✓ C’mon Harman/JBLThis should be a wonderful speaker and in many ways it is. However, Harman have abandoned it following a v1.0 software release. Updates could have added functionality or better UI. Heck,I would love to pay for additional features in my Eon 610. Seems like one needs to research a manufacturer’s commitment to product support/software updates before buying any sort of app-based speaker. I regret that I blindly trusted Harman/JBL would continue support for their product. I think Mackie has a better reputation, but look for yourself and as customers, let’s start insisting on better support for what we buy..Version: 2.0.0

✓ HorrendousThis is a very frustrating app for a terrific speaker. Good luck getting this to connect. I have tried iPhone and Android to no avail. I have watched all the videos and followed their instructions. Only once did I connect. JBL should be ashamed. This should be a simple application. Perhaps there is a problem with firmware. Too bad Eon Connect can’t access the speaker for a firmware update. Avoid this app unless you enjoy being frustrated..Version: 2.0.0
✓ Good app, but needs and updateI have the JBL Eon 12 and love the speaker! The idea of having a mixer on my phone is great, but the connectivity only works short term. The only way to reconnect is the reset the speaker while holding the EQ+ and boot buttons together. I don't mind this, but it would be easier if I could just connect to it. The app gives me the option to delay the speaker and mess with EQ, but it would also be cool if there were more effects such as reverb. This app is good for my needs and I think this app is useful, but needs an update.😀.Version: 1.34

✓ Dropped eon 612 from sync to appUnexpectedly dropped speaker from app now there is no way to sync. I’ve tried to start with “boot & sync” buttons depressed to factory reset, just doesn’t work anymore. UPDATE I purchased these speakers 11/2018 and is now 7/2019, I run these in my backyard with a EON 618s(subwoofer) and now the large driver on the EON 612 appears blown. I don’t pump these very high as this is a home in a subdivision and have neighbors. Big disappointment..Version: 2.0.0
✓ What bluetooth?So even though it has eq settings on the amp itself, they feel the need to put unnecessary mixing capabilities on this app instead of just connecting me to the speaker via bluetooth :0) Absolutely useless..Version: 1.34
✓ HOT TRASH!The app takes a while to connect then disconnects after a matter of seconds and is near impossible to reconnect, while leaving whatever changes you made in effect. In my case, I slid the volume fader around and it stuck at 100 and disconnected, and now the hiss from the speaker is much more present and won’t go away without a reset and reconnect to the app. geat idea, terrible execution, Needs improvement!.Version: 2.0.0

✓ Sorry I ever bought my EON monitorI bought my EON612 based on the promise and possibilites of the bluetooth app, which I assumed was available at the time of my purchase. When I got to the website to download the app it informed me that the app wouldn't be available until the end of June. Then June went by and middle of July they changed the website to say "End of July." July went by and middle of August the app was finally available for download. Lo and behold and what a shock that it appears the JBL development team just rushed this thing out without fully testing it. I can't even use it. I open the app, it does find my monitor, BUT it gets stuck on trying to update my monitor firmware and the frickin' start button is off the screen where I can't click it. WHAT good software developer implements a fixed rather than adaptive dimension screen????! To say this doesn't inspire confidence or customer loyalty is a huge understatement. I'm on the verge of demanding that JBL give me my money back..Version: 1.0

I believe the EON 600 series speakers and this app, which was promised months upon months ago has made me lose all interest in owning a JBL product again. I can understand that setbacks happen and I was more than willing to give JBL the benefit of the doubt, but to wait this long and receive an app for your speakers that is essentially broken is extremely disappointing. ✓ Poor execution of a decent ideaSo.... the demo videos of this app are good, the menus are great and I love my speakers. However, I do not see how Harman could allow an app/function like this to go to market with these issues. Judging from the other reviews, I am not alone. The specific problem I have with this app/function is that it does not connect to my speakers via Bluetooth. That problem negates any perceived usefulness. Further to that, any attempt at performing a factory reset on the speakers to get the sync function to reboot does nothing. Would not be so bad if I could manually adjust the crossover in my 618S. It's as if JBL removed/ignored the manual adjustments for basic functions and are relying upon a faulty product to perform those functions, digitally. Not 100% sure if it's the app or the Bluetooth receiver, but all three of my Eon 600 series speakers are exhibiting the same behavior, so I am going with app. Please fix this..Version: 1.34

✓ Bass & Treble shelfs don't workI have two eon610 and downloaded this app for the eq function. The three eq settings worked but the bass and treble shelfs will not select. I can change the gain but not the freq. freq is greyed out and neither circle will slide left or right. Update; Still does not work after the latest update. Cannot adjust shelf frequency. ✓ DisappointingThe Bluetooth connectivity has nothing to do with streaming music directly to the speaker, but that is not mentioned in the product description - very disappointing. Isn’t that that what Bluetooth allows you to do, stream music to a device? That’s why I got this speaker - Bummer! The app gives some control over the speaker settings which is a great idea, but the EQ screen for example is so small you can barely read to adjust parameters. The App is a Nice feature for sound techs but no useful purpose for the 99% who thought you would be able to stream music to the speaker. ✓ MehNice concept, but kinda bummed out knowing that the only Bluetooth feature is the “mixer” and no music streaming. Also, the connection is weak as well, and it disconnects in a matter of minutes if you leave the app..Version: 2.0.0
