✓ RepetitiveFun at first but very short lived. If you can get to your and 2nd album on your first record contract, you have pretty much exhausted all the challenge and the story elements in this game. There are no more upgrades available. You win every award. You have to choose sides in fights in the band but it doesn’t matter because the mojo recovers next week anyway. So it’s just write songs, tour, write songs, etc. as you climb up the charts. I haven’t changed my set list for 30 years of game time. There is no relation between touring and sales performance of your latest record (not that it matters because you quickly hit the point where all your songs are 5 stars and your album comes out at #1). ✓ Obvious money trap.The game is designed to artificially lower cash, stats, or equipment in order to allow a pop up asking for real world cash in order to continue playing once you’re “in the red”. There’s no real connection between skill, gear, or band perk increases in relation to generating a net positive currency. It’s RNG to get you paying money out of your pocket. ✓ Very good game until...It's a very addictive management game, but unfortunately it dives right off a cliff after the first world tour. There's absolutely nothing else worth sticking around for. Write, record, tour, holiday. Repeat ad nauseam. Your bank account will dip slightly as you record the album, then go right back up to where it was during the tour. ✓ Too Repetitive after your First World TourA nice little game at the beginning, then its boring as hell once you have done your first world tour. It's pretty much scripted, no real difference between the levels, other than the number of records you have to sell to get to number one, there is no real sense of autonomy, you just write songs, record an album, then a video, promote a single & album then go on tour, you carry on doing this for 20 odd levels. ✓ Fun But Not Enough CustomizationIt’s a pretty solid game with fun features and stuff, but there’s not enough customization / elaboration. For one, it would be cool if the character customization was more in depth. That would be an unnecessary, but fun, plus. Also I wish you could customize the track listing for albums/EPs and edit the number of tracks. As of now you can only have 12, including the single B-Sides, and it orders them for you. ✓ Fun game until...The game is absolute fun until you get start getting to the top 100 artists. From then on, the only way to make your way to the top is to continue writing more albums. At this point, I think I have over 60 albums, which is way too much. Even The Beatles don’t have that many. I’m pretty much stuck at number 5 because I keep writing new albums but it barely gets me to the top. I think there should be more options to boost your popularity, like doing tours whenever you want, attending more festivals, doing meet and greets. Writing albums really starts to get tedious after a while and I’ve honestly lost the fun trying to get to number 1. I also think we should have the ability to write an album with whatever amount of tracks I’d like. Bands release EPs all the time. Bands release albums with more than 12 tracks all the time. I’d also like to be able to put the songs in whatever order I want. Some suggestions would be to spend money on the stage, presentations, lights, pyrotechnics etc. Also, making it more difficult to get 5 stars on songs and gig performance. ✓ Fun but inaccurateThis game is fun but really inaccurate. The money system is terrible. You go through it way to quick. I spend more time watching ads to get free money then anything else in the game. When you’re unsigned you don’t get a salary. And you pay for everything. Recording, transportation, food, hotels, etc. When you get signed then you start making money for yourself. Plus the label pays for all of that. Also do away with the bottle system. It promotes drinking. There are far better ways to be an inspired musician than drinking or drugs. And my biggest critique. Let players save the game on their device like a normal game. Not on your “servers”. Come on that’s just phishing for personal information so you can sell it to others and spam the hell out of your players. On the times when it didn’t it kept bringing up an advert that I couldn’t skip past (even after it had played out!. Once you've 'made it' and got to a world tour the levels are endlessly repetitive. I invested £1.99 in a 'tour manager' as I felt the developers deserved that for a game I've spent quite a bit of time enjoying. This game could have a bright future with some thought on life after the 2nd album, rather than endless world tours perhaps bespoke stadium and festival circuits.... greatest hits tours rather than constant l new music.... maybe let the band have 2 or 3 years off as per the norm for the biggest acts in the world. ✓ Great with a few glitchesThis game is highly addictive and I've loved playing it so far. I was hoping the recent update would have ironed out a few glitches but it hasn't. Once you start getting really successful the tour dates start to go wrong. For most of the tour I'm playing to 0 people and then get messages saying that I played a great gig at 'null'. The more you play, the more this seems to happen. This then affects the amount of money the band earns, merchandising and worst of all, groupies. All of this in turn slows down progress for the achievements. I would also like to see a feature that lets you set ticket prices. Currently my band is bigger than Metallica but still charging a fiver to see them as they were before they were signed. At the moment its beginning to get a bit monotonous and I would like to see an update with the empty venue glitch sorted and a few more options to manage the band. ✓ Needs more optionsGame is great in concept but gets stale very quickly due to the extreme repetitiveness and lack of options. Every album is 12 songs. Every concert is the same length (only an hour!?) Perhaps add the option to play a longer set but it tires the band our more? Meanwhile, there are no types of songs — just songs. There need to be attributes of one song vs another that could make one better for an album or live. Sequencing on the album and the order of the set list should affect the quality based on those attributes (not opening with a ballad, etc.) Another example: the tours are the same venues every time and the venues are too small for everything but the World Tour option. You should be able to customize tour length and/or choose venues based on size. Finally but maybe less important: the economics are all messed up. Most bands make the vast majority of their money from touring. Album sales revenue tends to be small. With some expansion, this could be a great game..FundgjfjrjffVersion: 1.7.1

✓ Great at beginning, boring afterwards.The beginning of the game is fantastic, balancing your money with writing EP's, gigging at local venues and working your way up from support acts to headliners. Impressing scouts, signing to record labels and writing albums is also very enjoyable and at that point the game is one of my favourites I have ever played on IOS. However after your first album there is no real interesting features anymore, as you go on world tours over and over again, releasing albums to the point of boredom. You write 5* albums at an unbelievable speed. What band releases nearly 2 top selling albums a year!?
