✓ No goodIt's called cinema for a reason. So you can feel Like you're at the cinema watching a film! iTunes videos do not play due to the app not being compatible,so why the developers tell you to copy films to the app via iTunes is beyond me!! If you get this fixed or come up with a solution so films can be played,I'll resubmit a better review. I've downloaded a few of these VR cinema apps and none are compatible or play iTunes purchased videos..Version: 2.0.7

✓ One video worked great, now totally brokenThis played one video amazingly well, and then it just stopped playing all videos that are VR. Whenever you hit the “play” button on the bottom, it’s just a black screen. Really a shame, because it has great features and the one single video it played WAS great. ✓ Doesn’t support native formatsYou can stream from a PC which is great as normally you have to download the videos onto the phone. Having said that, the support for video codecs is pretty bad. I’m not sure why the software doesn’t support formats that are NATIVELY supported in IOS. Transcoding on the pc is totally unnecessary and reduces the quality. The app says it supports MKV but it DOESN’T - it has to transcode into MP4 even when the video is already in h264. It’s easy to repackage the h264 into an mp4 container without recompression on a pc (if you’re a video geek), but for everyone else - why can’t the player access h264 in an mkv container? If I can re-package (convert without recompression) into mp4 and then watch in this app then in the case of h264 in mkv then your helper app could repackage instead of re-encode (which should be treated as a last resort). Also your app does not support mkv if the file has to be converted to MP4 before playback. Furthermore why doesn’t the app support h265: it is not a new format in fact it’s the de facto standard in iOS 11. I get the need for an external decoder, but h265 isn’t optional these days.. it would be great if you could update your codecs. Otherwise it’s a good app and does what it is supposed to but sadly I’m not going to re-encode my videos into a 10 year old format because one app doesn’t conform to modern standards. I hope you can resolve the format issue, it’s a game-breaker for an otherwise very cool app. If it can be fixed to play modern formats I’ll definitely buy it. I would also recommend reviewing your description as the formats listed are NOT all compatible with the app and that is important - you know, to be honest..Version: 3.2.3
✓ Annoying AdsEvery five minutes or so, they put an af which you have to exit out of manually, and then I would have to take out my phone from the VR box just to press on the X, and this can get frustrating, since I dropped it and almost broke the entire thing once since I had to close an ad..Version: 3.2.2
✓ Started great... but ended horriblyDownloaded and seamed perfect. Until I started watching my own downloaded movie.... adds all over the place. And the problem is if your watching in VR (which I was) none of the adds are in the vr format, so it Fs with you eyes when all of a sudden it’s one big screen add. Then 75% of the time it would freeze my phone and I’d have to restart the app to get my video to play again. Also no head tracking controls so I would constantly have to pull my phone out to click adds... if it’s this bad free, I definitely wouldn’t wast a cent on a paid version..Version: 3.2.5

✓ Used to be great on older phonesA brilliant app that works well, but when viewing in horizontal mode on an iPhone that doesn’t have a home button, you can’t scrub through the video as the iPhone wants to exit the app (it thinks you are trying to swipe up). ✓ Needs workThe head tracking is laggy. The video does not zoom out far enough for the full picture to be in view while its head tracking. Ads are very annoying, popping up maybe every 5 minutes, but there is a paid version. Connected to my Synology just fine with FTP. It has to download to the device the entire video, no streaming.
