✓ New Update Is HorribleIf you’re considering this app, don’t bother until they fix it. They did a major overhaul, and it is buggy as can be. It’s pretty much unusable. I am on an iPhone 12 promax with the latest updates and software. I run a construction company and use CompanyCam for project managers, Salesman, and Supplements teams. These changes are pretty standard. When a company starts to get some traction they get a bunch of know-it-alls in a room that try to improve these things, but they always make them worse. Literally every time so it’s no surprise to me nevertheless, if this isn’t fixed in the next update, I am going to move to a different product..Joshu676hVersion: 9.2.18

✓ Used to be BetterI really enjoyed Company Cam before their updates in 2021. They made the reports interface very unfriendly. Used to be able to click on images and have high resolution photos shared with customers. The reports numbering covers up the photo in the report. The PDF and online images in the reports are a pain. I've given feedback before and they said they would work on it but it hasn't gotten better since about a year ago that they made the updates..MattBMFVersion: 8.1.4

✓ It was not what I was looking forI downloaded it and quickly realized it wasn’t what I was looking for, I then deleted it and moved along. Since then I continue to get harassed with text messages and emails, even after I’ve told them I’m not interested in their product. It’s been a week or so since I’ve heard from them, and thought it was over, nope got a email from them again today! I responded that I’ve let them know several times that I’m not interested in their product, their response was “well we’ve removed you from our list”! That’s great and all, but why hasn’t it been removed the first several times that I asked for them to stop? Moral of the story, don’t give them any of your information unless you want them to continuously harass you!!!!!! ✓ Not a good solution for teamsOur roofing company has multiple salespeople as well as service techs. We do not want to give them access to each other's files. The only way to allow them access is to manually assign the file, but then the functionality is restricted to only adding pictures. The report functionality is restricted. If I'm paying for another user, that user should have complete functionality. Does not integrate well with JobNimbus as the assigned sales rep does not carry over to Companycam. ✓ This app is a scamThe marketing is slick, but as soon as you sign up it forces you to use a paid membership and then a sales person will literally stalk you every day to get you to buy in. ✓ Not what you thinkI was using this app and I liked it, (I had the free version) I was making projects to catalog any interesting national parks walkways or other nice natural spots to take pictures. until one of their representatives called me, and I didn’t want a subscription and I asked “if I have the free version can I still make unlimited projects? Yet now a few months later I open the app again and delete one of my projects because I got the address wrong and I wanted to make a new project with the accurate address and then it tells me that I’m at the project limit… how does that make sense if I JUST deleted a project 5 seconds after trying to make a new one? the company can control what u do at their own discretion even if u have the free version.AaaakdkfkemVersion: 9.2.48

✓ App is awesome pricing structure need workApp seems awesome to share photos. Unlimited storage is awesome. However I have a bunch of part time people and contractors or even consultants that I would love to use this app for if I send them out to look at a job. However at $20 a user it is not practical since some users may only use it once a month wish there just was a per photo fee or something. ✓ Was once a great tool, now a burdenUsed to love this app until app functionality deteriorated into extremely long lags. Photos often don't upload period and end up in 'upload status' page, but don't automatically load when you re-enter a good service area or even Wifi. You have to manually click each pending photo in order to upload. Spoke to support and they suggested deleting and re-installing. Zero effect. ✓ DecentApp works great would be an awesome addition to my company but the cost is WAY more then it’s actually worth 100 dollars a month to upload some pictures. ✓ Paid subscription? Neutered featuresBeware of purchasing and buying this app. It is $400 a year after the first year promotion ends. The major problem I’m having with it is that when I upload photos to it they will purposely neuter the image down to an unusable file size and resolution. They are trying to force you into downloading the pictures using the app. The problem with this is that the app is glitchy and will not work if you’re not near reception. Also if a customer send you photos you cannot add it to their file using high res. They make them 600x600 or so which is laughable. Steer clear. Just use the photo album option on your phone or use the JobNimbus app if that’s what you’re using for your company. ✓ Beware of spamBy far the most intrusive and irritating result of any app download I’ve had before. Multiple phone calls, emails and text messages for days since the download. They offer a free version but are extremely aggressive about pushing the paid version. For one thing, how about you give people a chance to try out the free version before being so pushy? ✓ Good Features (They sell your info)While the app overall has some good features and can be very useful in the field. After I realized they sold information such as your company email address and name. I will not be using this app or recommending it to anyone. I set up a brand new organization email specifically for the use of this app. The email has never been used anywhere else nor has an email ever been sent from it. And somehow I am emailed by name from a Fleet company wishing to reduce my fuel costs. There is no other way this company could of found this email. ✓ Maybe it’s me?I’ve been having a problem with the app lately. When I visit a job for the first time I take pictures but do not create a new project in company cam. Then when the customer accepts the proposal, I create a project in CC, and I used to be able to pull photos off my device, but not anymore. Now it seems that the only way I can get pictures into company cam is by creating a project, and taking the pictures while I have the app open. For what I do, it is a lot of work to create a new project for every sales call I go on, considering my closure rate is only 40%. In the past I could take a picture, but then if the customer approved the project three months later, I could simply add from my device. And finding the pictures was easy when I search by date. ✓ Locating projectsApp seems to have trouble loading projects. Sometimes need to refresh the screen or close the app depending on the device. Sometimes can put the address in multiple times when searching through projects and it blinks the address but will not pull it up. ✓ Poor customer serviceDespite liking the app for projects it is extremely frustrating and inconvenient to have to literally stop anything I am doing to do a chat for any and all issues. Had an issue yesterday that was discovered to be an issue on CompanCam side, technicians on a jobsite and No One to Speak to. After approximately 45 mins - 1 hour it was corrected. Now today another issue that was not addressed yesterday regarding billing and once again no one to call and speak to. So once again pulling over to start a chat….Mios3Version: 8.1.12

✓ Was willing to try but….I downloaded this app after seeing an ad, and thought it may fit my business needs. Unfortunately due to time constraints I was not able to test or look at the app for the first week. This company has incessantly called and emailed me to basically secure a subscription. ✓ Super buggyThis is the most bug ridden app I have ever used. Close your phone while having company cam open? Well forget about using it again or taking a picture without completely closing the app and searching up the job and re taking pictures. It freezes randomly all the time as well. It also will decide not to load anything at random times, and it’s not my data because that works with everything else. It’s the app, I’m reading some of these reviews and they have to be fake, great idea for an app but holy moly I love being 40ft in the air and having to take a picture of something and the app is just frozen..Roofing company1Version: 9.2.30

✓ A little buggyOverall the app is good. Has quite a few bugs though. Trying to zoom in on others photos and it won’t let you or does something your not trying to do. Also it would be awesome if you could get notifications for certain people that you select when they post a photo. Would make checking others work much easier. ✓ App Functions PoorlyThis is an amazing tool, however, the app’s functionality is frustrating. Using the app reminds me of using the Internet back in the dial up days. It’s very slow and often freezes up for several seconds. They are continually improving the app, but there is nothing quick about it. It is just too slow and inefficient far too often. I end up still putting a bunch of photos on my phone gallery because I know I can open up, and go through all the photos quickly while I’m on the go. CompanyCam requires a lot of patience unfortunately. The idea is awesome, just wish they improve how the app functions somehow.Appledust44Version: 9.2.14

✓ Mmmmm…. Free version is niceI downloaded this so I didn’t have hundreds of pictures on my phone. Googled if they had a free version and they have a free trial. Tried it but once the free version is over you have no access to any of your photos. The problem is when you download the “modified” version of the photos they are way to blurry and are impossible to use.
