✓ Beware of this app’s Bait and Switch tacticZero stars if it were possible. After trying several framing apps I decided on FRAMIFY. I paid the one-time purchase price of $2.99 to get rid of the ads and watermark. Imagine my surprise at being told in the app — AFTER I had made the purchase that the next update would flip my purchase back to showing ads and watermarks, and that the app would become subscription-based in order to new features and get rid of what I’ve already paid to get rid of. First, I’m not a big fan of subscription-based apps, but to each his/her own. There is no way in h3ll I would have purchased this had I known the developer would pull this kind of crap. My personal opinion is that apps that do this shouldn’t even be allowed in the Apps Store, or should be removed if they do so as it is clearly a dishonest and misleading tactic to gouge the buyer for more $$$. Alternatively, full disclosure of this tactic should be required to be prominently displayed in the app description so the buyer is informed in advance, not after the purchase. I don’t plan to update the app, and if it does somehow get updated I will delete it. Nevertheless, This is my first (and last) purchase from Ankur Chauhan..Caduceus1Version: 3.0.2

✓ Far TOO many pop upsI have literally only just downloaded this app, can barely make my first picture without being bombarded by constant app ads popping up every few seconds. I haven’t been able to save a pic yet either because every time I try I’m hit up to do a review before I’ve even had a chance to give it a real try. That and the endless pop ups are making this near unbearable!! I would love to give a wonderful review because from what I have been able to see so far, it looks like it could be great but I’ve been too disappointed so far to give it more than 3 stars and 3 at this point is over generous. My only issue is I’ve gave several sincere five star ratings and everything is still not unlocked… I don’t mind paying for a good app. But there’s not an option for that either, so I still have to deal with the different ads, it’s frustrating to have so many ads at once, when trying to do one photo..Honieraye VaughanVersion: 3.0.2

✓ How does this have such good reviews!I downloaded this cause it had good reviews and obviously I wanted a frame on some photos. Well first off half the frames cover like 40% of the photo your trying to frame. Why would u want a really cool frame if it covers most of the photo. Also EVERY time you want to try a different frame to see which one you like, you have to watch a 10 second add. So basically every 5 to 15 seconds you’re watching an add. I get that it’s free so they’re will be adds but that many is ridiculous. Used all for one day and am going to delete it.TatorboVersion: 3.0

✓ Need to learn what a frame isIn the true sense of the word, and not sure if you guys know what it means, but a frame is something you use to put your picture in that still allows you to see a majority of the picture, nothing less. A frame should only cover, at most, the border of a picture. If it’s more frame than picture, it’s no longer a frame, it then becomes either a cutout or a collage. You guys need to learn the difference. A picture should be like the main ingredient of a food dish. It’s the star, it should shine, it should be there front and center, it should NEVER be overshadowed. Side dishes are like the frame, it’s there to support the star attraction, but never take over the show. These so-called frames you have are cutouts and collages, not frames. Learn the difference and once you do, rename it appropriately..MikeypowerVersion: 2.4

✓ Used to LOVE this app, but can’t recommend at this timeFirst I had bought this a couple years ago and paid for no ads. Now open on my new iPad and getting ads like crazy. Stays like this not using app. More importantly, I never had problems before saving and sending the photos I updated with frames in your app. Now saying it’s saved, but not showing up anywhere. Tried sending by email, still no go. Sent to Face Book and didn’t go. I’m so sad as this used to be an awesome app. If you can’t fix all this then I’ll delete.NPRN0827Version: 3.0.2

✓ Nice app but small selectionI like this app because it’s easy to pic a frame to place my writing photos in. I do wish the frames used more colors. It seems most are using red, pink, and flowers. I think it would be better to have some frames that aren’t so busy and just a bit more plain. Sometimes having a busy frame takes away from the photo or words you’re pasting on the frame. I also wish you could type text into a photo page on this app and then place it in a frame. I have to use one app to create the word art, then come to this app to place it in a frame. I also with there were more categories to choose from. The Valentines frames are so many but it’s not even Valentine’s Day or season. It would be nice to have more options to choose from even on the free version..ButterflyFlyforMeVersion: 3.0.2

✓ Was fine until…I bought this app a couple of years ago and it was a lovely app that I enjoyed using for my clients when sending photos of their pets. This morning I got a pop-up that said they’re going to start charging a monthly use charge even for those of us who agreed to a one time purchase and informed me that if I ever updated the app I would start getting charged as soon as I clicked that I understood this and tried to use the app to put a frame around a picture. I kept getting an error and I cannot use any frames without getting this error now. Due to this shady practice I’m only giving it one star..Momma_tessVersion: 3.0.2
