✓ Unfortunately let down by time limitHi I put credit on to this and was very pleased with the cost of making calls home whilst I was on holiday. BUT AS THERE IS A TIME LIMIT ON THE CREDIT ON YOUR ACCOUNT MY MONEY WAS BASICALLY STOLEN FROM ME AND HENCE WILL NOT BE USING ANYMORE.Version: 6.3

✓ Doesn’t always workI’ve been using Foo Call for years and there are now unfortunately some issues with it: 1) they delete your credit if you don’t use it within certain period of time - I’d call it pure theft. 2) At the point when my credit is low, Foo call won’t allow me to make any further phone calls until I top my account up even when I have about an hour of conversations left with my credit. 3) it is becoming more difficult to connect. I’m hanging online for ages sometimes and then I get cut off. This is happening even when my WiFi connection is very good. I actually count myself lucky if I manage to make a call! ✓ App is alrite but account recharge process is dodgyI had been using footalk before being emailed that it's changed names and I need to install foocall instead. I am very low user of international call when it comes to voip apps. But foocall apparently pockets in all the unused credit if the account is not used for more than 180days. I find it a cheap way to make money by this app. I strongly recommend user s to be aware of this before leaving ur credit in the account. I have stopped using the app Coz of this cheap trick. ✓ They are set up to take your moneyYou can top up the account and after 180 days all that wasn’t used disappears! They take it! Yes the money you earned are taken away for no other reason but Terms and Conditions! It’s not even 12 months like in any other normal business or app. 180 days passes quickly and it’s your job to worry about it as they will take it without even notifying you! Vile practice. ✓ Why foocall and not footalk?Not too happy with the app. Even though switching was really easy and my credit got transfered.. The new interface isn't as fancy. You can't paste a number into the dial field. And I actually couldn't make any calls. I didn't hear anything and it just wouldn't connect. ✓ Useless FraudNo first call free.. This is the same useless Foocall app, they just changed the new logo to cheat customers once again, please there are plenty of apps better than this in App Store..Version: 1.0
✓ Update / money return.If you upgraded the app like I did and some of the features weren't there, there's an easy way to refund - by talking to apple customer service or just going to your purchases and stating that there's an issue. Which is what I did with this app and I got my money refunded..Version: 6.0.1

✓ Crap App!I’ve had nothing but trouble with Foo Call (I think they’ve since changed ownership?). I had an ongoing unresolved issue with using the Local Number option. It never worked, and for more than a year they’ve been unsuccessfully trying to resolve the problem. My credit kept expiring, and it was being re-instated due to the problem. However, since it expired at end of May 2018, they have not reinstated my $30.** worth of credit. I’ve sent them six emails asking them to, and they haven’t had the courtesy to reply. If you run into problems with Foo Call, don’t expect a speedy resolution, or one at all. Steer clear!.Version: 6.2.1

However I recently received a message saying my balance would expire unless I top up. Their customer service has now confirmed it will expire every 180 days unless you top up more. What a con. ✓ VERY POORI have been faithfully using Foocall for more than 3 years, having been very happy with all aspects of their service -that is until the latest update when I lost £30 of credit. ✓ Not workingI used this app while I was living in the UK. It was amazing. Easy to use, cheap, and great voice quality. Now I've moved back to the US and had to reinstall it. After many tries the app won't send me a confirmation number so I can't use it. FooCall has yet to respond to my multiple emails asking for help. ✓ Waste of MoneyI’ve been using this app for a while now and it keeps on playing up. It’s frustration when you have to make an important call abroad and the app just doesn’t work. I’ve asked for a refund and they either ignore your Emails or try and make excuses wanting you to try doing something different. Not worth the hassle get something else.
