✓ Punishing Retro GoodnessIf you are under 20 or didn't grow up playing NES games, this game will most likely be frustratingly difficult, especially in the later levels. For those of you who enjoy the 8-bit aesthetic and welcome the challenging gameplay, you'll fee right at home here. Very simple controls that may be a downside to some but I find I prefer the simple control scheme on a mobile platform. Overall a short and sweet game that is only marginally disrupted by an ad every 10 deaths or so..Version: 1.0
✓ GgIt was a very good game. I liked how the story kept you playing making you want to see the end. Only four stars because the way that spike dropper kills you so much. It had me tearing my hair out in frustration at times but it leaves you knowing that the mistake is always your own fault. A mistimed step, or misplaced jump. ✓ Great game!This game is awesome and easy and difficult! i love the simple graphics and simple controls. you jump automatically but you need to be running (moving continuously for a certain amount of space prior to the jump). i didn't have to use any of my "shadow guides" because this is a game of trial and error and i figured out the puzzles fairly quickly—which was the easy part—the difficulty was in the timing/execution of the plan! i played through twice, finishing the first time long after the timer read 00:00:00 and the second time well under that. i played without the sound on because frankly the sounds annoyed me. (i mean i can read and all so it was a little irritating to have a voice saying what i'm reading... and i beat it just fine with only visual cues and no sound effects.) no need to spend money on this game, you're given three "shadow guides" but again i never needed one. great game!.Version: 1.0

✓ Best ads Ever!At first, I was under the impression that this was an easy game with a dud timer. Then I realized that strategic use of ads adds an extra layer of gameplay! ✓ Great game!This game is amazing. It's addicting. Sure it is a short game that I beat in 3 days but it makes u wonder what's gonna happen in the ending. ✓ Manic Miner directed by David LynchThe controls are perfect, very cleverly implemented without the need for a jump button. Like the best games, when you die it's your fault, not the game's. The graphics are beautiful - ZX81-style re-imagined for the iPad generation. The ending is an anti-climax, but there's nothing wrong with that - not every ending has to have fireworks and boss-battles, just as not every movie has epic confrontations like 'Furious 7' - some have non-endings like 'No Country for Old Men' and the better for it..Version: 1.0

✓ Only one faultThe story is intriguing and captivating and the art style is beautiful but there is only one problem: The jumping system is hard to work with. I really tried to work it and give it a fair chance but it's the only thing about this game that is negative to me. Something else that bugs me is the navigational system but you can at least adapt to it. Five stars..Version: 1.0

✓ Yes pleaseSmooth gameplay. I actual enjoyed the average voice narration. The timer didn't make sense until beating it. I found it to be very addictive after checking where I ranked on Game Center. Fairly difficult timing based level builds. After a time or two through anyone can average a 12-15 minute game completion. The adds are a pain but quickly exiting doesn't burn much time. If you don't want to waste shadows I highly recommend just checking online for a level guide. Clean gameplay, simple, responsive controls. Nice experience..Version: 1.0

✓ Best Game Evaaaa!!When I first downloaded the game I was instantly intrigued by the character dialogue. ✍✍ It is basically a platform game but with a story behind it. 📕📕 The best explanation of the game would be that the the lil man you see in the picture goes on this journey to find his lost wife Heather who he can't find, and he has a timer. ⌚️⌚️ In the end, you find Heather and if you haven't run out the timer, then your in luck, but if the timer runs out BEDORE you find heather, then you'll have to find out for yourself what happens...😏😏.Version: 1.1

✓ ChillingBurn It Down is a truly chilling game. The idea of completing all 50 gruelling levels within the 60 minute time period is a fantastic one. I can understand people having trouble with getting used to the control system, however, after a few levels, I had picked it up perfectly fine. The control system is refined so purely around the game and getting your timings right. If you don't, you'll die. I think it's spot on. However, I really feel the ending was the main letdown. It felt like it was cut short (unless I had missed something?). Throughout the game you come across various non-interactive objects and artefacts which relate to the story. You gather the idea that your girlfriend may not be your “princess”, after all. Then, as you finally get to Level 50, meet the girl... It turns out it's not so bad. I didn't feel horrified at all. I had expected there to be some sort of epic boss/ex-girlfriend battle! There was just... Nothing. On another note, some Game Centre achievements would be nice, too! Time scores, low amount of deaths, interact with all the cats, etc - you get the idea..Version: 1.0

✓ Simple and funThe game looks great and plays well. It's nice and short and can be played in short bursts. You die a lot and it's a lot of trial and error but you respawn quick and keep going. Give it a shot. Worth the price of free that's for sure.Version: 1.0

✓ Intuitive gameIt's a very excellent game the reason I gave it only four stars is because it takes too much energy from my iPhone 4s. The phone heats up quickly. It's not very power efficient. I mean looking at the retro graphics it should take a least amount of memory and processing but it's actually the opposite. I understand game development is hard but at least they gotta make it power efficient. They should hire an engineer for this. I was worried at first that the autojump mechanic would actually be really hand-holdy, but it was actually built into the level design in a very creative way. Do I need to keep my momentum going to make a series of jumps, or do I need to stop right at the end and make a quick small movement to keep myself from overshooting and hitting a spike? Very well done. The story wasn't the greatest, but it earns some points for being maybe the only platformer on the App Store with voice overs. And personally I don't expect great story out of my platformers (I'm looking at you, Mario and Little Big Planet). It sure wasn't Braid, but it was good for what it was. And as for the micro transactions, if you actually needed them to beat the game you shouldn't be playing the game..Version: 1.0

Each room/level is a little puzzle, gradually becoming more complex and you have to learn how to get through the next door.
