connect works flawlessly, and stays logged in after updates. Intuitive dashboard for looking at trip data after rides..Version: 2.1.1

Excellent productI am so glad I got this Copenhagen wheel. I have an electric bike and this works better! Such smooth assistance. No jolting at all. You wouldn’t even know it’s there except the hills are easier. Really well designed. I keep it in eco mode and with shifting it’s great. Even though I think the wheel weighs about 18 lbs I sometimes ride with the motor (which is totally silent) off on a flat road and it’s fine. Really great product. If you can find one and you have the right bike for it (caliper brakes) grab it! You won’t be sorry..Version: 2.11.7

App needs some improvementThe wheel itself is awesome, but the app needs improvement. Connection to wheel works flawlessly, power mode change, etc. The issue is the ride tracker. Rides need the app to closed and relaunched before being listed, and they are not listed always. Tracking works random, sometimes just a straight line for over 10 miles. When you reset your password, all previous ride history is gone, start at zero again!.Version: 2.7.1

Used for 5 months - needs bugs fixed1. Touch ID needed, randomly requires entry of logon, doesn't save logon info. 2. Unit setting of "Imperial" gives speed in mph, but altitude in meters. 3. Default setting seems to be turbo, but would make more sense to have standard as default. 4. Map of route is tiny and not zoomable..Version: 2.3.0

Caution – LugnutsReally enjoying my Copenhagen wheel after one month. However, be aware that lugnuts on at the end of axle tend to loosen. Check lug nuts before every ride..Version: 2.10.0

Great funThe app is great for the superpedestrian bike. Sometimes had trouble connecting the bike to the app. This problem seems to be fixed now..Version: 2.11.4

Test ride of Peugeot with SuperpedestrianFitted 10 speed shimano 105 on the wife’s Peugeot ladies bike. Straightforward fit frame accepted a slight cold set to accommodate the wheel and with the matching paintwork it looks part of the bike. Straight into standard mode and away the bike went with ease up the road. Switch to Turbo for the small incline and the smooth delivery of power continued. Back pedalling and the breaking was more than I expected but controllable. First impressions - just as I had hoped and more..Version: 2.11.5

The awesomeness that is the Copenhagen WheelTo date I’ve put several hundred miles on the wheel and couldn’t be more satisfied. I had originally planned to use the wheel only periodically, but it’s ease of operation and the possibility of at least delaying potential knee surgery has altered those plans. Thank you, Superpedestrian. Your Copenhagen Wheel is awesome..Version: 2.10.0

Life changingI have always been active. But hit with Breast Cancer, Kidney Cancer and now cancer in my lungs - I simply couldn’t keep up with my friends. However, with the Copenhagen Wheel I can! I love being able to be a part of my group without the looks of sympathy. This wheel was put on the bike I already loved. Good to go! Simple as that. One improvement I would look for in the app is the down time without resetting a ride. What I mean is that if I take my iPhone to take a picture of something fabulous, the app stops the ride. I have to restart. I’d rather have the data for the one ride instead of smaller segments..Version: 2.11.5

Great app. Great wheelLove the app but it needs Apple Watch / activity support. Great maps and stats all around. It’s awesome. Just needs activity recording. Thanks.Version: 2.10.0

Hard to reconnect and have to resetSometimes needs to reset the wheel to reconnect when you take little distance from the wheel.Version: 2.7.0

27 miles in the Willamette ValleyEvery time I stop it gives me a new ride. When I stop to eat a nutrition bar the connection to the app on my iPhone X is lost. The only way to resume is to turn off the wheel and start a new ride. I wish there was a way to increase the time allowed to stop. The same has happened at long traffic signals. I still give the wheel 5 stars, because I can keep up with my friends, and I am not exhausted at the end of the ride. Let’s go dancing!.Version: 2.10.0

My Superpedestrian wheelI’m 74 years old. I started riding bicycles quite often when I was 11. I have raced in national bike races during my riding days, but now ride only for exercise and the comfort of just riding. The problem is I live in a large hilly area. I thought my riding was over until I learned about this incredible wheel. I can now ride anywhere I want to go, as long as the ride stays within the limit time of the wheel, which for me is about 2.5 hours. I recommend that anyone in my position contact Superpedestrain. This is a fabulous wheel. You owe it to yourself to check it out..Version: 2.11.5

Fun, fun!I ride eight miles each way to work in Atlanta, the wheel makes it really fun. I get to exercise and commuter at the same time. I’d been following the wheel for some time but what put it over the top was when I saw a woman riding with the wheel, passing me as I pulled out of my driveway. She then passed me again 4 miles later as I was stuck in traffic. Thx! Dan.Version: 2.11.5

Sunday afternoonIt’s incredible very smooth and glides easily up or down the hills.Version: 2.11.7

It’s a breeze!App and Copenhagen Wheel make riding extra fun and easy! Great job!.Version: 2.10.0
