✓ Love the game. App needs some work.So a couple of things that need to be addressed. The ‘on deck’ card while you play is cut off where the threatened hits are so I can’t tell if my on deck card will be more useful than the cards in my hand. A way to make the cards bigger when you touch them or zoom in would be appreciated. Also, an option to turn off the annoying ‘single’ ‘single’ ‘double’ ‘out’ vocals would be nice. Overall not bad. Some minor technicalities need to be addressed to take this already great board game to the next level as an app..Version: 1.10.4

✓ I love this game!Like others have mentioned, the user interface needs work. The card scrolling/selection is clunky, and the layout itself could use some care to avoid stretched out graphics. I also think there is a bug with base runner advancement on some cards that have instant effects, as I've seen some slow runners go from second all the way home on what should have been a single (but this rarely happens, so must be a specific edge case of some sort)..Version: 1.10.4

Skill, luck, progression and theatre all in balance. The price and lack of AI opponents put me off for a while but I'll not look back now. ✓ Go Whiffle Go!Despite the fugly UI, this is a great and addictive game. Don't expect a serious baseball simulation, this is a strategy card game of tactics and bluffing. Online multiplayer (maybe someday?) would be nice to have but play against the CPU is fun..Version: 1.10.4

✓ A little rough around the edges but a good gameI've never played the board game from which this is adapted (but I am considering buying it after playing this app), but I found it easy to learn how to play from the detailed tutorials -- I thought they were well done. The game play is excellent and fun. It captures the feel of baseball very much. As others have commented, the game lacks some of the polish of other board game apps on the market and the interface is a bit confusing initially as it flashes back and forth between boards. If some of that could be fixed, this could be one of the best board game apps out there. ✓ Enjoying but question AII am enjoying this but I am getting frustrated quickly. I seriously question the AI ability to get clutch wins and saves every game. I have played this about 15 times now and am getting my ars handed to me on a regular basis. Many if not most of my losses have come to just amazing come from behind victories, amazing defensive plays or visitor saves. I’m not saying its rigged but I am keeping an eye on it. I want to punch that cyborg coach right in his electronic eye. Can’t recommend this game but can’t say don’t get it either. That probably doesn’t help anyone..Version: 1.10.4

✓ Good game, but one annoying bug.So, I've been loving this game so far. It's a lot of fun, the pace is fast and it's not just luck. Maybe I'm bad at it, but I've only played against the computer so far and still found it pretty hard ! Here's the thing tough : you have multiple team to chose from and they're all a bit different, but if you chose any other team than the first team, be sure to finish the game in one sitting. Otherwise, there seems to be a issue where the a.i. Take the first team and you take any other, and then, when I load back in, I'm back in control of the first team and the A.i. Control the team I was playing. The score remains the same as well, so if you where having a pretty good game, good luck catching up, cause the a.i. Have your scores now... So, yeah, pretty good game, but be sure to have the time to finish a game if you start one. It's not that long to play. 15-20 minutes max once you get how things work, So it's not that big of a deal breaker and for the price, it's absolutely worth it !.Version: 1.12.2

✓ What a Joy!This is such a fun boardgame and while it's very difficult to read the cards text on an iPhone, you can run this on your mac and then zoom. I play this game with a neighbor and we use the online function to play. It's just like the real board game, love it! Worked out what it was for but in my view didn’t really add anything. Needs either putting somewhere less obtrusive like the bottom left corner of the screen or an option to not include it. ✓ Faithful boardgame port with true solo play optionThe app is pretty solid, I figured things out on my first game which I played solo. Love how in the solo game the difficulty is adjustable, but no matter what you're the underdog fighting and getting stronger every round - but can you get strong enough fast enough, and play your cards smart? It is quite faithful to the physical boardgame. Not super slick, but it appears to be fairly solid, and I'm happy to see the port.
