✓ Slow AFOne time I tried to scan my 2015 VWGTI for trouble codes and it drained the entire battery. The next time I tried it took 35 minutes to get to 90% Any other app on the market would’ve scanned the car 10 - 20 times in that amount of time. ✓ Great app but too expensiveThe app works exactly as advertised, I was able to reset my service due warning and make some customizations I never knew possible on my Audi. Great job guys! However, the only reason I cannot give it 5 stars is because of the ridiculous yearly pricing! I find this app seriously overpriced. It seems to me that for a regular user who needs the app roughly twice a year to reset some service due warning it shouldn't cost that much! ✓ Works for what I want but an expensive serviceGot a new job much closer to home so now I’m only really doing ~10 minute trips in my TDI. So I got this app to monitor DPF load and force a regen when I know I’m on a slightly longer trip. First time I was a bit alarmed as it threw up a few warning lights on the dash, but successful regen and then they disappeared, so I find it useful. That being said, the subscription cost for what you get is way too high in my opinion..Version: 5.1

✓ It’s ok, but doesn’t worth its price!40 bucks for this is unreal, the app it self is okay. But for the price we should have more options instead windows/lights and door to be reprogrammed. My Audi A3 could be reprogrammed on how I want to lock and unlock, windows, lights (which was cool) but it doesn’t justifies the price! It does reads hidden codes (which is cool) but again 40 bucks nahhh I’d say for 9,99 it’s okay, and they do have this price but for a week lol (see they think that this thing worth like gold). ✓ Lost ProgrammingProgramming went smoothly for my 2008 Camry after paying $10 for a month’s subscription. A few weeks later my car suspiciously lost the programming after the subscription expired. I now have to purchase another month to reprogram my car. I asked for a refund to cover the cost of reprogramming but was denied. ✓ Does what it says, but only minimal usefulnessFirst, it works perfectly. For customization, though, while there are probably a hundred different options I can customize, most are options I could already customize right from the car’s menus. They also include a lot of useless options that nobody would ever care or want to change. That said, I bought it to fix two issues and it was able to solve one beautifully. I used it to shut off the engine auto-off when stopped at a stoplight. For that alone, it was worth the price of the module (and I accomplished that with the free trial, so no cost for the app). The other issue I was hoping it would fix was the unreasonably loud and long warning dings when I open the car door with the car running. Sadly, turning that off (or even adjusting the volume) isn’t an option. Either way, it was worth the cost for the one problem it solved, so I can’t complain. It may be great for the diagnostic tools, but I have no need for that, so I can’t comment..Version: 3.9

✓ Useless with a TPMS on a prius.Same message for months of trying multiple parts of the app. Get a message under TIre Pressure that says “ECU Not Found”. It also says this about airbags, seatbelts, A/C, window control units.. After $60 in purchases my problems are left unanswered. Toyota wants to replace all 4 sensors and computer for 1300$, even though they NEVER hooked a machine to it. Very frustrating. As for mods to the car, the change from multiple beeps to 1 beep was a HUGE deal for me.Version: 5.4.3
✓ Great kit, but…This is a great bit of kit, and has been great for diagnosing problems on my BMW, but there is no way to turn off the spam notifications for sales. If there was an option to turn off sales notifications it would get 5 stars, as I LOATHE having offers etc on my Home Screen. ✓ Subscription Fee ?First of all, I wanted to say that I was doing my homework before buying an OBD device to use with this app. I’ve almost decided against it. If a user wants the advanced features, there is a subscription fee that practically charges $10/month, $20/3 months, or $50/12 months. To be fair, I asked them if this app was based on cloud servers to perform its function, but they said it was to maintain and improve the app. Well, I have several other apps that serve various functions like for my thermostat, but they don’t charge a recurring fee. And considering that most users aren’t going to use this app very often at all, it’s ridiculous to charge a subscription. I was told that I could cancel every month if I don’t use it often, but then if I want to use it again, that’s another $10. Really ??? ✓ Good app but limitedCovers a fair bit of VAG specific coding, but also leaves a lot out. Got the free Pro trial and made all the codings that I wanted in a day. Cannot justify recurring annual subscription costs for something that’ll barely get used. ✓ I used to love this appThis app was great when you could do a one off purchase whenever you needed it. I’d service my car once a year and pay the $10 or so to reset the service message. Now the only option available is a subscription that renews every month or year! I hate this kind of sneakiness where they suck you into a purchase thinking it’s one off then they hit you up every month. ✓ It’s an impressive scamWhat they don’t tell you when you buy the physical hardware is that a yearly subscription is $67. Not sure why they think that their app is worth that much, when there are many other better and cheaper products out there. ✓ It’s ok.It’s ok- I’ve use this on a BMW 520d. There is just not enough options for BMW for £31 a year. £31 is expensive. A DPF regen option would be a great for BMW and the live date should be able to access BMW. (I have free car scanner that can do it) My biggest issue is that I’ve toggled (on and off) an Air Conditioning option within the customize section on the app. I’ve now inadvertently turned off my air condition system and it will not turn back on. ✓ Audi Q5 FY 2017+Bought this thing over a year ago, Audi FY 2017+ years as not supported at the time, which I knew and it was okay. Used it a few times during trial and emailed the guys about the supporting 2017+ Q5 and they said they’re working on it and stuff like that. ✓ Readiness monitors gone in latest update?This app has been pretty helpful in quick diagnosing of codes in my modified cars, I have a unit permanently in all 5 of my vehicles just so I can keep an eye on things in real time should the CEL ever come on. I have noticed since the last update the Readiness Monitor check that used to show up at the bottom of the Fault screen after doing a scan is now gone, which ended up costing me $21 for a Ny state inspection that I didn’t know the monitors weren’t ready for. I use it for my personal car(s), not as a commercial tool; there’s no reason to charge a subscription fee for this. And a one time fee for $10/month is too expensive. Bought their hardware, now they’re trying to get even more money out of you. Shame on them. Just greedy. There are better free options out there for diagnostics and much cheaper generic OBD2 devices. ✓ TerribleBrought this unit I have several cars from modern to slightly older Fiat BMWs Audi Pergout and Mini and brand new Vivaro van after plugging in the unit gave very little information about the cars just emission info and all functions where not available or supported very dissapointed really is over rated and badly advertised as a wonderful unit that you can access all options one of the cars the Audi it didnt even reconise the manufacturer. ✓ Very disappointed in the removal of WiFi adaptersI used to love this app, and was an early purchaser, but now will have to find something else. First it seems I can’t use the app without making some kind of app, and I don’t seem to be able to restore my original purchase anymore. The removal of WiFi adapters is really annoying though, and I can’t seem to downgrade, just recently this app was working fine with my purchases and my adapter. ✓ Too Expensive!As a (former) retail software developer, I understand why devs are moving toward subscription models. But $40/year is too expensive for what is generally an infrequently-used, casual-use app. None of the other apps I subscribe to, like RoboKiller and Overcast to name just two, cost anywhere near as much and I use them *far more often*. Overcast could quadruple its subscription and I’d still pay it because I use it heavily – hours per week. Its use:cost ratio is very favorable. But Carista, not so much. I’d probably use this a few times per year, that’s all. Very unfavorable use:cost ratio. Carista, as I understand, already discourages commercial use and “oversharing” by limiting the number of vehicles (by VIN) that can be tweaked. I’m fine with that. I just want to tweak our two cars, that’s all. But I want to revisit my tweaks occasionally. Offer a $10 or $15(tops) per year sub and I’m pretty sure the developer will see many more annual subs. I would sub for that. $40 is a lot for a seldom-used app. $10 or $15 isn’t. And I will not pay $10 for one week, either. That math is even worse..Version: 3.8

✓ DisappointingI purchased the OBD2 adaptor and used it once. It reported that all the running lights of my car were faulty, when they were all working correctly. It also failed to reset the engine warning light, produced an error internal to the app and requested that I send a narrative error report to Carista. ✓ Purchases Don’t WorkPaid £9.99 to renew my subscription to force a regen, which I have done before with no issues. But now, no matter what I do, the app will not register that I have paid. ✓ UnfortunateI brought a WIFI ELM, like it said in the app it works so- I thought why not, i got one quite cheap. After getting it and plugging it in the app can not connect at all, I get stuck on around 25% on the fault check, and don’t even get past 0% on the customisation. I’ve tried it in other OBD apps on the store and it loaded up fine and showed all the information. Could this be an iPhone X issue?.Version: 3.6.4
