✓ Great functionalityExcellent app. Ok so there are issues with pricing. So what. It amazes me that people seem to like to mess up sales of a good app by posting bad reviews instead of first contacting the developer to discuss things. No developer wants to con a few customers to make a few extra bucks. Of course they want to make money but if the app is good, which this one is, they would rather give the best deal they can and make as many people happy as possible. What good is it to jump on everything you don't like and yell rip off etc. Isn't it better to email the guy and try to get your point across. Reviews are to let other people know if the app is good or not. Let each person decide if the pricing is ok for them. If others see a lousy rating, sales will be affected, which is bad for everyone. So be smart and contact the developer first. How ridiculous is it to take stars off for a bug, unless of course it is there for a long time. People are mean. They get some kind of thrill to give bad reviews instead of being positive to get the app to be fixed. How ridiculous is it to give a bad rating and say you will give 5 stars if a feature you want is added. Email the guy and ask for it instead of messing up the app sales. ✓ The fifth elementAn AUv3 sequencer, Ableton style clip launcher. All midi mappable with a very intuitive ui. Added to that a great set of 'extras', midi cc editor, 'folding' piano roll for me are just so useful. Extensively updated and modelled on user use cases, this product wouldnt be half as good if Imaginando didnt listen to user requests and really work hard at creating a stable product. Great results. ✓ Perfect ControllerThis app is amazing. I bought all the modules and they were all worth it. Setup on windows is a bit hard but the website instructions are great and that is a windows issue as it doesn’t support VirtualMidi out of the box. PLEASE update this and DRC for iPhone XS Max and the notch. The unused screen space would be pretty useful even if it is just to add some extra padding between buttons and UI elements. I also wish you could have a dual keyboard with a higher octave on the top row. The keys end up way too tall on an iPad and it looks weird to me. I love the DRC synth on iOS and VST they make too, both apps have an amazing looking flat minimal interface. I hate when software tries to mimic the look of real hardware. Imaginando’s minimal approach helps me to focus on making music with less UI/UX distraction. The team also has great customer service. At least try their apps out as they all have free trial periods but they are worth every penny especially if you keep and eye out for their sales they often run throughout the year. Both of their apps helped me to start taking music more serious because I liked using them so much I kept coming back to them..Version: 1.3.2

✓ Really great replacement for touchableTouchable ableton live controller seems abandoned so really glad for LK. Great app and latest update has made it much more solid and really easy to use with Live. I have all IAP except chorder and I use them all, really easy to configure so can get to work quickly. ✓ Bridges the gap between two worldsSo glad I finally picked up lk and unlocked it, lk does a fantastic job of replicating a massive amount of abletons workflow when used inside of a host like AUM, paired up with a launchpad pro mk3 and a midifighter twister it’s a near perfect workflow for me.. In the short time I’ve been using the devs have been super responsive to feedback and suggestions and have implemented some of our wishes in a matter of days.. kudos guys, it’s very much appreciated...Version: 1.12.4
✓ Awesome! Some picky complaintsThis guy is the best of three of these types of apps that I've tried... finally one that isn't full of bugs! It however doesn't take into account some settings set in ableton, I have exclusive arm turned off in ableton, but this app arms exclusively any way. But it handles it fine when I do arm more than one track from ableton (but it turns my extra arms off when I touch any arm button in the app). It also ignores your default clip click action - I have it set to toggle, but the tool always creates clips in trigger mode. If you run ableton with default setting you won't notice this. Should be an easy fix for these so maybe the next version?.Version: 1.9.3

I can finally sit at my drum set and put down takes without having to lean over/stand up to press record and change scenes. ✓ Absolutely IncredibleThis app is magnificent. I am currently without any music-making hardware, so the MIDI keyboard and pads features are a godsend. The latency isn’t great over WiFi but with a simple usb connection from your iPhone/iPad to your computer it works beautifully. All the features of this app are amazing and I’m stoked to start working with it. I have a small iPhone so I might have to get an iPad just for this! The potential applications for live performance are already getting me excited. Perhaps the best part is the fact that you can pay for only the features you need, so you’re not buying a $20 app with a bunch of unnecessary stuff, depending on what you’re trying to do with it. This however looks great. I don’t use Ableton and just want to keep everything on the iPad. This works a treat. ✓ Auv3 clips and piano roll!They’ve actually done it! A clip launcher and piano roll all in Auv3 format. A few things could stand to be ironed out slightly for optimal workflow, and hopefully they eventually add midi learn for controller support, but this really does fill a major gap in my setup. ✓ Forgot about this excellent controllerWhen I upgraded to an iPad Pro 12.9” I completely forgot about this app. I originally had it installed on a standard 9.7” screen - can’t remember which iPad it actually was but it doesn’t matter. Anyway, it’s excellent on the massive screen. Handy to use with Ableton if I can’t be bothered to switch on everything and set up my hardware. If I have an idea and I’m at the PC, I can quickly load the app which syncs immediately and that’s it, control of Ableton. But as a bonus, there’s the additional purchases which I recommend getting if you’re into production or mixing at parties - especially considering how cheap it is. Defo 5 stars - hopefully it will continue to be supported. I hate upgrading to a major iOS version in case my apps don’t work so seems fine for the immediate future. Cheers !!.Version: 1.3.2

✓ Great product - some issuesFollowing the response from the developer which was fast, I will get a Ethernet adaptor and try wired. I took the option to purchase again but it allowed me to get a licence without payment (this took 2 goes so I hope I didn’t get charged) I have changed my rating to 4* as I really like the product, and am impressed by the fast response. I hope that the wired option sorts the connection issue. With reliability I’d happily rate this a 5* product. The grid is the best way I’ve found to control ableton. I’d really like it to reliable but... It looses connection occasionally. It also keeps asking for me to pay for things I’ve already purchased. Both of things destroy the creative flow. ✓ GREAT APP FOR ABLETON LIVE 10To the devs; my only request is to please add a 64 pad option in the pad module. And now for the good part of the review... I used to own an app named ControlR which was the perfect performance controller for Live. However the company folded or something and the app disappeared after I bought all the controller modules (quite upset about that). This app seems almost the same but with the added ability to control any class compliant midi device. I definitely love this. After testing LK I'm sold on at least 3/6 modules. I really wish other developers would follow this demo-model that Imaginando uses so that it doesn't feel like it's a gamble buyingn apps. I tested the apps (LK and DRC) and used all of the features for a limited time until the prompt where I decided. Last but not least, to those reading this and comparing to Touchable Pro; I would class LK as a performance midi controller (and then some), NOT a full interface for Ableton Live (like Touchable Pro is). ✓ Massive W! One of the last ones of its kind but rightfully the bestThis is a ‘tailor made’ app for Ableton Live and it works exactly as advertised. I was one of the ones mad about having to purchase every feature separately but then it immediately made sense. They let you try every midi controllers to its fullest and gives you the option to buy it. This idea is godsend! You won’t find this specific behaviour in that many apps (I don’t know about a single one). Now let’s talk about the features. Let me just say I purchased each and every feature set they had to offer even though I only end up using only half of it. Why? Quality! Aaand maybe I wanted to support the developers seeing how approachable they are, willing to help every troubled users. And the app, well every single thing just works! Or do they? Well, like with every other midi controller apps, this one also suffers from the occasional hiccups when connecting to your computer for the first time. For example: I can’t connect mine wirelessly anymore even though I was able to before iOS 16 came out. Other than that, this as good as it gets. You have nothing to lose, download and try it! Buy if you like it. Simple as that. You won’t find another equivalent app that can top this. And the devs are actual human beings who will reach out and help you if you face any issues..Version: 1.12.5

Let me reassure you this is a fantastic plugin and is game changing for hosts like AUM or Ape. Especially on iPad.
