Freeletics Nutrition for Negative User Reviews

Could be great! Most of the recipes sound great but I have food restrictions that aren’t available to add in the restrictions portion. I don’t eat beans and I’m gluten free, it seems like most of these have one or the other..Version: 1.27.1

Doesn’t help with planning aheadTo be successful I need to visualize the meals that I’ve selected for the week. While the app allows you to make a grocery list...I need to be able to save the recipes I selected for each day to know how to plan that day! 😞 I love the workout app but this nutrition one needs work pronto for better planning. I feel like I’m not going to be successful without the menu/nutrition portion working out. Guess I will find another plan that’s more intuitive. Money wasted..Version: 1.28.5

Good recipes, but expensiveThe app had many good tasting recipes that left me feeling full and comfortable with the servings sizes. On the other hand, there definitely should be more recipes added that include meats (other than eggs). Another problem was that most recipes called for one or two rare ingredients that you couldn't find in your local supermarket. The ingredients are also very expensive, I would like some cheaper options that don't make me spend upwards of 100$ + a week on groceries..Version: 1.30.1

Poor functionalityI like the look of the recipes here but there is a fundamental flaw with this *expensive* app. You cannot bookmark the recipes you like, so that once you buy the ingredients, you have to scroll through every single recipe again to find the instructions to cook Absolutely ridiculous!.Version: 1.3.1

So-soThe actual meal content here is ok, however, it was in no way tailored to my body weight and size. Portions were enormous and would last me at least two to three meals. Nor did the app communicate with its partner exercise app!! What is that all about? When you start a routine to overhaul your fitness you expect the nutrition and exercise to go hand in hand...not here! It’s not actually very easy to tailor to your dietary needs either. A year later and there is still no modification for no-dairy! Waste of money! And customer service didn’t really seem to think this was a problem..Version: 1.30.0

HorribleI have to pay to get a calendar with the same receipts but in different order every week. I'm still wondering why is this app worthy. I will try to take my subscription money back for sure. Horrible experience.Version: 1.1.1

Great app but...Could use a better search feature in the recipe section along with a favourites section to easily go back to recipes you have tried and really enjoyed. App is free to use - but only the recipes. You have to pay a subscription to use the coach/meal schedule area. The subscription works with all their apps (running, body weight, gym) - one price to use them all..Version: 1.28.5

Good but can be betterThe Coach suggestions on food is great, but your tied into what they suggest bar the ability to make a couple of limited changes. Would be good if you could have your favourite and build a meal plan around them, but you are unable to really plan a shopping list because you end up spending a fortune on food which you may or may not eat. Don’t get me wrong the recipes are great, but having the ability to plan better and to have your favourites which are “batch cookable” and also recognising that your eating foods that aren't on your daily planner..Version: 1.30.1

Expected MoreWhile the recipes itself are good, I’m not impressed with the interface. I literally need to confirm every meal in a day to get the grocery list. Also, there’s no option to select how much repetition you want etc. there’s no way I have the time to prepare something different every single day. I’d have really liked the option to meal prep. Also there’s no search function within the recipes? This effectively means I can’t substitute meals based on ingredients I have. I literally have to scroll through every recipe to find something that interests me. Also there’s no option to swap the meal itself, other than from the 3 provided options. For example, I wanted to choose the previous days dinner for the next day too, however there’s no option to do that. The app is nothing but a glorified recipe book..Version: 1.28.6

Doesn’t cater to vegansI recently started the Freeletics body weight program and am so far enjoying it. In the subscription I got, it included the nutrition coach. I am a vegan, and though I can omit recipes that contain meat, the recipes I am given do not cater to people who avoid animal byproducts. Please add vegan recipients, I truly believe this can be a great app!.Version: 1.28.4

Pretty pictures, but should be freeA lot of the recipes are strange (cucumber, carrot and quark shake, for instance), and I can find comparable (less weird) healthy recipes online for free. Also the app doesn't have any notifications so you forget about it, and doesn't give you the option to tailor the recipes to a certain number of servings. Wish I could get my $50 back!.Version: 1.0.1

Limited FlexibilityI understand the coach is supposed to work to guide your meal planning but if you want to switch dinners from one day to another there is no way to do this. Further, the options are very limited; I feel like the options almost push me to find other free healthy recipes online. May work for some but just doesn’t fit my shift work lifestyle..Version: 1.28.4

Good works but over confusing nutritionI’ve given up on this app which is a shame as the workout app is great. The app keeps sending to try and access content through a browser.Version: 1.30.0

Difficult to followThe meals are difficult to follow. When I am doing a recipe in the book, the phone screen turns off so I have to re-enter my password to view the recipe. Also, the journal isn’t user friendly..Version: 1.28.6

Not updated to run on iPhone 11The last update was at least 1 year ago. Its pretty buggy and somehow behaves weirdly when I try to use it on my other phone. Recipes seem to not sync even though I‘m opening the app and am waiting for quite some time. But sometimes, it does sync an I see the recipes. Also, the app is still not fitted to the iPhone 11 screen (and I‘d assume many other models). Further, apart from those bugs, it‘s really way past time for some more recipes and functions, like being able to customize recipe sizes..Version: 1.30.1

Needs a reset optionI haven’t used the app in months and I don’t like seeing that I haven’t been following the diet in 21 weeks. Please add a reset feature that lets me restart from week 1. It’s a lot more motivating that way..Version: 1.28.5

No vegan optionA shame.Version: 1.6

Unable to change meal size or specific foods to avoidThis app does have some good ideas for recipes. However, I have a personal aversion to peppers and tofu, and I've been given four or five recipes for two days that have those in them. The only food preferences you can put are basically whether or not you're vegetarian, vegan, etc. Plus, it automatically decides what 'size' meal suits you best. I can tell you right now there's no way I'd be able to eat half of what it's giving me for each recipe..Version: 1.8

AwfulThis app is useless the recipes are disgusting!.Version: 1.21

Allergies??Completely agree with other reviews that a bulk prep section should be added, but also the ability to add more to good preferences. At the moment there’s no way to filter out dairy, gluten or nuts, etc.Version: 1.28.6

Recipes are not updatedAfter about 8 month of using same recipes it became annoying, I’ve stopped to use the app. Dear developers please add or update the list of recipes..Version: 1.28.6

Decent recipe list - restrictive without filtersThe recipes are alright, however the proportions are all off in some of them and, more importantly, not being able to filter by allergy (nuts, legumes, etc) is pretty disappointing. Also the rigidity of only using the pre-made meals or “eating out” is discouraging for those without cooking experience to know what can substitute for what - really ruins the gameplay experience of tracking your meals..Version: 1.30.0

Good but yet another subscriptionIt's a good addition to the rest of the Freeletics apps but I think most people like myself won't find themselves using the coach functionality. I would prefer to see a free version with just the recipes for those who subsrcribe to the coach plan on one of the other apps. As it is right now I can't justify paying a monthly subscription for a recipe book, regardless of how helpful..Version: 1.12

MehNeeds vegan recipes!.Version: 1.6

Can’t access my profile on the appThe app freezes when you press the profile icon and the right end side of the screen! Can it be fixed. I want to change my diet settings!!!.Version: 1.22

Absolute garbage nutritional adviceTheir workout apps are really good, but their nutritional advice is based on industry funded science and it ignores a wealth of peer-reviewed literature. If you follow their advice, you may get in outward physical shape and it might be a slight improvement over what you currently eat if you eat a lot of junk, but you’re also likely to still have a significant risk of getting a major chronic disease like heart disease or stroke, and bodily inflammation (like in my knees when I used their recipes). Just eat lots of plants and download their workout app and you’re likely to get strong and have a nice, healthy circulatory system and heart. Stay away from the dead bodies, breast milk, and eggs..Version: 1.30.0

Needs more recipesGenerally speaking it’s a decent app, but using it long-term is difficult. The recipes get super repetitive. If you have any dietary restrictions (or heaven forbid don’t like eggs), you’ll be able to last a max of 6-8 weeks before you’re fed up..Version: 1.30.1

Never WorksSpinning wheel every time I try to use it. Only app that doesn’t work for me..Version: 1.30.1

Not suitable for lactose intolerantRecipes are good and is a neat app. However, there is no option to filter out dairy products so unfortunately is not usable for me..Version: 1.30.0

I prefer vegan optionsI.Version: 1.30.1

Good App, Could Be GreatI used to use this for meal planning back in early college days when I was an athlete and didn’t know how to eat or cook. Recently downloaded it again to encourage me to quit ordering food and get my full servings of fruits and veggies and the recipes are delicious and nutritious. I am always full after a meal, and usually have food leftover. I just have a few issues with the app overall that most people have already mentioned. You can know you’re repeating meals, but the app makes it difficult to track that and so many of the meals are to be cooked and eaten immediately which isn’t always practical (especially for work lunches). Right now, you can only filter based on diet (no red meat, pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan, etc) and while I can easily monitor my own allergens, I would like at the very least to be able to say “don’t suggest this recipe again” or “don’t show me for [x amount of] days.” My biggest gripe is that it doesn’t allow for you to shop seasonally. It would make my life so much easier if I could filter based on the season so that I don’t have to constantly search for an alternative meal because the app wants me to shop like it’s mid summer instead of mid winter and my budget says no..Version: 1.30.1

For people who really have no prior knowledgeThe recipes are so boring. And really limited. I wish there was a way to keep cooking what I normally cook and just check the calories and quantities to make sure I’m staying in track. Plus I live in the uk and things like fennel, etc are virtually impossible to find..Version: 1.28.6

Bad app. Don't fall for fake reviews. The recipes taste terrible. The app itself is very poorly organized to the point where it is unusable for its purpose. They say they'll charge you a couple dollars a week, yet hit you with a year long subscription for over $100. There are much better apps than this. Don't waste your time here.Version: 1.22

Awesome recipes just need a more on the go styleI love the recipes in this and I follow the guidelines I just wish that the recipes were more on the go friendly. My job has me on call and I don't have time to cook all four meals a day, sometimes I don't get home to cook at all. I cook the recipes as I can but most of the time I end up packing fruits and vegetables and eating those throughout the day. I would love suggestions on what would be best to eat as is if you can't cook because you're not home..Version: 1.13

Needs bulk preparation featureI used the app for years and loved it, but it's unrealistic - you can't cook four meals a day on a busy lifestyle. I saved to another app that has a bulk preparation feature so now I only cook a couple of nights. I'd come back running to freeletics if you guys add support for weekly batch cooking..Version: 1.28.5

Good but needs improvementThe recipes are good but it every day has a different set up which means (a lot of shopping) comparing to f45 meal plan for example in which you're advised to make bigger portions and eat the leftovers next day..Version: 1.30.1

Not good for veganThe app has filters for food restrictions but the vegan filter pulls back recipes with milk, egg, cheese and other dairy..Version: 1.28.5

NopeMy coach DOESNT EVEN WORK. all i get is a “connection doesn’t work” and i’m at home with wifi. i literally payed for something that doesn’t work..Version: 1.25

If you want a recipe book...that’s what it is.That’s all the “coach” is.... unlocking the recipes that are locked. The only personalized thing is the meat protein you don’t eat, your weight, height, age and region. I still haven’t seen the 7 day plan, just one new suggestion every day of 3 recipes for each meal. No ingredients substitutes unless in the milk and yogurt area. It does not take in consideration any personal tastes. “Tailored for you” is a huge stretch. There’s no real coach behind it. Probably just an algorithm. And you get a few messages every day. You can’t even pick and chose the meals from the suggestions and to your “day”, for exemple. You can only click on ‘I cooked this” and you get a star. How cute! Or put in your shopping list. I am not saying it doesn’t work. They are just not ver forthcoming about what it really is. Customer service offered me a refund, but I have to contact iTunes for that, which is proving very unsuccessful so far. They should refund it themselves!.Version: 1.28.3

No on-boarding - all or nothingThis is a good app for someone who already has a perfectly clean pantry stocked with most of what’s needed for the recipes, with only the need to get a few extra items. For the rest of us, there is no way to ease into the clean eating recipes laid out in the app. The Nutrition Coach would benefit from journeys like the Fitness Coach app has to bring the user onboard and help them transition their eating habits and food supply to get on track. Otherwise, unless you literally throw out all of your food and go shopping for only the things in the recipes, you have to eat to get yourself immersed in the coach plan..Version: 1.30.1

Recipes I’m just not keen onThe recipes on offer are indeed healthy, but they’re honestly a bit much for my tastebuds to handle. Furthermore, I just can’t make myself recipes like these all the time; some are quite expensive and laborious to make, and others are really offensive to my palate. Where are the basic healthy recipes that don’t make me feel sick?.Version: 1.30.1

No flexibilityThe recipes are good but the app is not practice for meal planning. There are there limited options per meal and unless you feel like one of the ones forced upon you, there is no point for the app. Further, there is no ability to track macros. It’s just a recipe app at best. A bit disappointing really..Version: 1.28.6

This is NOT a nutrition tracker!!!This is a recipe book. I don’t want any of their recipes. I was under the impression this was a nutrition guide and tracker. It wouldn’t be bad to INCLUDE recipes, but if you want follow this get ready to shopping, start cooking, for every single meal..Version: 1.26

Nothing free about this app at allDon't bother, you have to give them your details so they can sell them to marketing companies, I mean get into the app, then when you login you can't access any service until you have subscribed to a 'coach' at a special offer price of £55 per month, think I'll just join a gym instead it'll be cheaper. ZERO STARS !!!.Version: 1.0

Not a bad first effortOrganization of recipes is confusing as they imported the same mythology naming system as their workout apps. Doesn't really work here. Also can't log macros into Apple Health like its competitors can (eg. fitmencook)..Version: 1.0

No vegan options, no dealCome on, It’s 2019. Not being able to choose no dairy on top of no meat, is a fail. PS: don’t #ClapClap me..Version: 1.28.4

Should be 'Feeletics'Love how these apps are under the name 'Freeletics' but there is very little free about them. I'll stick to more affordable options such as cook books and writing in a diary, thanks..Version: 1.0

I truly wish to refund my moneyThis app is not optimized for iPhone. this is hasn’t been update like since iPhone 5 probably does not have a calories counter I’ve been using the app for three days and I’m regretting buying this app but I truly love the Freeletics app. I’ve been using it for over a year(Freeletics ) I am in the level 63..Version: 1.30.1

BrokenThe Coach tab won't show me the calendar control, so I can't change the day. This means I can't use it and see what it recommends. Please fix asap. Also, the contact us link doesn't work in the app..Version: 1.30.1

Vegan recipes with eggs 😂I find navigating the recipes to be a bit of a pain. You can substitute ingredients as far as I can see. Each recipe I saw tended to be fairly high in fat, contains cheese. Would be nice to search based on macro preferences / amount of calories / edit recipes. I paid for the training and nutrition but kind of regret that choice..Version: 1.30.1

High potential, low usability, degrading qualityThe quality of this app is constantly degrading and features dont seem to improve. Every time they make a release, a ton of features get broken. if you still care to improve the app: 1. Integration with other freeletics apps and iPhone's health app. That should automate tracking of activity and body measurement reading. 2. ability to add shopping items individually 3. Offline access to meal plans, like for the coming week 4. Ability to sort shopping list by alphabet, item type or other metrices 5. Ability for users to mark meals for cooking from recommendations. I frequently find myself unsure of what i previously decided to cook for a certain day. 6. Subscription is pricey. Consider adjusting price..Version: 1.20

Don’t be fooled by the high reviewsDo the exercises on the Freeletics app but the nutrition isn’t worth it at all, the meals are completely unsatisfying and you pay but there’s no customisation. You have to choose the meal yourself and can add the ingredients to a shopping list which is good but then when you go back to cook it you still have the choice of three meals so you have to remember which one you’ve bought the ingredients for. Meals don’t change each week either so it’s just you paying for a basic meal plan. You’re better off just getting a free meal plan online..Version: 1.30.1

Doesn’t work anymoreThe app is loading and never show anything i just paid to be able to watch a loading screen.Version: 1.30.1

Good idea butIt’s just impractical and inflexible. It would be much better as a cookbook you could download but give this a pass. It’s too expensive for what you get..Version: 1.26

Good so farPut some winter recipes. It's not nice eating frozen berries and yoghurt in winter. The recipes are only thought for the Northern hemisphere. The options are very limited if you want something different for that day..Version: 1.30.1

I'm brokeI'm tired of trying to use these apps to try and be healthy but you just end up having to pay monthly to use most of the features.Version: iOS App 1.18

Usable but needs more featuresDoes a good job cutting down the meal planning time and effort - my top need. Generally easy and tasty recipes, broadens my culinary horizon, gets me out of same-recipe rut. Needs more customization features such as ability to use leftovers as a next meal or excess ingredients (substitute a meal?) otherwise star awards are meaningless. Would like ability to mark a recipe as the selected option for the meal (a workaround exists if there is ability to sort the recipes added to the shopping list by date of meal). Really need the expanded options to limit specific foods for allergies/sensitivities - please hurry! I plan to keep using the current version for recipe suggestions..Version: 1.11

Not much info.I would like a refund for the in app purchase for coach subscription for the nutrition app. It doesn't cater to my nutritional needs nor is it very comprehensive. How do I go about cancelling the subscription?! There's no info on the app..Version: 1.1.1

VarietyIt has few variety of food.Version: 1.24

App not workingI went in the app, but to my surprise the app is not working. Its not loading anything brings up different error messages: "Connection error" and "An error occurred while loading the messages".Version: 1.8

Lots of wasteThe recipes are set out so that you end up with lods of different dairy products sitting in your fridge unused and going offZ Too many different types of similar ingredietns..Version: 1.30.1

Good app, would like to see more feedback on how it's determining what I should eatWhen I get a new meal plan each week, it would be good to see why it's suggesting each of the meals/sizes etc. Also, would be great to see the "I've made this meal" log the calories in the Apple Health app! 👌.Version: 1.15

Saving RecipesThere are a lot of recipes to choose from but when I find one I like I can’t save it to a favourite folder. It seems like you can only put it in the shopping cart. Simple feature that would save time looking for the same recipe every time..Version: 1.30.1

Not goodNot even working.Version: 1.12

Great food but coach needs improvementMeals are great and most I've tried have been tasty. Although I'm not vegan there are lots of vegan options and I would be surprised if you couldn't find a few meals you liked. Shopping basket function is great for planning meals and makes shopping a lot easier to plan. Unfortunately no option to change portion sizes even with coach subscription. I'm assuming there is some algorithm behind coach subscription but there doesn't seem to be any patterns so all seems a bit random. Unfortunately the variety in the coach subscription is almost it's downfall, the meal plans are so different every day it means shopping costs a fortune and meal prep time is crazy. It means cooking approx 24 meals for a week. I would caution coach subscription until it is simplified, unless you have tons of time on your hands..Version: 1.6

Not really for meI tried to like this, but I couldn’t find any food options that I liked. I’m not happy with the choices it gives me for each meal. The ingredients, I either don’t have access to in my town or I flat out don’t like them. I’ve had the app for two years and not once did I make anything… the images all just looked so boring - bland and unappetizing. I think that’s what stops me the most, the images. They don’t get me excited to cook. Every time I open it, I disappoint myself. The only reason why I still have it is because it came with the other Freeletics fitness app..Version: 1.30.1

Great recipes, completely impracticalAs a programmer I really don’t understand how hard it could possibly be to simply add a feature that lets you select one or two recipes for the week (like other apps do), but that’s the biggest problem with this app. Not sure what’s going on with whoever is leading this dev team but Jesus just add the feature. If you want the app for good recipes then sure but if your actually trying to track anything in a practical way just use another app... Such a waste of good recipes..Version: 1.30.1

Lack of options for dietary restrictionsI was super excited to use this app but disappointed with the lack of filters (hopefully there will be more soon). As someone with lots of allergies and dietary restrictions (nuts, peanuts, legumes, beans, chickpeas, etc.), it would be great to have more options!.Version: 1.30.0

Decent recipes, but impracticalThe good: this app breaks down what you should eat, including portion sizes, for five meals a day (including two snacks). It generates meals for a whole week and has a shopping list function to collect items you need. I’ve really enjoyed some of the meals I’ve had through it and it’s helped me figure out how to eat better, even in a week. The bad: no regular person will shop for a different meal a day with completely different ingredients, especially if they’re just starting out. I spent two hours on a Sunday flipping through all the recipe options to make a cohesive shopping list, but not every meal is available on every day for whatever reason, which is suboptimal for tracking and cooking, too. There’s also no way to add in modifications to track general calories or how well you’re keeping on track. Some recipes are also just strange — e.g., three pieces of bread for two slices of turkey, or three hard boiled eggs for one meal (that’s way too much egg). This is a good guide and I’ve made some delicious stuff, but it’s way too overwhelming and not nearly flexible enough. I use it in conjunction with MyFitnessPal to track modifications and how I’m doing for the day..Version: 1.28.6

RubbishNothing free about this. You have to pay a lot of money to get anywhere..Version: 1.1

Mrs RawlingsI been using this app for 2 years, my menu never change, if i have any questions no one to get in touch,if you don’t want this app after the first year make sure you unsubscribe otherwise it continues without you knowing about it and you CAN NOT get refund.Version: 1.30.1

Just recipesI am a vegetarian allergic to soy. I have a diet that isn’t unhealthy but could use a little clean up. I wish I knew this how the nutrition app worked before I bought the plan. It is just a collection of recipes iterated ~ doesn’t help those who already have a custom diet. The recipes are tasty though..Version: 1.26

FYIApp is free to download, but you must pay per week for their service. They tell you this after you had already set up account, confirmed email and logged in for this first time..Version: 1.28.3

Stay awayUnfortunately this app doesn’t s badly organised. I couldn’t understand what to do next and the current meal plans seem very limited Not enough variety and I can’t see myself using this It feels like an immature app when it comes to the amount of content/flexibility and the way it was organised.Version: 1.30.1

Menu selection functionality needs to be improvedThe app is good, recipies are good and easy. But the functionality is not the best. Even after doing your shopping list and selecting your meals for the week it still shows you all of the other options, which makes it hard to keep track on your selected meals for the week..Version: 1.30.1

Item misold no refund not happy!Very misleading!.Version: 1.28.6

More efficiency please...The app doesn’t allow food prepping... you’re bound to the choices you’re given. I generally prep all my meals (3 different choices for 7 lunches and 7 dinners) on the weekend. If I’d follow the app I’d have to make 8-10 different meals. That’s simply impossible. The choice of recipes is good, but the app is just not practical for standard food prepping....Version: 1.28.5

Great concept - but unrealisticThis product is great if you are an Instagram influencer or work part-time. The recipes are delicious, with great content pushed to you to educate as you go. The ability to add a recipe to a (then) aggregated shopping list is perfect. Just enough choice - but not too much. Why two stars? It doesn’t seem to understand human life and how time is an important consideration. The app is present moment, and so doesn’t support in meal-planning and the practical execution of healthy eating. Few people have the time to make 5-6 recipes for each day unless it’s your full-time job. I’d build in a feature which allows you to identify what you can bulk prepare. Integrate the calendar to book out prep time and reminders to order the online shop. Nutrition is not just about eating. It’s about buying and preparing also. “I’ve got the ingredients for this” and “I’ve prepped this” are two steps which are completely missing from the journey. Integrate it into our lives and this will be a great product!.Version: 1.28.4

Nutrition app reviewI was a little disappointed with the nutrition app as the Freeletics work outs are so good and I really enjoy this. It was annoying that the workouts didn’t sync with the nutrition. In the same app. So therefore on a day you maybe doing exercise your dietary requirements maybe different to when you are not. You could add a work out in the nutrition app and it gives u a post work out snack but I just feel this could be more integrated. I think there are good recipes but it doesn’t cater for someone who is not at home all the time. Also I found it difficult to source some of the ingredients that I ended up going to 2/3different supermarkets to get the food. I think more shorter recipes would be helpful for taking to work and lunches. Also being able to use some of the same ingredients in a few recipes would be helpful as I think making 3 completely different meals for breakfast lunch and dinner 7 days a week is just too unrealistic. Essentially that app has given me a guide and A few different useful recipes. But apart from that I don’t feel it has done anything extra then looking up your own healthy recipes in a cook book. I feel that it needs a little bit more bespokeness to keep people coming back each month paying for more..Version: 1.30.1

Refund me backYou've taken money from my account which I never processed with HR staff. They owe me money.Version: 1.30.1

Freeletics NutritionMeals are too complicated. It needs to be nice and simple, with an option to keep breakfast the same (who wants to make a new crazy breakfast each day?)..Version: 1.25

Good meal recommendations but some shortcomingsI like the design overall, and it suggests interesting recipes. However, it would be nice if some things were improved: - Integration with HealthKit - Ability to rotate a meal to another day (e.g. maybe plans change and you eat out on a day you were intending on meal prepping, so you eat the meal prepped food later) - Portion sizes seem really large, and I’m a person who habitually eats quite a bit. I end up skipping most of the afternoon snacks because I don’t need as much food as the app suggests, and I put in that I’m sedentary.Version: 1.25

Not thought through - expensive - disappointingThe app assumes you have time to make each meal - when asking questions about your eating habits you can only have one habit - comfort or bordom not both! The meals aren't to my tast I struggled to find anything I could possibly eat. I also work full time so totally impractical. Don't waste your money..Version: 1.9

Prenez gardeTrès décus et frustrer... Cette application nous oublige a leur divulger nos information personnelle pour jouer a celui-ciz.Version: 1.3

Odd mealsThe meals are limited and contain ingredients that are not readily available in some location. There is not much choice of alternate meals..Version: 1.30.1

Terrible appI have had nothing but trouble with this app. I ignored the previous reviews and downloaded anyway, thinking they had worked the bugs out. I purchased a 3 month subscription that will not show on the application. When I try to go in to restore the purchase or alter my user data, the app crashes. Speaking of crashing, it does that all the time. Don't waste your time or money on this. There has to be a better app out there!.Version: 1.1

Waste of time if you’re not buyingLiterally 6 recipes and a shopping list feature, that’s all you get from the freebie..Version: 1.28.3

Not enough choice for athletesThe most bad nutrition apps I have. Same recipes every day and week. If you change the level of effort is still the same to. the recipes are too simple example : apple and peanut butter - seriously!.Version: 1.30.1

VarietyI love in a place where I cannot get some of the odd ingredients in these recipes even though I would like to. It would be nice if one of the three options every meal had very simple ingredients..Version: 1.28.6

Cannot get the app to loadThe app is useless. I cannot get it to load even when I have my VPN on. I can get the running and workout apps to open easily and they are great, but this has not worked for me..Version: 1.30.1

Used to love this appI used this app years ago when the meal plans were free, there were great recipes but the app is pretty much unusable now. Difficult to select recipes for the grocery list and there seems to be a lot of glitches when generating the list. For example, - 3 bell peppers - 2 red bell peppers - 1 1/2 green bell peppers There used to be a lot more functionality, I seem to remember being able to choose meal prep friendly options and other things. I came back to Freeletics just for the meal plans, but it’s very expensive and not worth it anymore. Which is a shame because the recipes were great..Version: 1.30.1

Missing caloriesShould incorporate calorie count per individual.Version: 1.28.6

Going to the gymThe menu options are good, actually fantastic. The app needs more physical on line advice. I use freeletics and the gym app, go to the gym in the evening before my dinner. There should be an option to say when the gym is used, in my case before dinner. So that the portion size can be adjusted..Version: 1.28.4

Streamline the shopping listDear Freeletics, LET US USE OUR LEFTOVERS! Why do I only need a splash of coconut for one recipe out of the whole week? That is impractical. Y’all are smart. Figure it out. There needs to be a way to maximize the ingredients. People buy food days at a time. I hate how much food waste this app suggests..Version: 1.30.1

Bait and switchThere is no free version, despite what they tell you..Version: 1.0

Taken it off my menu...First off, I absolutely love Freeletics and use all their other apps on a daily basis. I love the coach subscription and it has made working out fun, challenging and hugely rewarding. That said, I'm glad I only bought a three month subscription to this Nutrition app. I won't be renewing it. I love the idea behind it, but it seems to assume that you have a massive budget to buy the all the ingredients for the meals, and loads of time to prepare it. I don't have either. I want a simple, easy to prepare with everyday foods nutrition app. This isn't it. Sorry.....Version: 1.1.1

Costs moneyThis sucked, you have to pay for access to anything.Version: 1.17

Decent but won’t be resubscribingThis app has lots of really good recipes. I like that most of them are vegetarian. The reason for the scoring low is cause I just find it’s way to expensive if you eat the way it plans meals. Suggestion would be if you have a recipe that includes half of say an eggplant either have the same recipe for the next day or some how incorporate the remainder of the food in a different recipe instead of lets saying wasting half an egg plant (I know eggplants are cheap but first thing to come to my head) or other more pricey things. Also another suggestion would be to break down the calorie and macros for individual ingredients instead of over all. Ig. There are many type of bread that rage in nutritional value so if you’re counting calories/macros just to make sure you’re eating the right amount for your goals you have the most accurate information that you can get. And one last suggestion would be to have a like and dislike option for recipes. So if you like something it shows up more often and if you don’t like a recipe it stops showing up..Version: 1.28.6

Recipes are too difficultNutrition doesn’t sync with the training app and recipes are too difficult to prepare. Can we get something simpler? Or at least bulk prep..Version: 1.30.1

Not intuitiveWhile I enjoy many of the recipes, the site severely lacks organization. It is difficult to manage shopping lists and the recipe layout based on meal type is scattered and unhelpful..Version: 1.28.6

Even more waste of money than og appVery few recipes and ALL of them need ingredients akin meat of dodo bird or black tomatoes..Version: 1.30.1

Not a lot of flexibility/ practicalityThe shopping list needs to be divided into grocery store sections (produce, dairy, etc) The meals are okay but the option to meal plan for the week (ie making a meal 3x a week or something would be good..Version: 1.25

Avoid - disgusting ethicsDO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY OF YOUR MONEY - THEY ARE THIEVES. THEY RELY ON AN AUTO-RENEWAL SYSTEM THAT DOES NOT WARN YOU BEFORE TAKING MORE MONEY - AND EVEN CONTACTING THEM ON THE *SAME DAY* YOU RECEIVE YOUR RECEIPT FOR PAYMENT FOR 3 MORE MONTHS USE, THEY REFUSE TO REFUND YOU. I DON’T CARE WHAT THEIR TERMS SAY - THAT’S THEFT. IF THEY WERE AN ETHICAL COMPANY THEY’D DO WHAT EVERY OTHER SUBSCRIPTION BASED APP DOES AND EMAIL YOU PRIOR TO COLLECTING MORE MONEY. PICK A COMPANY WITH BETTER ETHICS AND MORALS. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BUSINESS MODEL..Version: 1.1

OK. But needs workI've downloaded the app in hope it would assit my goals I've already begun with two other of Freeletics apps. Firstly, a little dissappointed I have to pay an additional subscription. You would have thought two is already enough. Second, despite the great UI/UX, the content is average. Nothing specific or any better than what is already out there (for free). Third, the community aspect is still missing (but that is a general problem as opposed to this specific app). Finally, as mentioned above, no integration with other Freeletics apps. This is my biggest issue. Why is this so hard? Surely they could also package this as part of a broader deal? Maybe this is in the pipeline. But untill then, I will holding back from investing into Freeletics..Version: 1.0

UnrealisticThe recipes are interesting but so many ingredients per week is unrealistic. So much food waste and expensive to do it that way, not to mention time consuming. A true meal plan would thoughtfully reuse ingredients through the week so that you only have to shop for the minimum..Version: 1.28.6
