✓ Let downI love the look and feel of the app. I have a distant hope that one day we can actually get it to work. But until that day comes, it is a buggy app. I don’t think I was ever able to get it to work for more than a call or two. Never for a whole day. ✓ Not connecting at allI’ve read 3-5 y.o. reviews saying that users cannot even establish connection. Thought it was either their mistake or a bug, which would be definitely fixed by now. But it’s not! I have 2 SIP lines from different providers. None got to work. By some miracle a couple of phone calls got trhough although app was still showing it cannot even connect! Support implied it was my provider’s issues, not bugs on their side. Although same lines were working smoothly in their old app Bria, which was not launching with the latest iOS update. So I had to look for alternatives. And I found them. And they ARE working with my lines and same settings. So obviously this is a poor product with absolutely helpless support..Version: 6.5.1

✓ All inbound calls start failing within 20 secondsAll inbound calls start to decline in quality after about 10 to 15 seconds when using the mobile app. People complain it sounds robotic then the call starts breaking up pretty badly after that. This has been doing this for some time. The developers need to start from scratch if they want a half decent app. Very disappointing..Version: 6.14.3

✓ Horrible Customer ServiceWe switched to their new business model using Bria Solo last year and decided not to use it for the app being highly unreliable and unpredictable. It was a good concept, but not reliable for us. Also, the fact that you have to put all user credentials on the app is a security risk on its own. With all the security breaches going around, what makes CounterPath not vulnerable? Anyways, without notice whatsoever, we were charged for another year. We quickly signed in to cancel the service and kindly asked Bria Support to refund the charge since we did not authorize the charge this time around and it’s a product that we do not use. They replied that they won’t be refunding the charge as we “accepted the terms upon subscribing. You will receive a renewal notification in advance of the renewal date”. We never received a notification of the renewal charge, if we had we would had cancelled before hand. The ticket was then automatically closed for me to put any additional comments, so here we are now writing this 1-star review. If anyone at CounterPath cares, the ticket # is 56883. We simply want a refund. Thanks and I hope this helps other customers as well..Version: 6.5.4
✓ It’s unusable on a brand new phoneBrand new iPhone 12 Pro Max and this won’t work at all. It registers then totally freezes. You quit it and even though it’s not running it’s still plays the dialtone sounds that it’s calling out. Then I try using Safari or the camera and they are all frozen. I had to physically uninstall this app which took forever as it completely broke my phone nothing would respond. Now my phone is back to being perfect again. Really disappointed as it did this for all 5 of my users so obviously a Bria issue..Version: 6.4.1
✓ Terrible App - No SupportI have been a long time user of Bria and recently received notice that my Bria 5 was no longer supported. After installing Bria Solo it will not stay registered unless I have the app pulled up on the Home Screen of my phone and therefore I do not receive calls if I am doing anything else on my phone or even when my phone is locked. The app has to be pulled up and phone not locked to work. WORTHLESS! Also no support number to call and support doesn’t respond when opening support tickets. Terrible service!.Version: 6.6.3

✓ Keeps de-registeringFor a paid service this is a bit rubbish. Every time I open the app (when it’s been running in the background) I find its never connected to my SIP service. That means when I think I’m connected and reachable, I’m actually not! It also means I have to wait 30 seconds for the SIP account to register before I can make a phone call. My attempt to reach out was deflected and I was asked to contact someone else. Not great and unless this is sorted as a matter of urgency I won’t be keeping this after the trial..Version: 5.1.4

This happens so often. When I log off and come back in it’s good for the first call only again. When it works it’s great but I have had this problem on numerous occasions. ✓ No Refund Despite Limited FunctionalityI signed up for Bria Solo but faced several issues. The trial expired before my VoIP number could be ported, and though it lists monthly pricing, the minimum subscription required is for a full year. Key features like SMS and reliable voice transmission were lacking; my voice quality was so poor that I was inaudible. Additionally, the voicemail system failed to recognize my caller ID. After switching to another product, I requested a refund within a month of purchase but was denied based on their policy. Buyer beware..Version: 6.15.2
