Love the wheel hardware - app is disappointingI’ve put over 1000 miles on my wheel with minimal complaints. TBH the app is pretty bad. Constant disconnects and starting new rides when stopped. No Apple HealthKit integration even though it computes calories, can’t swipe to change ride modes have to click a spot on the screen, total lack of customization. The app feels unfinished with is disappointing because the hardware is pretty great..Version: 2.11.1

Awesome hardware, horrible appNothing like trying to leave on a cold morning and being driven back into the house to complete a forced update on an app just to be able to ride. And of course having to go through resetting your forgotten password so the app can login to Superpedestrian, you know, so you can ride. But it's always worth the update to discover how the developers were somehow able to yet again make the interface even less friendly to use while riding. It ridiculous to be forced to use a battery consuming app to track my route and mileage when you can't even do anything with the data. It's ridiculous that I can't opt out of SP tracking my rides and data. If anyone really cares about tracking, they'll be using something like Map My Ride so they can track every bike they ride. Not to mention being able to plan routes, or share routes, or you know, navigate. It's awesome to know that if there's any interference, it may take a minute to connect to the wheel just so you can ride. Or maybe have to cycle the wheel on and off a couple times just so you can ride. It's awesome to know that if your phone battery dies, you can't use your wheel. Yay! I guess I should have known to bring a charger and plan to sit around for another Starbucks before being able to ride my bike home. It's great to know that even though you may not be able to turn it on, the Wheel doesn't actually have any rotational lock, so that friendly bike thief will still be able to pedal it away as you wait for your phone to charge. It's ridiculous that hardware this good requires any App, much less one this flaky and bad. The Wheel and the App need a mode where you set a default assist level, and the wheel powers on in that mode without requiring a Bluetooth phone connection. If I want to change while riding, sure, I have to use the app. But otherwise, just let me turn it on and ride..Version: 2.11.1

Nightmare trying to update firmwareThis app had me pulling my hair out trying to update the firmware on my wheel. Constantly got to ~10%, cut out, and then wouldn’t progress past 0% thereafter. Still trying to figure it out......Version: 2.11.0

Bad appThe wheel is great, but the app has issues and it makes riding less fun. It’s very slow to load rides; I usually need to close the app and reopen it to see the latest ride. My most recent ride also failed to track the last ten minutes of riding. PLEASE spend more time and effort improving the app so the overall riding experience is better!.Version: 2.7.1

Buggy & clearly selling your data. Forces google/Facebook login.Would expect more from an MIT based company, but clearly the greed of Silicon Valley has crept into this company’s business model. The app crashes, a lot. It has a hard time finding my wheel most days (yes, I am fully updated with firmware) and has a really hard time accepting that I DONT want to login with Facebook or google. It also has a hard time accepting that I DO NOT want to share my location with it on a permanent basis. I loose 15 minutes a day fussing around with this app... not a lot but, but becomes so when I realize that I bought my wheel to make my days less complicated, not more. Shame on you super pedestrian..Version: 2.11.5

Support NonexistentI bought a new phone and downloaded this app so I can continue using my super pedestrian wheel. I tried to login to the app via google and keep getting errors. I tried to reset my password and that also produces errors. Please update this app so that a login isn’t required if you all aren’t going to support the wheel anymore..Version: 2.11.7

What a shameProbably the best idea in mobility in a generation just squandered away..Version: 2.11.7

Server is down.Currently the server has been down for 3weeks, you can’t log into the app and therefore you can’t use your wheel..Version: 2.11.7

Room to improveIt does the job okay, but there's room to improve. For those of us lucky enough to have an Apple Watch, it would be fantastic to look at our watch to see our speed, distance and change the assist mode. Integration with Apple's Health app would help to close my activity circles..Version: 2.3.0

Kept shutting offI was riding around Cambridge and every time I had a stop I have a bout a minute or two the wheel with shut off don’t have to restart it..Version: 2.11.5

Good effort but just a bit flakyWhen I first downloaded the app it crashed every time I launched it. But Superpedestrian fixed the problem almost immediately, so credit to them. The new version works fine, though it's a bit flaky. For example, this morning I got an alert that my wheel had 0% battery, when in fact it was about 60%. It's also missing some nice-to-have features. It would be nice to see a summary of past trips that would better help plan trips: average speed, average number of miles per charge, etc..Version: 2.1.1

Calibration ProblemThe tire size options appear to be associated with circumferences for 700 wheels. I use 26” wheels on recumbent trikes. Can’t seem to motivate app developer to update for this wheel size or change to allow user to enter circumference value for accurate speed and distance. Support seems nonexistent..Version: 2.11.7

Wheel Great, App LackingThe wheel have been spectacular, but I think the app needs to be able to do a better job of being able to recover rides. On one ride I stopped off at a store, and when I came back it had forgotten it's previous ride data. Also, the wheel keeps forgetting its name. It's not a huge deal, just feels a bit buggy. Would love to see the option to do more with the bike data, for example calculate things like what percentage of battery was used per ride, or ability to export the data to a spreadsheet. Also, an open API/integration with other applications would be amazing. That is the future of the ebike game, and I'd love SP to stay up front..Version: 2.11.5

Commuter wheelThis wheel is great when everything works. It sometimes works when the app says it doesn’t. It is a good wheel for commuters. It is way inadequate for touring, which I’m training to do. Even for an old guy like me, 40 a 45 miles per charge is a minimum requirement. The Copenhagen Wheel just doesn’t do that. I’ll try to sell mine..Version: 2.10.0

No Support for this productI have an issue with my wheel but Superpedestrian won’t tend to my inquiry..Version: 2.11.7

Disappointing updateThe latest update makes the app much harder to use. Switching between power levels is now harder to do and easy to accidentally switch in the wrong direction. Coloring makes it impossible to read my clock. I should be able to turn off map tracking to save battery, at least until it is a useful map that I can open in google maps and use to navigate future rides. It would also be great to be able to ride without the app (if my phone runs out of battery). I do love my wheel though!.Version: 2.9.0
