✓ Highway Robbers...I purchased IGO Primo Western Europe, V 2.5 Last week I planned a trip accross Europe, in preparation wanted to update the maps for France / Germany and Switzerland. Download failed (even with an excellent Internet connection at home), and all my maps were gone…. After MANY trials of re-signing in, resetting, re-authorizing my device (iphone), result comes to the same message, "Regrant Failed, please purchase a license". I received no response from the numerous emails and feedback sent to the support center ... Rip off, highway robbers, I find this attitude inacceptable, this is supposed to be an open license, very frustrating experience. My recommendation is clear, stay away from IGO, go for the free and EXCELLENT navigation system "navmii".Version: 1.1

✓ I have to give a star, because they taught me to NEVER GO BACK !The previous versions of the program ‘iGO’ (strange that the Israelis are still able to keep that particular program) sometimes in complex devices/programs you need to keep it quick and easy to use, ESPECIALLY as a large majority of these GPS systems are inside cars, I need to type in an address and go, or find a patrol station...NOW! The new program has clearly never been product tested in the small crevices that car navigation systems have to deal with, all the buttons are tiny, and THEY - cause it’s one company that makes the program and another that take care of the main maps - which makes it a lovely day of back and forth by the customer when you’re trying to get a solution. On top of all that. The maps are substandard at best, they are NOT kept up to the Quarter they claim they are and when you do a little bit of digging and start writing down the version numbers of the various things you pretty much HAVE to buy (not going into it but you do) you’ll find out that the map (I’m obviously exaggerating a little here, as I’m not near my car, but you street map will be two quarters old and your speed camera location or your POI file is a couple of years old. As I said too, I called and called and spoke to 50 odd people, I didn’t even want my money back then (that’s changed somewhat now) I just wanted updated maps and/or maybe if it was me doing something wrong. ✓ Truly awful navigation appSince my hardware based TomTom stopped working I’ve been looking for a good app based sat nav and have tried most of the ones available. The IGO Primo app comes with a very mean 1 day trial and so I spent today using it wherever I drove. These are my thoughts: 1. The app is slow to start on my iPhone SE (second generation). 2. Searching is easy and there are lots of points of interest. 3. The maps are complete but quite cartoon like. 4. Route planning is quick. 5. There is no voice navigation. This might be because the voice navigation package is not included in the free trial, but it is still another £4.99 on top of any maps purchased. Surely voice is a basic feature of any vehicular sat nav? 6. Routes are odd. An example of this is the app directing me on about a 500 yard detour when only 50 yards from my home. It ignored 2 turnings including the one from the main road into my road. 7. There are no speed camera warnings. Agin this may by just the trial version, but do they really expect me to pay for the full version just to see if they work? 8. 3D view is just 2D view. I can’t see a difference. Overall I would say IGO are where TomTom and Garmin were quite a few years ago. They have produced a truly awful sat nav offering here. My app testing considers accuracy, speed of operation, smoothness of operation, and essential features and this app comes near the bottom of my results. The top apps to beat are TomTom followed by Google Maps and Apple Maps..Version: 1.7.1

✓ F*** iDrive1 star is given so I can drop a review. It's just disgusting that all these app makers try to base everything on iCloud crap. ✓ Waste moneyI bought IGO primo in the past. It was about $40. The latest maps was 2016. I did use the poi. But one day they told me sorry we are not supported. So the really important poi is gone. They told me we have new navigation you need to download it. The navigation was $39.99 plus the truck vavigation $20.99. So that was the reason why did not supported the Primo. They need more money. The new navigation maps up to date (2015) We are in 2017. I updated my phone and download everything again. But I dont find the North America maps and the truck maps in my purchased. ✓ Stops all audio, and only background on new iPhoneEven with IGO audio set to off and sounds muted, opening this app turns off any audio that’s playing. If I close this app restart Music app, Music audio turns off when this app is reopened. I never use this app anymore - without music, I’d rather be lost :) Weak work around: While checking out configuration wizard, the audio from other apps started playing again. If I change focus to a different app the audio cuts out again. If I run configuration wizard again without closing IGO, the volume of other apps only goes about halfway up and the volume fluctuates randomly. Now, new iPhone 13 Pro only shows background color and when viewing whole country you see sone mountain shading. There are no roads, place names, or any detail. When the app opens it says no maps are downloaded, but they show as installed. (deleted and reinstalled for 3rd time, still no detail)..Version: 1.7.1

UI is terrible: it took me several of those 30 minutes to find out how to get back to main menu after I moved and scaled the map. 🤯 Online search as a paid option? Seriously, at this time? Does Google not exist in your reality?🤷♀️ And the last thing for me was the impossibility to paste in the search field. Why? What’s the problem with that? Also coordinates. ✓ No continuityI've been a keen user of iGO Primo on my Pioneer App-Radio for a couple of years, it's worked pretty well thus far. I've just updated however, to an iPhone 7 and have transferred all of my purchases and downloads over to the new phone, including iGO Primo. I connected to my App-Radio as usual and found that it instructed me to disconnect and download the update and App-Radio support which I had already done on the previous version which had not proven fruitful at all. After downloading the update and all of the supporting maps relevant to my area (and paying for them I might add) I tried once again to connect my iPhone to the Pioneer and now it will not even recognise it. Really quite frustrated with the lack of continuity and have been misled into purchasing all of the supporting in-app purchases with no use for them. The software itself works fine on the phone, but I already had Google Maps for that..Version: 1.1

✓ Not A Second TimeIGo have already ripped me off once, having sold me the predecessor to this app, Primo, with all the bells and whistles, then withdrawn the traffic camera support, expecting me to pay for the full Europe version AGAIN, just for the privilege of having access to the speed camera subscription, when I had already paid for everything in the Western Europe version. Now they have rebadged it, and want me to pay yet again. I'm sad to say this, because it was a good app, with very clear directions, but the company are such a bunch of rip-off merchants with no customer service than I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole!.Version: 1.1
✓ 5 digit postcode, unintuitive and cluttered interfaceI use a few current NAV APPS and thought I'd have a look at this one, wish I hadn't bothered, in this day and age to only support 5 digit postcode input is archaic the interface is far from clever and I most definitely won't be using this anyone looking for a clever slick app should take a look at TomTom Go Mobile .... now there's a smooth and very clever SAT NAV APP for the iphone.Version: 1.0.2

✓ StevenI current use igo primo and love it. It told me I needed to upgrade to have it work for the next OS upgrade download and it will not let me install any maps for North America the older igo primo is still way better than this one 1.1.Version: 1.1
✓ Not long agoI use to sing this app praises. That was before the past 2 days of looking for a GPS signal. Well 2 days and counting . It’s a good thing that I still had a free app to use or I might have been in trouble since this paid one can’t seem to find out where I am . I mean honestly it’s a navigation app . I’m not saying I don’t care for the directions or anything like that it can’t even tell me where I am the phone is able to other app can . I would think that’s something that would work without fault . This use to be my default go to app.Version: 1.6
