✓ Great game, experience ruining adsI highly recommend this title. It's really immersive, challenging, and leaves you on your toes with anticipation. However, the ad situation is downright awful! About every minute, you get the same crappy ad, and most of the times, the ad glitches and you have to close the app and start over. This would be a truly amazing game if these bugs were removed and the ads were a tad bit more rare. Although the game itself deserves 5 stars, the flaws can't go unnoticed..Version: 1.0
✓ Not fun and not satisfyingThis game is purely based on timing which makes you feel rushed not only is there an hour timer for the whole game there's a different timer (the ghost girl) which kills you if she touches you. I beat the game and the story ending is unsatisfying. The story wasn't built up well either..Version: 1.1
✓ Stupid.This game is a trial and error game, but the thing about most good trial and error games is that they're fair, this game isn't. The problem is the camera doesn't show you the whole level which is a necessary component of most games like this, but that would ruin the whole mysterious atmosphere it's going for, and even that's poorly executed..Version: 1.0

✓ Worst game everOk so I downloaded this game a few days ago and forgot about it because it didn't look very appealing so when I went to play the game as soon as it opened and pressed play the controls would not work I felt like I was being tricked when I held down right it went left and when I went left it wouldn't even go anywhere 😕 I only got to level 4 and I couldn't even pass it the controls were not even working! ✓ PointlessThe game is 40 minutes of the same exact puzzles meant to punish the user. There are parts in the game that have no purpose but to have you restart the level. Once you know they are there you can avoid it, but when it takes 10 tries to even get to that point it becomes aggravating. AND THE ADS. I die 3 to 4 times while time ticks away because there is a full screen ad that takes 5 seconds to be able to skip. Horrible game. Cmon....Version: 1.0
✓ Controls not fine enough for obstaclesThe obstacles (*not* "puzzles", as another reviewer said too) require much finer reaction time and placement adjustment, than the controls allow for. The step size of the character's movement is too big for the world grid size. You cannot tiptoe up to a set of retracting spikes or falling Thwomp that you need to wait to cross: you will walk right into them, no matter how briefly you tap the movement button. You also cannot change where or how far you jump -- this is automatic, in the name of simplicity -- or your trajectory once you have jumped. The result is a platformer that would be better played by a computer: it is an exercise in finding the exact precise sequence of taps to get through the level, with no room for exploration, creativity, or recovery from error. I'm not a computer, so I didn't find this to be much fun..Version: 1.0

✓ Good but needs moreLevels can be extremely repetitive with the same sort of obstacles you have to face. Saying that, it also becomes a very frustrating game that after a few (or many) attempts you seriously have to put it down for a while in case you go crazy and throw your iPad. The storyline is an mediocre one you play a plumber who's wife goes missing. You then throughout the game piece together what has happened. Nothing overly special but a really good time waster that unfortunately you'll forget about once you have completed it..Version: 1.0
✓ DisappointingA quirky and nicely-designed game but enjoyment and intrigue leads to frustration as the last 10 levels or so become incredibly difficult and hugely frustrating. There is that desire for one more go, but for me that was more a case of being 2 levels from the end and just wanting to get it over with. I didn't enjoy playing the same level over and over about 20 or 30 times in any way. And all the sense of dread and intrigue quickly dissipates when you do finish the game. I was about 1 minute over the 60min time limit and got the "bad" ending, which doesn't explain why you live in a house full of traps - what is up with that anyway?! I've seen the "good" ending: it doesn't make me want to play through the whole game again. Overall a nice idea that's relatively well executed, but can't keep your interest long enough and quickly crumbles under the weight of its substantial flaws..Version: 1.0

✓ Simple but FunThe simplicity of the controls works nicely with the implicit mechanics and level design. There may only be left and right, but given enough running space your character will jump gaps and rebound off walls. Meanwhile stairs slow you down. Thwomp-like blocks and retracting spikes make for some fun timing challenges. I honestly could have kept playing this game even after the last level, as I think the mechanics that already exist still have room to provide more challenges. My biggest qualm is that there’s not much story to speak of. There are only a few levels with any story elements and they don’t provide much to go off of. Good game, though!.Version: 1.1

✓ GlitchGood game but it glitches out at level 42 when you go down the stairs. I don’t know if it’s just mine, but the character begins to float when it shouldn’t be. I used a “shadow guide” to see if this was meant to happen, and it’s not. I’ve tried restarting the game but it doesn’t change the outcome. Great game though other than that..Version: 1.1

✓ Functional, but boringIf it wasn't functional, it'd be 1 star. There is nothing in this game that impresses me. It's just 1 room to the next with some obstacles in the way. Not "puzzles," "obstacles." There is nothing mentally challenging or engaging about the level design. There is a problem with the hit-detection with the spikes, so it adds a layer of frustration to where it isn't difficult, but just annoying. The story doesn't hold up. I wanted to personally murder the player character for being such a tool. Not a single wonder on what's really happening? Why spikes? How big is this place? Can u break something to get out of here? He says NONE of that, but just stupidly continues through. That's not a relatable character. It feels like someone who liked rom hacks of Super Mario Land designed some of the levels or was advising people to make the levels really dumb. What I mean is that there is a level that kills you if you don't immediately when the level begins. That's not good game design. In short: I don't recommend this if you're looking for a fun or challenging game to play..Version: 1.0
✓ Terrible ending and finicky gameplay.The ending of this game was terrible. I was not a huge fan of the actual game which could at times be finicky and frustrating. However anything I might have liked about the game did not matter in the face of the ending. I now feel as though I wasted 40 minutes. The ending *spoilers* (roughly since I have absolutely no intention of replaying this game) is him finally getting to her, she mentions that he found her and that the key is on the counter, she maybe slips something in his drink, he mentions that he is the real prisoner here, he burns their photograph and then it switches to an image of him in a chair in front of a TV with what looks to be a beer and above his head it says something about him living happily from now on. Honestly it was a disappointing ending that I found to be dumb, pointless and aggravating. I did not have fun playing this game..Version: 1.0
✓ Not That GreatThe game has some good qualities but overtake is nothing special and has a few negatives. On the petty side, the voice acting is really bad and it kind of ruins some of the atmosphere. On more of a larger scale, the game is basically an average platformer with the slight twist of having to gain speed to jump. It is nothing new or exciting. Also, the spikes are very sensitive, making it more aggravating than it should be. Lastly, the storyline is very short and not worth the anticipation. ✓ Worth a playThe visual and sound design is great. The game can get hard and frustrating, but is makes victory over a level much more rewarding. The obstacles are a bit repetitive and the ending wasn't in tune with the atmosphere of the rest of the game...bit of an anticlimax. The game is timed and as it's a free game there ads after every few deaths. My problem is that the game doesn't pause while the ads are playing! Massively irritating. ✓ Absolutely PointlessThe game took around 40 minutes to play through, and I will never get those 40 minutes of my life back. The storyline was so lacking and it just made little sense. The game had 50 levels, varying from excruciatingly frustrating (not difficult, as you could always see what you needed to do, just frustrating because the gameplay is built to be frustrating) to excruciatingly simple, with no consistency. The game wasn't enjoyable or fun, it was simply a waste. And the ads were extremely intrusive. Every 3-4 deaths a full-screen ad would pop up, but the in-game timer wouldn't stop. So sometimes you would lose a few seconds waiting for the ad to finish loading, and once you exited the ad, the controls took a full second or two to start working again. Poorly designed, poorly executed, just the definition of a 1-star game..Version: 1.0
