Keelo - Strength HIIT Workouts for Negative User Reviews

Bad!1. it's more crossfit than hiit. 2. i indicated i'm in athletic shape and the videos shown are for beginners. 3. exercises in demo videos done with poor form! 4. only has 3 exercises until you pay!.Version: 2.2

No!Do not download this app even for a trial. You can’t delete it off your phone!.Version: 6.4.9

Complete rip offDon't subscribe. The app started charging me with no warning at a ridiculous amount every month. Not worth it. Any responsible provider would remind users that a free trial is ending and charging would begin. I don't even remember agreeing for them to take payments. You can find plenty of workouts for free on the web..Version: 3.7

Good UX. Weird workouts. No support.I’m a fan of this app and way the workouts flow. I don’t have to touch the screen too much, and there is a demonstrative video for each exercise. The interface is nice. However, my impression of the workouts themselves is that they are designed by smaller guys or by women. Some of the workouts are great because they’re cardio focused and scale well for larger men. But other workouts are clearly designed using like a 5 or 15 lb dumbbell, and they don’t scale up well. Flinging a 50 lb dumbbell over one’s head puts a ton of stress on the joints, ligaments and tendons in the arms and shoulders. You are likely get an injury doing this stuff with larger weights. I’ve also read that the app is no longer actively supported, which seems to be true. The Email the Coach feature yields no response. Plenty of room for improvement. But I don’t think I’m going to keep my subscription, given the lack of support..Version: 7.8

Pricing Could Be BetterGreat app. Too expensive. Not sure the 20% price increase in subscription is justified during a cost-of-living crisis..Version: 7.8

Not impressedI’m a 62 year old beginner with no some equipment which I listed and they started b telling me to do very difficult exercise with equipment I didn’t list.Version: 4.1.1

Good workouts, needs updatesThis is a great app for workouts. I wasn’t able to find many that put together a mixed strength and conditioning workout with both weights and body weight the way Keelo does. Experienced extreme frustration with timer alerts not going off when the phone is locked. Circuits seem to exit when phone is locked and I found myself having to restart and skip through to get back to where I originally was, however this affects the recording of your performance and your tracking overall. I see these as standard fitness app requirements as people handle their phones in different ways during workout, this has brought my rating down. Hoping to see some updates!.Version: 4.5.1

No delete account option. Why are there so many mobile apps without the option to delete the profile? Is it so hard to implement? It really pisses people off that they have to send emails and what not in order to chase you up to delete an account. It could be as easy as pressing a button in the app. You just think what’s better for you, not for your users. I just installed the app, didn’t like it and wanted to delete my profile..Version: 4.8.3

Can't see the videos properly? The aspect for the videos seems to be off on the iPad. I can see a lot of the background but not much of the trainer because he is half out the frame. Great workouts but this bug is really annoying.Version: 1.1

Not bad overallI was a premium subscriber for quite a while. I enjoyed the various hiit workouts and noticed cardio improvements. However, I did not notice any upper body improvements. I had to add external bench presses to my workouts. When my gym closed due to COVID, I cancelled my subscription. I don’t enjoy working out at home. I received an email, apparently from the CEO, asking for my feedback and asking me to give it another chance. I responded with a detailed response. I never heard back. That caused me to reduce the number of stars. If you don’t want feedback, why ask for it? I am give it a try again in the future..Version: 7.2.3

Can't skip using my phone numberI opened the and it asked for my phone number to create a login it has a skip option which I tapped but it failed..Version: 4.8.1

Great app watch features.Terrific Apple Watch features. Easily the best I’ve used. However the way the workouts are put together are nonsensical and there’s no discernible profession model. The manual option (using favorited exercises) helps overcome this to a point but those who don’t want to follow the “program” (which I use extremely useless because there really is no program) still have to pay $13 a month. Splitting it into manual mode and program mode users would be a potentially more reasonable way to go in the future. On a second note the customer service I’ve experienced has been extremely rude in many cases. Suggesting a feature or idea is met with ridicule and curt objection as to why you are wrong for even suggestion the app isn’t perfect. I highly recommend not reaching out to support and just try figuring things out for yourself. App could be great but developers seems more interested being “right” then getting it right..Version: 6.0

WaitingI have been really enjoying this app, enjoyable and varying workouts perfect for my busy lifestyle demands! However I've been waiting over an hour for my recommended workout today, I've paid for a months premium service (which runs out in two days) I'm now wondering if I should renew or not!.Version: 2.2

Needs better music intergrationNice app. I appreciate the diversity of workout and the filtering feature. It’s a shame the app doesn’t support google music and amazon music, or that you can only rate workouts and not specific exercises..Version: 4.6

OkayThe programming is okay. If you have any CF experience, I’d suggest listing yourself as an experienced athlete and then scaling down if necessary. Quite honestly though, FITBOD does the same thing, probably a little better, at half the price. FITBOD has a wider variety of home equipment to choose from, the programming adapts (harder/easier) with honest inputs from the user, you can choose from a variety of goals (CF, strength, Olympic only lifting, powerlifting and more), and you’re able to cross train any of those goals into one seamless workout session of a length of your choosing. Warm-ups and cool down movements(static or dynamic-you choose) can be programmed in also. FITBOD does cardio only if you’d like, and if you miss a workout, it’s easy to go back into FITBOD and add it later (like if you didn’t have time for a full training session, but ran outside or did any other cardio). Best, Les.Version: 7.4.0

Good app bad customer serviceI liked using the app during my 3 month trial then it automatically disabled the paid features. I figured my trial was over. Then later that month I noticed they charged my account. When I submitted a ticket to see why I got charged and all my paid features were disabled they blamed it on me saying I was suppose to go back and restore the account... how am I suppose to know that??? Then when I asked for a refund for the month they charged me but had my paid features disabled the rep continued to blame me for their poor user experience. The app itself was good but Not worth the price better workout apps out there for the same price Their support team keeps telling me a “all you have to do is restore a previous purchase ” but how do you expect your users automatically know to do this? Poor user experience bad customer service..Version: 6.2.2

Glitching after updateThe app was working great before, but now it's completely messed up and the screen keeps switching between 2 different ones. Before I had liked how it would show a detailed video of what each exercise is supposed to look like..Version: 3.4
