✓ AMAZING!!!I stumbled across this game on an Apple TV and I loved it, I was hooked from the start, even though I could only play one level! (It was a demo version). So I figured I’d check if there was an iOS version, to my delight there was and it surpasses the experience on the TV. What I like most about this game is it’s challenging, getting first and earning 3 stars on time trials is tough and you have to be on your A game. Reminds me of wipeout due to the great graphics and speed of gameplay. After 3 days of playing I have completed EVERYTHING, 3 stars earned on each track (inc pro mode) and 1st in all races. Plus I came first in the championship. The latter pro races are very hard and at first thought it was nigh impossible but I persisted and succeeded! The last level. 😳 The global times are crazy good so for now that will keep me going but I do hope that the developer releases some new tracks (even if it costs) OR add more achievements (I.e % of impulse on certain tracks, reach X speed, photo finish etc. It would add more incentive to go back and play the tracks again. Overall though, very impressed!!!.Version: 3.0

✓ They get so many things right- VERY fun!I always purchase these Wipeout-type games hoping they will be fun. They usually fall short in the controls. AG drive has been my favorite for a while, as the graphics are really nice and it controls pretty well. But despite having somewhat simpler graphics, Impulse GP is just more fun to me. It controls better than any game in this genre and the boost system is well done and satisfying. GREAT JOB DEVS!! ✓ Wow!Beautifully done! Great sense of speed, with a unique boost system that requires good timing to get the maximum boost. Plenty of other bikes on the track so you have to weave through the pack, which adds more interest and challenge. Great graphics and frame rate, even on my ipad3. No slow up at all! Controls are spot-on. I've been looking for a great game in this racing genre, and while there are some good ones out there, they are all lacking in at least one area. ✓ Great - except setting up multiple usersUpdate: Just boosted to 5 stars on the account of their fantastic customer support. I had an issue on my iPad that wasn't happening on my other devices. I contacted them through through Facebook page. Not only did they respond quickly but they went out of their way to help verify what was happening and then to fix things for me. If only all companies were so customer oriented. Still loving this game especially on the AppleTV (whoever says that AppleTV doesn't have great games is not looking or simply doesn't like to play this game - it is definitely great) and my iPad. It is one of the few games that I keep coming back to. As was reported by many, this game can be great to play with pounding sound track, smart opponents (can be very irritating which is good in this case), beautiful and challenging courses and super speed. The Apple TV version is really amazing to play by alone or with 2 players. The only issues are how they setup multiple players on the Apple TV. Back when you only had the Apple TV remote and a second remote, then only one person could have the better bike (i.e. treated the second player as a generic with no ability to buy better equipment). With the latest version, they have added a really cool ability to use the iOS devices as another remote and now you can log in as a different player with separate bike/ability star purchases. BUT to configure which remote goes in which position on the screen and things like being able to disable the Apple remote (you still have to use it to start/stop races) is a nightmare experience. And there is no reason for it other than a lack of testing the multiplayer setup. If they can fix this, then this game is definitely a 5 star addictive trip..Version: 2.5

I downloaded it 4 hours and 30 mins ago and have barely put it down it's amazing. I have never been so hooked on a game so fast. I am amazed at how few downloads and reviews this game has had, I think the only reason is because people these days want everything for free but I was a little sceptical but tried it on a friends phone and then I decided to download it. ✓ Superb Game and Best of All - No IAP's.I am really enjoying everything about this racing game so far, the artwork & graphics, the sound effects/soundtrack and the intuitive controls. All of those things in my opinion, make for a top tier, highly enjoyable racing game. Yet, the feature that I adore most about, "Impulse GP", is its complete lack of in-app purchases and advertisements. I am beyond sick and tired of micro-transactions in general. But, to buy a paid video game and have it contain in-app purchases, well, it creates loathing and disdain in me like nothing else in life. So, I think if you want a very fun and competent racing game, you cannot do much better than picking up, Impulse GP.". As i said, though, the icing on the cake is paying one, reasonable price and receiving the entire game, as it should be. My sincere thanks to the developer of this game for having the proper morals and proper business ethics to not succumb to the greed-driven practice of using in-app purchases in this video game.
