✓ Multi packThough the game I have played is good, for some reason when I bought the multipack, I was only able to download and play episode 2, any other episode asks me to buy the multipack or get the episode alone! Please help.Version: 1.8
✓ Missing contentThe iOS version is missing scenes that are present in the PC and console versions of this game. The opening scene is meant to cut stylishly back and forth between Batman and Bruce Wayne, contrasting the impression Batman makes on people, with the harsh reality of the physical toll it takes on Bruce. The iOS version skips these cutaways, and simply cuts awkwardly to Bruce at the end, as he brushes off an emotional plea from Alfred that seems utterly random without the missing scenes. That’s as far as I got and I’m not willing to play any more if the game is missing chunks of the story, which is the only reason to play Telltale games in the first place..Version: 1.8
✓ 1 Star... for now.I loved playing through the first episode. I thought the story was great and the choice system is very interesting. I liked it so much, I bought the full game. However, the game is still asking me to purchase the episodes even if though I was charged for it. On top of that, the game does have a lot of technical issues, like frame rate and crashes. It also won’t recognize my Telltale Account login when I try to log in. It seems like a great concept but is poorly executed. ✓ You need to consider what you’re buyingIf you’re buying this because it’s a terrific animated comic in the Batman universe with a stunning story then please do and enjoy. If your intention is to purchase a game in the Batman universe...there are other games that are superior. Far superior to this “game”. This is an animated comic that asks you to occasionally swipe and poke the screen at key times to invoke the sense of interaction. Most of the time if you simply ignore the requests, they will go away and the narrative will continue until the next request, which, again, in most cases you are free to ignore completely......not a game as much as a loosely interactive narrative, and in my opinion not very good at that. I’m very happy they allow you to have the first episode for free as I would not be just disappointed, but outright angry if I’d paid money for this. Telltale, I love you. I love what you do and how you do it, I own most of your products on pc and over the years you have earned my respect as a game maker. Your name alone warrants that I have a look at your products without question, but this current direction is questionable and gives me pause for many reasons that I won’t go into here. If this is the new Telltale, I won’t be continuing the journey with you, sorry. Again, if you are looking for a mildly interactive narrative experience, this is excellent. ✓ Would be good if it wasn't so buggyI've finished it and the gameplay and story are pretty good, but it is way too buggy at present. Initially I couldn't even play it. It literally wouldn't let me play. This was on a new iPhone 7+. The first time I tried to play it crashed in the opening cutscene. Each time I've tried after that it wouldn't even load that cutscene. The screen would just go black and stay black. Even after restarting the phone. About a month after those initial problems I came back to the game and it worked. There were some relatively minor bugs with the graphics and sometimes the audio for dialogue not playing. But then it would also crash a couple of times per episode (on average). After a crash it would only load the save properly if I first restarted my phone. In fact, anytime I had to load a save it would only work if I first restarted my phone. As I said, the game itself is good. If they fix the bugs it'll be worthy of four stars..Version: 1.6

✓ Too many glitchesSo the game play is cool and how your choices affect the game are great. The issue I have with the game is I constantly lose my data even after I upload it to a cloud as the game shows. Right now I lost all background and other characters in the game and even after rebooting the game it still won’t fix and there’s no option to restart the chapter. Idk what the deal is. ✓ Graphics problemsI downloaded this game on my iPad Pro the other day and apart from a few jitters it worked well and seemed to have a good Story. I played through the first episode and enjoyed it so bought the multipack for the rest of the episodes, but when I tried to play them had major problems with the gam enot displaying all the layers correctly. I was getting floating heads with no eyes and other items floating around. Great game but unplayable for me because of that. ✓ Great story and yet a not-so-good gameI just finished the game, and now am writing a fresh review. It is easily assumed that gamers are about to play an action/adventure game before entering any Batman game. However it wasn’t that case for this one. It is basically a conversational game, and all those plots and storylines make it a fancy conversational game. The story is tremendously ambitious and totally surprises me in the first place. And... so much for complimentary. As for a game, it fails, for instance, to even respond to gamers. Sometimes I swipe or tap and the icons don’t respond at all (the appearance of them don’t change), and it causes anxiety. Even more ironically, Batman can still act sometimes while I don’t tap the button. In that way, why bother play a game rather than watch a Batman film? Last but not least, I played with subtitles in mandarin. The translation is disastrously awful! How awful? Just like a Chinese elementary school kid’s English homework. ✓ The quality of visuals is extremely badIt's so blurry, the visual graphic level is so bad. It doesn't fit the full resolution of my iPhone 6 screen, might be a compatibility issue. There is lag between scenes, and this makes it hard to play when it cuts to a scene where you have to press and swipe because the lag cuts the start of the scene by a split second which makes every decision a small anxiety attack. The new button designs and the swipe animations look worse than the classic designs, although this may be due to the low quality blurry visual resolution. Needs updating..Version: 1.6

✓ Game is well done but is not great on the iPhone X.It’s a real shame that Telltale hasn’t optimized this excellent game for the iPhone X. The screen is shrunken so much on the screen that I would guess that only around 60-65% of the screen is being used with the huge black bars that surround the image on all four sides. Hell, just zoom in to fill the screen vertically when in landscape mode, the image would be much more visible (and playable!) like that. Once finishing episode 2 my purchase of the other episodes didn’t show and I was prompted to buy them again. I’ve now finished episode 3 and again can’t access episode 4 and am prompted to buy it again. ✓ Telltale Games are the greatest, but problem...I bought the whole 5 episode pack and from the time the game starts where the security guard gets shot in the face (awesome to see in a Batman game btw, very controversial and awesome), the game looks as though the background disappears and the bad guys are running on flat surfaces surrounded by darkness... I have an iPhone 6 with plenty of space and good care and I can’t play it without it crashing before the catwoman conflict ensues. I cherish your gaming experiences and want to progress to “The Enemy Within” But it is not allowing me and there are a few scenes I’ve seen on the PS4 version not included in my game (from what I can see) like when Bruce and Alfred are talking by the fire place... does Telltale transfer the entire game to the iPhone or are there scenes and bits that the company leaves out of the iPhone versions for whatever reason? I sincerely hope my dilemma and inquiries make sense and are easy to address so that I can adjust this rating back to 5 stars like all your other games. I'm guessing I'm supposed to be able to read in-game content like posters and character bios on the bat-computer, but the resolution is so poor these look like they have been blurred out and redacted. ✓ You can’t take payment and not deliverThe game is great but I’ve so far paid for the full episodes only to be told I already own them ( not sure how) but having said I owed them still asks me to pay. Having not owned them and not being able to pay for the full episodes (keeps saying I own them) I wen my for paying episode by episode. Turns out that on occasion I can actually pay for an episode only for it to ask me to repurchase it again a day or two later. So far I have paid for two episodes that I haven’t been able to access. There’s nothing useful online about how to remedy this and many people seem to have this problem. I play on my iPhone if that helps. ✓ Broken and Literally Unplayable; Caveat EmptorI recently have downloaded three games made by Telltale, including this Batman title. (The other two were Batman: The Enemy Within and The Wolf Among Us.) I had previously purchased all episodes for each of the games, but I did not have the time or storage to play them. All three games suffer from the same critical problem. The first episode downloads without incident, but none of the additional episodes download. Instead, it simply states "coming soon" for episodes that have been released for years. The Wolf Among Us also demonstrates graphical glitching on the episodes menu. I'm aware Telltale folded in October 2018, but after paying $15 (or more) for each game, respectively, it is not unreasonable to expect to receive what I paid for. I'm hoping this is a tempory problem caused by some isolated compatability issue. Until then, avoid purchasing any of the games I set forth above. As of now, it's a waste of money. I will happily change this review if and when the problems are resolved..Version: 1.8

✓ Paid For Every Episode, Then The Game Keeps CrashingEvery time I try to play through the first episode, the game keeps crashing at the point where Bruce Wayne is greeting his guests early on in the episode, then I get kicked out of the app and I’m forced to start playing from the beginning of that part of the chapter again. This is already annoying enough but to make matters worse, I’ve literally just bought all of the episodes which were expensive and I feel like I’ve been cheated out of my hard earned money. The game was working fine until I updated my iPad to iOS 11.0.3, which was when I started having these serious problems. Is there any way that your games company can update this game to work using the latest iOS update? Does anybody have any advise on what I can do in this situation? ✓ AwfulI have played the PS4 version of this game so I know what shouldn't be there, such as blacking out of objects and settings, random flashing, AND, I should at the very least be able to move Bruce from one end of the room to another! They delay in release date compared to the console versions should've meant this didn't happen and that includes the ridiculous loading times. ✓ Add the feature to skip and to save where I left off.I love the games you made after playing back to the future and walking dead. However, my schedule is being busy and I can “play” (which is actually reading). When I’m doing something, I resumed only to find out that I have to start all over again. This TELLTALE company is only one I know doesn’t have auto save for the very scene where I left off. I ended up having to endure the dialogue and I couldn’t skip to the point where I left off. That’s the reason for one star. Until you actually add those features on all games, I’ll be glad to pay for it. And - don’t just say that you will reply to the company about my feedback. Just do it. JUST DO IT - other games like Ace Attorney and Final Fantasy - they always take me to the point where I left off. That tells me that they are thoughtful while you’re not. ✓ Well, that was a waste...I was enjoying the game until it had a serious error loading a playing episode 5. Not wanting to start over from the beginning, I contacted support. After 2 weeks of correspondence with someone who seemed completely unfamiliar with their product, I was instructed to “delete all save data then go thru the cloud import process from there”. The import process won’t work, so now I just have to start over from the beginning. ...but hey, they got paid, so who cares....Version: 1.9

✓ Issue with purchase and no response from teamIt’s a huge shame I have to write this. I loved the gameplay. The story was progressing great, it was easy to play and fun and an awesome distraction from life. I loved it so much I purchased the multipack. I bought all the episodes. As I finished episode two, I put my phone done to deal with my mom’s medication. I came back, ready to download episode three... only to be met with an ad to download all episodes for 15 dollars.... but I thought I already did? Yeah, I have the receipt. But now all other episodes are asking for individual purchases or 15 dollars to repurchase all of the episodes. I don’t have money to spare. I reached out for help. I sent two emails. I’ve submitted two requests for assistance. I’ve heard NOTHING but a form letter telling me to contact support for assistance... I guess I’ll have to go with my bank to dispute the charge. ✓ Delete and reinstall to solve downloading issues on ep4&5Great game for the first 3 episodes but when I got to episode 4, it stops downloading at 35% on iPhone XR. I see other ppl having the same problem. I had to delete and reinstall it twice in order to get ep’s 4&5 to download. The big problem is that none of my choices have been saved when starting ep 4. I could start ep4 with default choices or I have to start again from ep 1. Telltale has gone bust. ✓ I do love this game but the port is badFirst of all, I am a fan of telltale games and I really love how they deliver the story in this game too. But there are so many flaws in ios version of this game. First, graphic. I am playing this game on my ipad pro 11 iphone xs. But for both of the devices, the resolution of the game is so low and do not fit to the screen. Especially on the ipad, the game play screen is using only about half of the entire ipad screen. Also, the resolution of the game is too low that makes everything kind of blurry. Second is icloud sync. I have an iphone and an ipad. I usually play this game on ipad at home but when I am outside, I hoped I can continue playing this game on my phone as advertised. After playing about an hour on my ipad, I tried to sync the save file to my phone. But it wasn't syncing. I tried to reboot the game on my ipad and app crashed and save file was gone. I played the game little bit just to get a save file and tried to make the save file sync. After trying several more times, the file finally synced one time from my ipad to my iphone. But that was the first and last time that the save file was synced. I kept trying to sync the file but it never worked. I really love this game but cant play properly on ios devices. ✓ Storyline is amazing but the bugs are infuriatingReally enjoying the storyline and a few moments of jaw dropping twists, I just hope it continues after I’ve completed the first set of chapters! The downside is, I purchased the multi-pack and every time I complete an episode it removes my purchase history. Follow the guide for this bug to try and restore purchases but ultimately the only thing that fixes it is to completely remove the app, restart phone, download again and then restore purchases but lose my history. It’s truly infuriating!! Please get this bug fixed. As a result, my review went from 4 stars down to 2....Version: 1.9
