Pedometer Plus for Negative User Reviews

Yay for complication, boo for being slightly uselessI got this because other better steps apps (like Pacer) do not have complications. However, this one has a different count on your phone app than on your watch. In addition, the complication is slightly useless. It doesn't auto refresh and show the right number unless you click on the complication to open the app. How silly is that?.Version: 1.3

CloseI’ve been using this app for a few days now and really like it running on my Series 9 watch. What I can’t figure out is how to sync my step count that I receive on the watch to my phone. As example, the watch shows 5250 steps, which is accurate, while the phone app only shows 3506 steps. Shouldn’t they be the same?.Version: 3.3

It works ?Bought it because it reminded me of my FitBit HR. Bought for my Apple Watch series 4. But it’s stuck at 343 steps on my iPhone 8 Plus and the widget. Not sure how to fix it..Version: 2.0

Great app, though a few tweaks are neededEnjoying the app, though I would like a few changes. I would like to be able to change it to Miles instead of Kilometres. Also I would like some sort of month report what can be saved on phone....then it would justify everything about it this app..Version: 2.2.1

OddTracks arm movements too..Version: 2.4.2

Widget on phone and watch out of syncIt seems like the widget on the phone doesn’t account for all steps in apple health kit if you have an Apple Watch. On a daily basis my Apple Watch widget displays the total number of step while my iPhone widget shows less than half of the steps on apple health.Version: 3.3

Settings unavailableCan’t get to settings with current iOS version but works ok otherwise for a free app.Version: 2.4.2

Can’t see steps from yesterdayI downloaded this app because it seemed simple to use, and collects no data. However, I was shocked to learn that you can only see the step count for the present day. I walked quite a bit yesterday, including late last night. However, that step count disappeared at midnight and was reset to zero for this morning. There does not appear to be a way of checking previous days! You can see a seven day average, but, this morning, I would have liked to know how many steps I walked yesterday, without having to remember to check it before midnight, like Cinderella. Seems a bit strange. Am I missing something?.Version: 2.4.2

Great, but one major drawbackQuite shocked the Apple Watch doesn’t have a pedometer app with complications built in from the get go, as I’m sure that many are like myself “upgrading” from a fitbit or similar. But on to this app. First of all, virtually everything is a positive. Well designed and intuitive etc. However (I presume this is due to a limitation of the Apple Watch) it is *very* slow to update on the complication. I had a fitbit previously that updated as you walked. With this app and the Apple Watch, I find myself opening the fitness app and scrolling down to find my actual steps, as the complication is often several hundred behind. There’s no alert when you’ve reached your daily target either. Overall, worth keeping an eye on and the developer has a great eye for design and UI. Would love to see live step counting and a goal completed alert..Version: 2.4.2

Seems effectiveI’ve been using this app on my watch for around a week now, and it seems to be effective at tracking steps. However, I’ve noticed several times that the complication on my watch face just does not update at all unless I re-open the app, even though I have background refresh on. This is frustrating because it often looks like I’ve made no progress at all..Version: 2.4.1

InaccurateInaccurate.Version: 2.1

Need improvementThe app is not syncing with the Watch I have 2 different readings on both iPhone & Watch.Version: 2.0

Needs workThe app on my phone and the steps on my watch do not match. Looking forward to this working properly.Version: 1.3

DisappointingI got this app thinking I could use it as a watch face, but it doesn’t work. Disappointed with this app cause it’s not like the pictures shown in App Store..Version: 2.0

Adjust minimum stepsI am disabled and track my steps. It’s discouraging to not be able to reduce the goal to meet what I can actually do..Version: 2.4.2

Pedometer +I just deleted the app. It kept count of all my steps in conjunction with the Apple Watch series 8 then it stopped. It would only counts steps that I took with my phone. I was baffled to see only hundreds of steps after a 5 mile walk. I trouble shoot both items and still couldn’t get it to load the steps from my exercise. I gave it 3 stars because I know it hadn’t always been like this or I wouldn’t have kept it for as long as I had..Version: 3.2

No explainationThe newer version gives no info on its site.Version: 3.3

Apple WatchNot sure what happened but this app no longer syncs with my iPhone or Apple Watch. I have uninstalled it and then then reinstalled and still does appear in the complications on my watch. Worked great until the last update. That would be reason for 1 star..Version: 1.7

Overcounts stepsI REALLY want to love this app. In theory, it does exactly what I need: It provides a steps complication for my Apple Watch. But the counting is inaccurate. For example, I went out for lunch today, and when I got home, I'd logged about 1,000 steps. Based upon where I had parked and eaten, that seemed correct. Came home, did some laundry, and changed my bed linens—and now it shows 3,360 steps!! There's NO WAY that's accurate!! Developer, if you can prove that this is the fault of the watch and NOT your app, I'll revise my review. I realize it's a free app—and I'm grateful for that. But it needs to be accurate!! If accuracy costs money, I'll pay. But "free and inaccurate" isn't working for me..Version: 2.4.2

Terrible AccuracyThis complication/app is terribly inaccurate. My activity tracker that came with my watch says I have done over 900 steps while this app says 200. Trying something else! Don't waste your time with this one..Version: 1.4

Needs helpGreat idea but still doesn't update lube our match the default health steps count. Hopefully it can be updated. Waste of money in its current state..Version: 1.6

I’ve loved this app, but …This has been my go-to app for more than a year. In the last week an update that it removed one of the things that I had loved. Now, it only shows the day’s steps and overall trends, whereas before there were three screens that also showed the past week’s performance and accumulation. I really loved that function and now it seems to have disappeared. I paid for the Plus version of this app and am not sure what has happened..Version: 3.0

CrapPlease don’t waste penny on this it’s crap it’s good for nothing it never show any watch faces Very bad and worst app it’s worst than default app on iPhone.Version: 2.0
