FITIV Pulse Heart Rate Monitor for Positive User Reviews

Excellent Heart MonitorAs a senior with two heart problems, I have very happy with the FITIV Pulse. It does an excellent job of tracking my heart rate so I know exactly when and if I am “overdoing it”..Version: 8.0.6

Good app for tracking and monitoring workoutsI like this app. It works with my workflow, gives me visual feedback on how I am doing and where my heart rate is at the time, along with the trend. It works with my Apple Watch and my Polar heart rate band. Interface on the Watch app is a little clunky for my liking, hence 4 rather than 5 stars..Version: 5.3.3

Fantastic AppWas looking for an alternative to Polar Flow when I got my Apple Watch. This app does everything that I wanted and more. It is very reliable. Developers listen to feedback and have added some great features in the latest release. Love this app!.Version: 4.0.0

Best workout app and I’ve tried most on the marketStacked with all sorts of exercises to choose from. Great detail and graphics. Perfect integration to Apple Watch, multiple in workout displays during a workout and you can change any of the metrics real time I.e active calories to heart rate etc. If you’re serious about keeping fit this is the No1 must have app..Version: 5.1.3

Better now... works and doesn’t crash as often..Version: 7.6.4

It’s awesome you can edit the workout title nowWithout having to pay for it.Version: 7.0.2

FITIV Pulse - the best!!Love this app. Works beautifully with Apple Watch as heart rate monitor. I moved to it as my in ride app and upload data to STRAVA later. Much better visual feedback for me on iPhone while I ride. Can even have different data in phone vs watch. Incredibly easy to customize..Version: 7.6.3

GreatLove it! Easy to customise workouts and settings, with really good Apple Watch app which can work alongside the iPhone or separately. Really useful to be able to sort through workouts by type and by tag. The GPS trail record mapping works well and it’s good to add photos to workouts if wanted. Really lovely to use, thank you!.Version: 7.6.2

Love it!This app allows me to clearly see my heart rate during my workouts and also accurately tracks my workouts and runs. I also love that it gives me updates throughout my run.Version: 6.8.8

Best total work out app for Apple WatchI do HIT work outs (high intensity training) and wear a polar H7 heart rate monitor. I lift weights and ride spin bike along with skipping rope. You can pick weight lifting and most cardio exercises (but none for skipping rope.) This app is brilliant. I use my iPhone to track my work out and Apple Watch, both using this app. My only complaint is app won't stay on glance. The clock screen of watch is always present you have to manually go into apps screen and open motifit each time you want to check your watch for workout data. I have no idea why? I keep my phone within 5-10 feet of me so I can easily see my data on phone screen. Best Apple Watch work out app I have found. For a work out timer stop watch check out repetitiveT.Version: 4.3.0

Good, but has issues! The app is excellent when it works 100%. I have a constant issue with it not starting up on my Apple Watch. To get around the issue, I have to uninstall the app from the watch and then re-install (support told me to do this). It will work for a period of time and then fail again, just stating “starting workout” on the watch and hanging at that point. It is so frustrating as the app does everything I need it to do when it works, heart rate zones etc. Please fix the issue and I may well renew my subscription when it expires, if not, I will look for an alternative or invest in a Polar or Garmin device..Version: 5.1.5

Awesome app!Great tool for tracking levels of exertion during training,,,.Version: 8.0.6

Love it!The ultimate app for fitness tracking. I wish it synced distance data on the health app better but it’s still worth the price..Version: 7.6.0

Delighted to see this app back on trackHaving had some issues with this app in the past, it’s great to see that those bugs have been removed. This again now ranks as my top fitness app. I love its flexibility and how you can customise the stats on the Apple Watch. And the live heart rate monitor on the display is fantastic..Version: 6.8.0

FantasticBest fitness app I’ve seen & used. Please Keep up good work & look forward to any updates to make it better. However it would be good if you could do an exercise which allows you to run/walk, given the fact of arthritis in knees but other that that, fantastic app.Version: 6.1.1

Best in my opinion!I have used all sorts of fitness apps. All the map my fitness apps (run, ride, etc), wahoo, UA record, Apple watch, polar, runkeeper, etc. This has been the best of all of them. I do a variety of work out types from lifting, hitt, biking, running, etc. This app covers all of them well. I like the integration with Apple's health as I use the apple ecosystem of devices. The best feature I enjoy is running the app off my apple watch. I linked my polar HR strap to the watch and run all workouts through the watch. It's accurate and informative. No need to take my phone or keep it nearby. It updates as soon I bring the watch and phone together..Version: 6.1.1

Just what I neededI was frustrated by the Apple Watch that it only counted active calories burned and not like how Fitbit works where it shows total calories per day burned. This app works so well, it not only shows a combined calorie burn per day, but shows calories burned in a breakdown format; active vs normal calories burned. Really love this app!.Version: 6.5.2

Great App!Highly recommend.Version: 7.6.2

FitipulseVery easy to use for all activities. Like the tracking system, week, months, etc.Version: 8.0.6

My Favorite Fitness AppI have quite a few fitness apps that I use and I can say I enjoy fitness. When I signed up for this I thought it would mimic the health app for the Apple Watch. In some ways (color scheme) it did. Little did I know, however, the functionality would be far greater than what I would expect. I can sync FITIV to multiple fitness apps (pretty much a given). I can also create, modify, and edit exercises before, during and after an activity. I love the collective data information given about your exercise (target HR, usage %, Total vs Active calories burned, duration, gps and non-god distance, pacing, etc etc etc). This is the only app I use for my fitness activities now. It did not take me long at all to purchase the app after starting the trial. It was well worth it and I would gladly do it again!.Version: 6.0.12

Workout Smarter Not HarderThis app is indispensable; I use it every time I workout. I used to huff and puff for an hour on the elliptical. When I started using IFitiv, I found I could burn the same number of calories by walking on the treadmill, and I kept my heart rate in the endurance zone. Previously I would always go for “hardcore” and even get into red zone. After every workout I felt terrible and exercising made me feel worse not better. I don’t exercise as hard now but I burn the same number of calories by working out longer. I don’t dread exercise anymore and it actually gives me more energy not less. Data helps!.Version: 8.0.3

Great Fitness Workout AppBeen using this app for over 3 years and it’s amazing for tracking my fitness, heart rate (via. Apple Watch) and provides me detailed stats of my performance. Definitely recommend it to anyone! 💪🏼.Version: 6.0.5

Love the FITIV appI regularly do aerobics and weight training. While I do use the ifit apps on my nordictrack equipment, I still appreciate the FITIV app as I can track my training no matter what activity or equipment I happen to be using. I also enjoy the goal- oriented aspect of the FITIV app. I use a polar chest strap to track my heart rate, and the FITIV app pairs well with that device. I also do some road biking during the warmer months. FITIV takes advantage of my iPhone GPS capabilities to track my entire ride, and of course I save those workouts along with all my other training. Bottom line: FITIV is the one consistent app that tracks all the metrics I need in a consistent manner, no matter what equipment or type of training I am doing..Version: 8.0.7

Brilliant app that has become part of my daily routineI use the app every day in conjunction with my Apple Watch and it really helps me achieve the goals (such as active calories) that I have set myself. I love the public group challenges and the ability to set up private challenges with friends..Version: 6.0.6

Fabulous appActually I love this app, the flexibility, the ability to customise workouts. It was a serious love affair in the making. I did have some trouble upgrading, dropped an email to support, who can back quickly with a fix; so yay! Love the fact that I can set up all sorts of different workouts. I do a lot of different training and I can log it all here..Version: 6.0.10

Best app for HR trainingEasily the best app for using HR monitor or apple watch. Lots of detail but not to much. It has really helped my training..Version: 7.6.2

Live Apple Watch Data on my phoneThis is what I wanted. My watch data streaming on my phone while I work out at home. I don’t want to look at my watch. I want the data in front of me just like it is at the gym when I connect my watch to the equipment. Works exactly as advertised. That’s all I use if for. Worth every cent..Version: 6.0.10

Needs iWatch workout app to function accurately.I love that I can use this app to visualize my heart rate percentages. But a flaw I have found is that the heart rate monitoring is MUCH more accurate when you begin a workout in the native iWatch workout app as well as a workout in the MotiFIT app. For some reason when I reach approximately 85% of my max HR, the app will read my heart as 1/2 of what it really is. For example when my heart rate is 160. The app will read 80 unless I have both workouts running. It's almost as if the motifit app doesn't continuously check heart rate as well as the native iWatch workouts app. I have noticed though that when ending both workouts, only the motifit workout is added to my iOS Health app since that is the workout that I had open and monitored while working out. As a side note I have been tracking heart rates during my Spin class for 50-60 minutes. Battery loss on iPhone and iWatch are both minimal..Version: 3.4.0

Great App for Fitness TrackingI’ve been using the app for a couple of weeks now and I love it. The UI is very clean and intuitive. It definitely enhances the experience of tracking health metrics compared to the stock Apple fitness and health apps. I also really like the ‘Community’ section, it’s fun to scroll through and see what other FITIV users are up to. I haven’t done a deep dive on the full functionality of the app yet, but it works great on my iPhone and watch so far. 👍.Version: 8.0.6

Love the appEven though I use plenty of activity platform tracker I just cannot get rid of fitiv pulse app. I love the diagram I get after each seance love the heart rate tracker with the zone in color! Definitely worth the annual price.Version: 7.6.5

New interface is good, but some issuesCalories consumed is consistently incorrectly taken from Apple Health, which is a shame as the daily/weekly calorie deficit is a great idea. The leaderboards don’t work either as I should be showing up on them and don’t - missing that motivation, please fix!.Version: 4.0.2

Great Idea but does not work with Apple WatchI had a lot of problems with this app when I first got t back when it was called MOTIFIT. The big one was that it wouldn’t connect to my Apple Watch. Since then however, I’ve become a beta tester for the app and put forward numerous ideas some of which have been incorporated into the app and some which will hopefully be in the near future. I use the app paired with a Polar H7 and Apple Watch and it works very well. The information presented on your phone/iPad can be customised so that you only see what you want to see and it also uses GPS to log cycle rides, runs etc. You can also automatically or manually upload your workouts to Strava and it can be linked with My Fitness Pal if you’re tracking your calorie intake and expenditure. There are still some minor issues such as custom workouts randomly disappearing then re-appearing on my Apple Watch and there’s also a bit of a lag (5 - 10 seconds) when starting a workout on the Apple Watch but these will hopefully be rectified with future updates. The app owners are also very responsive and do all they can to help when issues arise. Support is great and can be accessed either via the app or on their Facebook page. 5 stars from me, great app and I highly recommend it for anyone who’s into their fitness. I use it for my weigh trainings, indoor rowing, cycling and walking..Version: 4.2.0

Great analysis appGreat app to build performance and training metrics..Version: 7.6.3

Recommend it for all my friendsMany apps some are better some are worse, but to me this app getting better and better because any crashing is history till this point plus ability to request reasonable improvements … mostly using for jogging/running, but in to gym is ultimate buddy…. bought pro version way before apple watches/nike running appears into market and mostly using with polar HRM straps, but with apple watch works very well too…..Version: 7.6.0

GreatFantastic app! Try it! :).Version: 8.0.3

Can’t rate highly enough - but have just downgraded to 4I have simple requirements 1) run with Apple Watch without iPhone 2) customisable metrics on screen when I run 3) use Polar HRM over Apple Watch HR 4) log GPS track 5) log altitude 6) high and low HR warnings as I run 7) fully transferable workout data Okay I use RunGap too which helps with 7 FITIV is the only app I have found that does all these things. Most apps will log the Polar HR but show you the Apple HR live when you run. And HR warnings are hard to find. Plus this app is functionally rich and easy to use I have just downgraded to 4 stars because it has gremlins (like the display suddenly stops updating with the most recent heart rate). Which might be okay if you could get a response from support and they ever helped you fix problems..Version: 6.1.0

Swiss Army knife of activity trackingI started using it today and subscribed once I saw how details and complete this app is. Owning an Apple Watch I find this app great for step counting and so many other features it has, seems to be the Swiss Army knife of activity tracking (seems even more useful if a user owns iPhone + watch) so I just subscribed for a year and I’ll update the review in few weeks. |—————| Suggestions: 1-The one thing I already noticed it lacks is a widget (hopefully it would be customizable) for the iPhone. It has so many options and such a large amount of data it tracks and displays that frankly I still have to get the hang of it. 2-The colors used within the app are similar of the native watchOS activity tracking app but I would actually rather if they used the very same colors of the native app 3-Just like in suggestion #2 is like the icons of the workouts to be more similar to the ones of the native activity app from watchOS / iOS All in all this is an impressive app. Keep up the good work devs..Version: 5.0.1

This is the One!Hands down the best app for utilize your Apple Watch heart rate sensor! Real time heart rate data form your Apple Watch to your phone. Just awesome if you at gym and need continuous heart rate reading one display. Hey developer, fix the report area so we can effectively post bugs and ideas, we can make the app even better. Good job and keep your work!.Version: 4.0.0

Great appDoes what it says in the tin. Great app, unobtrusive but the data it provides is awesome…really helps me hit my fitness goals.Version: 6.8.0

RatingExcellent exercise app!.Version: 4.3.3

Haptic feedback option available againWorking properly now and option to turn off haptic feedback is back after latest apple watch update..Version: 8.0.6

Good but some probs with Apple WatchI really like this app but getting the app to work on Apple Watch can be a pain as when choosing a workout it is really slow to react can take up to 5 minutes for it to start, an automatic start would be better as I presumed that once selecting the workout it started to record however you have to select start but didn’t realise this until 15 minutes into a workout so really quite annoying. My watch and phone are up to date so think it’s just a glitch in the app hope it improves, otherwise it’s really good.Version: 4.4.0

Updated: I just love itUpdate: Monica got back to me right away and all I needed to do was click “restore purchases” a few times to trigger communication with the App Store. BOOM! I’m now a Pro Member like Im supposed to be. Easy peasy. So that said and done if they decide to add nutrition logging to the app, which I hope they eventually do, I’ll change this to a five star rating. The app is great. I love it. It has almost all the features I need and want and some I didn’t even know I wanted. It sucked me in with the free trial and I was instantly hooked. Everything was simple to understand. The layout is fresh, easy to maneuver and, my favorite part, editable. So there’s nothing that I see that I don’t want to and there’s nothing that I can’t see that I do want to. However, one day I woke up and my free trail was over. Boom! I was a free member and none of those amazing features were usable. So I gladly paid for the yearly membership. Who wouldn’t? The app is incredible! Well, take my word for it and be cautious. Pay for a month first and see if it works because it didn’t for me. The only feature it gave me was nutrition. Everything else is saying I need to upgrade. So I basically just paid ten dollars for what I already have to input into a free app anyway. Smh. I’m disappointed to say the least and hope that my ticket gets responded to promptly because I don’t like paying full price for a fraction of a product..Version: 4.4.0

It’s working again!I bought this under its previous name and it used to work really well. However, it then frequently crashed before it even got going. (Very frustrating when you just want to enjoy your workout in a certain training zone). So I didn’t use it for quite sometime. Just tried the most recent update and it’s working again. So happy as I haven’t found an alternative that’s anywhere near as good as this..Version: 6.1.1

Excellent App & MotivatorFITIV is a great update to the MotiFIT app with a greatly improved look and feel along with IOS 11 integration. Improves my workouts and has numerous capabilities beyond the default Apple apps. I am an avid fitness addict and take 5 or 6 cycling classes per week. I use MotoFit with my Apple Watch and the combo has replaced my Polar Heart rate monitor. Easily seeing where you are in your zones during your workout motivates me & pushes me to work harder more than seeing the results afterwards with the Polar. I have had issues, this is not perfect yet, but the developer is quite responsive to queries. Highly recommended. An update - I've found that just relying on the Apple Watch for heart rate adds a few inaccurate spikes to each workout, skewing results. I've since bought a Polar H7 Bluetooth strap and paired it with my Apple watch. Motofit is now much more accurate. I also love the new feature where my watch vibrates on zone transitions. Great job! Another update - this app keeps on getting better and better, now with many more customizations. And developer is very responsive to issues and suggestions. Deserves 6 stars..Version: 4.2.0

This app is awesomeThe stock exercice app is a shame compared to this one..Version: 5.3.3

Works goodI was looking for an app that would work for my Apple Watch. This one seems to measure my heart rate fine. I like the fact that when I raised my wrist it shows my heart rate. I use a the Wahoo Heart monitor to help with that. The only issue that I'm having is that the calorie total I'm burning during a workout is incorrect. It indicates that I'm burning an average of 5 calories per minute. I know that's incorrect because all my other friends (that are my age) that workout with me burn an average of 7-8 cal per min. I believe it's an Apple Watch issue as when I just use other apps using just the iPhone the calories are more accurate. Hopefully an update will correct this. Otherwise this is a nice app..Version: 6.5.2

Love itCan’t imagine doing my workouts with out it. Keeps me accountable and motivated..Version: 7.6.2

Great stats, visuals and customer serviceExcellent app: great visuals in the workout, and very informative stats and summaries afterwards. Plus, the customer service is superb..Version: 8.0.10

Everything you need for Apple Watch fitnessWorks with my Polar H 10 heart rate monitor and does every think I need plus This app syncs up very well with the Apple health app.Version: 7.3.0

Does it’s job wellI tried lots of different apps looking for the right mix and this one hit the spot with excellent presentation and giving me the info I need when I need it, such as changing heart rate zone while I’m running. An excellent tool..Version: 6.4.0

ComprehensiveAll the information that I want to keep track of is all included in this one app. Doesn’t annoy for input just does its job behind the scene..Version: 5.3.2

Great so farJust been using the app for a week now but really enjoying the extra functions for the Apple Watch over the regular Workout functions there. Great for checking I’m keeping my heart rate in the right zone for each training at just a quick glance at my wrist. And the heart rate graph at the end of a workout is great for analysing afterwards..Version: 6.0.11

Fitness over 60I recently decided to include monitoring my heart rate during my exercises and the best app I’ve found is FITIV. Simple to use with good graphics for reference throughout the workout. Good variety of workouts. I’ve only used this app for 10 days, but so far so good..Version: 8.0.5

Incredible efficienciesIndispensable.Version: 7.5.4

Just RightI just wanted to track my workouts, specifically tracking heart rate while I exercise. This app is easy to use, works reliably and has great, clear visuals. Setup is fairly simple and there are plenty of features. The subscription cost is realistic unlike some over inflated apps I tested, although I would always prefer the option to buy once!(take note developers :). Metrics seem accurate and consistent calories may be a little high but makes me feel better about workout, so I’m happy to be on the optimistic side... Lots of other features and social elements that are cool, I don’t really use those bits so can’t really say if they are good or otherwise. Note to developers please move the stop/start buttons! On iPhone 10 upwards I regularly end up switching apps when trying to slide to buttons into view..Version: 6.0.12

Motivating and nice UILike the way it just sits in the background monitoring my workouts then pops up every now and then to give me a badge. I found heart data really useful until I got a Whoop band. Highly recommended probably the best HR app I’ve got..Version: 6.7.0

My one and only fitness trackerFITIV is the only fitness tracker I use. I love all of the features it provides (e.g. “live streaming” of my HR from my Apple Watch). There is an extensive list of workouts available to choose from or you can create your own. Should there be an issue, their IT department is on top of it, Monica provides prompt responses and exhausts every solution possible to get you back to your workout! There is so much in this app, get in there and play with it!! I do not know how it works with devices other than an Apple Watch, but I am sure they make sure it is just as flawless as the Apple Watch. Because the developers and IT are dedicated to this appams make it so amazing , it is very easy for me to be dedicated to this app. 💪🏼❤️.Version: 5.3.2

Finally found itGreat app , tried so many and they just didn’t do what I wanted them to do . I use this for swimming easy to see if I am working in the fat burning zone and can feel the vibration from my watch when I go in and out of this zone . Love the easy to interpret graphs too 🏊.Version: 4.1.0

Best fitness app out there!I’ve tried them all. This is the most customisable & love it draws everything together in one suave. Apple HealthKit should take note in the design, as that is horrible!! If it could link in female cycle data that would be a bonus. Customer service is also great! Thanks.Version: 5.3.3

Great for Zone workout, using a polar strap and phoneDoing Zone 2 workouts. Wanted an accurate HR monitor, which meant a chest strap. Didn’t want to add a watch, but also wanted verbal cues when HR changed. Tried several different apps and this one was the winner. The verbal cues are a little delayed, which would be my improvement to the app. However, it’s very easy to watch my HR on app while working out. That was an unexpected bonus. Can also adjust your zones, so thats a nice feature also. Finishing a workout sometimes means sliding the end button twice. A few times, the app didn’t open the first time. Overall though, the app is solid on its options, the display options, and the way it works..Version: 7.5.1

Love this appThis app made me realize I wasn’t working out to my fullest potential. There were times I honestly felt like I would die but my watch would be like - “nah girllll - youre just being lazy” so I knew I could push harder. Sometimes the opposite. I was going too hard and burning too long anaerobically and that’s bad for weight loss. After two weeks on this app I was down six pounds! I haven’t seen the scale move in YEARSSSS!!! This is awesome!!! I brag about this app in my private womens group on fb. It’s awesome!!! Just wish it had more “categories” of workouts to puck from. Like for ex) if I’m lifting weights AND doing breakouts of cardio - what type of workout should I select? So I use “CrossFit” Cause it’s not just weight lifting. Furthermore it’s not just cardio. It’s def not HIIT. So I never know what to choose. Wish they had one that was “mix” or “resistance training” for my band days. Regardless- it’s a great app!!!.Version: 7.5.2

Not badNot bad.Version: 8.0.2

Love the upgradePrevious version was the best HR app I had tried. The latest is off the chart! So happy to see the live trend chart added. Did suggest previously. Thank you.Version: 4.0.0

Almost GreatLove the app! Great customization—can rename workouts, adjust heart rate zones and create tags for your workouts. One HUGE problem with the tags though is there isn’t a way to edit them so if you misspell one you can’t correct it or remove tags you no longer use. I contacted support about this issue because I wasn’t sure if I was just overlooking the edit option, but they wrote me back and said there was no option to edit the tags but to stay tuned for updates. That was at least a year ago but still no luck. That simple fix would make the app so much more enjoyable because my list of tags is cluttered with things I no longer need or accidentally misspelled...and you can’t even scroll all the way to the bottom of your list so I have to hit the plus sign and add from memory because I can’t see them to tap on. Please fix 😩.Version: 6.2.5

Love itLove this app.Version: 8.0.2

Great customer serviceI have been using this app for just over two years with no issues and I really like it. It is the most user friendly and aesthetically appealing of all the heart rate monitors I tried. I use it with a Polar strap and my phone, I don’t own a smart watch. After two years of no issues, the app kept crashing. I tried updating the app, deleting and reinstalling, but neither helped. I emailed the company and didn’t really expect to hear back. Not only did they write back but they escalated the issue and 1-2 weeks later, sent me a beta version to test that they think fixed the issue. It has been a few weeks now and I haven’t had any problems. I am very grateful they took my concern seriously and actually fixed the problem..Version: 8.1.1

Great app but has flawsI really like this app with a great heart rate monitor and mainly works well. My huge frustration is if Inoause my exercise sa to stop on a run or hike for stustaianxe. Resuming after the pause doesn’t get recoded which is extremely annoying and a huge flaw in anotherwise decent app. Occasionally it doesn’t record work outs again extremely ammoying..Version: 6.5.0

Absolutely love this appGreat app, love the heart rate streaming from Apple Watch to my iPhone. Beautiful design and very functional. The only issue I have is that it is quite buggy at the moment (version 6.0). Freezes when I import rides, quite lags badly when viewing imported rides, and doesn’t switch profiles properly (height and weight does not change with profile change)..Version: 6.0.0

Ben HealdLove this App, I feel it’s the most accurate of all other fitness apps I’ve tried in capturing my exercise data! Also it pulls all the data from my other health apps into this app, perfect 👌😊.Version: 6.0.11

Love this appGreat all-in-one..Version: 8.0.6

Great app, easy to read statsLove this app. So easy to read the stats and programme workouts. Being able to see my training zones encourages me to work harder and/or more efficiently. Would def recommend this app..Version: 8.0.10

Over 2 years and still love it...ideal for Apple WatchI have been using FITIV for over 2 years and it is perfect for my goals. Pick my workout, track workout zones, calories, etc. control my music and keep moving. Totally worth the paid version. For the bad...sometimes it doesn’t sync right but I can easily fix it by having it reinstall on my watch. It sometimes takes a day or two to add new workouts to my watch. Most annoying, however, is the community/leaderboard is inaccurate and shows other users with crazy inflated results. That feature is not really important but it is annoying. But overall it has been a big improvement over apples built-in fitness app..Version: 6.4.4

Best fitness app ever!!Very complete and provides very accurate info.Version: 7.6.5

Great!Excellent application!.Version: 8.0.3

Good app!It allows me to track my weekly workouts..Version: 8.0.6

Love this app.Streaming a live workout from an Apple Watch is the best. Love being able to push right to the limit and staying on track..Version: 5.1.3

Love FITIVThough I connect it to other apps, this is wjlhat I use as a base and love it. It’s easy and has all of the info I need..Version: 7.6.5

👍I love it, tracks everything I eat and do, so the results are easier to achieve because you know whether you can achieve a weight loss at the end of the week.Version: 7.6.3

My favourite app for tracking activityI’ve been using FITIV for about 3 years. I love seeing the month by month, year by year trends and it’s the only app I’ve found that keeps me motivated because the points system means you need to hit a certain threshold every month. There are tons of measurements from workout heart rates, METs, walking/running distance and steps. You can see the totals for day, week, month and year. You can even track your weight and if you’re losing weight, the progress bar is great for motivation. Love this app and highly recommend it!.Version: 8.0.10

Really like itThe app works well for me the only thing I did not figure out is how to back up data and currently it does not sync with the Health APP on the iPhone if I use external HRM.Version: 5.1.0

Everything I wantedI wanted an app where I could track my heart rate zone while running, this is it..Version: 6.0.10

Really comprehensiveI like this app a lot it does a great job..Version: 3.3.1

I love this app!I've used this app for three years and I love how it works with my heart rate strap and programmed zones from my metabolic assessment at Life Time. I wish I could input calories per zone but the edit feature for adding workouts and the tracking features are all great. I've used the Polar app and a few others and none come close to this. Easy to read while working out, easy to add specific workouts, organized. It's my fav. Two things to note is it can be sensitive and close the workout before you're actually done. Or if you take your monitor off without finishing the workout you lose your data. I'd love if those things could be addressed..Version: 6.8.2

I love this app!I am a OC and dragon boat paddler and this app has been incredible! First of all most apps don’t even have a paddler option for workouts- mostly running and indoor machines. 1. The graphics and layout are fun and easy to read. Which is nice when you are trying to gather data on your workouts. I hate an ugly app. 2. Easily links to my heart monitor, whether it’s my Apple Watch or the strap. 3. The voice option is perfect when I’m out on the water ... I link to my headphones to my phone and during training, the app will tell me my heart rate, calories burned, distance, etc. which is valuable when you have to know what your body is doing and how to push it or ease up. 4. Completely worth the money. This app has dramatically helped my training and I tell everyone about it..Version: 8.1.2

Great app!Tracks really well and offers a variety of standard workouts as well as the option of creating your own custom workout activity..Version: 8.0.2

My go-to fitness appI’ve been a subscriber for several years because I absolutely love this app. A few years ago, it stopped working. It started crashing on a regular basis, and then, after about four months, it started working. After Apple updated their software, it would crash. But not any more! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE FITIV. I love that I can name my workouts, and also choose the workout that matches the one on the Apple list, and I get to track what workout I've specifically done. This is the only app that I have consistently used for several years. I highly recommend it!.Version: 7.6.2

FITIVThis is a very good informative app but does seem temperamental at times particularly with the iwatch, it does takes such a long time to load up on the watch and sometimes cuts out. Quite frustrating. Also when I am selecting to spin in the Iwatch the app records it as cycling it doubles the workouts.Version: 6.0.0

Love itLove it Makes my Apple Watch a more complete fitness device.Version: 7.6.4

First time I’ve ever rated an app. This is a superbly designed and, so far, works flawlessly. Perhaps in the future you could build in HRV measurements and HR recovery metrics??.Version: 5.3.3

Came for Apple Watch, stayed for the statsDowloaded this because I wanted something to show me more calories stats on my Apple Watch. Some of the complications are really useful (like total calories and deficit if you track nutrition too) but the post work out stats really impressed me. It was a random find but glad I found it.Version: 7.6.0

Avis sur FitivTrès bien !.Version: 7.6.5

Great heart rate sensorLove how accurate the HR is on my watch. The graphs and stats are the best! The community of users is supper supportive.Version: 7.5.0

Good appBeen using this for about 9 months and been very pleased with it. Functionality is good and provides the level of exercise feedback I want. Had one minor glitch (app reverted to trial version for some unknown reason) but the MotiFIT support was excellent: very quick advice on how to rectify problem which worked immediately. Would recommend this app..Version: 6.6.0

Can’t Workout Without This AppI am so pleased with the data at my finger tips both during my work outs and looking back afterwards. Keeps me confident that I am having the most efficient workout that I can have..Version: 7.5.2

Great appSo easy to use, all in all a great app..Version: 7.6.5

Works greatSync between watch and app works well, Good range of activities to choose from... But I want LAPS. I e-mailed using the feature request. “We’ve added your suggestion...”, but this has been requested for a long time looking through the forums. I’ll continue using, but mostly because I’m choosing a plan based on %HRR, and this is still the best option..Version: 7.5.2

Nice clear infographicsEasy to use and read with clear infographics. Would give the app 5 stars if you were able to see in real-time the exercise range you are in while walking/running/cycling to get the most out of my exercise..Version: 6.8.4

A Must have for iWatch usersGreat app, only one if you want real time data from your watch to your phone live! Great great features! I’ll be renewing next time on a yearly subscription..Version: 6.8.5

What happened?Love the app but for some reason since the change over it counting burned calories incorrectly. 60 minutes of HIIT and it tells me I’ve burnt 14 calories?? Please fix this..Version: 4.0.2

Love the app!Love the app, has some awesome stats. I’ve been using it for 2 years in the gym and whilst walking. Syncs very well with Apple Watch. Highly recommended!.Version: 7.0.1

Simple. Clean. Just worksThis simple app is a great companion to any home or gym workout. Pair with a heart rate monitor and it does everything you want it to do without all the extra fluff..Version: 7.5.1

My favourite app for tracking workoutsWorks well with all of my other workout apps. Quick syncing to and from my phone and Apple Watch. Clear instructions on how to connect with other tracking apps for best use. Nice interface. Good selection of workouts available. Brilliant stuff..Version: 6.2.5

AQReliable and accurate heart rate monitoring app that syncs to my watch every time and never lets me down … love it!!!.Version: 6.8.8

Great data, nice interface. This app provides great detailed data on workouts with a nice user interface. Making custom workouts is easy to tailor them to your lifestyle. Apple Watch app is great. Also, love the community side of it and the leaderboard with friends..Version: 5.1.6

With series 4 watch this almost replaces GarminI love this program and the new Apple watches and I really want to leave my Garmin and iPhone at home. This app now has the gps accuracy to match all my know routes to within the same approximate standard deviation as my Garmin did. The only thing that still forces me to bring the Garmin is lack of a watch display field choice for split pace. Any serious runner trying to control pace needs this. Instant pace is too under damped and average to overdamped and targeting a certain pace for a given mile / split can’t be done without knowing what the current average value has been up to the current point in the mile. I am a member of 3 running clubs and this is the most common metric all the runners I know use, I’m shocked it’s missing (Strava app does have it but lacks a lot of other things). This has to be so trivial to add ... please consider it. Update: Very responsive developer ... changed rating to 5 stars do to visible progress.Version: 5.0.1

Generally good AppValuable to track key workout data and easy to use.Version: 8.0.2

Like itSo far really nice and informative.Version: 7.5.2

A great app that’s going to get even betterThis is my favorite app on the Apple Watch. It’s great for fitness training on the bike and with its features, customizable display of real-time stats, and multiplicity of workout types, it definitely has the potential to become a top-end performance tool. For serious road or mountain bike training, it’s only limitations include a lack of cadence read outs, stats for power and stats for sensor-based speed. Yet as I’ve watched this little app’s features evolve dramatically over the last year or so I have no doubt these bike essentials will be eventually added. Fantastic app at a bargain price. Download it, and subscribe!.Version: 5.1.0

Awesome app!I’m using an old F45 monitor with this app and it works a treat. So worth it! Absolutely recommend. Make sure you keep your phone close so you don’t lose Bluetooth connection but otherwise great..Version: 6.7.4

Does all it needs toGood information and data that helps you to improve your fitness and health..Version: 8.0.3

MmmmGreat app now that intervals are progressing I hardly need anything else👍🏾👣👣👣.Version: 6.2.5

Very customizableThis is best for people who are detail oriented, I use this app to set my exercise program, down to 30 seconds with over 60 steps in one session and over 1.5 hours long. very useful.Version: 8.0.3

FITIV FITNESSExcellent app. Provides me with great motivation during my workout Encourages me to challenge myself to do better every day xdhoyngd.Version: 7.6.0

Great for custom workouts and sportsI was trying to find an app that lets me input a custom title for a workout AND sync with Apple health and fitness. I train jiu jitsu and other apps don’t have a martial arts / wrestling option at all (I’m looking at you polar) or they do but you can’t rename it. With fitiv you can add custom workouts, meaning I can select jiu jitsu and have it push over to Apple after my workout with that title. It also works great with several different monitors I’ve tried thus far. I wish there was a lifetime pass you could buy to just purchase it once and he done, but the annual/monthly options aren’t too expensive..Version: 6.5.0

Great app been using it for several years.Works well with Apple Watch and overall a great app Rick.Version: 7.6.2

Easy to operate..This app is pretty user friendly since I love tracking my workouts. I typically would’ve given 5 stars because it does what I need it to do for the most part but as of the last few months the app seems to not consistently track. I’ve used my Apple Watch to start and stop workouts for at least the last 4-5 years when FITIV was previously Motiv but literally the last 2-3 months it seems incompatible with my Apple Watch. Now I use the built in Apple fitness app to track my workouts and FITIV later seems to drop the graph and details once I’m done. Maybe that’s an update or the new thing, but I appreciated using the actual FITIV app to track and monitor my workouts. Tee 😊.Version: 6.8.2

Latest version is greatSimple interface for my Apple Watch. Easy to read and use.Version: 7.6.4

Simple easy to use and just worksI’ve been a subscriber for about a year now. This works great for tracking my running, gym workouts, using either my Apple Watch or chest strap. The charts and historic data are awesome and extremely motivating..Version: 6.0.11

Everything i was looking for and then someAs i started to use this app i kept thinking of things i’d like to see, only to discover exactly that feature, only done better than i had hoped for..Version: 7.6.0

Incredible! It’s incredible that this level of reporting is available at this price point for me! Can’t live without it. Fantastic software..Version: 6.6.0

Love it BUT!!!I absolutely love this app, BUT I have a request and one relatively minor issue… I set my phone up on my treadmill so I can monitor my heart rate with your app. Aiming for the tiny music controls is a real pain. It would be the perfect app if I didn’t have to fumble around with this feature to skip songs. I realize this may seem a bit picky, but it really screws with my hard earned rhythm when I have to steady my hand to hit those tiny, moving controls. Also, not sure if this is an app issue or an iphone/watch issue, but sometimes the app refuses to view the watch stats, and I have to keep resetting everything, until it eventually works. I have all the latest, updated gear and software..Version: 6.5.0

Love itI am really good at learning things that are naturally passions for me but fitness is not one of the things that comes easily to me, so I always struggled with getting a workout routine started because there’s so much to learn and I’m just not as naturally inquisitive about this as I am with other things. The Fitbiod app changed all that because it plans out the workouts for me and rotates through the muscle groups. This has allowed me to casually look things up as I choose to learn them (or not) without needing to obsess about all of those details upfront. This has changed everything about what is possible for me in terms of successful fitness, by making it possible at all. It feels like a miracle! What was always impossible before. I am so happy! Thank you for this app..Version: 6.4.6

Family registrations are messy through iPhoneGreat app but messy registration process. Initially I started off with an individual rego. Then my wife also started using the app so I registered a family license. After changing to a multiple user family license it now shows activation only after next year when my individual license expires. So currently my wife only has access to the app and not I. Will lodge another support email. Hopefully I’ll get a response this time..Version: 6.8.0

HeyIt works for me.Version: 4.4.1

App is good but all stop the spamApp is good but please provide an option to turn off all the banner pop ups for the teams and suggested workouts and other things I’m not interested in..Version: 7.1.2

Excellent app for tracking workoutsFITIV Pulse has proven indispensable for my fitness training with the Apple Watch. The interface is very informative and all of the most relevant data (heart rate , gps track in map and profile, splits) are very accessible..Version: 6.8.5

Great tracker, but missing featuresI have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I love all of the info and tracking information it gives, but there are some features I wish would be included in future updates. There is no lap button feature. Sometimes running it is nice to know time splits at different distances and a lap feature would take care of this. There is also no function to track distances in your work and rest intervals. It is just a continuous distance. For example, an 8:00 run with a 4:00 rest/recovery. It would be nice to know the distances for each piece. Lastly, it would be nice to have multiple work and rest times in a single workout. As is, you can only set a single work period and rest period that can be repeated. You can’t create varied work or rest intervals. As of now you have to run a separate timer along with FITIV. It should be built into the app. Great app and despite some shortcomings it is still my activity tracker of choice..Version: 6.0.8

Hélo VGreat app!!.Version: 7.6.2

Awesome fitness appA great fitness app which integrates nicely with Apple Watch. I like the live view link from my watch to my phone..Version: 6.8.8

Great productLove the fact that you can monitor heart rate zones.Version: 7.6.3

ExceptionalThe challenges and leaderboards really help with staying on track! It’s an awesome app.Version: 7.6.2

Gr8 *BUT*…. please…Use this app all the time. For all exercises. BUT PLEASE PLEASE … Can you make this one change… When initiating a GPS workout the app notifies with a green-for-go coloured screen saying “starting workout” … this is NOT true… the next screen is a manual start button. I’ve started running. I’m now fifteen minutes into the workout. Again. Checking progress on my opening 2k … and the app is waiting for me to press the start button…. FFS!!! *PLEASE* change the message to something more intuitive to understand like “preparing” or “manual start” or “acquiring GPS” frankly anything that doesn’t give the impression that the workout is starting and makes it very clear that further intervention from the user is required before user cracks on. I’ve been asking for three years and more. Please, team..Version: 6.8.5

Almost perfect. Love the focus on heart rateThis is a great workout/running app. I’ve waited for a little over a month to review to get a good feel for the app. I love the user interface and plenty of customizable options within the app. There are also plenty types of workouts to choose from. If you can’t find the workout you’re looking for, you’re able to create one. The graphics are great and easy to read while on the move. I also love that the graphics are heart rate centric with other pertinent info around it. The only drawback is I would love if they included a heart rate zone based training program— with LIVE heart rate based coaching. I had the adidas MiCoach system before and loved the way they integrated live coaching based on your heart rate zone. Each day was different, easy days...tough red zone days. The intervals kept it interesting and made me a better runner, while also helped with bursts of speed and becoming more athletic. I sent feedback to the team but unfortunately did not get a response. Ultimately, I signed up for their premium subscription and hope to see that feature added in the future..Version: 4.3.3

A useful toolThis app provides lots of interesting data and charts. It would be useful to have one or more screen/pages that can be customised to construct a table format, or even better, being able to get that data exported in a file that can be read in a spreadsheet. For example Date, duration, min, max, average heart rate, distance and other parameters measured or calculated in the app..Version: 7.4.0

Intuitive and streams Apple WatchOnly app I’ve found that streams Apple Watch data to your iPhone screen so you don’t have to keep lifting your wrist during a cardio session. It’s very intuitive to use and keeps good data metrics.Version: 5.1.2

The bestLove this app. Integrates with my fitness pal and is an awesome Apple Watch app. Perfect for tracking all the different types of exercise I do. Whether it is in a gym on a stationary bike or out running with gps. Perfect.Version: 4.2.0

Terrific appHave been using for several years now. It’s a terrific app. Room for improvement would be making it easier/simpler to create custom workouts with simple features like a 15 sec countdown at the start..Version: 6.4.6

Fantastic AppReally enjoying the FITIV app. I got my Apple Watch a couple months ago and as a fitness instructor rely on my calorie burn. This app does it all for a very affordable yearly subscription. Thank you.Version: 4.2.0

Amazing app to keep track of how hard you trained!Basically this is a simple app that shows your heart rate when you train/exercise. This is super useful as it lets you see how your fitness is improving (or not). There are a few other features but really the core data is ehrt you want to see - how long you stayed in each HR zone..Version: 8.0.9

Great app. Love the voice optionsGreat easy to use app. Love the fact it gives voice prompts on my stats so I can keep my exercise consistent without having to check devices. Worth the fee. Use it every time! Would be nice to control music from I watch app tho..Version: 4.2.0

Love the app, hate the bugsI really like everything about this app but whenever they do an update there a bugs and the app crashes and/or doesn’t properly record workouts. Each time, I have had to contact customer service, which is just a bit of a pain. I wish they would send an email to users or something any time there is an update with instructions for how to fix the bugs. Or, you know, figure out the bugs before rolling out the update. Overall I think the interface and the only thing I have never been able to successfully input is a manual log of a swim, which is recorded in miles and does not show up on the dashboard..Version: 6.0.9

UpgradeOne of the few apps I have upgraded and is working like I want it to👍👍.Version: 6.2.5

Great AppWorth the money for premium in comparison to other apps out there. Great integration only a little problem with the streaming to iPhone sync in that I see 2 entries for data when I use both iPhone and watch but maybe just timing - keep up the great work..Version: 6.5.2

Brilliant app with great potentialI was looking for app to bring all my health, workout, sleep analysis and monitor Hart rate in one - this is just exactly what I was looking for! Syncing with Iwatch activity ring is something other apps missing - my data is in sync if I am wearing my watch or not. Absolutely loving it! Plus for developers - app is not crashing, syncing is seamless and UX is nice. I am definitely going for premium version..Version: 4.3.4

Best app for running and cyclingI’ve tried just about every major running and cycling app out there and I must say that this is the best hands down. The main reason is the fantastic Apple Watch integration. The Apple Watch shows 6 metrics at once! I choose to show HR, HR Zone, Duration, Calories, Split Pace and Total Pace but you can customize the display and choose any 6 metrics that you want to see. Most other apps will only show 3-4 metrics at most on your watch. You can even have some of these metrics voiced every so often you don’t even have to look at your watch. The heart rate analysis you get is also top notch and I believe the best one currently on the market. After your workout you will see a map of your course, which will show what parts your HR was the highest and where you were the fastest. Like I said, it’s the best workout app out there and I’ve tried just about all of them..Version: 7.3.0

App keeps crashing after updateGreat app, but keeps crashing since latest update. I need help please.Version: 6.0.1

Like this app for pairing with Apple WatchSimilar to Garmin. I missed my Garmin app but when I upgraded to Apple Watch 3 I needed a better interface for activities that also work well with importing info from MyFitness Pal and other apps. Like the format but have a bit of trouble getting steps info even though I authorize for it to talk to other healthy apps for steps. Don’t know why. Hmmm... Other wise, I like the app. I just have to check other app for accurate steps info until I can figure out why it is not showing the steps. Really like the feature of calories eaten and calories burned and calories deficit. This is very important to me..Version: 6.5.1

Great appThis app is a great app but right now I can’t afford it even tho it’s a very well thought out app. Because I can no longer work because of my heart condition maybe one day I might be able to afford it but I think the app is very informative. I have a very serious heart condition and this app could help me very much but as I have said previously said at this time I cannot afford to purchase the membership..Version: 6.0.5

Great app!Update: After the app not working for a bit, I left the review, did a workout, and it magically started working. Kinda like a car not having problems as soon as you leave it with the mechanic 😜. I stand by this being an awesome app! I used the app for the first time on a treadmill run. I loved being able to have my heart rate and zones displayed live in front of me, and love how it integrates with the watch to log the workout. However, on a subsequent workout it didn’t log anything and now when I open the app it just shuts down right away. Hopefully it’s just a bug that will be fixed so I can continue using it!.Version: 6.4.0

Works with Apple WatchThe app. is one of the few that works with my Apple Watch, and this means I don’t have the extra complications of another heart rate monitor, wrist or chest. The data is always accurate, the only extra I would like to see on the next update is a heart rate recovery option to press at the end of exercise. Two minute timer to show your heart rate recovery. Otherwise a great app..Version: 6.4.4

This app is a MUST try!!!!!I have been using this app since it initially started and throughout the years they update features and it gets better and better. I’ve never even considered trying other apps because I love this one so much. This community is like a family and I’m giving my honest review about that so if I stopped using it I would be leaving my FITIV family. Your never alone on your fitness journey because everyone is so supportive and the app also supports you with features like awards for achieving your fitness goals and you can also post your workouts and achievements to interact with everyone. I recommend it to anyone who asks me what app they should use!!.Version: 6.4.0

ExcellentHaving used FITIV for approximately 4 week's for a variety of workouts and tennis my impression is that this App is 2nd to none!!! I have tried and paid for numerous fitness apps, which, have been very average compared to FITIV Pulse. Yes, there are features that I would like to see incorporated. However, these features are very specific to rowing, tennis and the Technogym Skillmill. If you are not satisfied with this App then perhaps you could always develop your own? I haven't tried the free version..Version: 4.3.2

Great when Training, Lacking when RecoveringOverall the data lead approach is great. The customization aspects are what sets this app apart from the rest. Creating your own workouts allows users to partition unique descriptions to heart rate measurements which gives them context. My only grip is this app only tracks “training seasons”. I would love if the app also allowed for BLE heart rate devices to be used to track resting and recovery activities. A more passive mode of measure for when I don’t have a specific training selected. The data from which could be used to calculate resting heart rate and sleep quality. And importantly provide a reference number to the heart rate values witnessed in trading seasons..Version: 7.6.0

Fitiv PulseBest fitness app for any type of workout. Highly recommend!.Version: 7.6.0

L’application parfaite pour le sport.Très bonne application pour le sport simple et facile à utiliser..Version: 8.0.5

Awesome AppI love the app, downloaded a couple years ago when I was just starting at the gym, I was in a spinning class and was worried about my heart racing too fast... (I know), I had not exercise for about 20 years and thought I can have a heart attack, this app gave me confidence to try harder every time since you can monitor your workout at all times and gives you the feeling of being in control, at least for my worries. In addition, the workout history is great, being able to look back at your performance helps you see the improvement over time, it’s awesome!.Version: 7.0.3

Best workout appThis is more than an app it’s a community ❤️🏋️‍♀️💪.Version: 8.0.6

Great appHas bugs needed to be fixed but otherwise, overall, a great app.Version: 7.1.3

Motivation in my pocketIve recently come back to FITIV after a long break from the fitness world, after using apple fitness for some time I decided to try FITIV again and now I haven’t looked back. 10/10 fitness app. The heart rate live monitor is perfect for HIIT cardio mornings..Version: 7.6.5

When it works I love itIts loses licensing info somehow if you dont use it much . But great when you are working out to see heartbeat etc streamed from Apple watch to iphone.Version: 5.2.0

Love itI love the simplicity of this app for tracking my workouts. The heart rate tracker is very useful in breaking down my HR zones (I use Apple Watch). Breaking each workout into Fitiv points so I can always compare how hard I worked in regards to different types of workouts, is also very helpful in making sure I maintain and increase my activity levels..Version: 6.0.9

Fantastic workout trackingGreat app. Gave some feedback a while back before it was rebranded and a wishlist, they were one step ahead and it was in the next update. Was offered a beta testing invite (which I missed!), but goes to show how proactive the devs are. Beautiful presentation and all the customisation for all the info you will ever want during and after a workout. I usually do boxing, so the apple watch didnt work out, heart rate monitor paired easily and it has been brilliant. Not sure about the value of a fitiv account when everything syncs in Apple Health over iCloud though..Version: 4.2.0
