Tally: The Anything Tracker for Negative User Reviews

Can’t count on Apple WatchSays it works with Apple Watch. I can see the tally but nothing happens when I tap. No numbers change on the watch but when I go into the phone app, it shows multiple counts. Then can’t undo the extra counts. Maybe because I’m just trying the free level but not interested in paying if this doesn’t work on the most basic level..Version: 1.21.9

Cannot record the decrementCannot record the decrement. Sometimes I count the mark/credit of my performance. It is difficult to deduct the counter. Second, cannot automatically add multiple counter together for reviewing..Version: 1.9.1

Disappointed :(Great idea and beautiful design, but the functionality is definitely lacking :( Counter doesn’t reset at midnight - it’s almost like the app lives in a different time zone? The iPhone app isn’t reading the data input from Apple Watch, either..Version: 1.24.2

Ridiculously overpricedFor what it is, the price they expect you to pay / subscription by the way - is ridiculous. You can find ad free and zero cost tally apps, I suggest using one of those instead..Version: 1.22.0

Apple Watch app doesn’t workI try to click a tally and nothing happens even after resetting it. It also takes forever to sync with tallies I do on my phone. :(.Version: 1.21.14

Not too bad but, In App Purchase is neededI was actually very impressed when I tried this app. I started to get everything set-up and dialled in the way I wanted. For many years, I have been using the Apple Reminders app for my daily tracking. I was seriously thinking about switching to this app. That was until I realized you can only track 3 habits in the free version. Anymore than that and you’ll be faced with a $9 payment barrier..Version: 1.13.1

Almost usefulSo let’s start with the good ones. The app is great with tracking and giving you a timestamp the last time you marked a tracker. The problem I find is that synchronizing your watch with the phone doesn’t always seem to give you the right, timestamp. my sum would be summarizing with things I tracked the day before and it’s very annoying There are no support to shortcuts nor the widgets are as useful.Version: 1.24.3

Cost of subscription is ridiculousI like this app. Clean, easy interface, great sounds, nice tracking stats. I wish there were a couple of additional features - like specifying the decimal places in a custom tally (why have two decimals if I’m just adding a .5 tally each time?), and the ability to set both good AND bad goals - tallies you want to reach and tallies you want to stay below - with different sounds/graphics (one good type and one bad type) that play if you reach the goal. My main gripe is the cost of this app. $30 for premium? Per year?? Come on. This is a glorified counter with some basic data frequency tracking and visualization. It should be a single payment of $3, max. For $30 per year, I expect to be getting new content regularly or at least some interaction with a snazzy AI. I’d even be happy with in-app purchases in the free version. Like, say I’m using the 3 free counters and I want a fourth; I’d consider paying $.99 for an additional counter. But a renewing subscription for this app is ridiculous..Version: 1.17.0

Lime it but there are quirksI really like this app because it's simple but there are a few issues. When you are first on a new day in the morning, everything is blank. At some point, I've not yet determined when yet, the last time you counted a block will show up. I emailed support and it's been a week with no answer as to why this is. Also, today, all of my blocks changed from being able to tap and add one to tapping and adding a custom value. That's not how they were set up. So I had to go into each block and change them all back to tap to add default value instead of custom. That was annoying as I use this app daily. Thanks for creating this, though. It's simple and effective. Just needs a few kinks worked out..Version: 1.21.9

Stop changing things 🙈Adding to my tally used to be as simple as tapping the item on my dashboard. But now you think you're being clever by changing this action to reveal a text input! This means more taps. You didn't test this with users did you?! Please revert this back to how it was. And leave the app alone (apart from fixing the bugs you introduce)..Version: 1.21.9

Apple watch app not workingI purchased a yearly subscription and then I found the Apple watch app is not working. I even can't increment or refresh counts on it....Version: 1.21.1

Bring back the old version features please! This newest update is not as simple and functional as before. this is way too complicated for something that was so simple and effective beforehand! if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!.Version: 1.21.1

CheapYou can only have 3 goals unless you want to pay 5.99 for unnecessary add ons and use the app for its main function..Version: 1.8

Updated the app. Big mistake.(1) The app no longer works - I literally cannot even enter a tally. (2) The new UI is an abomination and an slap in the face to the sleek, clean UI this app and its sisters used to have. (3) Features I have PAID for are gone. (4) My premium purchase itself is no longer recognized?! And the most egregious of all: The updates’ notes do not disclose a change in UI, or any of the other changes. This is not transparent, does not inform users of what they’re actually agreeing to. It’s a betrayal of users’ trust and goodwill. WHAT IS HAPPENING How do I go back to a previous update?? And how do I get my premium purchase reinstated??.Version: 1.21.1

Used to be great, not anymoreRecently removed basic functionality such as editing when an entry was made, adjusting start/end for your day to roll over, sorting and grouping your Tallies, etc seemingly in an effort to push users who have already paid for the app into their subscription model. Really sad..Version: 1.21.4

PLEASE MAKE YOUR APPS ACCESSIBLE!!! Blind User.Hi Reflectly! I'm a blind user who depends on VoiceOver to use aps. I really, really want to use your apps, especially Tally. But I can't, because they do not work well with VoiceOver. It's impossible to tell what selections I've made when creating a tally. The colors are completely unlabeled. I can't figure out how to leave the stats screen or creation screen and get back to the tally screen. I've run into similar issues with your other apps. I did send an email, got a generic response, and none of the updates since then have fixed the accessibility problems. Seriously, your apps are amazing, and I really want to use them, would even pay to subscribe. Please improve how your apps work with VoiceOver!.Version: 1.21.0

.I’ve tried downloading the app several times but it won’t even let me into the app, when I click on the app the open I I get a loading screen then I’m kicked out of the app and back unto my home screen..Version: 1.22.2

STILL kinda Broken after updateAppreciate the effort. It’s much better now. Would you be so kind to reintroduce the possibility to add notes in the past?.Version: 1.21.1

RubbishI purchased the premium package like a fool. There is hardly any control functions with this app and the support/help function is out of use so can’t even contact the developers. Like what if you accident added a tally incorrectly, there’s no way that I can see to be able to remove it - so simple but can’t even do that with this app. I swiped the screen and it automatically added 97 to my tally and I don’t know how to remove it without just deleting the whole tally and starting again with it from where I last left off. Give me a refund please..Version: 1.24.1

Recent update broke everythingThis was a super useful and elegant app until a recent update removed the ability to see history of each counter. I had been manually exporting my data to excel to track changes over time but this is no longer possible..Version: 1.21.1

Pretty sure I paid for full-featured app.So why is it now subscription-based?.Version: 1.21.4

Doesn’t work on my Apple WatchThis doesn’t work on my Apple Watch, without that I can’t use it as intended. I did email the developers but no response after months unfortunately. It’s been a complete waste of money for me 🙁.Version: 1.22.0

Please make a watch complicationThis app awesome and simplistic. I only need to track 1 thing so I am enjoying the free option. However, it would be so great if there was a complication option so I can quickly track on my watch. I would even pay a small amount to have it. Thank you.Version: 1.24.3

Was better before the updateI’ll echo what Cliffordson has said... before the update this app was great. Yes, there was the annoying 24-hit sale that lasted 2 mints, but the app was functional and quick. Not any more. A deep click on the tally SLOWLY brings up a context menu. A single click on the tally title allows editing etc, but an entry can no longer be modified. This if you forgot to press the button when you did something, but you still (approximately) know the time you did that something, you are now SOL, where befor you could just edit the time of an entry. And what’s up with the sorting of the entries?? It seems random where “today” is somewhere near the bottom of the list. Please bring back the previous version!!.Version: 1.21.1

Paid-for app turns useless without a subscriptionI paid $7 for premium in this app on the assumption it's not a subscription-based one. I wouldn't have bought it had I known it'd turn into a subscription-based app. This is bait-and-switch and unethical. The developer responds to reviews that mention the taking away of premium features that were supposed to be lifetime with brazen "Hi there" comments. In truth, I should have seen the signs in the fact that the dev was promoting a "growth bundle" of apps for "a better self", while the way to become better selves is to use fewer apps. It is apparent the dev is not out to add value but to milk people for what is in fact a very limited functionality (that they already paid for). This was worth $7 once. This is in no way worth a subscription..Version: 1.21.1

Doesn’t workI bought this app to use on my Apple Watch. It doesn’t work..Version: 1.21.6

Tally has Add Count but no Subtract Count!I have given 5 stars in past but there is a design thinking problem going on here in the latest update. Tally is a cool simple yet powerful app. There's a lot to love about it. I've been an app developer for year so I appreciate the simplicity. That said, I can think of no design reason for not allowing the user to subtract a count if you have added an extra count by mistake… It completely ruins the data if you are managing a habit tightly to the counter. You used to have it in an earlier version. What gives? I also, see a lot of other reviews complaining about a bunch of issues from the previous update like not being able to export CSV's. I think it is risky for your business making changes where you remove key functionality yet still charge $29 a year. People will just cancel. You are at a price point where people expect these features. Can you please fix that ASAP? Or I will cancel my subscription and find something else..Version: 1.22.0

New owner/developer should be honestThe app has changed ownership, the new developers do not reply to emails, have removed functionality from the app and lastly should be honest and say we are moving to a subscription model. Instead there is a “gift to you” nag with countdown clock at the top of the screen each time the app is opened..Version: 1.17.1

This has to be illegal.I paid for Tally a few years ago and it has been great. A recent update has changed it to a subscription mode which now ignores that I paid for the premium access. I used to be able to update the tally I use with my Apple Watch but that no longer works. I’m guessing that’s only available with the subscription now. I have been very happy with tally but now I will be looking for an alternative app to use..Version: 1.21.4

Room for improvementI got this app due to its Apple Watch compatibility. The sync with the watch is spotty, and I end up having to correct the counts in the phone. The app shows a notification badge which I cannot make sense of, nor remove, unless I remove notification permissions. Otherwise, it does what it says it will do, counting things. More than 3 kinds only if you buy it..Version: 1.13.1

What happened? This was my favourite app. I use Tally daily. I recommended it regularly for its elegant power and simplicity. The latest update is a major setback in functionality. Much seems to have been taken away or made worse. As examples, upon opening the app after the update, my custom tiling got reset and I can’t get my old settings back, the tile font has changed and is now less readable, the tally detail charts have gone from aesthetically pleasing to cartoony, and I can’t seem to scroll through data year over year anymore. What happened? Can you rollback this update and get the old version of the app back?.Version: 1.21.1

Great, until upgradeI used to LOVE this app! I admired the integrity of an app that had a low, one-time charge for the premium version. So many useful ways to use this to tally whether a goal was met, how many times something had been done, journaling through “notes,” reminders available...I could go on and on, but then ... (insert ominous theme music here) ... today everything changed. My tallys had moved all around, titles were now case sensitive and a smaller font, a huge banner took nearly half the screen about a “gift” I could give myself by paying the new annual fee, and probably more changes, but I was too disappointed to explore. So sad to see that change. I’ll miss my old tally..Version: 1.19.0

Lost a year of notes due to app redesignTitle says it all. As the devs switched to a premium, subscription based model, they decided the best way to get people to subscribe is by deleting all the notes they’ve taken prior it this update. Absolutely ridiculous. $30 a year to use a ticker for a habit? After deleting all the data I sync to iCloud every month? Update: They’ve brought back the previous notes data so thankfully it wasn’t deleted. There is still no way to add notes with the new redesign, which is a vital feature for using the app. I’ve increased the review by one star but I’m forced to keep hand tracked notes outside of the app until they fix what the redesign broke.Version: 1.19.0

The latest versions are horrible DELETED!It’s now pushing some ‘deal’ displayed on the top of the tallies even though I’ve already paid for the premium version and there seems to be no way to remove the promo. DELETED..Version: 1.21.0

Ok app but missing watch complications and shortcutsI’ve been using this app and like a lot the design and simplicity. But the Apple Watch app doesn’t offer the option to use in the complications for the new faces. That would be very useful! Also missing is a way to record a shortcut - basically these two features would add a lot of productivity to this app. Hopefully you guys can fix this soon!.Version: 1.8.1

BuggyCool app when it works but it’s really buggy… and no badge indicator. Also no sound in this version..Version: 1.21.1

Updates caused data lossFor the past 8 months I was using tally to track medical issues and kept notes to mark med changes and symptoms. They did an update this month and all my previous notes were lost. Pretty big deal for me. Also I paid for this app (maybe $10?) and it said I was buying it for life to be able to track unlimited tallies. Since this update I also can’t add anymore tallies without it asking me to pay for a yearly subscription. I even deleted a tally and tried to add it back and it wouldn’t let me without paying more. Pretty messed up! I emailed them after the update and got a bunch of apologies but no solutions. I’ve made a spreadsheet in Numbers now and won’t be using Tally anymore..Version: 1.18.0

The Ultimate AppI started on my personal mastery journey in 2019. I wanted to do so much, improve on so many fronts and give up so many things that it all started getting overwhelming. So I started my search to simplify things without giving up on them. On the digital front, after trying out more than a dozen apps, I went all out with Tally. I used it to track habits that I wanted to create, to health metrics I wanted to track, to my wheel of life, to mood data (a total of 75 metrics). What gets measured gets managed. I analyzed my data on the app, exported it to do regressions, and have improved ever since every month. And I believe Tally (and Done) has played a major part in my transformation. And then the update came along 2 weeks ago. The interface has changed, I don’t like it personally but I could understand this is the aesthetic direction the developer wishes to take. But data is now difficult to log, data entered tends to disappear, data is doubled in some instances, I can no longer find an export option, the statistics section does not correlate with the group currently open and the statistics section is too bulky to analyze in detail. This App was a 5 star for me. I really don’t want to go through the process of switching over everything to another app so I am hoping that Tally understands not all changes are good and it’s alright to step back some times. Your Biggest Fan Arsal.Version: 1.21.1

What has gone wrong?I used to love this app but since the last update not much seems to be working.... no sound when adding a tally which puts doubt on whether i did it or not. Also going into the calendar it now display the total rather then how many tallies for that day! It has really become less user friendly . At this point I regret the one off payment as not worth it..Version: 1.20.0

Update = Downgrade!I see from other reviews I am not the only one who paid (£6.99) for the app only to have all the functionality I had removed with the latest update and forced to a subscription model to get functionality I had and paid for back. Zero responses from Tally so don’t expect support. While I can get my money back through Apple I can’t get my data and time back. Very bad practice by tally. Not to be trusted..Version: 1.21.1

Apple watch app broken! Widget broken!I would’ve paid for a subscription if the widget and apple watch app were working!.Version: 1.21.14

Great, while it lasted, but BEWARE...!!!UPDATE: The Apple Watch has not been working for months. I’ve given up with this company; they never respond to my concerns. I’ve found another Tracking app that uses Buttons. Simple, but it works just great… I’ve been using the premium version of this app for months. While using the app, it would prompt me to “download to iCloud”, which I ALWAYS did. Then, all of a sudden, all of my tasks disappeared! So. I contacted “Support”. That was over 4 weeks ago and I have yet to have ANY of my data restored. They say. that they are working on the problem “day & night”, but at this point, I honestly. don’t believe them any more. The fact is that there is NO WAY within the app settings, to restore or download data and there is no indication where in iCloud the data is stored. I will happily update this review if this ever gets resolved, but until then I canNOT recommend this app to anyone. When you pay for something, you expect to get something in return. Not just lip service....Version: 1.22.2

Hard to Cancel SubscriptionI really enjoyed the app but have become very much frustrated trying to cancel my subscription. There is no way to do so directly from the app or if there is it’s completely hidden. I have clicked on every button in the app to see if I could to unsubscribe to no avail. I HAVE EMAILED TWICE within the last 14 days to the email on the app and with what’s linked on this app page. Unless this can get resolved, I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND SUBSCRIBING to their services at all. I hate I have to go to this means to hopefully get a response. I have whatever picture proof someone could need to show that I have emailed them. HOPING TO HEAR BACK SOON or I’ll have to go and request my credit card company to deny any future payments from them. All I want is to unsubscribe. I’ve never had to go this far with any other subscription service ever..Version: 1.24.4

Used to be betterThere used to be a manual reset button at the bottom m, now there is only the option to reset by calendar day/week/month/year. I want to be able reset whenever I hit a certain target which might not correspond with dates on the calendar. I will be deleting since it is no longer able to do what I want..Version: 1.21.0

Needs updatingMore glitches lately and widgets do not show on ipad mini 6.Version: 1.22.0

Widget not workingMight be a recent update but whatever it was , the widget on your home screen doesn’t work at all. I’ve tried contacting them for support and I haven’t received anything back. The widget keeps saying I don’t have anything to track even though I have 5 tally things. I don’t want to reinstall the app because it says everything will be deleted. Even though I’ve paid for the app. Very disappointing..Version: 1.21.14

Easy to understand, watch app a plus but needs workGood features, love using it with the Apple Watch BUT there seems to be slowness and timezone issues with the watch version. Eg if I add an event from my watch, it appears on my phone as happening 9 and a half hours ago (my UTC timezone offset). I’d been wondering why my tallies seemed off and now I know that things are getting attributed to the wrong times, and therefore possibly the wrong days. Keen to see more updates come to resolve this. Thank you for a great app..Version: 1.24.3

Good App Getting WorseCurrent Thoughts: The app was basically perfect about a year ago. Things get getting changed making it worse and worse. I get so many bugs now that I didn't get before. The day at the top being wrong, changing my settings for my tally's, getting a banner for premium when I have it and access to all the features. Please revert it to an older build or fix it. If things aren't resolved I'll probably have to find another app... Past Review: A good app but getting worse. Recent changes are ruining the apps experience for me. I'm getting a banner ad for "premium" when I have paid and have access to all features just not through the subscription model. The dark mode is no longer black and is a navy blue. The text layout and everything after the most recent update is different and the app isn't changing to the next day and resetting tally counts properly. Please fix these issues. It's a great app and I'd recommend it but the recent changes are in the wrong direction..Version: 1.21.9

Was a great app but not right now. Hope they can fix it.I have loved the trial of this app but as soon as I purchased it, the journal function that gave the time of each tally for the current day went away. That is a main function that is needed to make this app useful for me. It used to show it but now it shows a random date from a year ago then yesterday and so on. I really hope they can fix this otherwise I’ll need to cancel my subscription and find a different app that does the job I need. I’ve tried to contact them but their contact link does not work. A bit disappointing. Please please please fix..Version: 1.21.1

Need to return appNot impressed by app. Not useful.Version: 1.24.1

Something has gone awryI've used Tally for going on two years and until recently it was there best counter/tracking app I've found. Siri shortcuts, great widget (the original kind), and a simple interface with tons of customization and options. And such fast communication from the developer and support! Usually I test an app for awhile but with this one I immediately purchased the premium upgrade (I should note that this was back when it was sold for a one-time payment). So why the low score? Last week everything reset. My counts are still there but all the premium features are gone, the old style widget disappeared, my settings were a mess, and it won't even reset the daily counts at midnight unless you force close and restart the app. I've tried reaching out to customer support but can't get a response. Before this I would have said the app is worth far more than 5 stars. My problem is that this is a big issue and I haven't been able to get any help. Being able to get support when there's a problem is as important to me as the functionality and features of the app itself. Right now the support is lacking and the functionality I've come to expect has been severely impacted. I earnestly hope this is just a glitch or mistake that can be rectified because the app itself is truly remarkable and I haven't found anything out there that compares..Version: 1.21.1

Constantly Taking Away Great FeaturesI’ve never used an app that has progressively gotten worse and worse over time. I have no idea why but over the 3+ years I’ve used the app, they’ve taken away more and more features. It used to be so helpful. You could set it to what times you want a “day” to be (very helpful as someone who is often adding counts after midnight) and it used to show your goal amounts at the bottom. There was a lot more customization. Now the settings consists of five toggles for useless options (one is literally if you want to see the help button or not. Who cares??) and a bunch of support links that don’t work (and have never worked the entire time I’ve been a user). There is no way to report bugs or reach out to the developers. Save yourself the heartache, choose a different app..Version: 1.24.0

Lifetime Access apparently means something different to this companyI was a premium user with access to unlimited habits. I assumed I would be grandfathered into my plan even with the change to subscription, but seems like I’m not. Makes no sense to charge people who already paid before 🙄. I wish I was warned this change was coming. I don’t understand why you would take away unlimited access to those who were premium users before when there was no new features added in. I already had access to unlimited habits... but now I have to pay a subscription fee to get back that access??? If this is a mistake, please fix it. If not, I will be switching back to Daylio. A least they won’t take away features users have ALREADY paid for..Version: 1.17.0

Cannot cancel subscriptionI read some reviews here that say you can’t cancel a subscription, I went into the app and the “support” and “contact” buttons don’t work. So I’m too scared to subscribe to this app as it seems like a scam. This means I can only create 3 habits- rendering the app useless. Please allow users to cancel their subscriptions easily.Version: 1.24.3

Removed the best featuresI used to be Tally’s biggest fan, but I’ve been extremely disappointed with the app recently since many of the best features were removed in a recent update. I used tally primarily to track medical symptoms and medication use. It’s no longer possible to add tallies and notes at times besides the current time, so you can’t go back and update counts later without them having the wrong timestamp. You also can’t archive tallies you don’t need anymore, and it seems the data aren’t backed up to the internet anymore. Tally is just not so great anymore. It’s harder to use. It’s less helpful. I am now looking for an alternative app to track things..Version: 1.21.2

Do not use this app!Tally used to be great, it is now one of the most useless and badly designed apps in the App Store. A recent “update” removed all the useful features and replaced them with bugs, lame messaging, poor visual design, missing functionally and overall rubbish UX. Such a shame as the app was perfect before. Big opportunity for a new player to come in and take Tally customers I’d say..Version: 1.17.1

DisappointedNotifications doesn’t work, counter doesn’t reset at midnight.Version: 1.22.2

I paid for an upgrade but the app does not give me access to the features I paid forVery disappointing.Version: 1.21.9

Disappointed by the updateAfter the update, there is no average tally shown beside the total tally on the graph view. I don’t seem to be able to export my tally to csv or other type of files, which was one of the major reasons why I was using this app. I hope they bring the features back..Version: 1.21.1

Im requesting a refundThe app is syncing with the apple watch but any habits added from the apple watch are only visible on the wrong date , usually a dat later….Version: 1.24.3

A mess[Update] Months later and still no fix. I had gotten a developer respons to my original review and I was told that they are aware of the issue. But after all this time still no fix. I have not regretted in a long time paying for a subscription, but now I do. The frustrating part is that it used to work just fine on the watch. I have deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times on watch and phone are updated to the latest version and still no go. Absolutely useless. Used to be a great app but now it’s a mess. 1) The haptic counter on watch isn’t working since several months. 2) The list of counts and notes has a whacky sorting, entries for 2020 are intermingled and the current day is somewhere further down. 3) You no longer can edit a count. Used to be able to adjust the time of a count, no longer..Version: 1.21.14

Updates constantly ruin this app - I’m done ✌️Don’t bother with this app, and definitely don’t pay for a subscription, unless you enjoy losing features without warning and constantly being frustrated with what should be a basic, dependable app. I tried relying on this app for a year but updates for “bug fixes and performance improvements” constantly wipe away beloved and important features and the time stamps are not always accurate (and non-existent if you want to mark a tally after midnight for that day). The latest update no longer allows you to simply click on a tally to add to its count - kinda the whole point of the app. Now instead you have to manually type in the number of tallies you want to add. Previous updates removed the ability to add notes when creating a new tally (like for instructions) and the ability customize the time your day begins/ends. Other updates have also deleted entire tally histories, the ability to sort your tallies in a custom order, shortened the allotted tally title length, among others (features which were later restored after many customer complaints but never should have disappeared in the first place). I used this app to track medication but can’t rely on it and I shouldn’t be frustrated with a basic app who’s sole purpose is counting. I gave it nearly a year of chances but finally cancelled my subscription for another app I can actually trust and count on 😉.Version: 1.21.9

Fine app, irritating glitchesThe advertised offer is unavailable when you check out and you can’t remove the banner either. Good app for tracking although it’s the same app as Done but in a different format. Also all the goals get rearranged if you make any changes it’s annoying..Version: 1.24.1

Recent update is awfulThe new update makes all the text tiny, revived archived items, and it’s so hard to add historical data now..Version: 1.17.0

Crashes every minuteI really wanted to live this app as I like the integration of goals with Apple Health. But the app freezes within a minute of me having it open and I have to quit/restart it. It’s basically useless as I can never get my thing done inside the app. Please fix this bug, I think it would be a great app if it worked!.Version: 1.21.14

Tally is almost perfectHealth Warning TMTTR Instead of programming the tally in 1-n (I set it to 100) repeatedly, by pressing the back button from the tally function. A mode for reducing the count to an achieved/completed ‘habit’ would have been much cleaner. After entering to the custom menus I was not able to find a tally reset for count. So | used the help section on customising tally counts. Following the points to do so instead of leaving the menu with the job done, I was taken to a customise combined-spot on the screen…. were a tabbed message giving me the option to customise is not working. I also see that a - number for programming my phone i.e minus 1 or n. Is not going to solve this! Overall a simple idea 👏👏 but done without much finess 10/10 for effort lol..Version: 1.24.2

Completely unusableThis app freezes on every open since the latest update. This needs a debug and fast. Trying to track daily progress on tasks, and my options are delete, reinstall and lose my data, or abandon entirely. Disappointing..Version: 1.24.4

Hardly “compatible on iPad”Deleted this app after installing, the compatibility on the iPad is not really what i expected when the app only fills half the screen on forced portrait mode with no landscape mode support, the newer iPads mainly using landscape mode with the stands / keyboard cases so Turing the iPad sideways and only having 1/2 the screen in use is not worth it. This app may be good on phones but i would of preferred something that i could use on both my iPad and iPhone. I would not of downloaded the app if i knew it was not properly supported on the iPad. Shame because it could of been a very useful app..Version: 1.14

UPDATE, PREMIUM REVOKED: Great app - awful priceI don’t know which company bought the original app developer out, but this is ridiculous. I paid my one-time premium fee for Tally before these new people switched everything to an obnoxiously overpriced subscription model. These recent updates literally remove premium from your account, and you can’t restore your purchase because “you do not have an active subscription.” My iPhone 5S was rocking fine with this app and its widget: the widget has disappeared in the last update, and I have no doubt they’re going to put an extra price tag on that to get it back. I literally downloaded this app because of its widget support on the lock screen to tally things without needing to unlock your phone. I wish I could give this new developer a rating below 1. What was once a fantastic app family is now just a cycle of awful support, price gouging of premium prices, and revoking of existing premium users. Don’t let the historical 5 star rating fool you; look at recent reviews for within the last year since the dev change, and just choose a different app..Version: 1.17.1

Greed ruins itI really WANT to subscribe to all of these apps. I love them a lot. In fact, I DID subscribe to a couple (including this one in an introductory offer). But, the scheme is clearly to get people to subscribe and hooked, then gouge them on a renewal that is multiple times more than the original subscription, and over priced for what it is. I’m perfectly willing to spend money on something that is worth the cost - like offering new content like exercise and health apps. I’ll even pay for maintenance of apps with complex functions that require frequent bug fixes. But, these are all so simple and obviously do not require the cost being asked. It’s such a shame because I really do like them..Version: 1.24.1

Steep declineThis app has completely lost the plot. Changes to the UI make it less aesthetically appealing, while also inhibiting functionality. Certain features don’t work anymore and their support team are among the most useless you’ll ever encounter. Don’t expect any issues you have with the app to ever be resolved. So, unless you’re happy to use a sub-par app, that fails to perform as expected, I’d strongly suggest looking at other options.Version: 1.21.8

Was excellent, but not nowUsed to be excellent but since a recent update functionality is reduced, had to pay again and full of bugs..Version: 1.19.0

Terrible useless app used to be essentialI cannot believe what the developers did to this app! Was a loyal Pro user and now they’ve gotten greedy and gone subscription while charging the big bucks to Pro users and ruining what was a great app. Best feature was exporting to CSV and now that’s gone. Have lost years of data now, trapped. App performance is terrible and laggy. My defaults were changed. The fonts are hard to read. Don’t like the blue background in dark mode. Some of my notes are out of chronological order. The graphs are hard to read. User experience and GUI are now very much trial and error as I stumble about trying to figure out how to do things. Dont download this piece of crap. This was one of my most used apps and I recommended it to many friends for its many features but I will recommend no longer. Time to start typing data in a spreadsheet, folks!.Version: 1.21.9

All my data is goneThe latest update deleted all my data, it won’t restore or recognise that I’ve already purchased the app. Thanks for helping me lose track of all my progress over the last year..Version: 1.17.0

What the heck happened?Tally was an app I used every single day - it added so much structure and balance to my life that I felt the Premium yearly membership was well worth it. Sadly, the latest update appears to have thrown what was a near-perfect app into total chaos. What was a smooth streamlined display and interface now constantly lags and glitches. I would try deleting and re-installing the app but the Backup links now appear to be gone. I loved how easily customizable everything was in the calendar and journal features, but now it’s become impossible to edit any timestamps or entries after they’ve been logged. The most frustrating setback for me has been that the very useful feature which sorted tallies in a chronological order (the “Last” function) now seems to just scramble them randomly with any addition of new data. I’m hoping these are just the growing pains of a complicated software update and that these issues will be fixed soon - if they are, I’ll gladly update this review. However, I’m quickly losing patience with the app in its current state and it won’t be long before I move on..Version: 1.21.1

$60 Subscription! NO Get THIS instead! These guys must be joking wanting $60 for a year subscription for this app after the first year being $5.99. And the app does NOT let you subtract counts! This is a big deal because it is easy to accidentally add a count by mistake. The ONLY way to reset the count is to delete the habit and start over, huh?! Instead I found something much much better and only $3.99 to buy (free version to try). NO subscription. It’s called “Tally Counter and Habit Tracker”, Orange icon. Functions in a very similar way but actually works and doesn’t gouge you crazy. No, I am not the developer, I was just so ecstatic to find it after dealing with this Tally app and its ridiculousness and obscene pricing scheme and not being able to subtract counts. I’ve only messed with Tally Counter and Habit Tracker a little while but it is definitely better than this app by far with a lot more functionality and better charts and graphs and the like. Do not give this developer your money, send a message that us consumers won’t be taken advantage of. Fair is fair and $6 for the first year and then $60 the year after that is an outrage. This app should be $6 to buy if that let alone $60 for one year.Version: 1.24.5

Paid $16.99 - not working - ripped offI liked the app so much that I paid for the yearly subscription. However there is a bug in the app and it will not allow me to use the app it to the full extent (ie add more items to tally) plus I have the pesky “subscribe now” message at the top of my screen. I wrote to the developers. They responded by telling me to provide them with my subscription number. This was a few days ago but I have still not heard from them. Even an acknowledgment of my email would have been nice. Here are some things they could have said. “We are doing all we can. This is an unusual bug. In the meantime we’ll allow you free access to our other apps”. I have asked them to reimburse me if they can’t fix the problem but I highly doubt that will happen. I’m waiting to hear back. (Have sent three emails so far). Update: Still No response. Still no fix..Version: 1.21.8

No password support = no unsubscribingI have been trying for a month now to get customer support for using the growth app. Crickets. I have spent hours emailing their customer service through the app as well as, when they didn’t reply, contacting them through social media accounts. I anticipate being charged yearly for the fully bundle while not once being able to use it..Version: 1.24.0

Widget doesn’t work no faqNo widget option with the app despite it being listed as having. Also the support options in the app menu don’t work, and the website doesn’t include support other than direct email.Version: 1.23.0

Used to be great.I paid for premium but then they changed to subscription and took away my premium access! Surely that’s not allowed! Also the app has become super buggy to the point where it doesn’t even work a lot of the time. I used to love this app and the company that makes the suite of apps, but it’s clear they don’t love us back..Version: 1.21.14

GoodNot many free options.Version: 1.21.1

Great! But not amazing! The functionality of this app is great! The aesthetic of this app is really nice and the way you create a new habit is very user-friendly and easy to navigate - it has great options!! But the fact that you can only have 3 habits at once for the free version is extremely disappointing and annoying. Like really?? 3??.Version: 1.14

Hoping to get the developers attentionI am reading this app as one star not because I think that’s what it deserves but because I’m hoping to get the attention of the developers or somebody from their support team to get back to me on an issue I’ve had with the app as far as the subscription fee. I have been getting offers for a reduced price for quite a while now, but whenever I try to claim the offer, it shows the full amount I would be charged annually for the app and I can’t figure out how to get the special price being offered, or if that price will be applied when I agreed to the subscription. I don’t want to agree to it and then be charged the amount shown, so I’m hoping I can get a response here on what I can do to claim the offer. I actually really like this app and I hope I can get the reduced subscription price but I’m not sure if or how it’s possible..Version: 1.24.4

Love the app but the widget stopped workingI absolutely love this app and highly recommend it for anyone. However, the Home Screen widget recently stopped working and that’s a real shame because that’s what makes the app amazing. Developers, please fix this ASAP as it’s timing the app experience for me..Version: 1.21.14

New version a disappointmentI’ve been using Tally daily for more than two years. Anytime I think of trying another habit tracker, I run them head-to-head and end up sticking with Tally every time because of the simplicity. But I recently updated the app...and now I think it might be time to move on. It runs way slower, the titles don’t really fit neatly in the tiles, the size of the circles doesn’t accurately show the values when looking back over the data, and most of the open screen is taken up by requests to upgrade to premium. I’ll see if things improve over the next week or so (the last four weeks have had updates but that have identical descriptions), but then it seems like it is time to move on. It had a good run. I’m not mad, just disappointed..Version: 1.21.1

Love some elements, but some major drawbacksI love a lot about Tally and have used it for years, but a few things keep me from being fully satisfied: 1) ability to export to csv or other table for further analysis or combining with other tracking (perhaps those with Dropbox or iCloud have a way around this) 2) when you change time zones, the times on old entries changes too. When using the app’s interface to enter for “yesterday,” the default time for that entry is midnight. However, if you later change time zones, that can push that entry back. So when I traveled from Mountain to Pacific time, all midnight entries became 11pm entries on the prior day, giving me double tracking on one day, and a missing entry on the following. I followed up with support twice, never heard back. 3) when you look at the report view, as I do to manually transfer prior weeks into my own master tracker, you have to tap on the day to see the value. Minor but it all contributes to a general challenge with trying to aggregate this data and combine it for the more macro views I’m trying to create. I have a feeling I’m going to transition out of using tally to just using my own google form as these issues make it hard to achieve the bigger goal I have for tracking..Version: 1.24.1

Missing a few featuresI love how simple the app is and keeping a tally of habits has helped me achieve some goals 😃 There’s a few features that are missing that would make this a 5-star app: 1) the ability to delete a tally when you add one by mistake. 2) the ability to add one on a previous day that you did something but forgot to tally it (one goal-setting concept is shooting for a streak of days in a row, which is easy to see on the Tally charts as long as you stay up with making your marks, but if you forget then the streak is harder to see). 3) this one isn’t quite as important, but as a visual person, I would like the option to see an actual accumulation of tally marks vs. just a number - ie llll instead of 4. It feels like you’ve accomplished more when you see a representation of just how many times you’ve done something. The final reason I gave it 2-stars is because the widget doesn’t work right. The count that shows on the widget doesn’t match the actual count inside the app and when you click + on the widget, the number on the widget doesn’t go up - though the count inside the app does..Version: 1.24.1

App not workingI love this app. Used it for a long time. But recently it began to glitch. Freezing every time I opened it. I finally managed to get it to stay open just long enough to backup my data to the iCloud. Then I uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app. Now it doesn’t work at all. Won’t even open. I get a screen saying the app failed to update to the latest version and that the issue has been submitted. The message also says not to uninstall the app. But to keep trying regularly. It’s been a few days now, and I still can’t open the app. I use this every day, and have been unable to do so. I submitted a report, but haven’t heard back. I’m kinda disappointed but still hoping they will resolve this issue soon.Version: 1.24.2

What is going on with the Watch app?I love the iOS app on my iPhone. My work process basically got integrated with the app. Now when I try to use my watch with it, it’s useless. Very disappointing. I’m willing to go to 5 star if sync with watch offered.Version: 1.22.2

Still broken!!I've been using Tally for 1.5yrs to track medications and amount of rest I get. Used to love the app but the recent version that upgraded the interface broke a lot of existing features. I see that you're trying to clean up the mess but until you put back in the ability to edit an existing entry for quantity + time/date, and fix the issue where new items can only be tracked using NOW() for date/time during database insert -- there's no way to change the date or the time on new entries so if I take a medication and don't enter it into tally until an hour or two later then it gets into the database with the wrong time, messing up my ability to know how long it's been since the actual last dose. Why the date and time picking widget was remove I cannot fathom. And why, WHY does a tally's history log start in November of last year instead of showing the tabulated entries for the current day?! I don't need to look at Nov entries first, then yesterday, then the day before, etc. It needs to start at TODAY. I hate that you broke this perfectly good app. I'm not upgrading Moody ever again now, that's the other critical app in my personal life and I fear you dev team could have ruined it just like you did with Tally 🤦🏼‍♀️.Version: 1.21.1

OkaySo, it started off with a bit of faffing setting up exactly what I wanted to do the menu is simple, which helps with this kind of straightforward function. However the lack of menu can be a pinch sometimes. Not finding any options or explanations, I just wanted to reduce a particular day’s tally and couldn't find a way to do it, I saw a ‘resent counter’ option, and that actually just deleted all historical data from the last month from when I started tallying.... so I’ve just kind of given up on it..Version: 1.15.2

Updates ruined the appThis app WAS perfect, now it’s useless. This was great to track onset of symptoms and medications, it was even recommended by my Dr. The time stamp made this app better than similar apps. Now that resets every day, even though I have everything set for yearly. So you can’t even track things for a 24hr period because the time resets at midnight. I can overlook the fact that I can’t add notes anymore, edits times, arrange my items manually, swipe to access the widget without unlocking my phone, backup to iCloud, but the time stamp was pretty important. I would have gladly paid $30 for this app before they changed anything, that’s how useful it was. But the fact that they removed every feature from the app and now expect people to pay that is ridiculous..Version: 1.17.1

OverpricedVery limited without having to pay for a yearly subscription.Version: 1.21.14

Love it BUT too many bugsThe app is great, but after a few day of using it the widget stopped working and I can't log anything in the app anymore it doesnt do anything... would love that to be fixed since I paid for the premium version.Version: 1.23.0

Getting worseThey made a recent change which adds an extra step to the tally count. The whole point of a tally is to be quick and simple. This app keeps getting worse. Sorry..Version: 1.21.9

Updated version sucksI think this is my first review in the App Store ever and it’s because I’ve been so frustrated with the new Tally app I have to warn others. Key features have been removed (namely all of my archived ‘habits’ are back on the Home Screen and can’t be archived), and the design/UX has also totally changed. I was very happy with the old Tally app and successfully recommended it to dozens of friends. The new app has a brutal banner trying to get you to upgrade (which you can’t remove), and design updates that make no sense. Very disappointed in Tally as I feel they made these changes without consulting any of their users. I paid for this app years ago, and have used it daily. Definitely wishing I went with another app as I have a ton of data I’ll need to transfer. Tally please go back to the old app! Your new app is a huge step backwards! 2 stars because it’s still functional, but I think I’m just being nice....Version: 1.21.1

Decent but needs workFor what I paid, I was expecting something more reliable. My “widgets” don’t always show the last time I added to the tally..Version: 1.21.7

Good but could use some upgradingOverall pretty handy app. I’d recommend being able to add to your tally from the widget itself and not have to open the app. Also, to be able to add to your tally on your Apple Watch. You can only seem to view it..Version: 1.20.0

Update did it dirtyThis app used to be one of my most used things in the day because it was really great for showing me how much water I was drinking on average as well as some other things. But then one update in addition to a UI change (which was nice) they just completely removed the average display when you’re looking at a whole month, week, or year which for me kinda rendered the app useless, I still use it but there’s just way less motivation to at this point. I hope they bring the average display back because then it really would be a 5-star app, simple to use, very customisable..Version: 1.21.6

New updates = less featuresI loved using the Tally app however with its recent updates, so much of the functionality is gone. I paid for the upgraded version a while back so I could use more tally boxes. However with the last updates, I am no longer to create tally’s and now it’s telling me I have to upgrade again. Before, you were also able to click on a day and see what the total number count was but they took that functionality away too so all you get is the overall count total for the month making it more difficult to see what progress/counts you had at a certain day. Their contact support buttons also do not work in their app so I feel like customer service isn’t even there. Instead it once again brought me to the upgrade page. How awful!.Version: 1.21.1

Upgrade is a downright messSuddenly the app that I relied on went nuts! I cannot edit Journal entries or add entries for previous moments in time. Old data is suddenly appearing out of order. Please give us the old version back (it worked).Version: 1.21.1

Latest update removes key features and kills it’s Apple Watch functionsTitle says it all. I have been happily using this useful app for years and was surprised to when see opening it today that EVERY SINGLE counter that I have stored in archive reappearing on my screen. Many of these had been stored in that (no longer available) archive which was a great feature for keeping old counters for future reference. The developer has “generously” offered a discounted subscription service in the app now (which can not be turned off). I clicked on it wondering if this would restore the archive function but no information on this is available. This is doubly frustrating given that I paid for this app originally to receive additional features. It seems that what’s happening here is an attempt to double dip on it’s loyal customer base while removing key features. Great! To try to make it even somewhat usable I had to manually delete dozens of counters with a unintuitive, 3 step process which lagged for every deletion. Awesome! Add to that the fact that the app on my Apple Watch no longer works. When I click a tally it does nothing, just blinks and retains the same count. Bravo! I’m not sure what’s happening here but I’ll be deleting this app and will try to find something similar elsewhere. I will not support a developer that completely disregards it’s loyal users that have paid for a product and now find themselves without a fully working app. Asking those same customers to double down with more money to purchase a subscription to have additional, but unclear features is simply not acceptable. I would have happily rewarded this app a 5 star rating previously but, sadly, it’s now a glitchy shell of it’s previous state. My 1 star is quite generous..Version: 1.18.0

Used to be great, not pleased with the changesI’ve been using this app for years now. When I first started tracking habits, it was a game changer, so I bought the paid version. It’s been one of my favorite apps since, and I used to recommend it to everyone. HOWEVER its developer recently released an update that I mistakenly installed, and despite having paid for the original, I’m no longer considered a premium member and the app is sending me spammy messages to upgrade to a subscription and won’t let me restore my original purchase. I’m extremely disappointed about this change, and likely will not be upgrading any time soon- it’s just not worth more than I ALREADY paid for it..Version: 1.21.0

Doesn’t WorkThis app just doesn’t work. I wanted to be able to keep track of certain things and thought this app would help me out. Man was I wrong. The counter seems to be stuck on one day. The calendar in the app gets the day right but the rest of the app doesn’t. Want to have a new tally for each day? Doesn’t work for me. Want to increment the count from your watch? Doesn’t work for me..Version: 1.21.9

Great app, widgets don’t workGreat app, mostly. I purchased premium bundle offer of several apps from the developer since the apps are all well designed. The most frustrating thing however might be the widgets, they look fantastic but it doesn’t work at all. I’ve got four habits in the app, the widget says there aren’t any, and there’s no option edit it such as to request which habits are shown. Unfortunately the developer doesn’t welcome feedback since the feedback form link in the app has for a long time opened an form that is unavailable..Version: 1.22.2

Constantly asks you to restore app and you lose all dataThis app bundle has the potential to be great but I finally gave up after having to constantly back up data because every few days it wipes it and you have to ‘restore purchase’ and start again. So frustrating!.Version: 1.13.1

Issues with the updateI really loved this app, but after the most recent app update, i am not happy with the user experience. Previously, if i ever forget adding something to one of the counters, i still had the option to go back and add it. And even when the counter was set to reset every year, i could see the exact number of entries for a specific date when i selected it. But now i am only able to see the total number of entries for the whole year even when i select a specific date. And when i try to go back to a date and add an entry that i originally forgot adding, the counter doesn’t visually represent the addition with the dot under the date. And nor does it show the exact entry for the date selected..Version: 1.17.0

Export still missingUpdate 16th of June: still no export to CSV! Update on 30th of May: still not possible specifying time and date for entries and notes. Export to CSV still missing. Please fix it. Previous review: The below functionality has now been restored after the developers’ mess, however it’s no longer possible adding specific time and date for entries and notes, Please fix that too!!! Also the iCloud backup is still lost functionality along with export to CSV Complain for earlier version below: It used to work perfectly till your change one week ago where you did a major refresh of the app I can’t do long press on a goal anymore I can’t enter notes Badge was broken with previous update , I don’t want to spend time being the tester now And the release notes are a joke: you changed the fonts and I can’t see previously fitting titles (long ones) - I have to shorten them Please fix it ASAP.Version: 1.21.7

Potential is there but needs loveThis app has nice visuals and nice thought behind the features, but the execution is filled with bugs. For starters, the widget only updates the counts if it’s in the mood to do so that day. Then, editing the history of widgets barely updates anything — the dots under the days that have counts don’t update if you retroactively correct the counts, changing the tally reset rate updates the total tally in some places but not in others, etc. In general, these are bugs that are reproducible, and a developer just has to sit down and fix them. And this is a paid for app, which is all the more a shame that it’s been months that things have been this way. Edit: I now see that the demo video is made on a laptop using a mouse to click around. That is incredibly lazy, and points to the attention to detail that the current developers behind this app have..Version: 1.22.2

Can’t edit yesterday’s tallyOnce the clock hits midnight, there’s no changing any data from the day before. This app sucks and gets worse with every update..Version: 1.21.14

Can't open my tallyWhat's the problem? Every time I click tally it flashes off..Version: 1.7

Took away features I already paid forI don’t fault the developers for switching to a subscription model. That’s their choice, and I hope it works out for them. What is NOT okay is how they’ve handled existing customers who already paid to upgrade to the “premium” app. We’re people who liked this app enough to pay for it, and the developers thanked us by removing the functionality we already paid for and offering us the opportunity to pay more to get that functionality back. It’s a breach of trust with your customers. You can’t say “pay us a one-time fee and you’ll unlock premium features” and then lock those features and ask us to pay again. The feature was literally called “One-Time Upgrade.” I have to wonder if Apple has a policy about this sort of unethical behavior..Version: 1.20.0

I paid 100% for this...then...the company decided to switch to a very expensive yearly subscription which I refused. I had information stored tracking multiple skills and suddenly the app barely worked. It now had about a 4 second delay to tally one tap of minutes. So, if you wanted to add (for what I had set) 30 minutes in 5-min increments, instead of adding it in 6 quick taps, it would take me about 20-30 seconds with the delay. Again, under the initial agreement, I BOUGHT the app. To change it after that is wrong. I tried deleting the app to see if it might reload and lost all data for the last year. Trying to reinstall, I paid the yearly subscription. Now I need to fully stop it and find a new app. What greedy people..Version: 1.21.2

Keep hounding me to review? There you go..Version: 1.13.1

Have had paid tally for years - Update now wants subscription and won’t restore previous purchasePaid for full version of Tally many years ago. Update now requires subscription and will not restore my previous purchase..Version: 1.17.0

A TERRIBLE APPI don’t usually review, but I’m so disappointed with this app since the update - It used to be a favourite app and was fantastic. However, since the update it ranks as the worst app on my phone - DREADFUL! I paid for the full version and used it for LOTS of tracking for myself and clients. Since update, no archive feature, which I used to manage, cannot add notes to a previous day, sooo many glitches with tallying up, random days and faults - No response from my attempts to contact!!!.Version: 1.21.5

OverpricedIt’s a simple app that works fine. I have downgraded it to one star because, considering the app’s functionality, I think it outrageous to charge a yearly subscription..Version: 1.18.0

Developers, why are you nerfing your own app?I have been using the counting app for years for medical purposes. It was simple and efficient. But over the last year its owners have been systematically degrading its features. The latest deprecation is that since yesterday an update now forces me to choose how much I want to increment the counter by every single time, rather than increment it by one as it has the last years. Nowhere in settings do I have the option to counter this latest change and revert to the previous default of incrementing the counter by one every time I touch the icon. Do I need to disable updates for this app to prevent further reduction of its usefulness?.Version: 1.21.9

Cant unsubscribe & noone to talk toTerrible. You get locked in and no where to unsubscribe. Ive contacted these people repeatedly but no one replies. So annoyed right now. Do not get sucked in.Version: 1.24.1

Doesn’t work on Apple WatchIssues syncing and there are no complications.Version: 1.24.2

Update is horribleI hate this update - I miss being able to go back into the calendar, I hate not being able to just tap it to add a count anymore, and the yearly graph is now unreadable due to the new design. Please, put it back! This app has really helped me with adhd stuff and the new update makes it too complicated to use quickly in the day.Version: 1.21.12

Update removed lots of features and broke the othersLatest updates introduced major bugs and removed big features - exporting tally’s was removed - basic features such as sorting alphabetically no longer work - duplication of groups and filters - no more shake to undo - half the links and buttons in settings are broken - no longer possible to view past notes - lots of other annoying bugs added This used to be such a good app, but the recent refresh has broken so much.Version: 1.17.0

£30 per year for a tally app?Says there used to be a one time purchase option for £6.99. What does £30 per year fund? Looking at the update history there’s barely anything new with updates, and not that you’d expect much from an app like this in the first place. Not every app needs to have a subscription, you know..Version: 1.24.1

Very disappointed with updateI c annot go back to an entry to modify info! I need that. I don’t like the new graphs either. I was hoping for custom range instead of the week month year options. I loved this app and was recommending it all the time. I’ll see if the update gets fixed. If not I’ll start looking for alternatives. I can’t add a note for a previous date. In my journal the dates are all mixed up and not following any order. I can’t find today’s notes in Notes but I see it in All. I can’t believe how bad and messy this update is. It should not have been released. A bad mistake. It has become an unpleasant experience. It was great before. I propose that you reverse it to how it was and get a lot of beta testing before changing it..Version: 1.21.1

Seems unfinishedGood idea but…. Very expensive sub for what it is. The today tab is always yesterday, doesn’t change with the date. No option for a single and simple yes or no ‘Done’ once per day. iCloud “backup” never in sync and overwrites every made elsewhere. Apple Watch not in sync with iPhone. No complications on faces..Version: 1.24.4

Incessant “time limited specials”.In-app purchase to unlock more than three habits had a pre-Xmas sale. That’s always promoted as having less than 24 or 48 hours left. But I’ve been presented this reminder continuously since mid December. If it’s not real, stop lying about it as a pressure tactic. All you’ve encouraged me to do is open up Xcode to write my own “counter button” app. And leave this negative review..Version: 1.16.1
