✓ Developers stopped respondingDevelopers stopped responding when there game went wrong on my phone. Still no answers... Need more things to do, and way more exploration of missions and bosses, plus more items and better controls, but besides that the game itself is good. Price is a tad high but it’s apple get use to paying 300% for everything. ✓ Amazing game, iOS version is a let down.I previously bought this game on PC and really enjoyed it, so when I saw it in the App Store I bought it without hesitation. Unfortunately, it's really been dumbed down for iOS. For example, the tutorial storyline is much shorter and the controls have been greatly simplified. Given the nature of mobile gaming, that's understandable, if disappointing. Sadly the same can't be said for the lack of support for either keyboard or mFi controller. There was absolutely no reason for the developers to leave out this functionality and it really hurts gameplay on a larger devices such as the iPad Pro, where this game had the most potential to shine..Version: 1.76

✓ Overall a good game but melee combat is poor.There seems to be no way to improve your characters combat skills. When blocking you are always staggered. You do minimal damage with your sword and there seems to be no way to improve this. There seems to be no way to reduce charge time of the pistols. ✓ Love the game but...I love play the game and I love the new add on to it where you walk on land and stuff... but The lost Provence mission with the princess is IMPOSSIBLE idk if it’s you saying it’s not ready yes or you haven’t completed the rest of the story but you expect me to believe that your character is able to walk into that hoard of pirates with flint locks all aimed at you some how defeat them and bring back the princess. I can’t manage to kill one before I’m dead to possibly 13 other pirates . I highly suggest making it so you can bring your crew on land with you. ✓ Fun, but quite a few bugs!Its fun in the first 1-2 hrs but then the bugs start nagging the game. You travel on map and then when going to a city you arrive just in time to die without warning. I also tried buying a spyglass for 400 coins but it kept telling me I didnt have enough coins... huh? I had more then enough, had enough for 3 of them! And more other bugs... they should really test their production BEFORE releasing it to grab our 11$, snif snif. You should probably also consider Sid's Pirates as it is just as much fun, in my humble opinion! Update May 12; this game sucks. I am playing on easiest difficulty and they keep coming 4-5 ships at me again and again, and sink me 9/10 times. Thats it! I give up on this waste of money! Keep the change!!!.Version: 1.4
✓ Quite good but...Overall, the game is ok. It needs some improvements (for example my game crashes every time I try to pick up treasure found by random rocks etc..) and we definitely need more freedom when upgrading/modifying our ships, let each one be unique (mixture of sails, cannons, even rudders?) and I would also like to follow treasure maps that lead to a specific island where you must leave your ship and explore on foot (get to shore using a controllable rowing boat and have exploration teams of men like when you are boarding an enemy. Plus ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!! DEVS PLEASE READ: I logged on yesterday to find my battleship 2 and all of my progress, LITERALLY ALL OF IT, including map discovery and artefacts was gone. I hesitantly downloaded and found the game broke and crashing. I’m now locked on the same screen in the tutorial where it’s trying to teach the questing system. ✓ Don’t waste your moneyVery, very bad - waste of money, don’t buy! No tactics whatsoever, just sail and shoot, can shoot through islands and can never lure enemy onto islands (despite you being able to wreck your boat on them). Very little help finding out what missions entail and how to go about them. Pretty but rubbish - I’d get my money back if I could! Thank you for getting in touch - that is great to read. I think the problems are: 1. We can fire/be fired at through rocks (so you can’t use any tactics) 2. There is no wind allowance in the game - so you can’t flee by using the wind, and turning is always the same for you and the enemy, meaning no advantage wherever the wind is blowing These are key at the start when the enemy is extremely strong 3. Then there is the lack of information about how to trade, what the different factions mean and the effect on you. 4. Then there are the quests that give you no feedback on how you are doing or what you are achieving...you just go on, getting each new target without a view on what you are achieving/what you will get at the end. 5. Then there is no real explanation of how to improve your ship, what ships are out there to avoid and which you should attack. I think the issues is that this is a vast game on pc and Mac...and you’ve attempted to make it into an iPAD game - I’ve only seen this done well once - Xcom Tvm 🙂.Version: 1.5.8

✓ Not yet ...With a complicated tutorial, a lack of clarity in the map ... and some annoying UI features, you end up dying a great deal in this game. I've given it a good go today, wanting to love it, but the fact is it still needs more work. Frustrating narrative glitches while you play result in your being pulled out of the story, or missing bits, or seeing the same segments of story repeated over and over. ✓ Game can be played on the subway.Ok. I’m sure there’s others. But it was nice to have a game that I could continue to play—even after my connection is dropped between subway stations. I’ve dropped the star count down to one, after having stopped playing from Land Quest problems. I’ve been waiting for a new release with a hopeful fix—but it looks like it’s going to be awhile. The problems I was running into may have been entirely map related...I don’t know. But when I tried walking to the location, on the map, that indicated something was there—hopefully my quest—I couldn’t find anything. I’d check the surrounding area, but nothing showed up. I’m looking forward to playing the game, again, but I felt it had become a waste of time until some fixes on the Land Quests came through. ✓ Easy, Repetitive, and Boring.The game on the hardest difficulty is rather easy. As long as you have ammunition you can’t really lose the fights, other than the beasts which seem broken or are designed to be too hard. The Ghost Captives quest allows you to easily get the Battleship II (Best Ship) with the starter ship. After you get the Battleship II which only takes about 30 minutes you just travel around and kill ships that are easily outmatched, such as killing 6 other ships solo and taking no damage. Most of the game is sailing in the world map and doing the same quests while the other half of the game is following enemy ships and just staying out of their cannon range. Objectives do not need to be read as the quests give you waypoints on exactly where to go. Never figured out how or where the multiplayer was after about 4 hours of gameplay, but I assume its part of the DLC which I did not buy. Not worth the money for the game..Version: 1.75
