Issues with SiriusXM still persistI just bought a new vehicle, and it came with SiriusXM. When I found out the Samsung Multiroom App had a SiriusXM login, I was thrilled. After repeated attempts to get it to work, the thrill went right out the window. After checking various forum posts on Samsung’s website, I found out I’m not the only one with this issue. Is this Samsung quality???? GarbageThe idea of this Bluetooth multi-speaker, multi-room is great. The R1 cylinder speakers give a great, rich sound but the app is glitchy. Speakers drop off spontaneously, the volume turns its self down or off on its own. The app is too rigid on what you can listen to - iTunes works but only some tunes, no Netflix, no videos from internet browser. . . You can connect directly to one speaker through Bluetooth and it will work like a normal speaker but if you want more speakers, you need the app and it is brutally unreliable..Version: 4105

Finding speakers on WiFi issueHaving just read the post from Wednesday 22 Jan I'm prompted to add this. You are right app needs significant updating. I spent over£1000 on Samsung wireless speakers and the level of support and professionalism dedicated to this system is dire, almost dropped. However, I've found that if you install your speakers using the app on an older iOS version it will find them and install. My daughter has iPhone 6 and it worked from there. I've spent hours messing around bwith this though and for the kind of money you took, it's frankly not good enough..Version: 4132

Works good but not with SiriusXMI love the Samsung radiant speakers, and this app works pretty well until a new release breaks the Sirius XM compatibility. Samsung, please fix this, as app release 4145 is broken again with SiriusXM. I will reevaluate my rating once this bug is fixed. Buggy integration with DeezerWhile most music services work fine e.g. Spotify Connect, TuneIn, Tidal, Qobuz etc. The Deezer integration is buggy and currently (April 2021) does not work at all. This has happened before and was rectified so it’s disappointing it’s happened again after a few months. PoorJust purchased the two R1 surround speakers to connect to my K650 sound bar. I found out today from Samsung technical support that you need a samsung tv in order to get the surround to work. This is because the later Samsung Tv’s transmit 5.1 surround via wifi the using built in app. I have Amazon music, and by the look of it, this app does not support Amazon. So i have these 2 x r1 speakers for just for ‘tune in’ or any tracks i have on my ipad. Waste of time. The speakers sound great though. No customer support, false claims by SamsungI bought a pair of Samsung Wi-Fi speakers because this app claims to support Sirius XM. I upgraded my Sirius account so I could listen on these speakers. It worked until a few months ago but now I can’t sign onto Sirius through the app. I’ve spent over two hours with Samsung and Sirius, who both blamed each other. The Samsung support forum clearly shows many others have the same problem. They have also blamed apple (since its an iOS app) and the app developer. Bad appReally bad out there is several problems with this app. Number one it does not stay connected to the speaker much less multiple speakers. Number two if it doesn't connect to a supposedly compatible device, well, I guess you know the rest of the story it doesn't even identify or recognize any other device. Disappointing software for a great sound barI have downloaded this app to use with a Samsung sound-bar, which sounds really great. The software is of a rather inferior quality and seems clunky and unreliable. On several occasions i have been unable to switch between the Tune in radio app and music on the iPhone without restarting the app. Scrolling through album titles can cause the app to crash It has entirely frozen on me today and affected all connected Apple devices, which all froze simultaneously, requiring a reboot of the sound-bar. There is also no support for Google Music which, to be fair, i was aware of before i bought the sound bar, but this is a serious omission for a company which is trying to compete with Sonos, whose software is vastly superior. If Samsung is serious about this market they need to up their game on the apps. And whilst I am at it, the desktop software, allowing iTunes music on the iMac to be streamed, needs to be sorted too. It is accepted that this is a beta version but does not work seamlessly with this app and may well nave been the cause of the freeze. Loading it onto the Mac is also a workup as Apple wont allow it to be installed as the developer is unknown. There is a work-round but this should not be necessary. This desktop app is advertised by Samsung so should be better than this. Come on Samsung, put the same level of resources into the software as you have done with the hardware. I was about to buy more speakers but probably wont now until the software is sorted!.Version: 4131

Please update for iOS13!I keep having to delete and reinstall the app because it can’t find the wifi. Once I reinstall, it seems to reboot and is then able to find the wifi network. Getting betterI've had my 5 Samsung speakers for several years, they are spread around the house and I love them! Going DownhillUpdate on January 6, 2017: App will not work with SiriusXM. Not sure what changed. Nothing in my SiriusXM account changed. Awful. I like the app when it is fully working. Flaky and unfriendlyI was surprised at how poor this app is considering the might of Samsung. It seems very buggy, the volume jumps up/down uncontrollably for no reason, and accessing the controls is not intuitive at all. WoefulGreat speakers but sadly let down by this second rate app, Samsung needs to step up its game if it wants to compete in the connected home music space. Clunky set up of speakers, some will need multiple resets to get them to work properly, no user defined network pairing so hopeless if you have a mesh network or more than one router. You have to group and ungroup speakers via the app & you can’t have stored favourites groups, the app takes too long to respond and the supported music services are very disappointing and keep stoping or resetting for no reason. It wouldn’t take much to turn this from crap to credible - pull your finger out Samsung and provide the services your customers need..Version: 4105

Unreliable and ineffectiveThis system is fine as long as you only have one speaker. As soon as you try to use multiple speakers, or surround sound, the problems begin. Whether disabled functions like eq, or poor balance between soundbar/surrounds it just frustrates. That frustration is only compounded with successive attempts to talk to support. Their Facebook account is very efficient at promising support, their support dept are very efficient at avoiding providing any. MrStill cannot adjust equaliser settings in stereo mode..Version: 4066

Surround sound setup is horribleConstantly loses surround sound settings and navigating to that setup is difficult at best..Version: 4132

Worked once now won't connectInitial set up was straight forward and worked first time unlike experiences of other users. Gone to use it couple of days later and it is trying to make me go through set up process again. Use existing speaker option shows nothing, tried connect to new speaker and it insists devices are not on same router (they are), sound bar is too far from router (18 inches) and any other reason it can think of apart from it is rubbish software. Come on Samsung sort it out.Version: 4042
