✓ Nice, usefulNice, would be grate if you could put a title, and not be guessing of which one is which.Version: 1.4.2
✓ Runny penThe video looked great but it unusable! If you use an Apple Pencil it feels like you have a broken pen leaking ink. Apps like that makes me wish I could get a refund..Version: 1.2.3
✓ Apple Pencil sketching limitedWas hoping for same sketching engine as on Inko, but it isn’t. And with no demo version, no way for me to test without costing $8. At this point, I won’t use this app and wish I could get a refund..Version: 1.6.2
✓ Nothing special, try another app...I have tried Carbo out for the past day and a bit on my iPad and tried to on my iPhone as well, without real luck. So, though it set up easily on the iPad and the stench with Evernote was easy, the iPhone keeps switching off the attempt to synch with Evernote and will therefore be useless. Also, the actual handwriting recognition and taunted finesse of this app leave much to be desired. It can recognize pen on paper; but pencil, forget about it. If you need an app like what Carbo purports to be, look somewhere else. This isn't worth the money..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Poor interface, bad handwritingThis is one of the worst handwriting apps I tried, not even close to Noteshelf for actually writing or sketching with ApplePencil. If it had a trial version, I would definitely never buy it after trying!!! Userinterface and actual using is very uncomfortable on iPadPro 12.9, without actual writing and with something like tracing present, and only adding effects like blueprint look afterwards. ✓ Not greatOK app but does not seem to have the capability to warrant the price. Editing tools are rudimentary. Lacks color. Good idea but stops short of delivering on the promise.Version: 1.6.7
✓ Ok, but won’t be using it for note takingOk app, but lacking too many features for it to be useful for day to day usage. I was hoping to use the Evernote integration to draw up diagrams and notes for work, but the lack of features is making it difficult. Adding colours and more pencil sizes would be a great start and would start making it more useful.Version: 1.7
✓ Captured image quality not goodWhile this app has many nice features, the resolution of captured images leaves a lot to be desired. It is sufficiently bad for my purposes that I quickly switched back to Scanner Pro by Readdle. Perhaps they will improve this in future versions. ✓ Not yet readyThere's no edge-detection that's the standard for (free) scanning apps. You have to ponderously drag the corners to the edge of the document. For lined paper (who doesn't use lined paper for taking notes?) the app imports the lines and ties them to the text/images. This means that you can't lasso your text/images and manipulate them. You can reduce the line thickness when you first import the image to try to make the lines disappear but you run the risk of not capturing some of your written text/images. I should note that the beta Evernote sync does not work..Version: 1.0

✓ Needs viable export optionCarbo makes pretty good scans, but it’s crippled by the lack of a viable export option. Users need to be able to select multiple scans and export them to PDF or other file formats. Until that happens, save your money and consider this unusable for most purposes..Version: 1.6.2

✓ Organization of notes is lImitedYes, there are tags, but for large collections of notes, tags are burdensome as they are applied on a per page basis. If there were a way to export a group of notes based on tags, this would be better. As another reviewer mentioned, "export" options are limited. Why can't I work on the notes and then export an entire notebook as a discrete entity into some meaningful format, such as PDF? It looks like I'm going to have to dive into Dropbox and manually collate the pages into a notebook. Perhaps it's my mistake, because I assumed this was an app to help one "process" notes. It turns out it's really an app to store notes in what is, in effect, a proprietary format..Version: 1.4
✓ Basic scanning appPretty basic scanning app with some additional functionality that is either clunky or doesn't quite work. Want to scan notes into Evernote? Just use Evernote. Want to scan documents properly? Use a full blown doc scanner like Scanner Pro. Carbo does neither as well and has a few bugs and dead ends to sort out..Version: 1.0
✓ Not what I expected (but still good)This app is great. Currently, I'm using it as a cloud service to store all my notes for school. The only reason I'm giving three stars? Crashes. This apps experiences a lot of them. When you're inputting a large amount of things at one time (take school notes, for example) the app seems to crash on quite a regular interval, which is not ideal in any situation. Do take note it doesn't take the straight image, the images are run through filters that you can choose. Also, the app does not work well when using different writing utensils (pencil & pen) on one surface..Version: 1.2.1

There are better scanning apps, and there are better note-taking apps, all of which offer more robust organization and sharing options. Carbo does provide a simple, intuitive editing interface. ✓ Not usefulCannot name documents. Have to kludge tags and annotations to give docs names. Stuffs three obscurely names files into Dropbox for every image. Without a desktop client to reassociate the tags and annotation stored in the .json file, there is not much value outside the iOS app. Not a great app. Deleted..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Could be fantasticI want to love this app and for want of a couple of minor improvements its a five star app in waiting. The addition of a choice of line sizes for the annotations (the same thickness slider the app uses when importing notes would be ideal) and a colour picker and highlighter pen would make this app superb. ✓ Good potentialI would like to see this app continue development. It has a great concept, and has been useful for converting my hand written notes to PNG images for use with goodnotes. Its ability to write notes within the app itself is limited however and requires further work. I would recommend supporting this app purely because it's primary concept is working well, it just needs ancillary features which would make this one of the leading note taking apps. Eg. multiple page support, different sized pen, more customisation for page size etc..Version: 1.2.3

✓ Selection is too ‘intelligent’ for its own goodI opened one of the preloaded notes and tried to select an element to move. The app seems to randomly select other bits on the page that are in ‘close’ proximity. This is consistently inaccurate and makes selection very frustrating.
