✓ Widget is uselessThis is a great app for trading, however the widget update is very useless with it timing out after 30 minutes and requiring a login every single time. My session time out a set of four hours, yeah I still have to re-login, using two factor authentication, roughly every 30 minutes or so if I want the widget to keep updated. This should be fixed so I do not need to login at all for the entire day and which should update automatically without any further sessions required. Logging in through the app should require logins, Yes, but the widget should be fully automated without requiring logins every single time I want to know how my portfolio was doing. At least give us this option. I might as well use the regular E*TRADE app which renders this app rather useless to me..Version: 3.19
✓ Very Slow, option prices do not update and does not recognize know company symbolFor the past 4 weeks it has been difficult to trade options and common stocks with this app. There is a huge lag in option price and common stock price. When I tried to buy or sell options of a underlying company like MSFT It gives me a error message saying it does not recognize symbol. I have lost money because of these issues. I have had this issue even when on a WiFi connection at home. If this continues, I will transfer all my money to another broker and close my account..Version: 3.11
✓ Poor design and layoutPoor design and layout, not enough thought put into how this app will work on handheld devices, for example I have a iPhone 12 promax, which has quite a big screen, however this app only works in One Direction in landscape mode, so many design flaws. Also, while looking at a chart in landscape mode, nearly a third of the whole screen is taken up by unnecessarily large heading, just poor thought. this is one of many. ✓ Please add option chart and fix random not loading bugsI keep having weird bugs when the chart would not load, i need to tap other tab then tap back to chart tab to hope that it will load. Same thing with option chains, sometimes some strike price row would not load and show - - instead of number. It also randomly log me out once in a while. Please also add option chart to show option price history and IV. The standard Etrade app has it why doesn’t power app?.Version: 3.19.3

✓ Extended hour quote does not work on option positionsWhen a position is a stock, the extended hour quote works before and after market hour. However if the position is an option the extended hour quote does not work. The webbrowser version of power E*TRADE works for both stock and option. I was the power E*TRADE app was designed specifically foe option traders but how can it be missing the extended hour quote on the iOS but works on the web version ?.Version: 3.19.1
✓ Doesn’t log in most daysMany times this app will say you need to call customer service because it has problems logging in but I was logged in only a few moments before. ✓ Really bad appI have been extremely frustrated and unhappy with this app. Almost every day it freezes, does doesn’t keep the current option chain in memory which necessitates it being reset to the current in the money price. It’s freezes sometimes in the option change chains and causes me not to be able to see the option prices. It’s sometimes just completely kicks me out. I’ve lost a great deal of money because of these problems. I’ve really liked the E*TRADE format but this app is just so disappointing to use and 90% of my trading is done through the phone. This is an iPhone and I had the same problems with the E*TRADE power app with iPhone 7 and this is an iPhone 11. I have reinstalled the app multiple times and reset all of the settings to the best of my ability. The limit order and the market order cannot be set except on the limit. I have to change it to market. I just am so frustrated with this app and I am seriously considering going to a different company because it is so friggin unreliable. Etrade get your act together and fix this because you’re gonna lose money and I’ve already lost money..Version: 4.7.6
✓ TerribleI have an iPhone 11 with up to date software and 256 GB and yet even with all other apps closed and running on my business WiFi this app lags and occasionally I have to close the app manually and re-login. Also sometimes it will show incorrect real time quotes from hours before but at the current time. Very disappointed and I do not recommend E*TRADE to anyone. Besides the fees they charge for trades, the fact that they cannot fix these bugs in the App is sad. I have even had technical support reach out and tell me that it is my phone and not the app. Seriously? As soon as my funds are settled I will switching brokers entirely as I am tired of losing money because I cannot see real-time price action. What a joke. Do not use E*TRADE folks! ✓ A piece of junk!E-trade apps are simply said pieces of junk!! I remember the “BELOVED OPTIONS HOUSE APP” from years ago which I absolutely loved, and then e-trade took over options house... so sad!! I’m not going to write a list of things that need to be better or could be better, they can look at the old options house app themselves; I’m just going to say that I absolutely hate e-trade apps and charts! Any other online broker would offer you better tools and way better apps to succeed, to name a few, Interactive Brokers, TD Ameritrade, and anything else would be better than e-trade. Remember that better tools and apps is the only thing that could help you succeed in the stock market. E-trade has absolutely no interest in listening to customers and improving their apps! ✓ Glad this app is now mobile but it doesn’t support iPad layout???I was very happy to see this now available on a mobile platform. I mistakenly was thinking this would be a great way to check my options on the iPad leveraging the larger footprint. But, shockingly, it doesn’t fit the iPad footprint nor does it even support rotating the view. I ended up deleting it off my iPad. I give it 3 stars only because it does work well on my iPhone. ✓ Bad chartsI was hoping the last update would fix charting issues. They are almost unusable so often because one incorrect candle appears at a stock value way off the scale making the rest of the chart data scaled down to a incomprehensible horizontal line. Open market charts still sometime get copied into after hours timespan so I see double at the end of the day. Probably need to share a snapshot to explain but all is very frustrating. ✓ What happened to the design!!As the old saying goes “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!” Not sure who had the brilliant idea to change the interface design, but please change it back. All of the relevant information that was needed to track my current stock information is now hidden!?! I have to click in to each individual stock to see everything which makes it very difficult to track and trade. This app has had a lot of issues that needed to be fixed (like conveniently crashing almost every time I need to do a quick trade) but one of the parts that made it great you decide to remove....makes me question if I should keep using your platform..Version: 3.7.0
✓ Poor user experienceAs an active trader I find this to be missing some key components that are readily available on the web application. There is no place to see or track your day’s realized gains. Everything is convoluted and so much more difficult than it should be. E*TRADE is a powerful platform and it would be nice to see them give some thought to user experience for mobile applications. It appears to be an application designed by engineers not a user experience professionals or trader. I otherwise love E*TRADE but I’m tempted to leave for other platforms that put user experience first. I’m not talking eye candy, I’m referring to being able to quickly assess a situation and make informed decisions very quickly. This app makes me feel like I’m trying to trade with a blindfold on and my hands tied behind my back ...it is very frustrating. Please consider a complete UI overhaul..Version: 3.15
✓ Needs work. A lot of work.I’m not sure what the standard is for apps like this but this one is terrible. Prices don’t update, positions are marked as losses when the asset is up, it makes no sense. The app has a terrible back end - the data needs to be updated in real time and displayed properly and accurately. The front end is well done and I have no complaints about the interface. However, I really prefer how the standard updates the price in after hours without having to use another separate tab for that. On a phone there is limited space. Can we get back that functionality? ✓ Getting betterCharts and options trading are good and better than the E*TRADE app. My biggest complaint since this app was launched is the fact that you can’t hide the account value, day gain/loss, and YTD gain/loss. There needs to be an option to hide this information because when you need to use it public you have to make sure no one is looking over your shoulder. ✓ Lack of iPad and Watch apps kills itI wanted to monitor my portfolio on my iPad using Power E*Trade because the design is so much nicer on iPhone. But there’s no iPad app for some reason (isn’t this the app for more advanced users?) so I’m stuck using the ugly website or the basic app. Bummer. It also doesn’t have a Watch app, but the regular app does — but seemingly offers no complications? At least not on Infograph Modular. ✓ Design flaw in option chainOverall the app is easy to use. Couple of shortcomings and one bug or design flaw I observed in option chain. The option strikes are not centred around the ATM strike but are at a random price far OTM. For each security I have to go in configuration to align the strikes around ATM price. Shortcomings: - ProbITM% not available. Have to depend on the delta as proxy Other major shortcomings on the platform - Buying power reduction or Margin equity used up by the trade is not available in preview. Need this for arriving at the return on capital(leveraged) - I typically use IV percentile which is readily available on other platforms. But on E*TRADE it is not available. Have to depend on IV rank which i believe presents lesser overall context for IV. Would need these features to really make this as my main platform. Thanks for reading.Version: 3.19.3

✓ Great app but missing the basicsIt’s sad that a great app like this is missing some of the basics “overview of portfolio performance “. I would like to see how my account has been doing over a period of time, am i losing am i gaining and how much? Right now I have to get calculator and add all my gains across accounts or in one account remember how much i started with then grab pen and paper and write them down or go to the other app to see the total balance across accounts. ✓ Options traders BEWAREThe gains shown in Power E*TRADE are not accurate for options. They do not reflect the fees that you pay for an option contract. If you are paying $0.50 per contract for example, and you buy 10 contracts the $5 you spent on fees is not reflected in the gains. Over time this is a big issue- Power E*TRADE can tell you you’ve made money when really you are at a loss. Let’s say you have done $2000 worth of options contracts over time, and finally you are profitable in the app by $100. You think you have profited $100 from your options trades, when in reality the app is not showing the fees, so you are actually down by $1900. Developers need to fix this ASAP!.Version: 3.19.3

✓ Futures Charts UnusableThis review comes after 10 business days of providing this feedback directly within the application and the issue not being resolved. The previous issue where the futures charts would not show data between 6p and 7p every night took three months to resolve. Now, any time that I open the app, the price shown on the chart does not update in line with the ladder price. ✓ Terrible Delay that will cost you moneyI switched from another broker after being sold on how perfect E*TRADE was. I started paper trading and informed the gentleman there was a delay from seconds to minutes once purchasing positions . I was told that it’s a paper issue only. I started trading real money and have since lost THOUSANDS. Yes you heard that right!!! I spoke to management and sent them numerous of screen recordings to show the issues and have since been told that since they can’t “replicate” the issue, that I will not be credited. STAY AWAY from this app if you are a trader who likes to day trade or scalp. If you are buying to hold long term, this would be okay for that. ✓ Bad platform. Lost $$$ because of no alerts/email/notification for margin callIt’s not a user friendly platform. It has happened twice on a Put Sell call that my options were automatically sold by Options house platform way before the expire date and I end up loosing money $$$. Reason is that I got a margin call which is ok (i could have added more money like all do) but the problem is that this App does not tell you that. No alert, no email, no notification and one day you goto your account and see the Option has been sold out - happened twice. Even if you goto Alerts in the menu, it says “No alerts” - try it. ✓ Worst Platform for Futures1) E*trade has no price alerts for Future. 2) For when your order gets filled, there’s only email alerts, no push notification alerts. 3) They only have regular stoplosses, no OCO or Trail-stoplosses. 4) They don’t offer custom orders. 5) Their charts are in military time only, there’s no option to switch to regular time. Freakin annoying. 6) You would think the future contracts you trade are by default associated with your futures account. Well, that’s not so. Oddly, they always set your default trades to your brokerage account, and it’s necessary - each time you open the up - to manually change it to your futures account. Welcome to 1980. 7) In my opinion, the interface is not user friendly. They can make it so much more simpler, just like Think or Swim. Think or swim’s interface is about ten million times more user friendly. In short, E*trade has a long way to go to be considered a futures trading platform. They’re lacking in so many key areas, plus their interface is horrible (compared to what it could be) that I would stay away from them (for “Future” traders) until they can get can implement all the items I listed above, as well as clean up their interface and make it clean and user-friendly..Version: 3.10.2
✓ Layout fixes would do a lotSimple layout fixes that simplify things and use a more vertical alignment may work better. The app had too many things that you need to swipe right or left on, when swiping up and down is much faster on a smart phone. If I could look at the greeks on a separate vertical screen like on the watchlist page, it would be much easier to read. Besides this there are many glitches such as incorrect gains and losses. ✓ Getting betterUpdate: I have to change my rating after using for quite sometime. There are so many bugs, tickers don’t get refreshed, sometimes it shows previous day value, the options settings near price term gets set to some random value and have to change this again and again. The app getting crashed often, positions bid / ask & profit / loss doesn’t get updated frequently. It’s literally getting impossible to use. Will wait to see if the next update going to have any major improvements , if not I might as well try other broker. Old review: Love the app and it is getting better with the updates but still there are improvements needed. 1. Positions on dashboard is good but it should actually show your current value (profit / loss) if you have options and tapping should take you to that position, instead it only have information about the stock price and opens quote details. 2. When you have multiple contracts under same stock you have to do one additional tap to see the each position profit / loss and select one to close it.
