✓ Zero quality control + zero customer careToters holds a virtual monopoly over most of Beirut’s delivery services, which has never been more important to people than during lockdown. Yet their customer service and quality control has never been worse. Over and over again, I experience the same thing - restaurants send me the complete wrong item, an order with half of the items missing or rotten, or some other massive screw up, and NEVER do they compensate the customer or make the company make it right. I have been screwed out of so much money and left hungry (because there is. Or a curfew) so many times because of these people. And they don’t care. Toters customer service promised to send the correct items, but two hours later I still had nothing and it was clear the customer service reps were just lying. Had to deal with multiple reps because they would leave the chat before solving the problem! ✓ Exploiting USD exchange rate differencesToters is exploiting the difference in the USD exchange rate to make extra profits on each order. On my last order alone there was an 8+$ difference between the amount charged on my card and the restaurant’s bill, which was charged from my card and not received by the restaurant. When I asked customer support where this money goes, they (Romy) were very rude and did not answer the question, but rather blamed me for accepting the price at checkout. ✓ Unprofessional serviceThe application is missing the cancel option which means lots of problems specifically when you figure out that you order might rake one hour or more! ✓ Dont bother downloadingIf you are looking for a bad experience go ahead and download it sincerely. There is no customer service, staff is rude and doesn’t answer, you contact them they dont even reply to you. This is what bothered me the most, there is the wrong orders and lots of other food related stuff. As an established advertiser myself, please stop wasting money on advertisements and channel some of the budget into your customer support team or your IT and developers team. Once the food arrived it was disgusting and cold , their response was that they contacted the restaurant and they refused to issue a refund , and simply apologized for the situation. I ordered for 400,000 , they compensated me with 20%. I ended up having a bite of one of the plates and throwing the rest, and worst : without electricity! I was just being transformed to other drivers and finally when i was assigned to a driver that was actually heading my way turns out he’s new to the application and barely knows how to work on it and none of the support agents were even helpful or support full. ✓ Never using toters again 👎Toters rules: “You can’t pay in dollar, otherwise your order will get returned, no matter how hungry you are🙃”. I use these kind of applications to make my life more easy, uncomplicated, and not to end up waiting for my order to be returned after all the wait :) Knowing the situation in Lebanon, it’s not logical to have a rule like this one. I would rather use Godzilla, or call the restaurant to get my order on time, without any ignorant rules.
