✓ New updateMy phone and my iPad have just automatically completed the latest update and now I am no longer able to access my accounts on either of these devices, my phone completed the update first so lucky for kingdom war I was at least able to log in to protect my castle but now my iPad has competed the update I can no longer log in their either. I have been playing this game for a year and this is now the only game I play as I really enjoy it but every time their is an update their is always issues! 😩 if even a single hair is out of place on my lovely T10 troops while I cannot access my account I will be one rather upset gamer! 😢.Version: 1.3.2

✓ Update problemsI can no longer access the game since this most recent update. Every time I open the app it says I need to download the most recent version and sends me to the app store, but the app store shows that there is no new update, and sends me back to the game, then the game says I need the new update. It just keeps sending me back and forth. Meanwhile, I keep getting notifications telling me that my city is being attacked repeatedly, and there is nothing I can do about it. ✓ Became pay to “win”I loved this game. All the recent updates have made it pay to “win” and by “win” I mean keep the stuff you’ve built and bought that can be decimated by someone who spends more than you do. All the new events are ridiculous in their cost and as a disabled person on a fixed income, this game has become too frustrating to continue. I am L2 and spent WAY beyond what I should have to get to where I am, and I’m tired of having it all destroyed by someone because they spent more money than I did. I refuse to spend another penny on this game and I advise others to avoid downloading it in the first place. ✓ Do not spend on this appThey have managed to tighten the screws on anyone not interested in spending thousands of dollars on this app even after many of us have invested in the product prior to them making serious revisions that impact the functionality of the game. These revisions have rendered this product completely different than the original app in which I invested and they continue to change it in a way that makes even the modest spender need to spend more to stay competitive. There is a general lack of customer service, the product that they continue to “update” is more glitched than ever yet you need to spend more to take advantage of any of the new update functionality. ✓ Game is grrrrrrrrreat! But customer service rep is dumbThis is one of, if not my top mobile games everything is just awesome. My problem is with the customer service. I had an issue with packs I bought. I got the packs but they did not receive the payment even tho my card was charged and I have proof of that. But the gamer GM still does not seem to understand that I am trying to find out what packs where not paid for. ✓ Fun game, terrible customer supportIf you’re thinking of downloading this game, don’t do it. I’ve been playing this game almost a year now and really enjoying it; however, I’ve been having problems with one of the GMs. I’ve repeatedly asked for his supervisor’s direct contact info, but they refuse to give me that info. Evan is incredibly rude and ineffective as a GM, as he doesn’t read your questions before sending a response. This is a waste of time for GMs and players alike. Evan’s most recent response to me was, “Obviously, you're a super genius that can figure things out with clear logic. With that skill，you will definitely win this week Kvk. Wish you good luck.” Trust me when I tell you this was biting sarcasm, not a compliment. Who do we complain to when customer support refuses to escalate our issues? They must have supervisors, but they won’t let you speak to them. Every time I have a problem, Evan is the one who responds. It seems purposeful. He refuses to allow me to speak to any other GM even after repeated requests. Don’t get sucked into this game. You might get stuck with Evan the inept..Version: 1.6.6
✓ Pay to play...The rich will own you ... it’s not a game you can play without being forced to bow down to the biggest spenders... even at the top ... the power levels are so extremely overdone. The game was ruined when they introduced the legendary levels... but had to give the big spenders what they wanted.. total control of a server... and there is nothing you or your entire alliance can do about a single player.. even if your only 2 levels lower and even if you wanted to retaliate... there is a 5 minute timer... so they basically lay waste to your entire alliance while you wait for five minutes... all for any attack to fail miserably anyway... so now you sit... zero troops to gather and no resources to train any ... so how do you get back... yep... better spend some money .. or it’s months ... yes months ... to get even close to where you were ... do your self and keep looking .. the developers don’t care ...your response proves my point ! lol... do you even read these? ✓ Great game but Customer Service is poorI want to make it clear that I enjoy this game and have spent many hours playing it. My problem is with Customer Service. I had a problem develop with a payment of an in game purchase that caused an outstanding balance. When I was made aware if the issue, I took care of it right away, paying the balance with the games PayPal account. I left several messages using in game support (GM) over several days but got no response at all. I just tried to log on but I’ve been blocked and told to contact Customer Service. There is NO clear direction given on how to do that. The game is great but 3 stars is the best I can do given the situation. I would appreciate some help..Version: 1.9.8

✓ The game itself it great.I’ve played ROK for over 2 years. It was my first game like this. I loved the game at first. It was so much fun. The graphics are good, they do update a lot, add new things regularly, I rarely had trouble with bugs. Now for the downside. This game is all about money sadly. I’m not talking about a few hundred dollars. If you want to have any chance of competing you’ll need to spend 10s of thousands of dollars. I know lots of players that have spent more then 100k on their castles. If you have the money good for you. The problem lies in with so many people from different parts of the world in your kingdom, problems arise, civil wars, non spenders losing interest. A year or so into the game you realize there are only a few dozen die hard players left in your kingdom. So your kingdom can’t compete in KVK, you start to lose KVKs and more quit. ROK absolutely refuses to allow you to move your castle to a new kingdom. They promise kingdom merges but in 2 years they have had maybe 3 of them thats 18 kingdoms merged into 9. Out of over 400 kingdoms. Their solution is start over in a new kingdom and spend more money. It’s sad that ROK has run this game into the ground with their greed. If you play check out some of the older kingdoms and see for yourself. Many are dead or dying.Version: 1.7.7
✓ Lost my accountI have played this game for 3 years. When I was updated the game as it was requesting the update did not complete. When I was trying to open the game, it asked me to update in the App Store then it would not let me open the game. Reading the comments that have been written by other players in the update it stated by yourselves “please try delete the app, then re download the newest one in the AppStore”. After doing this the game took me back to the beginning of the game and all my data was lost I contact you by email for support then I was told to contact you within the game by the support in settings. ✓ Originally good, bugs making it worse.As a clone of Sultans revenge this game was originally good. It ran well for the most part and had been well tested and updated as necessary for years. With each new feature however, more and more game breaking bugs have cropped up. My alliances technology was just reset to zero after nearly maxing it out during this kingdom vs kingdom, making rallies impossible and reinforcing nearly so. Customer support has been silent so far and I don't hold out much hope of any compensation anyway given past interactions with them. ✓ The game needs to slow down with the pricy updatesI like this game and have spent a lot to develop my castle and my kingdom. But recently too many updates that cost 2-3K each to max. This put a lot of burden on me even if I am considered one of the mega spenders. I strongly advice the ROK team to slow down with their upgrades and take care of smaller players because if they quit we will no longer find someone to fight and most kingdoms will go to oblivion. As a quick fix 1. You need to merge the kingdoms which didn’t make it to the top 128 tournament, no need to wait. 2. Release not expensive, easy to get upgrades that can help small players to defend their castles (castles attack is not a challenge anymore). 3. Slow down on dragons and other strategic heroes because the gap is huge between spenders and non spenders already and no need to add more to it. 4. Add more free events that could bridge some of the gaps between mega, medium and non spenders. I hope ROK team will respond to players demands before everyone quits..Version: 1.9.0
✓ ReviveIts Good game, I enjoy playing it and have spent quite a lot of money as well, but I hate one feature of game the most is, no matter how much you hospital capacity is after someone attacks you or some of you alliance building which you have reinforced, your whole army dies, like I lost around 500k t6 troops. What’s going on here like my hospital can hold up to 450k troops. When I saw in the morning that someone attacked me and alliance building and my hospitals were empty like I had enough. It took me forever to build that army and now I have to rebuild everything from 0!! That’s just BS!! They setup events like the first person who reached 12M power would get a title and random things. When you contact the developer to get the title they never gave it. They recently had a glitch in the recent update and hundreds of players lossed resources troops and power that were not restored during the dragon update. ✓ I can’t... I just can’t...I downloaded this and started playing. Within minutes I realized that this game and ZGirls have almost the exact same setup and content. Two different developers, but game play is too much alike to be coincidence. Partners? Or did one rip off the other? I ended up deleting this game because of the similarities. I would love to find a game that is a good blend of Warcraft and Dota. Also I would love to see a game that has a pay aspect, but lets normal (non-paying players - because not everyone is rich) players get every item/character in a game through normal game play. ✓ ROK OGHey, there. I’m an OG at ROK. I’ve been playing since K16. KVK broke the game. Everyone wants peace now. You have so many mini games you have to spend an hour to do them all. Most are geared towards spending. The heroes that do anything useful have to be bought. So most spenders will always destroy you. Kingdoms open too quickly and leave us with half the players as when we started. Most that begin in a kingdom are actually waiting for the next. Or farms. So real players aren’t what they used to be. K16 we have 30 alliances full of active people. Now there MAYBE 3 full active teams by throne. After throne drama you’re down to 2 1/2 teams of active players. Hard to accomplish anything come kvk. Stop opening kingdoms twice a week and make people stay in their kingdom longer. Stop letting people hop. Oh, I know. Starting over is more spending. So they’d rather sacrifice the loyal players for the quick buck. The game isn’t what it used to be. ✓ HORRIBLE support serviceI have been playing since K97. I moved to K226 to start from a new kingdom to try it out. I had an issue being unable to log into my account. (Your log in is SAVED to the game so you can’t “forget” your password) I contacted support IMMEDIATELY. It took 4-5 days and my KINGDOM to all contact support for them to finally contact me. It has been well over a month and I have talked to 3 different support members, one in particular “Skeeter” who has not helped in the slightest. He has lied multiple times about the issue and blamed it on “me forgetting my password” (which you CANT FORGET BECAUSE ITS SAVED TO THE GAME). I wish I could post screenshots of all my conversations about this issue. Hundreds of dollars put into this game, I do NOT trust the support team. skeeter LIES and I have decided this morning I will NEVER play this game ever again. I do NOT trust this game at all. ✓ Use to like ROKRecently the Rise of Kings creators have been making it harder and harder for people to grow and excel in the game. A big part of this game is gathering resources and to collect resources many people have separate accounts in which they use to farm and play dragon challenge on to receive rss crates. The resource crates were a huge advantage in this game and now the game has made all crates from dragon challenge protected so they cannot be shared between accounts. Basically the game has become more and more of a money grab by the ROK creators. They make excuses as they don’t want to overload servers with extra castles used as farms, if this was the case then why allow farms in a game? Played the game 3 years in kingdom 7 and they have made it more difficult to grow with these protected rss from almost every event, the kingdom has been dead for over 2 years and we have begged support for merges which they finally came out with but not for our kingdom. The support staff is not so helpful at times and the game has many bugs..Version: 1.5.3

Unfortunately over time the game makers have got greedy and just keep creating new ways of fleecing you out of money. The explanations from support about why a castle with 1.3million troops can get owned in 4 attacks. ✓ Recent changes hurt ROK.I have been playing this game for a few months now and really enjoyed it until these latest changes. The new tournament of kingdoms is horrible. 1. They should call it the tournament of wishes. You get more points for making wishes in the fountain than the actual days topic. 2. The amount of points needed to get rewards is ridiculous. Even the players who spend a crap load of money can’t get the top rewards which these rewards are not worth it. 3. Each phase has a behind the scenes calculation that goes into the a kingdom total points. The developers need to setup so the players can calculate and not have to guess. 4. If you win the whole tournament but lose the last phase you lose. Basically the only good rewards for the kingdom come from winning the kingdom war phase. There is no point in trying to win the other phases or the tournament all together. 5. The rewards for winning the tournament are nothing. Graphics are good without being over the top. The events are decent but could use some work. There is one big big problem with the game though. That’s the developers. They push so many new servers none of them are full. Most of the players are transplants from other servers. So you could spend the time getting your castle set up only to battle a few hundred people tops. The top 10 alliances can’t even get a full roster of players because there are not enough people play. They provide no option to move your castle to another server after lvl 6. Gameplay is solid, developers are keeping server capacity very low for some reason. I played for about two weeks only after getting a clear view of what was going on. They don’t seem to account for the players that only play a few days and don’t want to keep playing. I used the in game support and was told to restart and use the read all button to get my rewards out of my email, unfortunately the email with that the rewards was in was gone and it didn’t work (which I included in the message). This is a game coding issue and another player is NOT going to be able to help with this! This new update cuts off part of the screen when in castle view so you can’t get to all your buildings. Oh and when you build the cannons it tells you how many REMAINING donations there are but it should say how many donations were made or count down. You will 100% encounter players who pay to upgrade faster than you, and then in essence have control of the whole environment and what you are exposed to. This is why I left the game, you spend a lot of time and effort and in the end it can be wiped out, or the environment you play in does not become fun. I remember when I first played it took a kingdom a good few weeks to a month to get some decent growth TOGETHER (which gives you plenty of time to enjoy the experience!) - now within a few days of a Kingdom opening, alliances are already exceeding 20M power! New heroes that make the previous heroes obsolete and the list goes on. This game is a money making scam now. L6 castles with 1100% infantry attack and badly designed T12 troops. No new avatars, horrible matching system in kvk, overlord.. Also to progress you need to make like 12 farm accounts and it requires 10 hours a day to achieve anything. I’m glad I left this game. This means that unless you have extremely deep pockets, you will never be competitive. The developers also don’t seem to realize that we all talk to each other, and we know that packs cost different amounts depending on where you live. ✓ What’s going on.I had a C30 castle just about to L1 in realm 383 I logged on only to find I’m in realm 2 starting from scratch. This is not on. Don’t know how this has happened. It happened when I followed instructions to update in the App Store. I’ve got up to level 14 now and it’s great to start again but I’m the only resident in realm 2 And I’ve lost all the money I used to get up to C30. Can you please look into this for me. There’s no balance in game, even a spender feels irritated with the constant updates of new heroes n other items. ✓ Version trashThe game is only good if you have a lot of money to spend on playing it in game. Otherwise you won’t have fun. Now I’m one of those that spent a lot of money on this game. The “GM” never helps when the game glitches. I’ve lost troops. Tons of resources. ✓ Earlier update where Cavalry has been diminishedA couple updates ago the programmers degraded the Cavalry troop type unnecessarily ... the update virtually made those players who have spent their money in order to focus on Cavalry. I am one of those who have spent quite a bit and then contacted game support. The response I received was either brushing me off or condescending in manner basically telling me I was wrong. ROK released an interview with a ArijaKnighter and Mars, in which it was clearly stated how the cavalry troop type downgraded. The crux off the matter being that the programmers have severely degraded the cavalry troop type even though there was nothing wrong with the game balance, the excuse being that ROK are releasing a new hero that players will need to spend loads of money to get it to level 120 just to regain the lost effectiveness of that troop type previously caused by the programmers. The last KvK I was attacked and lost a large number of troops. This was an error in the game play. I had used a 24 hour shield and sent screenshots shots of the whole incident twice now. How are you attacked in a shield? The error is clear and to some degree I wonder about k.v.k points given to enemy kingdom. Maybe it is why no response is forthcoming? ✓ Have to spend money to do wellPlayed this game for a little over a year. Spent many hundreds of dollars, maybe thousands even. Problem is, you can’t change locations after level 6. I got stuck in a region with several rich bullies that we couldn’t complete with and made progressing any further impossible. I ended up abandoning my entire account in the end. If you’re rich, you can do well. If you’re into free to play, you’ll only get so far and end up leaving the game eventually. There’s so many other better RPG games where you can progress at your own pace and budget. The game itself is fun, extremely well put together and addictive but unfortunately ruined by the rich bullies.Version: 1.8.5
