No iOS 8 photo editing integrationI just assumed that you would be able to take a photo with the built-in camera out of other apps. But this feature was not implemented. It's surprising how many free apps to this, and I just paid for yet another brand new app that doesn't. I can't basically make any practical use of it. Disappointing..Version: 1.0

Great app, baffling design flawsOverall, the app is a quick and easy way to turn an ok photo into a great photo. But the editing window darkens the top and bottom for no apparent reason, making it hard to see what you're doing. The adjustment sliders also reset once you make your selection. So if you add some shine, then boost color and decide you have too much shine, you can't go back and take some out. You can only add more..Version: 3.0.1

Great except...What is with the default drop shadow overlaying the imported photo? It really throws off the editing process to have it there while you're editing. Can we get that removed in the next update?.Version: 3.0.1

DisappointingTrialled a photo that was under exposed, it still looked crappy. So to compare i used the inbuilt edit in Camera (iOs9 and 5GS) and it punched it up beautifully. I don’t want to feel as though I wasted my money so I will work on using the app to see if it can come up to par otherwise I’ll write it off and delete..Version: 2

Has great potential.Live preview of effects is a refreshing change. BUT it desperately needs an "undo last step button". Currently only has a reset button. Also light leaks and color overlays would benefit from the ability to rotate and flip their direction. Filters, light leaks, and color overlays would also benefit from blend mode settings which are found in most major filter apps. Until these features are added, I will continue using Pixlr Express as my default program..Version: 1.0

Nice app, mediocre output resolutionThe app is well designed, has a simple to understand interface, and plenty of effects for $1 investment. Aside from not having an undo button, my major complaint is the mediocre output resolution. The app saves files to a maximum of 3000 pixels on the long side, for about 6mp, or 3000x3000 if you have square images for 9mp. It really needs to be higher, at least up to the hardware limitation of 4096x for 11mp. Otherwise it is a good offering and well worth the $1 cost..Version: 1.0

Does not take advantage of the edit-in-photos featureThere are ways to apply filters with third party apps directly in the photo app under the edit option. I assumed this app would utilize this... Poor assumption. I have enough other apps with great filters. All I wanted was one that took advantage of this iOS feature..Version: 1.0

FIX BUGSThis app is pretty nice it would be nicer if the saved combinations actually worked. It crashes every time I try to access my saved picture effects..Version: 1.0.1

Good idea, way too much choiceThis application is a wonderful idea in that if can offer for some to be an all in one place to do textures, filters, light leaks etc but the amount of choices is just overwhelming. By the time you scroll through 800 plus options your mind is just overwhelmed with what you have seen, should have used, could have used etc..Version: 1.0

800 to many!!!This app is like going to a restaurant and trying to work out what to eat from a 10 page menu all in fine print... Way to many and too small! Save time, money and disappointment!! I Love their Camera+ app... Spend up on that app instead. Easier and more effective than this. Sorry guys... Very disappointing! :(.Version: 2

Freezes when sending or saving. I wasted $.App is ok unless one wants to send or save the photo by text, mail or to the Camera Roll. At this point the app freezes. I had to open another photo app then return to filters to adjust a photo again. What good is the app if after adding a filter one is unable to use the photo?.Version: 3.1

Buggy releaseProblems with using the app as an extension (e.g. the app doesn't account for the Photos app's chrome) and in its regular mode..Version: 3

DisappointedREVIEW 2:: OKAY I PURCHASED THIS APP 2 Months ago I STILL CAN NOT USE IT BECAUSE THE ENTIRE TIP OF THE SCREEN IS DARK AND COMPLETELY BLACKS OUT WHATEVER PHOTO I USE. WILL YOU PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE APP SO I AM ABLE TO USE THE APP I PURCHASED !!!!!!!!! ALSO SO YOU KNOW I HAVE PURCHASED 2 OF YOUR OTHER PAID APPS AS WELL! REVIEW 1::It might be halfway decent if the top half of the screen was like a black screen I can only see the bottom half of the picture I should have listened to the other user who had the same issue a while ago but I thought since I am running the most up to date ios9.3 I phone 6s I may not have that issue and or I figured since there were known issues of this with others that within the year of it being brought up the developer would have fixed it by now . So disappointed with the photo editors I have purchased lately none of them seem to be what they are supposed and the reviews are very misguiding Honestly the photo editors I have that are free are much better , Yes there are lots of filters but if you pay close attention to each package they all look the SAME ! You could change the contrast and saturation yourself and do a better job with the editor that comes with the phone . So very disappointed . I'll stick with Pixlr and Filtera Much much better and higher quality Waste of money .....Version: 3.0.1

Why is it so dark??This app is fine except for the fact that whatever photo you import it automatically darkens it. So when you apply a filter you don't really know what it will look like until you save it. I don't get why that is. It makes no sense..Version: 3.0.1

Under new managementLooks like it's time to delete..Version: 1.0.2

Beautiful Images BUT...I loved this app until recently. I have been unable to save or share photos. During the last few months it freezes up every time I try to save or share my edited photos. It is incredibly frustrating!.Version: 3.1

••• iOS 8.3.1 updated to Filters version 3.Running iOS 8.3.1. App updated to Filters version 3. Apparently not able to update to the proper, bug-fixed version 3.0.1 update of the app now, because 3.0.1 requires iOS 9. Others in the same boat! Dear developer, please remember, if you haven’t already, to appropriately remove the previous version 3 from the store if you don’t think folks on versions of iOS before iOS 9 ought to be downloading and running it, either after initial purchase, or upon _re-install._ Thanks much! ; ).Version: 3.0.1
