✓ It's okay if you have it but you can do without itI keep Tweetbot because it shows my tweets in chronological order and doesn't have adverts. However it doesn't have group DM, you cannot see who has favourited a tweet by clicking on the tweet without going to an external app, you cannot view threads or polls. If you haven’t already paid for this app save your money.Koshkosh_Version: 4.8.2

✓ Is it Twitters fault?I don’t know if it is Twitter being malevolent, or if it is just this app being a bit crap. I bought it after seeing a lot of positive reviews. But in truth, I just find it annoying. There is no indication or notification for that matter, about how many likes or retweets you’ve got. The only way to find that out is through multiple taps through your profile to see each tweet and tap on the one you want to see the data for. This is really rubbish. Threading is nonexistent. Viewing threaded tweets sometimes works and sometimes the follow on tweets just get hurried with all the other replies. Basically, the free Twitter app is far superior. The only thing I would say is that the lack of data collection and lack of advertising is excellent here..RlmpVersion: 5.3.2

✓ Better Alternatives AvaliableWhilst the UI is much better then The official Twitter app it lacks the most basic features, Notifications! being one which is pointless paying for an app that can’t do such a basic feature which has not been added since the release of the app over an year ago. ✓ Terrible update.My app updated itself and now it has to be closed after I watch a video because there’s no way to get back to the timeline. I gladly paid for the old app and was happy with it but now I get begging messages with the new one. The new black background colour is awful as well. ✓ A good product ruined by slow animationsNot bad but slow UI with lots of “hidden cheese”. Want to favourite something? Well first you have click it to reveal the like icon and doing will start a slow “reveal buttons” animation. Want view replies? Well first you’ll need a big swipe sideways followed by a load of slow, unneeded animation. Worst of all, what zoom an image? Prepare for the slow, unneeded spinning dissolve as you try to get back to the timeline. Software executives of the world, thinking of adding “futuristic” animations to your product? Don’t! They are rubbish. Just make the UI as simple and fast as you can. That is what really delights users..SeanySeanySeanVersion: 5.0.8

✓ UnusableIf this app worked as intended I would give it 5 stars but on my iPad 6, every minute or so, whether I am half way reading a tweet or replying to one or simply scrolling through I am transported to the end of my updated timeline. Often I am reading an interesting tweet and go to reply and it's gone in a flash. Drives me crazy as I don't have any control it's all so random. I tipped them a fiver just before I sending a request for help but it's a few days now, I've heard nothing, very sad..DgLckwdVersion: 5.3.1

✓ Not worth the moneyI had Tweetbot on the Mac years ago and loved it, but I hate this app now. The only reason to use it is the lack of ads and the chronological timeline. Can’t see who’s liked tweets, takes too many taps to do anything, is actually slower to load photos etc than the twitter app & the UI is just too stark. It’s also too pricey. ✓ Underwhelmed.Used the native Twitter for years , and have witnessed it evolve. Used other clients, but in the days when I had a Blackberry. Thought I would have a look to see what else is available now. On the back of so much positive feedbacks, I thought I would try this. Parting with £4.99. Far too many clicks involved in the simplest of tasks. No gifs. No ability to forward a tweet to a DM. Honestly can’t see what all the hype is about. Dear Developer. ✓ I don’t know why I bought this.I have no problem with the official twitter client, but used to love Tweetbot in the earlier versions as it had a lot to offer that the other app didn’t. It seems that the original has surpassed this now. This doesn’t seem to group together conversations so makes the timeline a bit of a mess and hard to track. Not a fan any longer. ✓ Is okayIt is a bit outdated now but I stick with it because it doesn’t have advertisements. The most frustrating thing is that it’s so hard to find what menu option to click on to find something. Would be good to have something like Apple Settings where you have one long list with a search option to find what you want. ✓ I love it butI want to use tweetbot as my main programme for surfing twitter but the issue is I cannot find my twitter groups with my private messages. For my I find it annoying and frustrating to not have the full features of twitter in this great app. Hopefully, in the next updates users of tweetbot will find their groups easily without returning to the original twitter app. Thank you.Mohammed AlAbdulsalamVersion: 4.8.2

✓ Nice But FrustratingReally like the functionality of this app, such as lists, swiping, managing multiple accounts, and prefer the interface over the official app. Most of the time, though, it doesn’t remember where I am in the timeline and dumps me back weeks. ✓ Problems with search make it less usefulI do like this app but compared to the official twitter app when I use the search function many results that sow up with the official app do not appear with this app. I did contact the developer who replied quickly that it is down to the twitter API and what data it returns, it’s a shame but the way I rely on the search feature makes this app useless for me..Spender1Version: 4.7.6

✓ Can’t toggle light/dark mode within appI have always enjoyed using Tweetbot, but the new 5.1 has broken a feature I really liked - the ability to toggle light/dark mode independently through the app. The new 5.1 update only allows you to set to the system settings - but I prefer light mode on the OS and dark mode on Twitter/Tweetbot.
