✓ Nice but frustratingI used this app last year to figure out how to arrange a room. I remember now that it was frustrating. At that time, I hadn’t paid, so the frustration was reasonable (imo). For free, I thought it was kind of cool even though the options were limited (in terms of furniture etc. options). Tonight, though, I paid for the full version. Then I went looking for instructions because I couldn’t do basic things - like change the floor from grass to wood. Or get the white to actually look like white. Or actually view the room from a non-aerial view while INSIDE the room. I could look INTO the room through the door, but I couldn’t “walk through the door” and look around from the ground. That stuff is annoying, especially now that I’ve paid. And if the other reviewers are correct about having to purchase each individual room “package” despite having purchased the “full package,” i will be even more annoyed. I’d like to be able to add my own furniture / accessories if there isn’t something similar. For instance, how about a sliding/“barn” door? and a dog bed? Different varieties of rugs (maybe something soft and fluffy)? The app has potential, but I see the developer doesn’t respond to the reviews, so it’s hard to know whether the feedback is even read. The lack of responsiveness just knocked my review from 3 stars to 2, actually..Version: 1.6.1
✓ Potential but no one at home?This was exactly what I was looking for so tried the lite version and liked it very much. I tried to buy the full version through an in-app purchase and thought it had gone through but my icon and apple store still say I still have the lite version. So far, so good. Two days later the app now crashes every time I add a window or door to a wall. The program sends an email to the developers when it crashes BUT the address does not exist and so it is returned undelivered. Where did the developers go? There doesn’t appear to be any support for the app. I am left wondering whether I should buy it again and start over but fear I will just loose another $6 plus all the floor plans I already have created. Writing a review appears to be the only way to contact the developers. I hope they will fix this bug (it had worked fine until today) and will make certain I have the full version. ✓ OkThis is pretty easy to use but no option to do multilayer floors only a single layer floor option, so hard to design a 2 story or multilevel complex. Unless I’m missing something, if so then it’s very hard to find this option..Version: 1.7.6
✓ The full version is not a “Full” version so beware before purchasing.The app is okay, not as great as I hoped. Unlike some other design apps you can only build at one level only. It would be nice if we could just change the level (altitude?) of the landscape (I have a one story house, but you go up steps because it’s slightly raised). The 3-d portion doesn’t really work as well as some other similar apps. I bought the “Full” version hoping to recreate my house and look at different ways to update it before redecorating, but they don’t actually say the “full” version doesn’t include everything. Not sure why they even call it full when there are more dlc packs. 🙄. Annoying because it says it has ‘everything ‘. I would have paid more for an actual “full” version with EVERYTHING included. There’s even packs that are locked unless you rate them (as I am now), or ‘sell’ your friends emails to them. Yeah, no. Very disappointed. ✓ Was good for awhile, then crashedI wanted to get a better view of a new apartment and start planning out arrangement for furniture. I’m not any kind of designer or architect. It was annoying that the free version only allows one room but I made do by leaving openings where doors would be. It is clunky and can be frustrating if you’re trying to place a small item or make a wall a specific length. It was all going fine and I opened it this morning to get a picture to share with my mom, but something appears to have happened after I last had it open. If I try to open that design, the app crashes. The file has been totally corrupted and is unretrievable. I can’t delete, duplicate, or add a new layout without paying for the app. I spent most of my sick day yesterday (a good 6 hours) getting this to a point that my mom can use it for reference (it’s her new place, she hasn’t seen it in person) and now it’s gone. My only option is to delete the app, re-download it, and start over or find a new app and start over there..Version: 1.5
✓ Great for Simple IdeasI’ve used this app anytime I want to rearrange a room to visualize layout options—it’s great for that. The extra packs available for purchase have a lot of objects to choose from to furnish the rooms with. There’s a color/texture changing tool that works for the building itself and any objects added in, but it could use some work—maybe more settings to adjust it. There’s two things I’d love to see in this app: The first, MULTIPLE FLOORS! I’ve seen this requested a lot in other comments as well. And second, lighting adjustment. It would be great to be able to change the position of the light, or have an option to add indoor lighting that works..Version: 1.7.1

✓ Good app, but some issues...Hello! I’d like to start by saying that this is a good app for people who are trying to figure out how you want a room to look or something, but for someone like me, who is practicing interior designing/ architecture, etc. there’s some things I would like to change. First off, you have to pay 5.99 to get the “full version” which allows you to make more than one room. It annoys me that you can’t make more than one room without paying. Also, if you purchase the “full version” you still have to pay for all of the other packs of furniture, etc. In my opinion, this isn’t necessary. I’ve been trying to find an app like this, and, don’t get me wrong, it DOES work, and it’s a good app, it just doesn’t work in the way I’d like to use it. Furthermore, maybe a future update would be making more decorations and little things to add to the room that’ll make it look more realistic and home-y (if that makes sense). ✓ So Far Only OkThe app is fine for basic room planning. It did take me most of a day to lay out my whole house. And that was after I paid for the full version. Once I paid the measuring became a bit harder. There is no way to make it exact, you can’t type in the measurement. Also the snapping guides are not friendly. It does give me a basic idea of what I was looking for. Spatial placement, what I actually have room for. However, I am disappointed. I paid for the “full” version. Which only gave me the ability to look at the samples in 3D. There are these packages that cost extra. That would not make the “full” version very full. I can’t even change the color of the walls or put flooring down. Furniture is extremely limited. I highly suggest the developers of this app change the marketing. 2D Version, 3D version with multiple expansion packs for additional fees. There currently is no full version. An actual full version would be nice. Pay one fee get it all. BUT - the samples should be fully viewable in 3D so you can what you are paying for. Just be transparent please. Thank you.Version: 1.7.6

✓ This app has the potential for so much more.I decided to start building my dream house and this app is really good for it. I like how it is simple and easy to use for someone that has zero experience with building a house. This is a great app however it doesn’t have some things I want. There is no option for a second floor. I put in stairs that lead to nowhere. There is no roof design option. There is no option for installing utilities that could benefit home owners (solar). I would love it if they created expansion packs that included placing electrical outlets. There is five projects that you start with, and you cant even USE four of them without having to buy things! ✓ Just OK...It works fine for conceptual layout, BUT it needs some simple improvements. For example, there's NO option for a sliding door? That's a very common design element! In addition, there is not an obvious way to design a deck in the outdoor elements. I had to build a “room” with invisible walls and add flooring, despite purchasing the outdoor add-on. Last, it was unclear that buying the "full" version only allowed me to save more than one design; it made it look like there was way more included for the fee. ✓ Paid yet packages disappearI really loved this app, it was easy to use so I paid for the full version. I then paid for added “packages” which were glitchy- it took a couple of days for them to be accessible, and some didn’t show previews. Worst thing is now they have “disappeared” as in, all the designs linked to any paid package that “crashes” are now GONE. It’s frustrating because we pay money for them. It crashes often and gives the option to email the developer which I have but nothing comes of it. Overall, I enjoyed using this app it was helpful and fun even! But not when the things you paid for just randomly disappear leaving your designs empty. And the “Restore Purchase” option is not working. ✓ Access has disappeared-projects lostThis was a handy tool for plotting out and designing rooms and ground floor plans. I thought it may be helpful to show our architect to give a good idea of what we are looking for in our build, however, the plans seem to have now disappeared and every time I open the app I am asked for more money. ✓ Most terrible design app ever, must be erased!I am a high school student who downloaded and used this application several times. The fatal disadvantage of this app is that if you experience it for free, you can only make one room with four walls, and beyond that, you have to buy the Lite version unconditionally to continue the design, so you feel betrayed after you notice that it was developed to steal money from users. ✓ Good idea - but there are issuesPros:great to be able to import house plans or photos to trace a new plan directly into this app. Very intuitive and easy construction interface. Cons: trying to move an existing window on a plan leads to the app and then the ipad to freeze completely for up to a minute. Extremely frustrating when trying out different house layouts (these freezes don’t just occur when moving windows either). Also, the slew function is a bit basic and coarse. It never feels like you’re actually in the room (you cannot zoom in enough to get this sense of presence) and you cannot just rotate on the spot - you always seem to translate across the room leading to slipping into walls and out of the room you’re trying to visualise..Version: 1.4.2

✓ Technical difficulties....Updating my review. Glitchiest app that I’ve ever had. I LOVED this program. Downloaded all the extra packs to have more options but after months of happy designing suddenly things started to not load. Different wallpapers or flooring options were only showing up as gray squares under the various menus. To try and fix this, I deleted the app and redownloaded. Now it crashes CONSTANTLY and they all show up twice. There are no longer accurate categories. I have wood floors, fabrics, and many other things in tiles. And I can no longer search by item so I spend so much time flipping through everything to find what I need. ✓ Needs workImmediately upon building the perimeter for the first floor there is not enough room visually. Yes you can drag wall to make longer but it doesn’t zoom out enough to get the overall picture(birds eye view). It needs zoom ability to full boundary view. Also when dragging walls to length, you cannot see the length you are achieving unless zoomed in. A bubble at the end of wall being moved showing length while being readable at any zoom would be a win. Also possibly make the wall lengthening split sides from middle to react where the finger is so that you can lengthen the lines without your finger being on the tip of the line every time(more options). As it also blocks the view if you want to match tip of wall being lengthened with a grid line and or the possible numbered length bubble. These issues immediately created a feeling of wasted time and frustration with use. So within the 2 minutes of trying it out, I will now delete it based on the crummy UX(😔). ✓ Hoping updates will comeThis app is nearly perfect, the concept is the best I’ve found. The controls, moving around moving prices can be very glitchy and sensitive which gets really irritating at times. I really wish you could change indoor wall heights and I’d love to be able to add sidewalks, porches, change the landscape etc. and be able to add a roof, more construction and more architectural elements like being able to build a 2nd floor would be cool This is kind of my fault but I was a little irritated that when I paid the $6 for the full version it wasn’t super clear that you didn’t get any extra elements and have to pay more for each package you want. ✓ Decent app but needs workAside from the in app purchases, this is the best, cheap floor plan app that I’ve found, so there’s that. It also has some pretty cool features for the price and is easy to use. The not-so-good? The additional packs can add up, and you miss out on some great design options if you don’t buy them. I also received an error with one of the pack purchases, and have yet to get it resolved. As mentioned in another review, I haven’t received a response to my email. Poor customer service just adds to the frustration. There are also some annoying features of the app, mainly when trying to move objects around. And I’d love to see the ability to add a roof and other exterior home features. If you want a cheap, easy app, this is perfect for that, but just don’t expect too much..Version: 1.7.6

✓ Good, could be great, but?I wanted to give this 5 stars, but two issues are bugging me. 1. When I try to share by email or create as pdf, I get a message telling me I must first have an email account. I can find no way of doing this in the app. I have resisted my email to get a free add by sharing it with a friend, so not clear as to what more I can do. 2. I purchased the outdoor add on. Disappointing. I can not simulate paving or other outside surfaces. Just grass. Not the impression the advert gives. As for the app itself. Despite my above issues. It is very good and worth the money. Simple, intuitive and effective. I has been very useful designing and visualising my planned layouts in 3D. Also, been good fun. I have enjoyed playing about with it. It is like a game that serves a purpose. ✓ Hidden CostsI bought the full version of the app as I wanted to better visualise my house being built. You’d have thought buying the full version would get you access to simple things like sliding patio doors, but no, that is in one of the upgrades you then have to buy. So on top of the $9.99 you’re looking at $2.99 to $5.00 for the various add-ons each. It is also very fiddly. I put a wall down and when I try to put in an intersecting wall it changes the length and you can’t rectify that. What would be very useful would be a box where I can enter the length of the wall. If you want to do detailed plans, look elsewhere this is not the app for you. If you want to get an approximation of what your future house may look like it may work for you, but be prepared for a lot of frustration..Version: 1.4.2
✓ Update erased 2 years of 25+ floorplansAs a realtor and design professional, I’ve loved this app for creating quick floor plans and ideas for clients, as well as for my own space. I would gladly have paid a fee to purchase the use of the app with how much I’ve been able to use it until the update installed and all of my plans from the last two years disappeared. This was devastating, as I had measured out every room of my own property, and client properties, recording it all here. I would pay a fee to purchase this app, but after this experience, I don’t trust it to keep my plans safe. I created a new plan to test this and after closing the app, it also disappeared. When I attempted to ‘restore purchase’ and pay a fee, the App crashed. This app has run smoothly for two years and is super glitchy since the update. This is beyond frustrating. Please restore my previous work and fix the glitches in the new update. I’ll leave a higher rating once I’m able to get my work back and know that my files are secure in the app. Otherwise, I advise others to run the other way. It seemed to come through fine until I checked it out and the only change is that I can now save a plan image or pdf, it has a restore purchase on the other packs that the full purchase should covers so I tried this, doesn’t work and locks the app, so no extra tools as advertised, nothing else! I have emailed to ask how this can be resolved but no response! So be very cautious about buying this app is my view. ✓ A little disappointingI Paid for the FULL version just to discover that isn’t really a full featured as there are packages of items that are sold as extras still after your full purchase. Amazingly, even as you pay for such a full version, the app still making all your pdf exports come horribly branded and ad-like links to the app. Basically your files and prints look like it has been generated on a shareware or adware app of the cheapest kind. Another thing is that nowhere you can find out prior purchasing that there is no way to add extra floors ( levels ). Because you need to pay for the full version to be able to add multiple rooms first, only then you see those can only exist on same level. No wall hight adjustment and a few other annoying things that would be OK to live with, if not by the above. App could be better value with a few adjustments including on the mindset of the developers. Will change my review if there is an update to address some of the issues..Version: 1.6.1

✓ Any CAD professional will find this uselessI’m a CAD professional and found this app totally frustrating. You can’t get accurate dimensions and it tries to dictate how long your lines can be, which was annoying as I was trying to draw an existing irregular shaped room. For anyone who wants to draw a room to the correct dimensions quickly avoid. For anyone who doesn’t mind your rooms 10/20mm out knock yourself out..Version: 1.6.9
✓ Would be great if it didn’t crashI like this app as it’s very easy to use. We’re planning and extension and has helped me configure the layout within our overall dimensions. Using the assets is a great way to get proportions. However, I had to pay to do internal walls, and after that I discovered the app exits when I drop a door or window on a wall. It offers you to send the crash report using the Mail app, but they all bounce. So they haven’t configured a way to receive the crash report emails. Very frustrating. Would be 5 stars if it didn’t crash. Also, the PDF export is underwhelming. Not that helpful to share with family..Version: 1.4
✓ DisappointedI have been using this app for months now and have loved it! I payed for the full version and even bought all the packs so I could plan things accurately. I do interior design and building plans and this helps to visualize everything easily. The only issues I had with it was some of the colors and textures were messed up with the newer packs. All the wood, fabric and wall paper textures from the newer packs had shown up in the tile section. It made it a pain to navigate through them but wasn’t a big deal. But recently I downloaded the app onto my phone so I could have easy access to it on the go (before it was only on my iPad at home) and all my plans showed up, but there were objects missing and it said I hadn’t bought the packs. So I just figured you must only have access to everything on one device. Which is annoying but whatever. But then I went to get on it on my iPad and it said the same thing! Now I don’t spend money on apps. Ever. So this is extremely frustrating to me and I really hope someone gets back with me to figure it out! I’ve emailed with no reply. I wish it had the option for an upstairs and roof and more plants and landscaping options. An easier way to navigate through the furniture would be nice too. Category’s inside category’s. (in the living room category have a couch category and a light category, etc. ) the search option is nice but I think this would be good too. Also triangle walls for stairs. ✓ RubbishYou alter one thing and it alters another and you can’t alter it back. you can’t set a wall length and keep it. You can only move things in one direction. There is a minimum size for the length so when I want to put a 190 x 440 pillar in the kitchen I can’t but before I find that out it has altered all the sizes in the kitchen, width door jam sizes etc that can’t be altered back. Wasted a day and will now delete it..Version: 1.6.6
✓ FIX THE ISSUES WITH OBJECT ADJUSTMENTGiving this 2 stars because of the fact that trying to move objects that aren’t large or trying to adjust their size is near impossible. Unless it’s the size of a bug cube or larger you struggle to even select the object. Then when you do, the plan moves and the object stays still. Here’s a hint for the developers, once an object is selected have that lock the plan into place and only allow the object to move..Version: 1.7.1

✓ LimitedI was messing around with the free app and thought it was pretty cool. I figured the limitations were because I hadn’t paid money. So I purchased the whole package, it opened up maybe a handful of options. I was a little disappointed because spending $6 I thought I was going to get a lot more than I did. So I thought maybe purchase a room package so I did….again it opened up a handful of options. I can’t build a second floor, you can barely do exterior designs, you can’t do porches and extensions or roofing…the limitations are ridiculous. Simple room design with simplistic furniture and material…sure…Don’t waste your money. Keep the free version if anything at all. Spending money on this app doesn’t get you anything. I requested a refund but it was denied. Hoping to save someone else the pain of spending money on this app..Version: 1.7.3
✓ Most frustrating and un-user friendly app going!!!This is the most un-user friendly and frustrating design app by far! This app needs updating fast there is no input for measurements and it’s most unresponsive and frustrating thing. It has so much potential to be a great app and the end result looks very good but getting there is nearly impossible. I gave up after to much wasted time trying. ✓ Mediocrity at it’s BestIt’s the best that’s out there, but being the winner out of a bunch of losers isn’t that good. The app seems more like an interior design tool than an architectural tool. I’m a licensed engineer & an unlicensed architect (I do both but only went to school for one). I’ve paid for the full version, and would pay a lot more for an even better version. This is a great tool for initial design of side projects, stuff you design when not at your computer or drafting board. Pros - Flyaround navigation for interior design & painting tool is very quick and efficient. Preloaded furniture & sizing tool makes laying out interior items easy. Cons - The scale of the drawing grid is not shown, and can’t be changed. Drawing walls is very clunky. Inserting pre-drawn rooms is not possible, and moving rooms is too. There is no save button, and it is very easy to lose a lot of work. There are very few exterior finish options (clapboard, shingles, siding all missing). Library is 10% of what it should be, very small. No multiple floors. No roofing. No porch, railing, deck, patio options..Version: 1.5

✓ Waste of timeWanted to do a very basic layout and for a change thought I’d do it in an app. It’s very slow, awkward and not at all intuitive. Kept thinking agh why can’t I just enter the number here, or set that , or now I’ve attached that wall I can’t see the inside measurements on this side. Then if u want to connect up more than one single box it stops you and asks for money. Ha ha ha, I wouldn’t pay for this. I thought maybe it would get better as I got used to it but it didn’t. ✓ Fun but impracticalI enjoyed using the lite version so paid for the full version BUT there is no obvious way to save your work and it randomly saves an earlier version whenever you go off the page so losing all amendments made. ✓ Pretty goodThe reason for only three stars is that 1) The lack of items that you can pick for the garden, wall trellis would be good, hedging, small shrubs. 2) The fact you cannot have different wall heights 3) l didn’t know if the direction of the light could be changed 4) Could see any where if l could have a radius wall 5) Other packages have people and animal icons which would give you a better sense of space. Positives: 1) Easy to use, mastered it basically in half an hour. 2) I like the way you can change surface textures and colors. 3) I like the way you can select size change of all items..Version: 1.4.1
