ScamMy account has been cancelled for over a year and they still are charging me. Not possible to cancel a subscription that shows up on my profile as unsubscribed. Customer service phone number doesn’t work and they dont answer the support email. Garbage..Version: 4.0.10

Save your moneyMy app keeps crashing. Paying for absolutely nothing..Version: 2.2.10

:(Really wanted to love this app. But it just keeps glitching. Eg. doing Jen Selters abs, started the timer for skipping and it goes “3....2......” and that’s it, doesn’t start timing. Really great idea, it just needs some work..Version: 2.2.19

Charged me even though I cancelled my subscriptionThe issue is resolved now. Thanks for the response fitplan..Version: 3.3.1

Worst app everI downloaded the app and none of the videos are playing . I tried with WiFi and data and excellent connection in both cases but they do not load at all. Total waste of money!!!.Version: 3.5.2

Support is rubbishPicked the 3 month package and once it reverted from the free week to this Apple has charged me but the app does not recognise my status. Asked a question via the app no answer. Just keeps saying away first 7hrs. Then once 7hrs up, 30min for the next 8hrs.Version: 2.1.6

!!!FIX THE APP!!!Let me start off by saying that I absolutely loved the app. I’m using the past tense, because for the last 2 months(at least) the app has been unusable. If your phone locks while in the app the app crashes. If you exit the app to put on music or change a song the app crashes. If you $&@! Look at the phone wrong the app crashes. I paid a decent bit for a year long subscription back when the app worked flawlessly. Now it’s a massive pain to use the app the way it’s intended. I’d absolutely love to be able to recommend the again. But, currently I can’t in good conscience recommend it to anyone. Especially when people that I have recommended it to come back to me complaining that they have paid for something that’s terribly unreliable. But, all loved it back when it worked..Version: 2.5.14

Very disappointedLove the workouts but the app is so spotty Pre downloaded my workouts so I wouldn’t get annoying loading spins during a HIIT session only to get them anyway Next day the app no longer had the videos downloaded so I had to do it again after loading I switched off the app and opened it to find out it had lost the videos again! When I tried to contact support it wouldn’t load either and I just stared at another spinning wheel for 10 minutes Really wanted to use this but it’s unusable.Version: 2.3

Good plans, terrible appI want to preface this by saying that the athletes on Fitplan are wonderful (shoutout to Linn Lowes!) and I love the workout plans themselves. However, the app is terrible. Constant glitches, unintuitive changes to the UI, and they constantly release new updates to the app with features that clearly have not been tested enough. The rest timers don’t make sounds when time’s up, it is impossible to currently change the rest timer duration, the informational videos automatically play with NO OPTION to turn them off, thereby using your data and turning off your music whether you like it or not...the list goes on. With every update, there is a slew of new problems; the developers of this app are seemingly unable to release an update without breaking multiple other aspects of the app. Please, Fitplan, TEST YOUR CHANGES before deploying them! This is absurd and the app is nearly unusable at this point!.Version: 3.0.1

Mediocre workouts, AWFUL functionalityDon’t know who is rating this high, they must have never tried another fitness app on the market. Timer and set functionality is terrible, you have to manually click through each break and each set to continue- talk about ruining the flow of a workout, you have to be back at the phone tapping buttons literally every 30-45 seconds. Awful. Try Nike Training Club or Sweat instead for a timer that integrates with the workout.Version: 3.2.4

No response from support teamDo you guys even have a support team? I’ve been in contact multiple times and noon is getting back to me. Quick to take my money tho, fix the support button on your app and it gives errors..Version: 3.0.13

ChargeThis app charge my account 99$ for a year subscription which i didnt ask for . What a waste dont trust this app..Version: 3.3.2

Bugs not fixed!Videos not working for 3 days now. This is the main selling point of the app. It’s a lot of money for a service that doesn’t deliver. Very disappointed after previously raving about this app..Version: 2.3.4

Impossible to startSign up for a year and thanks god for the 7 day trial as the app is in a loop, every time I want to start a plan a window pops up for me to subscribe to Fitplan, when I already did it!! Annoying.Version: 3.0.13

Not bad...I’m on the 3mo plan for $30-someodd dollars and it’s ok. Not seeing any major differences from any other workout apps out there which you can get way cheaper for a one-time fee. I wish there was a little more information on workouts. I’ve been lifting for years but have never done dropsets. I had to google a drop set and found several different ways to do one (some increasing weight, others lowering weight, etc.). The instructions should be more specific and descriptive. There should also be a timer built in. They tell you to take a 60-90 second break between each workout but don’t count down for you. As soon as you enter the weight and rep amounts, a timer should automatically start.. or at least give you an option to start a timer. Also, there isn’t a place to enter notes about your workout. Maybe I started at too low of a weight, say 60lbs, and want to start @ 80 next time increasing by 20lbs per set. There is nowhere to remind myself of that. App is well built but needs some work..Version: 2.1.12

Too bad you have to give a starCharged my card twice, then refused to refund the payment. Ended up having to claim it back over my credit card company. Reported for fraud..Version: 2.2.5

App has a lot of glitchesIf you accidentally press start workout on a day you don’t work out, there’s no way if correcting that, it will appear like you worked out. And on some days when you do work out, it might no track it. It’s very inaccurate when it comes to monitoring your workout days. It’s unfortunate because the workouts are actually really good, but it’s hard to measure progress when the information is not accurate..Version: 3.0.6

Needs to be updatedThey don't update the exercise routines, they are the same routines from 3 years ago. The application does not work at times, it goes completely black. Very expensive for what it offers.Version: 6.0.4

Great workouts but I want to customise!Would be great if we had the capability to include additional exercises, sub exercises for injuries, switch days around for the split. Otherwise love workout split and exercises.Version: 2.5.12

Great... when it worksThe plans on this app are fabulous. They are clear, easy to follow, and the variety is great. However, the app itself is a nightmare to deal with. It freezes all the time, the timer will randomly not work, the calendar (where you can see a month to month view of workouts done and to do) will sometimes not record a workout, making it look like you never did it. Fitplan rolls out updates constantly, which I keep up with, but there are still more and more problems. I continue to use the app because I love the plans; however, I feel that the price is too high for an app that glitches so much. For now it is worth it to me to pay to continue to access the plans, but in the future I don’t know if paying this much money (on top of a gym membership) will be worth it..Version: 3.0.7

Such a great premiseI want to love this app. I really do love it. Except why would I want to pay for an app that crashes, even on a single day workout? In one single workout this morning, it glitched three times (the videos for exercises wouldn’t load, the sound cuts out, and the exercise video demonstrations moved to the wrong exercises), and then it crashed twice completely. And apparently I logged 10 workouts today instead of the 1 🤷🏼‍♀️ It also bugs me that I constantly had to turn it on again to get the next exercise - is there a way to keep the screen on?.Version: 2.2.17

Really Lousy AppMultiple problems - definitely not worth the price. I tried “Dumbbells at Home” and found that the pounds to use for reps doesn’t show up until AFTER you’ve done a set!?! Also, when I tapped the completion circle after doing a set, it didn’t check off the circle but instead opened up options to change the dumbbell weight pounds instead. Lastly, even though I allowed FitPlan full access to my Apple Health app, it didn’t register any calories burned when I finished the first day of exercise. Of note, the 5-10 second videos that accompany each exercise don’t add any special information to improve form. This app is completely worthless in my book and I highly don’t recommend it to anyone..Version: 5.0.7

Zero starThis app is very misleading. I find it ridiculous that this app won’t let you see the workouts, interfaces or program before you have to sign up for a plan and have your credit card charged yet it is advertised as a free app. What part is free? Again this very misleading and a waste of time..Version: 3.0.7

Price gougingI’ve had this app for two years. I was going to renew and the price has almost doubled? Why? I don’t see any enhancements. In fact I see that some of my favourite trainers are no longer on this app - eg Katie Crewe..Version: 4.0.10

Free plansFrustrating that there are only a small amount of free plans and the subscription is so high. A shame, as the overall interface is quite slick..Version: 2.3

Worst fitness app everThat’s it. That’s the review..Version: 5.0.6

Excersices are amazing , but the app takes so long to work. The trainers are fantastic and have great routines! I am currently doing Melissa’s home work out and it’s a killer! The App is hard to make work. Some times . I have to te start my phone several times untill it lets me open the workout. I sent several email for help but in the past 2 months I haven’t recived an answer. Other than that it’s a fantastic app.Version: 3.0.7

Not worth itThey’ll charge you $28 for this app and you have to pay a month or yearly fee to start the plan!!!!.Version: 2.1.12

LanguageLanguage! Why you don’t give us a chance to better understand to put a traduced on the aps.Version: 6.0.0

Used to be fantastic..This app was great when I first started using it but I feel in the last year it has gone downhill and after I finish my current plan I will probably unsubscribe. There are no longer a lot of options for men and they seem to have deleted a lot of plans for men in the last year and the ones available are not what this app was about a few years ago. It’s seems they care more about finding athletes to create “plans” than actual trainers, and every program now is for beginners, which is fine, but it’s hard to find a plan to take it to the next level. I’ll keep an eye out to see if they add any other types of plans but for now with my goals best to unsubscribe and save the $17..Version: 3.0.6

Great publicty of nothingIts like an empty gift...nice video to easily go n visit the website...but nthng inside the app...installed the app ..saw everythng ...found nothing imp...deleted the app..it was mere 10 min procedure.Version: 2.0.7

Got charged way more than supposedI bought the holiday discount at 50$ annual and got charged 80,50$ CAD it should have been 64$ CAD with conversion rate. I was the balance to be refund..Version: 3.5.6

The give you the run around and charge you without your permissionUnimpressed trying to get ahold of the app.Version: 4.0.6

Sneaky purchasesI just really hate apps that claim to be free until you download them. This is one of those sneaky bastards.Version: 3.0.5

Buggy and doesn’t save workoutsI started a plan and after one day of working out it no longer shows up under my plans and I have to go search for it and start it up again..just for it to say it’s my current plan..but won’t show up under the tab so it’s really irritating. I also did a whole 30 minute workout and the app completely crashed and saved none of my calories or time. When I checked it said I didn’t even start that days workout so I mean come on why would anyone waste money or time on this. So I fast forwarded through the workout so it could show up on the calendar and it said I only worked out for 1 minute and burned 1 calorie. Wish I didn’t pay for the year up front...buy an app that actually works and can actually help with your fitness..Version: 3.5

No way that is there real program! Was excited to see a new app, but was let down. Looks good but it is a gimmick, these are beginner programs (not the real way these people train with advanced training methods) the videos have no exercise instruction (awesome way to injure yourself if you are a beginner) and only slightly better workout logging than you can do on paper. Wow the highest amount of reps I did was 20 on the seated row! Who cares!?! Without any reference to load - again gimmicky. Don't expect to look anything like the models in the videos with this app. What a let down..Version: 2.0.4

Unqualified TrainersI really like the concept of this app. Having plans designed by personal trainers, which you can then follow on your own without having to pay personal trainer prices, sounds amazing. However when I downloaded the app and browsed through the plans, I noticed that a lot of the plans come from people who I would best describe as Instagram influencers. While there are a few "trainers" who are actually certified (Katie Crewe), many are not (Jen Selter, Yanet Garcia). I wish the app listed the credentials and qualifications for each trainer. Having a million Instagram followers is not a legitimate qualification. If I'm going to adopt a fitness plan, I need to make sure that I'm following the advice of a professional so that I don't get injured. Besides all that, I tried a daily workout and didn't like the actual interface either. When the time for the specific exercise ends, the timer just.. stops. It doesn't make a sound or notify you. I had to constantly keep an eye on my phone screen to watch for time, which is annoying..Version: 3.2.5

Watch trackingLove FitgurlMel! So good the only thing is the watch isn’t very good for tracking your workout often freezes and loses what you entered in. Needs work..Version: 2.5.10

App crashes after subscribing!I signed up to to this app and subscribed. Every time I click Train it asks me to answer the same questions I have already answered before and then the app crashes. UNSUBSCRIBED..Version: 2.2.18

Doesn’t workFitplan does not let you family share.Version: 4.0.12

Why are trainers leaving? This app changed my life, I’ve been using for 3 years and completed several plans. I like the format (the new hands free is not great), I like it keeping track of the weight I use and reps, and the weekly goal in the Home Screen. what I loved the most about Fitplan is the variety of trainers and their different plans, but in the last few months two of my favorite trainers plans just disappeared from the app no warning. And it sounds like Linn lowes new plans won’t even be uploaded there but on her private page. The rest of the trainers I follow haven’t uploaded new plans (which I understand w covid), but I’m seriously worried that i would have to find a new app if trainers keep leaving..Version: 3.5.5

Not a happy gym bunnyCan’t really review the app too much as covid pretty much put a stop to any exercise (unless you have the equipment at home) However I’m pretty livid that a re subscription has been taken from my account without any notice what so ever. I purchased a one off pass through an influencer on Instagram not a lifetime pass!.Version: 4.0.0

Need more descriptionSome workouts don’t clearly explain how the whole exercise and the app always glitches. Would not recommend purchasing. Not worth the $100z.Version: 3.0.14

ProgramsSaid I would get a free month if I wrote a review... turns out you have to cancel your subscription and get a refund then buy it again just for the free month and lose your current progress? No thanks..Version: 2.4.3

FreezingThe app freezes so often and I can’t watch the video clips or start the timers and I have tried to exit out of the app and delete it from my recently used apps but it still won’t work. Annoying. I also don’t like the new timer I just updated today. Sometimes it doesn’t track my already done set on a timer and it will let me check that it’s done but then it glitches and says I did 1 millisecond. At least before I could skip or end the timer and adjust my time after. It’s not letting me now. I tried to click app support here on the product page and it sends me to the Fitplan website saying the page doesn’t exist so that’s lame to show a broken link..Version: 3.0.6

Great app but it glitchesI started using this app and it’s amazing, I ended up paying for the year. Then suddenly none of the work outs would load, the app is saying I haven’t done any work outs. So I deleted the app and redownloaded it hoping that would fix it and now I can’t even log back into my account..Version: 6.0.4

Ok appGood app for a range of exercises and fitness instructors however unlike many other fitness apps there’s no sort of nutrition / meal plan which for the money I think they should definitely have. The instructions can sometimes be unclear and it seems the calories go up per minute and not based on actual fitness routine. For the money I’m disappointed and wish I went elsewhere but for beginners its good perhaps.Version: 3.1.0

Almost perfect! Please allow for the swapping of exercises, some of us hate / feel awkward af doing particular exercises but I feel like I’m cheating if I don’t do the entire workout..Version: 3.0

Need improvementsHi I was really excited to buy this app but disappointed in the workouts. I wish there were home workout especially during COVID. And not all of us like going to the gym. It seems like majority of female workouts are for the gym. Also I wish the workouts were full classes as well as broken up.i also notices the audio was not good in some of the videos and the quality of videos weee bad on AirPlay thank you also app hard to go in and out of workouts and my writing in this survey is black so I have no idea of what I’ve written..Version: 3.3.2

Great App, although lacks continuity with other devicesThis app has been great for a routine and to illustrate my progress as I go through the training sessions. The workouts challenge me and the videos are GREAT! The Apple Watch app is a handy device although when I exercise on my Apple Watch I get logged out of the app on my iPhone. When I log back in it does not register the workout I just completed on my watch and have to update manually every time. I’ve resulted not to just stick to using the Watch app, although can’t utilise the whole range of the app now..Version: 2.3.4

The app not working i already paid for a yearCan you fix the it’s not showing anything.Version: 3.5.7

Why?I was charged $26,99. It supposed to be monthly payments.... 3 payment of $9. I don’t understand..Version: 2.2.10

Current app has many bugsFound many bugs with the videos in the workouts - it keeps repeating the same video for different workouts..Version: 5.0.6

Gone downhillGood app but very buggy.. sets don’t save you try and mark them as done. Workouts aren’t great for women and are a lot of at home workouts or light workouts and aren’t good for advanced lifters. Used to have great plans that frequently refreshed with Michelle Lewin and Jen Heward and plans over the last 2 years have gone downhill. Been using this app for over 5 years and likely going to go elsewhere..Version: 5.0.6

OverchargedI keep getting billed twice in a month and didn’t notice until this month so I went back to my transactions and this happened for the last 3 months. How do I get my refund.Version: 3.2.5

App freezingApp freezes on opening. Started after the last upgrade.Version: 2.2.1

“Renew your subscription”First the app has been bugging and saying “cannot load plans” for weeks. At least I was still able to work out with the plan I had started then. Now, the app is asking me to renew my subscription and not allowing me to work out even though Apple indicates that I have a rolling monthly subscription. Tried to contact support but apparently they don’t work on weekends so I can’t log my workouts or anything. Disappointed!.Version: 2.3.2

Has potential, but flawedEven though the exercises themselves show great results and benefits, I felt this program lacked in certain key points. 1. Starting out in a circuit routine to get used to the exercises is a interesting approach, but isn't realistic in a busy gym setting using multiple equipment that has to be shared. 2. Even though given 2-3 days of rest, there were 2-3 exercises that were repeated 2-3 times throughout the week (focus on lower body). Not much rest between those for the muscles to recover. 3. Focus seemed to be only on lower body (3 out of the 5 days). Only 2 days was touched on specifically the upper body, the rest repeated lower body muscle groups 3x. Is this more a leg transformation or a whole body? 4. Needs room for modifications if incapable of sprinting or avoiding certain exercises due to injury. Overall, the exercises were very difficult and challenging, but little time for recovery to be able to keep this routine consistently..Version: 2.5.4

Deceptive cancellation processI decided to get a premium plan to try it out but after a month decided to cancel as I had no time to us this. Within the app, I went through the process of selecting a reason why I’m cancelling and providing feedback, which left me under the impression that the cancellation went through. There was no explanation that you need to in fact go into your settings and cancel this under ‘Subscriptions’, I cancelled it through this method the day after getting billed, which was obviously a shock as I thought the in-app cancellation went through, and tried to seek a refund, which this service is not eligible for, so watch out..Version: 3.0.7

Terrible dev team“Cannot connect to server” message. Anyone else get that? No real reply on Instagram so gave up. No reply by email either - sent images, and steps on how to reproduce - they don’t care - as long as they get your money. They don’t answer any queries either, just give the standard responses and troubleshoot solutions they give everyone - “delete the app and install again” Basically, if you delete your account (as in you want to remove your details) Fitplan don’t do that. Instead, they keep your account on file and you cannot use that email again. Their solution: “use another email”. The developers seem to be very lazy on this app. Not only can you not use the app without internet, they imply that you can delete your email address, when actually your email is blacklisted. And here is a bonus - if you try to log in online you get a white screen..Version: 2.3.15

Not what I thoughtI bought a year plan and expired in January 25th 2025 Paid the whole year and I’m not able to get into my workout plans :( Sent a message and no one answered. So disappointed.Version: 6.0.4

Apple watch app is not working at all.The apple watch app doesn’t work, just freezes at the loading page. So disappointing.Version: 4.0.6

Great workouts but buggy appGreat plans but the app freezes a lot and seems to have quite a few bugs sometimes showing white bar at top of screen, won’t save reps, won’t allow me to submit workout at end of workout. Wouldn’t stop me from using because workouts at great but please fix to improve user experience! Would also be nice to have more info on the workouts from the trainers - suggested weights and ongoing info rather than just workout videos.Version: 2.5.18

Paid but inactive and unable to use. Save your money and time!Fitplan successfully took my payment but I have been unable to use the app for over a week as it is deemed “inactive” via their setting page. I tried to restore the purchase as per the online instructions however no change. I also went into “Manage my subscriptions” to see this month is paid and in fact active and I go back to the app... still inactive and unable to use. Very disappointing to pay for an app that’s inactive..Version: 2.3

I had high hopes for this appI guess I’m the only one who likes the instructor to do the workout with me instead of just demonstrate? I want the gym feeling and feel like I’m in a class, you will get good exercises but you will have a 30 second video showing you the set and then a stopwatch shows telling you the amount of time left to finish the workout. Once the time expires, you must STOP the clock otherwise it counts AGAIN???!!!! I found it not motivating enough for my taste.. I want to play the video, workout and forget it but with this app I’m forced to press the “stop” button every time for every exercise.. ridiculous!! Maybe you guys should pay more money to the instructor so they can do the whole workout like other apps? I do not know whose idea was to set it up like that, but it was a bad one. Sorry..Version: 2.2.19

Needs fixingI love the app, it makes working out easy with plans that are easy to follow. However, it has issues saving my weight data and if I’m paying money monthly this shouldn’t be an issue..Version: 2.2.2

Nothing newLike most of these apps it wants your money before you get anything. Don’t waste your time..Version: 3.1.0

Frustrating appThe basis of the app is good but that’s about where it ends . At the beginning of each workout you have to continuously put in all new weight and reps . Nothing is remembered from Previous workouts so you need to manually put everything back in. It’s time consuming. It’s impossible to track your progress .I’ve tried to point it out with the developers but after a email back they stopped writing . Frustrating app needs further development.Version: 3.0.13

Prenatal workout is unsafe!I was really happy with this app, however I recently discovered I was pregnant and decided to switch my programme to Mona Muresan’s Prenatal Home Fitness. Many of the exercises in this programme are performed flat on the back, which is an unsafe position to be in after the first trimester. Any doctor will tell you to avoid exercises that require you to lie flat on your back due to the following: “After the first trimester, avoid exercising while lying flat on your back. The weight of your uterus puts pressure on a major vein called the vena cava, which can reduce blood flow to your heart and may diminish blood flow to your brain and uterus. This can make you dizzy, short of breath, or nauseated.” Furthermore, studies have recently been released by Tommy’s children charity showing the link of expectant mothers spending long periods on their backs and an increased likelihood of a stillbirth. To have these exercises on a prenatal programme is just irresponsible..Version: 2.4.1

Not intuitiveI enjoy the work outs that are offered by the different trainers but man i find the app not intuitive at all! The timer in particular do not match some of the exercise description especially those connected to circuit type exercises (eg. reps for time or rounds for time). I end up setting up a separate timer and doing the exercise that way rather than in the app..Version: 3.0.12

Fix video downloads!I downloaded this app after I got bored of doing the same classes at the gym, but didn’t want a personal trainer as they’re so expensive! This app has helped me progress my fitness and improve my strength : however the download videos function is really glitchy - please fix this! I have the latest version and always check each video has been dowloaded before I leave for the gym - but end up standing in the gym for ages as the videos don’t load!.Version: 2.3.11
