BusyCal: Calendar & Tasks for Negative User Reviews

Terrible appSupport told me I can’t add events. What’s the point of a calendar when I can’t put events in it. I’ll go back to the calendars app which is much more user friendly.Version: 4.6.2

Please refund!Upon purchasing the phone version, I was not informed that additional charges for the Mac version would be required to access the app across both phone and computer platforms. This lack of clarity regarding the need for separate purchases across devices feels like a faulty promotion . Please refund ! Unfortunately, I was unable to find a direct support email to communicate this issue privately. Therefore, I am sharing my concerns here in the hope that you will address this situation promptly and rectify the misleading information provided to users..Version: 4.5.2

Weather Underground gone!!You do realise, developers, that Dark Sky only serves the US and the UK, don’t you? Obviously, there’s nothing you can do about Weather Underground removing service, but you should look for an alternative that is moderately accurate for everyone, not highly accurate for a minority (no matter how large a minority that may be). Otherwise, the weather function is non-existant for most of the world..Version: 3.3.9

Relies on a good syncWas having problems using this as a todo/reminders app as it did not appear to sync. Connecting via “reminders” relies on the Apple iOS system doing the updates rather than this app so you still need to run Apple reminders to transfer data. The work around is to NOT connect to reminders but to connect using an iCloud account so this app communicates directly. The calendar view is nice though.Version: 3.5.97

Beyond DissapointedI have busycal on my computer I pay a ridiculous amount of money for it. Tried to get it for my iPad and made me pay again I did but I CANT sync my calendar from my computer to my iPad. I wasted my money on an app that I already pay for and it won’t even work for what I need. I want my money back for the iPad purchase. I would give zero stars if I could..Version: 4.1.2

Great calendar appI really like this app, nice design, easy to use. The reason I am not making it my go to calendar is the vertical scrolling of month view on iphone. It’s too easy to scroll past the month needed. Also, if there was an iPhone version of busycontacts it would make the high cost of these apps worth it..Version: 3.3.10

Disappointed looking for helpI downloaded this app on my Mac and paid a bunch to get it. I really enjoyed it on my Mac but wanted all my events and lists on my iPhone as well. I had to repurchase the app on my iPhone, which I did, then went through a hassle to synchronize my iPhone to my Mac through iCloud. Disappointed to say that through all the work and money my calendars still won’t sync.Version: 3.16.7

Things to doI have used BusyCal for iOS since 2009 and the desktop versions for a similar time. It’s great except for a few niggles with iOS version. Always when creating new events on iOS it gets the day of the event incorrectly. It’s always a day out in-spite of me clicking on the day directly . It’s a day before. More annoying is all options for a repeat except fortnightly. It’s available on the desktop version and is not a custom repeat which the iOS version doesn’t do. My rating is commensurate with this missing feature..Version: 3.5.104

Lost everythingLost all information Will be going back to pen and paper never again will I trust this app.Version: 3.7.1

No templates, no widgetsI don’t understand why this app has high rating. Yes, it looks nice, but it’s not practical at all. You can’t create a template because there is no option for this and what’s more annoying is that there is no widgets option. Come on, we are on iOS 14 now and no widgets. No, I’m requesting a refund and only refund. I’m so angry. There is no even trial period option. Come on..Version: 3.5.107

Latest version keeps crashingUpdate again: Developer said try latest v4.0.3 and I updated the app. I created a test event and typed “Test will it crash” and as soon as I typed the last “h”…the app crashed. I will email them, as requested. ———- Update: I just downgraded it to one star because I can’t leave the app open for 10 seconds without it crashing. Just tried to enter a new event, and before I could save it, the app crashed. Tried to edit an event earlier, and before I could save the edits, it just closed. This app right now is literally unusable, except to quickly look at the schedule before the app closes itself. ——— The latest version keeps crashing. If I create a new event, a few seconds later, the app will just close. I just tried to duplicate an event, and when I tried to edit the duplicated event, the app closed. If I just open the app to view events and scroll a few days, it will crash. if I edit an event, it will crash. If I try to create a new event on a future date, the app will crash. Please fix this..Version: 4.0.3

Few tweaks necessaryIf only the app can toggle toggle light/dark mode and allow useful home screen widgets I would fully switch from my current paid subscription calendar app to BusyCal. It has a lot of potential..Version: 3.6.2

Was working great.....?Crashes everytime 1 second after opening since 6pm today.Version: 3.3.7

Avoid avoid avoid!Terrible. Not user friendly. Wants to sync in with other apps or emails. Don’t use if you just want a user friendly app to manually enter info. If your super tech savvy maybe this will work for you, but if you’re more after a basic calendar function try anything else!.Version: 3.13.2

Badge Icon Doesn't ShowIve used BusyCal on my MacBook for years and synced it with the ToDo app by BusyCal until recently. The ToDo app seems to have been removed and replaced with BusyCal app. It's a decent calendar/to do app but the badge icon doesn't show at all. I've tried changing settings on the app and on the iPhone itself with no luck..Version: 3.0.6

Not as good as the is appNot as good as the os version, editing and creating events involve navigating a fiddly UI across multiple tabs. Bit of a disappointment when the os app is so good..Version: 3.8.2

Google cal stopped workingSync with Google calendar stopped working suddenly. Tried to remove and reload BusyCal and double checked password to no avail. Desktop app is working fine but IOS is clearly buggy..Version: 3.2

Refund please!!I t doesn’t even show days of the week in the week view!!!! Just the numbers!!.Version: 3.3.8

Needs an updateThis is a great calendar program, but the developers need to look at one crucial thing - to be able to create an appointment by placing your Apple Pencil / finger at a spot in the calendar where you want to create a new appointment rather than having to create it via the ‘+’ icon ... This may seem like a small thing - but it does impact on quickly being able to create an appointment for people while visually being able to hold the rest of the day / week’s appointments in your visual field. I would give this a five star rating if this were possible..Version: 3.3.4

Not worth the effortThe app is finicky at best and requires reinstallation to reinstate some features after updating. With the app specific password requirement it becomes almost impossible to get the app to work properly. Lost data and poor performance is constant. Go to another app if you want reliability..Version: 3.8.3

BusyCal preferred on Mac but iOS doesn’t offer tasksMac version offers both calendar and tasks (todos) for google but the iOS app can only handle google calendars. It doesn’t offer direct connection to google tasks. I would have preferred using that that relying on the iOS sync plus it enables better separate those lists personal vs work..Version: 3.5.1

Tags Sync?Purchased the app for its ability to sync tags/categories. Don’t see tags nor do I see tag colors applied. Also, where is the “contact support” link?.Version: 3.7.6

Lacking essential featuresThis product does not support colour-coded tasks. Their website has docs on how to use this feature, but you will be surprised to find this is macOS only. Feel a bit cheated tbh - that was the killer app I was after..Version: 4.4.3

Upgraded Reminders and SubtasksI was so very excited for this app as it seemed to be perfect for what I needed! Calendar with Drive Time - check. Integrated reminders/tasks - maybe not. It took me a bit to figure out that I could not sync my reminders because they were “upgraded” with the iOS 13 update. A bit surprised as this wasn’t an issue in other calendar apps I tested. No big deal, right? I will just recreate them. Buuttt....you can’t create a task with subtasks. This here is pivotal in my organization. Otherwise my 30 individual tasks become cluttered in appearance and mentally overwhelming and then nothing gets done. Overall very disappointed, especially with the $4.99 price tag and no free “try-it” option. Nonetheless, I intent to keep it and look forward to improvements. Bare minimum he ability to create subtasks..Version: 3.6.2

Please add iCloud syncSeems ok so far but slightly frustrating that there is no option to sync settings and accounts between iOS devices via iCloud. I’d rather not have to set everything up twice. Would also be nice, but less important, to have an Apple Watch app..Version: 3.3.7

Will not syncDespite the developer’s support and help from workplace IT, this app would not sync to my Exchange accounts. Other calendar apps sync immediately, so it’s difficult to understand why this developer makes it so hard. I have deleted the app and said goodbye to seven bucks..Version: 3.3.7

Complete with lies to get salesThis Statement is a complete LIE It's a Con & does NOT have All the Same Features QUOTE BusyCal for iOS — And for the first time ever, BusyCal is now available for iOS with the same features as BusyCal for Mac, including customizable views, integrated to dos, travel time, live weather feeds, and more.QUOTE As far as dragging attaching or linking Events etc IMPOSSIBLE IN BUSYCAL ON IPad Pro Even the developer says so quoted below Sorry for your experience, but there are some things that aren't in BusyCal for iOS that are in the Mac version. You should get a refund if you are not happy:.Version: 3.0

DOES NOT WORK WITH APPLE REMINDERSWhen Apple reminders updates their app, they removed the CalDAV communication with it. And busycal works on calDAV. So your reminders will NOT show up at all. I downloaded the app, realized this, tried to get a refund but Apple refused. Contacted busycal and they have not responded. Thumbs down..Version: 3.5.1

Limited display options limit usefulnessHighly disappointed at the lack of display options. Other calendar apps I’ve tested allow you to toggle between week view and day view by double tapping the day....BusyCal can’t do that. It’s also awkward to add new events, it doesn’t add where you tap and hold. And finally if you have a week long event, rather then it showing at the top as an “all day event” it wastes space by showing the bar for every day, filling the entire screen. At this point I lost my mind at how stupid this was and deleted the app and went to apple to request a refund. I ended up going with “Calendar 366” which meets my needs much better..Version: 3.9.5

Very Slow Development, Behind the Competition😡 Cons: - No today widget. - No Apple Watch app. - No Siri Shortcuts. - Can’t add a new calendar from within BusyCal have to back to native iOS calendar app, even after BusyCal’s integration with our iCloud account is suppose to be deeper and more substantial after needing an Apple ID App specific password to even add your iCloud account. - Can’t tap and hold on the screen to add an event have to tap the plus sign. - Can’t tap and hold on an event for duration sliders to appear so I can change the time, like native iOS Calendar, I have to go into menus. - Unnecessary separate menus, multiple taps and tabs for changing the date and time. Just copy the Native iOS Calendar app. This is annoying. - Drag and drop is slow and stutters. - Have to subscribe to us holiday calendar manually using a link from their website on all three devices iPhone, iPad and Mac even though you add your iCloud account which has a us calendar subscription. Pros: - Reminders integration (I don’t use this is use OmniFocus) - Time to leave notifications - Vertical week view displaying three days without needing to turn the iPhone into landscape. - Expandable day tabs in month view. Conclusion... This company has been around for a decade plus, I think it is inexcusable to be this far behind. A today widget has been requested for years. I want to be able to handle everything via BusyCal. I’m very Disappointed. 😪☹️😟.Version: 3.5.98

Full-featured, but buggy with poor supportI’ve been using BusyCal for years on iOS across multiple devices. I’ve encountered major bugs, have informed the developers, and have twice had initial responses basically saying “not our problem” - one blaming Google, another blaming Apple - followed by complete radio silence. I’m currently using the app under duress, but will find another. The app is also slow and has an “old school” UI. Initially it was the only app that supported most/all GCal fields. Now iOS calendar has caught up (e.g. Busy and Private toggles) I’ll give it a go again..Version: 3.3.8

OK app, extremely poor customer serviceI have used BusyMac apps for years. The apps are overpriced, but OK for someone who needs certain features missing in mac's default calendar. The customer service is very disappointing though. The attitude is since we are not a subscription service, it is ok for us to drop behind others and we will eventually catch up. This is the other side of the argument made by subscription services: since you are not paying subscriptions, don't expect us to provide best service..Version: 3.5.103

Meeting availability missingSadly, this doesn’t show meeting availability for attendees unlike the Mac app. Makes this a deal breaker for Exchange users as I’m unable to schedule meetings with colleagues..Version: 3.5.94

IPhone X support please!Nicest by far but please add iPhone X support..Version: 3.2

Please add support for shared calendarsI have BusyCal installed on my Mac and thought they would be able to synchronize. Since that is not the case, I was hoping for support for shared calendar, a must have for many offices. But alas, I have spent 7 dollars in something basically useless at this point....Version: 3.3.9

Not exactly like their Mac AppWhile their Mac app is fantastic, I wish the iOS app had me as excited. I have a lot of events that span multiple days and the ios app does NOT move these events to the all day section at the top. Instead they monopolize my entire day making it difficult to read. I wish they acted more closely together to make using more seamless. One other thing…. You have to subscribe to their Mac app monthly and then to use their iOS app you have to buy it. Seems a little bit like an overreach. Apps also don’t exactly sync without you having to manually setup. Work can be done here to make these apps seamless..Version: 3.7.8

Sync with Apple Calendars does not workI really want to like the app. It looks nice and works for the most part. But for me, the ability to sync with the local calendars that are set up in iOS is vital; my employer does not allow to add my email/calendar account to third-party apps, only to iOS directly. Although the developer added this option to BusyCal, it does not work correctly: new and deleted events work as expected, but when I change an existing event, then this change is never reflected in BusyCal. The only way to make a changed event show up correctly again is to remove Apple calendars and re-add them again within BusyCal. This is not a feasible workaround. I really hope that this can be fixed and improved soon..Version: 4.6.2

No Apple watch support3 stars because you are not supporting or letting us know that you are working on it. I need my cal on my watch. I like hands free. Otherwise I would be happy to give you 4 even 5. Otherwise it is a good app. bugs and all. Very customizable. Great options for time zone but not easily understandable. Needs to be simplified. I am not sure if the calendar timezone support is better than event timezone support but it seems they don’t play well together. If you chose calendar timezone support then event support should go grey and vice versa. Great icon library for all events. Flights are also highly customizable but difficult to manage in timezone support. It gets confusing if you have a heavy week of travels covering several time zones. Much better than iCal and flexible enough to synchronize accurately with iCal cloud and giving you so many more options. I am not sure if it can stand alone or not. I need mine to synchronize because it is a work calendar but for a personal calendar, I think it would struggle adding events coming in from outside sources through emails ans SMS i.e. flights, hotels reservations, event tickets, car rental reservations, restaurants reservations etc..Version: 3.3.8

Auto correct buggingWhen I type in a number into the calendar item it automatically either deletes it or makes it default to the time for the event. For instance if I put in ‘Year 4’ it deletes the 4 and makes it the time. Bugging!!!.Version: 3.3.9

A little wonkyI experience a lot of crashes with my older Macbook Pro, and a lot of those are from either BusyCal or BusyContacts. With BusyCal, the Mac slows to almost comatose and notifications keep popping up. Syncing has been an ongoing issue as it’s inconsistent. I get a lot of both duplicate entries AND duplicate Contacts which don’t merge properly or even update each other. So, features needed: - ability to enter tentative dates and a better method of tracking missed meetings. - tie into details for business to track mileage and expenses and allocate them properly - with seeing others’ shared calendars, an ability to “screen” those (i.e. I don’t need to see my spouse’s chiro appt) - in busycontacts, fix the duplicates issue by merging them and only showing one for each person.Version: 3.5.98

So close…I bought this app, and the Mac app, earlier today. BusyCal requires an app specific password to be set up on each device to access iOS calendars. Kind of annoying since none of my other calendar apps do that, but not a huge deal. But in order to access my work calendar on exchange, which I’m already logged into on my device, I need to log in again through BusyCal. My company limits the number of devices that can be logged in on exchange at the same time so logging in with BusyCal kicks me off my work email account. I’m disappointed because other than that BusyCal seems to have a lot of really nice features, but if I can’t see my work appointments alongside my personal ones then I’ll have to keep looking for another calendar app..Version: 3.6.2

Prefer iOS ver to iPadOSI won’t take much time explaining why BusyCal on the iPhone is best, but I won’t even touch the built-in calendar there anymore. However, on the iPad, I find it very frustrating to add new appointments, change appointments, and so on. Honestly, I don’t see why this doesn’t function the same as Apple’s Calendar app. I can’t double tap or long press to create a new appointment on a day. So, even though I want to create an appointment on, say, Saturday, I have to tap on the + in the upper right corner and start from square one, always defaulting to an all day event, which means there are many more steps to creating an event that in the Apple Calendar app. Changing appointments requires more steps. I want to be able to simply drag something around on the calendar, but instead I have to edit the appointment and go the Time tab. It’s so unnecessarily clunky, particularly in this day and age. Going back to the stock app. Buyer’s remorse..Version: 3.5.103

Such a shame, I am leavingGreat interface. This app became my default calendar. Easy to use, visually appealing, informative and functional. But now I have to leave it because Apple requires two step authentication and an app specific password. Two step authentication doesn't work properly for me, so great apps like this suffer the consequences..Version: 3.1.4

Chaotic and confusingI have bought this from their site and it continually gets confused with my Apple I’d. It drives me nuts. I hate, hate, hate it soooooo much I can’t tell you😡😡😡😡.Version: 3.14.4

Couldn’t sync with iOS calendarStupid.Version: 3.4

Good but needs workI was using Fantastical for years, but their prices finally forced me to look for an alternative. BusyCal seemed like the best alternative. The macOS app is solid and works exactly the way I need it to work. However, the same can’t be said for the iOS and iPadOS apps. The iOS app has issues with the widgets to the point where they’re currently unusable. (I sent the logs, so hopefully, they get fixed.) Also (and this drives me nuts), you have to keep the iOS and iPadOS apps open in the background for the date badge to update to the correct date. That was not the case with Fantastical. Maybe I’m missing a setting, but I don’t think I am. Also, as others have said, the UI could use a little modernization on all platforms. I’ll keep using it for the time being, but please iron out the bugs..Version: 4.5.7

Electronic Diary tools are awful in the 21st CenturyI'm constantly astounded how it is possible for such ineptitude in programming to live for what is essentially a very simple application - running a diary for your life. I wish Palm had survived because this - and BusyCal is amongst the better of them - is just too complex and too bloated and too slow to make keeping a diary fun. This is probably the 20th application I have tried, and every time I go back to my Palm. Why won't anybody write something that was as good - and FAST - as Palm Desktop and mobile diaries? SMH..Version: 3.3.7

Stops syncing after a couple days & can’t find how to get supportI’m using this with O365. It works for a couple days then stops syncing (or anyway, never syncs. It says it is syncing). This is disastrous for me because I depend on my calendar to be up to date. My current workaround is to use the iOS built in calendar, which also sucks but at least seems to keep up to date. I’d like to troubleshoot but there seems to be no way to contact support and none of the FAQs seem to address my problem (or if they do, I don’t understand it). I love the MacOS version. But I can’t recommend iOS version for people stuck with O365..Version: 3.5.0

Very disappointedI have been using BusyCal for Mac for years and I am a satisfied customer. I recently purchased BusyCal for iOS to see if it could replace Fantastical. So far it works well on my iPad but it is a bust on my iPhone running the latest iOS 11. On the iPhone it cannot add events. Half the time when I press + to add an event, nothing happens. When the new event screen does open, I enter the event info and when I press Done, nothing happens. The app just stalls. Also, you can't open an event to look at. You can select an existing event (obviously creatd in another calendar app) until the cows come home and the app just sits there and does nothing. I have restarted the phone to no avail. Something is seriously wrong here and needs to be fixed. Update Jan 3, 2020. Had been working wel for a while but now BusyCal on iOS and Mac is choking on my exchange calendar. It absolutely refuses to update. So again it is unusable for me. The built-in calendar app is limited but at least it works..Version: 3.5.1

Unfortunately buggedIn feb, I found a bug where events were being displayed at the wrong time. When my home area changed to DST, events in a different timezone are displayed in the wrong time on that day. With the bug over a month away, I could report the bug and wait. The affected date is now a little over a week away, and the bug is still unaddressed. This is affecting my short term planning now, and regretfully I am having to move to fanstastical from busycal (i prefer the look and feel of BC over FC) Bugs happen, but for a calendar to misdisplay dates is a big bug - and it was not fixed before the problem became “imminent”..Version: 3.3.9

Keep developing!!I like this app but it could be so much more... -FEATURE: Choosing and filtering calendars should be quick and easy to do. This could be fixed by making calendars a MAIN BUTTON on the Home Screen of the App that pulls up the calendars. Also, the user should be able to RE-ORDER calendars with an easy drag and drop. They should also be able to GROUP the calendars like on the desktop version. I see this as a no-brainer but a game changer. -FEATURE: Adding an event by voice should be a one-tap, MAIN BUTTON on the Home Screen of the App. -USER EXPERIENCE / DESIGN: they need to hire a good user interface designer to make the app more intuitive and look nicer. It’s pretty powerful but looks dated. (Move the list/day/week/month/to do bar to the top and put an ACTIONS BAR at the bottom -> calendars/ add event/ Filter/ settings). Look at some other nice looking and powerful apps to get inspiration (ie -> Eventbrite organizer app, Lowe’s app, etc) Other features to consider -meeting coordination (look at woven calendar... this app is shutting down but it’s too bad bc this feature is incredible), inbox button, Do not disturb, and so much more Please continue to develop... calendar apps could be so much more than what I’ve seen out there. If you want to reach out to me I would be happy to talk with you. Thank you!.Version: 3.6.2

Good, but ...I have always liked the Mac version of BusyCal and was excited to see it come to iOS. For the main part I have not been disappointed, but there are a few things that need to be changed in future versions: - The creation of events with time needs a faster date/time entry. The iOS wheel method with 60 minutes settings is cumbersome (Calendar5 has a very good and fast way of selecting time and date); - The detail view for an event should not take up the whole screen (especially on an iPad). It would be much neater to have these as a ribbon, like the day details in the month view; - The app should support event creation by tapping in the timeline of the day/week views. Dowgraded my rating to 3 due to lack of Apple Watch companion app or complication. Also,.Version: 3.0

Do not buy if you need active sync. You have to create your exchange account directly from within the app. The problem: it is not compatible with active sync. So if you need active sync it will not work..Version: 3.5.95

New pricing policy leaves me outI cannot abide developers who move to a subscription service. This very long time user is done....Version: 3.5.111

Needs a Dark ModeThe brightness is killing me. Needs a ‘Dark Mode’ display to make it more visually relaxing (better contrast) for viewing. See good comments about the desktop version, but I as trainer supporting corporate users I work mainly through iOS because it is with me all the time. The desktop is no longer the source for data. Data is now mobile (everybody now a days has a phone!!) BusyCalc really needs re-prioritize and move their focus to match this new mobile reality. The interface needs to reflect less clunky Microsoft approach to menus and more Apple iOS swipe approach to. For example, why do I need to click on Edit to change the Sync time? Why not just press my finger on the item to access and select the different options?? The configuration of the app is comprehensive, but the interface needs to be updated..Version: 3.3.9

I love this app, but no Apple Watch support.I love the BusiCal experience across all my devices, however it’s lack of Apple Watch support means I have to use an alternative so I can easily view my schedule on my Apple Watch. I hope that this functionality is in the works..Version: 3.5.98

Requires iCloud login and location onI paid £9.99 for this app and had no idea use word require me to login in using iCloud. I am not coverage doing that when every other calendar app syncs with my local calendar without iCloud login. I am also not willing to leave my location setting on all the time, which is required by the weather function of the app. Why can’t I just set a default location? Lesson learnt. Never buy apps you can’t try first! Not pleased. Trying to get a refund through Apple..Version: 3.16.12

Incomplete version of the Mac appA very comprehensive feature set, but it doesn't have the same features as the Mac version. The only reason I bought it was for the coloured tags, but the iOS version doesn't have these. The Mac version seems to be the same as emClient, but without email..Version: 4.5.7

Will drag event creation be updated?Yes, adding a lot of events is a pain without the now common drag and create option. Manually entering the time costs effort and when creating a lot of events it just wastes time. I still prefer it to Fantastical, so I would like to know if this feature will be installed? Otherwise perfect for adding notes to event and looks and functions very nice!.Version: 3.5.98

No reminders supportOnly supports all day reminders, no times. There is an option for times but it doesn't work at all. I was hoping there would be time zone support because people were saying that this is one of the only apps that supports different time zones, but it appears that the limited reminders support BusyCal does have relies on the Apple Reminders app but even with that you can't set times and Reminders only supports a single time zone (whichever one your phone is set to when you create it). So, reminders don't work for people who travel at all, which I would guess is a stupid Apple limitation (or just poor UX design on their part). I was hoping BusyCal could help me stay on top of my medical reminders but that doesn't appear to be possible if you travel as I have tried literally dozens of apps and NONE have time zone support..Version: 4.5.4

Problem with Office365 accountThe latest version has a problem when I needed to update my MS Exchange/Office365 account. My host institution forces me to change my passwd every 3mo. I was advised by a developer to delete the account and than re-create it. This did work but unfortunately now it returns that my host institution needs me to give admin privileges to enable login. This is a huge setback in the usability of the app..Version: 3.5.98

Great app but lacks an easy way to report bugsGenerally a fantastic calendar app that has two issues. 1) you have to sign in with iCloud to sync iCloud calendars. The majority of apps don’t ask you to do this. They just interact with the iPhone calendar. It’s a more reliable realtime sync that polling the iCloud account at a sent interval in the way BusyCal does. BusyCal doesn’t do this with reminders so please fix this as it’s not necessary and not as effective. 2) no direct way to report a bug/provide feedback. There is a bug I want to report. Creating multiple day events seems to be clunky. When selecting the dates, it keeps moving the start date. Then when changing the start date back, it moves the end date. Sometimes it works but this morning it only worked once then refused to play ball on the second calendar entry for multiple days I was trying to create. I resorted to using a different app. Please fix this too. Otherwise, great app with the best month view I’ve found. For the month view, it beats fantastical. For overall usability, not quite there but I still have been using this as the price point is far more personal use friendly..Version: 4.6.0

Stops syncing with google calendar after free trial endsInitially the app uses fine. I liked the idea of managing calendar events and tasks in the same app. A few days after the free trial ends (and I paid for a year’s subscription), BusyCal stops syncing with my google calendar saying “no space left”, which doesn’t make sense, considering my computer has 300+ GB free space..Version: 3.8.3

Doesn’t work with anythingThis does not work or sync with anything I have tried, buggered up my iCloud email account because of this, can’t event get google calendar to work, will be deleted…….Version: 3.7.6

Not as good as Mac versionI bought Busycal 3 for the Mac and found it really good especially its many preferences to customize to your own liking. The IOS version whilst good doesn't have as many customisations as you would like. It is glaringly missing a preference to change the font size in the different screens. In week view the font size is very large for my iPad Air 2 and I can't make it smaller and therefore more useful. In month view the font is small and perfect for that view. This app needs more work to enable font size changes. In Week view the calendar always starts on the current day despite choosing Monday as the first day of the week. On the mac version weekview starts on the Monday. There is no year view in the IOS version! All in all a good app but with some needed improvements to make it a proper companion to the Mac version..Version: 3.0

Lacking featuresJust purchased this and I am utterly disappointed with the lack of features. It feels very dated compared to its Mac counterpart. For iPhone and iPad, there’s really no reason to spend money on this. Fantastical, Calendars by Readdle or the native Apple calendar will do a much better job..Version: 3.6.2
