✓ Fun but...I enjoy this game and play it on a regular basis. You don’t have to spend money to advance in the game but if you don’t spend you will move at a snails pace. Its not pay to win but it’s Delfina pay to advance faster. It’s very difficult to get some of the better quality heroes with out spending money. And even then it’s even more difficult to advance them with out spending more money. I would love to know how much some of these whales spent to get a full team of premium e5 light and dark heroes. That said, I’ve spent a little on this game only because I feel if I get some enjoyment out of it I don’t mind throwing some money the devs way as a thank you for a game I like. However I will not be spending any more than I’ve already spent on it. The bang for your buck just isn’t worth it to me. $100 for a 5* hero that you then have to spend more $$$ to get additional copies of that hero in order to advance them to the higher levels?? Forget about it. I’ll just continue to grind along at glacial speeds until it becomes boring and then I’ll move on..Version: 1.23.0
✓ Adverts show you fake thingI downloaded this game knowing it would be bad and surprise surprise it doesn’t disappoint auto battling does not level up your monster but instead give the equivalent of gold and xp they it’s super easy to get a 6 star heroes and shows somebody combining 1 stars to get one well guess what fake news you won’t get a 6 star instead you have get specific five stars to craft one which is stupidly hard since you have get pieces to make them or just give them your credit card and buy a stupid amount of gems so I do not recommend getting this game :/.Version: 1.29.0
✓ Great but greedyI honestly love this game but feel its restricted behind an giant pay wall. For example, some of the monthly heroes they release can cost $99 USD. That’s basically $150 for a single hero, I can purchase 2-3 AAA PC titles for the same price that will give me many hours of non stop play. Which brings me to the next issue. Higher campaign levels are level capped, so while I have gotten my heroes to a power level that can defeat these easily, I have to wait days for the game to passively grind enough XP to progress. Overall a very enjoyable game, but it does feel very restricted and I find that I can only log in, complete my daily quests and guild raids and then log out again, there is simply nothing else I can do in the game until I hit a high enough level to grind higher campaign. Mini games of activities to keep my playing and possibly reward time played with bonuses you could otherwise only pay for would be a great addition..Version: 1.19.0

They don’t listen to their player base (which are quite dedicated) and the rates and rewards are mediocre. ✓ Horrible experienceSomehow 10/50 of my daily log in reward got sold. I didn’t sell them so now at the end of the month I’ll have 40/50 of a useless character I’ve faithfully logged in everyday to try to achieve. Complained about it several times with every avenue I could find to reach someone. Logically why would I sell part of it to turn around and so persistently pursue correcting this issue. You can lock a character but not the shards you are saving up for. Maybe I slept on my phone wrong. Either way they don’t mind screwing you over or allowing you to be screwed over. They refuse to fix my loss. Really feel like I was cheated by them out of my reward. Pumped a lot of money into the game. Of coarse that’s all it’s really designed for. Make money doing the least possible and refuse to be helpful to those that need it. Probably quit playing soon. Reasonably fun game. Someone else will add another paying slot after I opt out. Personally, I think they are just crappy people. ✓ Great game BUT very poor support!Quite a complex interesting game where F2P & P2W coexist pretty well. However, while there appears to be plenty of development for game improvement, their game support is severely lacking with highly variable to no knowledge of problem solving or understanding of issues. There is a lack of empathy for their paying customers in refusing simple requests to inability to fix actual issues. An example of a serious issue is that if you happen to play this game on multiple devices with more than one account, you will experience errors and failures with simple in-game purchases that have been continuing for the past 2 months with no ETA given to fix. ✓ Money pit but F2P possibleGame is fun overall, progression is pretty slow. I’m currently level 85 and I cannot progress with the main campaign because it’s locked behind a levelling system where I have to wait almost 2 days to level my avatar up so I can progress 2 more levels. The game is incredibly slow if your F2P and if you’re a dolphin/whale expect to get some terrible draw rates with a pity system that doesn’t work because you need pairs of champs to level your character past level 5 . I’m currently 236 draws dry from a 5* draw. Fun game but expect to be a very patient F2P player taking (not joking) years to progress to the end game or sink at least $500+ for a mid tier account which is stuck behind an avatar levelling progression system which active stops you progressing at the rate you want..Version: 1.32.1

✓ DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!!I started this game. Before the dark ages. When the devs still cared at least a bit about the players. This game is heavily addicting, and so many people, including myself got sucked in, and it’s very hard to get out. I’m still stuck here, but I would never say to play this game. I would never recommend it. If you didn’t start 2 years ago, you should never start. The devs don’t care anymore, they only want money. That’s the point of this game. Spend thousands and win. There’s no other way. If you start new, spend a few thousand, and build one character, and you’ll beat everyone. That’s the only advice to give. You have no other options if you want to play. This game was great once, but that day is long gone. The ads are heavily inaccurate, don’t hope it’s like that, because it’s not. Take it from me, and dozens of thousands of people who wished they never started playing. It destroys you. Don’t download it, just go and enjoy time with your family. Go outside. ✓ Extremely greedy devs, not even hiding it anymore.I’ve been playing for over 6 months and spent around $35 so far, but I’ve seen that each event gets more expensive each time. Every new hero they add is so rediculously OP that any whale who grabs it has an immediate lead and advantage over everyone else. The real push for this review is the latest Lunar Year/Valentines event. My server hasn’t even updated but I look through the reddit pages for “spoilers” and I’m so disgusted by how expensive every pack is. A big slap in the face for everyone, yes including the uber whales, is that it’s yet another Summoning event when the last one was 2 weeks ago, and the summon requirement to complete it is 650 SCROLLS. Who has that kind of money? I think DH devs are just scrounging for every penny they can find in our pockets, expecting us to hand our wallets and credit cards over with no questions. Not to mention this Shelter event that they “learned from” previously. Clearly they learned nothing and made it somehow worse with the light/dark heroes requiring 3000 gems, 30m gold, and 2 5-star light/dark heroes. Now the event-specific drops, those are on-par with Shelter and even has the tiered “locks” like the Halloween event, hiding the actually good items behind a profile picture and a useless skin which you MUST buy before the others. ✓ Good game, but....Game is actually good, but soon as you realise that you have to spend massive amounts of real money to be able to get good hero’s, the game gets annoying and disappointing. If you don’t spend lots of real money, you will struggle in every aspect of this game and you will always lose battles, raids and guild battles. The points and rewards are only for people with big bank accounts. I do not recommend wasting your time on this game, because you’ll only get so far before realising that it’s fixed. Events are becoming locked behind paywalls and unless you have +$1000 to spend, you most likely cannot complete an event. I would like to see the Idle Heroes developers make more content that is accessible to more players, especially if they consistently play the game. Players ought to be rewarded for the time that they invest rather than the money. Players of this game should be able to work towards heroes/rewards that they want to no matter how much money they have. I understand that in-app purchases are necessary to continue to make engaging content, and I myself have spent exorbitant amounts on this game, but there must be some moderation from the developers. ✓ Very boring and massive p2wI play a lot of these type of games anything from ‘sw’ to ‘coc’ etc etc and there are some nice elements to this. Played this for a month. Pros:- •easy game and very little to manage so pop on for 5 minutes a day do you thing disappear. •yes it is p2w like most games but you can just have fun just slowly slowly slowly levelling and get cool looking characters. Cons:- •unfortunately all of the above so little to do, and don’t bother competing with strangers as they will have money to overtake you in seconds. ✓ Pretty fun, but...Overall, this game is a lot of fun. You summon and fuse monsters and use them to fight other monsters in multiple different gaming modes. There’s lots of reasonable cash offers but it’s not impossible to play the game without spending. There’s a catch though. The game is extremely buggy/patchy and has a tendency to crash without warning. I would say if I played the game for an hour, the app might crash 4-6 times during that hour. In addition, I have experienced 4 separate times where the pages get stuck in an infinite loading loop, which forces me to close the app out and log in again. I’ve been playing for a few days, maybe 2 or 3 days, so these numbers are outrageous. Luckily, it is more of an annoyance than a hindering of game play. However, the crashes and bugs are the sole reason why I marked this game down to 3-stars. These issues need to be resolved quickly. ✓ 1 and a half years f2pI spent about 18months playing this game and I don’t normally spend money on mobile games so I decided to be f2p. At first I had a decent amount of fun and like all games progression is fast at first then slows down. As long as you save prophet orbs or heroic summons for their events you can make a lot of progress. I managed to get 4 E5s including Belrain (Light) and Aspen (Dark) which are the hardest factions to obtain. But overall the devs are greedy and if you don’t spend money you will never be able to compete in pvp with people who pump $300 every month into this game. And even if you start to come close they release a new op hero who dominates and you will fall behind again. So if you don’t mind being behind other whales in your server and just focus on pve it’s a pretty fun game and you can make friends within your guild. But if you like competing with the top of the top but aren’t willing to spend thousands of dollars, then maybe look for another game..Version: 1.33.1

I do what I can in game, do the dailies etc etc. And my team is no where near epic or elite and I know that is because I don’t pay to play. They constantly have events that you need special items for and if you want the good stuff your going to pay. Example Thanksgiving event you needed “pie” ten pieces to be exact, and the only way to get them was to pay one hundred dollars (USD) to get them. On to customer no help support. I have a toon stuck in pvp combat and I can’t get it out. I looked it up on the help/faq followed the directions to remove didn’t help. So I emailed customer service finally after bulldozing my way through their poorly written emails(just because someone is bilingual doesn’t mean they can write in their second language, you guys really need Brits and Yanks to handle your English customers.) I tried the customer service solution it didn’t work. I finally just gave up and that toon is still stuck in combat. ✓ Decent but needs workThe recent addition of the Gate of the Void seemed brilliant at first because it was exactly what I’ve been asking for - but then I found out you need an E5 hero to open it, which is next to impossible if you’re a free to play player. Most good things in this game seem to be behind a pay wall as well, as I keep getting 5 Star Hero shards but seem to only be able to get 1 of 10 heroes that it cycles between! Dantalian, Queen, Margaret, Iceblink, Miki, Fat Mu, Aidan, Baade and Blecker are always the ones I pull, never anyone else! If it wasn’t for the AWFUL RNG and the difficulty of getting rewards I actually want this game would be given 5 stars as I love everything else about it but these issues really need fixed! ✓ Surprised it has such a high rating.Let me start off by saying the game is fun and entertaining and there are no adds (which is rare for games these days) HOWEVER: After a decent amount of hours on this game (I reached level 66) I could really tell that there are many features in this game to push you into purchasing packs. And wow, they are expensive. You COULD play this game for free, or maybe a few dollars here and there, but it is HEAVILY pay to win and you will be at the bottom of the totem pole for YEARS. There is also a feature in the game (The Wishing Fountain) which is basically gambling (like roulette) except for one thing: Instead of trying your luck, the game tries to hide the fact that it’s designed for you to LOSE. There is no game of chance. It is clearly guided to give you the notion you “could” get a good item... but you won’t. 200+ spins and I’ve gotten nothing but materials. That’s just to name one thing that the game does to give the player a sense of chance but don’t let it fool you, the only chance the game gives you is the chance for you to spend a whole lot of money on it..Version: 1.22.1

✓ Waste of timeThe game is good and can be fun, but micro transaction is forced for you to make a good team and they’re all insanely priced it’s a scam. There’s no good constant gameplay and you’re always waiting to progress so even after playing for months like me with a 200k+ rating team you’re left bored and waiting to upgrade for a LONG time as good characters are hard to get if you don’t want to spend £100 - which is how much one of the packs costs. Even the ingame store which lets you buy stuff with in game currency has a 24hr cool down so there’s no way to progress fast (which I can understand because it keeps people playing but it’s SO SLOW). ✓ Doesn’t Live Up To NameThe name of the game is “Idle Hero's” and one of the key concepts is that you can leave the game and let the heros level themselves up. However, after about 8 hours of being out of the game, there is no further leveling up, which means you may have enough time to go to bed and get up in the morning without any loss in benefits, you still have to play the game regularly in order to advance. Another disappointment is after round 15 in a battle is that you automatically lose if you haven’t killed other team yet. This means if your playing style involves using healers to survive tough fights, you’re going to be unfairly penalized over a player who’s style is to use high damage dealers (like mages) in very easy fights. Also if you have your eye on a good deal in the marketplace you may lose it due to the app “refreshing” it when it shouldn’t. In my case, I was saving up 600 crystals for 1,000 hero promotion stones, which is a deal that doesn’t come around often before the app refreshed when it shouldn’t have. So overall, the game has some nice graphics and an interesting concept, but the developers aren’t doing it right and are apathetic towards those who object in my opinion..Version: 1.9.0
✓ Good game, but falters late.From levels 0-70, the game keeps you coming back. The monsters you fight are challenging and you can do much to improve you ability to defeat them. However, late game in the 80+ area, you start capping out your champions levels and you need a HEAVY RNG mechanics to advance in any way. This is what is faltering. I haven’t improved my gear (because I’ve stopped getting any) and my roster has 3-star champs waiting to be upgraded because 5-star champs are so, so rare. Basically all there is to do at this point is log in and get the exp for your level, so you can conquer areas to get...more exp. Mind you, this doesn’t actually advance your champions, they are reliant on an entirely different mechanic to advance and you can reach that without much effort because you don’t get new champs or champs you want, so there is nothing left to spend your resources on. I’ve been stuck in grind hell for a few weeks now and I’m quickly losing interest..Version: 1.20.0

I am over level 100 my main team sits at over 1m power level and I wish I knew the things about this game that I do know now before I started because I just would not have started honestly. ✓ Money grabber and lousy supportFirstly, this is a great game, IF you’re willing to pay. Once you have reached to a certain level, this becomes a grinding game: you log in daily to complete requests and a few more for the special events within the allowance of auto-rewards the game gives to you. This can all be done within 1/2 hr per 24hr circle if you don’t pay. To enjoy it beyond that, you have to pay, pay and pay some more! I don’t have a problem with this; to each its own, I’d say. However, what really upsets me about this game is its lousy, or practically non-existent support. I had not been able to see new messages within the Guild for nearly 2 months, and the GM has been absolutely useless to do anything about it! Further more, when my email address was hacked, the GM refused to do anything either! Imagine, the game you loved, is being held hostage by hackers and there’s nothing the GM can do, not even changing it to a new email address! This would be disastrous for anyone who loved and spent a lot of time on this game, but even more so for those who would have spent money on this. ✓ Too many things gated by cashMany things are fine; combat is pretty well balanced and things that can be earned are at an acceptable pace, though getting slower over time. For things like events and such, however, you’re almost guaranteed to not meet their goals reliably unless you drop cash; one example is the Miki & Mirage Travel event from May 2019 where they use rice balls to obtain the goods and the only free source of rice balls is a coinciding summon event (either Prophet Summon or Heroic Miracle) where the goals are near impossible to meet unless you pay for the necessary things or happen to have them stocked up over time (Prophet Orbs don’t come cheap!). It’s not reasonable to complete a Heroic Summon or especially Prophet Orb-based event when the main sources of those are either cash or large amounts of gems/semi-premium currency. Combat level progression is ok but the non-campaign battle areas often have cheap matchups; the tower, for example, has six “heal while attacking” enemy layouts far too often. PVP is ok until you reach the territory of always only matching with high-level paying players, the ones who grind for months on end, or the cheaters..Version: 1.22.0

✓ Good game until needing support.The game is a good pass time and fun for the most part until you run into a system issue. I spent two weeks in communication with their support to which they said there was nothing they can do. They consistently blamed Apple and to contact Apple to be able to fix the issue which I had done but they said it the developer responsibility..... For a app that is its own developer, more effort should be put in to support the consumer that’s paying to play the game. ✓ Appalling customer serviceI loved the game, it’s a great twist on idle RPGs and I had several months of trouble free gaming. However when I did have a problem the customer support was non-existent. They dismissed my problem despite the evidence of screenshots I sent them to show what was wrong. Now I’m sure if I was a whale and was regularly spending thousands the result might have been different, but hey that’s just the pessimist in me talking. It’s a shame they aren’t a bit more professional and look after their customers better. They could take a lesson or two from some of the devs that actually care about their customer base. ✓ Play to win schemeI’m gonna give an honest review of how this game started for me. In the beginning, I thought it was great, I felt gameplay was fair and spending actual money was not necessary, but this week this whole opinion changed for me. There are 5 star heroes which are strong and almost impossible to obtain by regular means. I have summoned over 300 heroes, in hopes of getting a 5 star, and I have only gotten 2. ✓ Fair review of the game - AvoidGames fairly good and addictive when you start and there’s loads to do, as you progress about a month into the game it gets incredibly boring and very little to do, you really start to see the game for what it is. Garuda has completely nullified the power rating system. I’ve played for almost a year and have a team strength of 1.3mil. I just played a team, strength 697k and lost. Why have a character/team strength rating if you’re just going to ignore it? Celestial Island, Adventure, FORCES players to use gems to keep the mission going. Besides pitting pay-to-win rich players against each other, this is the first feature I’ve felt was not in the best interest of the player. Overall, a great game experience, but these two things need to be addressed. Update, there truly MUST be directions on how to proceed beyond certain points. ✓ Don’t waste your timeThis game has no combat system, you click fight and your heroes will fight and you have no control over what they do. The reason i point this out is because your progression is directly correlated to how much you pay and not how you play. Its a great game if your willing to invest $200+. ✓ I don’t get the drawThis game is racist with no proud black characters. The chat does not let you type out certain geographic areas and countries like China, Middle East, etc. Also support is a joke and only sends canned messages. If you chat in world chat about anything critical about the game you get attacked from everyone which presupposes chat is filled with paid players or people closely associated with the company. Aside from all this, the actual gameplay is nerfed and annoyingly bad. Good heroes never come from prophet tree or summoning. Arena is excruciatingly slow. Packages (I don’t spend anything) are very expensive for what you get. Guild activities are complex and make it not worth even trying to compete in guild war. You have to pay gems you earn to fight in arena (which is fine but you only get like 3 tokens to fight a day and most higher arena fights cost as much). Gems are easy to earn, but they spend very very quickly. There is an in game icon that tries to be helpful but is missing information on all critical aspects of game (such as how to get special contest gems that allow you to trade out for better heroes)...I could go on and on but I’ve given it too much attention already. ✓ Please do not waste your time on thisThis game is amazing in its own right with the art and characters in my opinion being very nice and pleasing but thats it. The game has so little content for how long it's been out and they only add events that are accessible for players who either spend a large amount of money and I am talking one event will cost you a couple hundred maybe even thousand depending on the event or people who have been with the game since it first came out. Now when you first play the game you do progress very and I mean very fast you immediately get a 5 star hero and you get a ton of loot and are able to max this hero out literally making it so you hit a massive pay wall after about a day or maybe longer depending on the Herod you get. One massive issue is the fact you have to wait a couple weeks to even months to actually progress in this game at all. The game is a massive money grab with devs that do not care and the community or money paying idiots defend it to their hearts content. ✓ Good game but extremely difficult to progressI have been playing this game for about 2 years now and I like playing it. The main reason why I play it is because I collect new characters and max them out. It took me about a year and a half to max out 1 character then I went on a short roll where I was able to actually make some progress. But then you increased the stuff you can do to max a character which I can complain because then you can make them stronger. The problem is that You can’t progress in this game this is one of the hardest games I’ve ever played in terms of progression. ✓ Few small faultsIt’s an awesome game but there are things to fix. 1) in your guild chat it doesn’t say if someone left, or joined or became an official. It would much easier to know what’s going on if it said these things. 2) in the world chat you can only speak once every 20-30 seconds which I find is a bit long. Maybe 10-15 would make more sense and make it easier to talk to people without seeming rude or like you’ve left the chat. 3) it’s a bit confusing fusing heroes, in fact not many people in the server know how to! ✓ Grind heavyPros: The game itself has good graphics and smooth animations with a wide variety of different battles and activities. You have a campaign mode, daily quests to do, dungeon challenges, online battles, guilds to join etc. great variety hence you won’t get bored I like that 👍👍 Cons: The biggest downside to Idle heroes is the LOOOOOOONG and tedious task of upgrading your heroes (without having to pay that is) Yes the game is free but without paying for gems it is near impossible to obtain high level heroes...Unlike their ads in which apparently geting top teir heroes is sooo easy... (Idle Heroes I like you but you don’t have to hop on the false advertisement train!! 😡) In fact you can’t even progress after a certain point if your heroes are not at a high enough level.... that suuuuucks!! 😓😡😢 Overall a good time waster game if you like grinding for gems, watching heroes use their special abilities and just like the achievement of collecting heroes for your collection. ✓ This one thing ruined the gameSo I’ve had this app for well over a year now. I loved the heroes available and the daily tasks and just the general consensus of the game. However I have had to remove several stars for this game due to one small thing. The game doesn’t save your data! I am a VIP 7 and when reorganising my phone I accidentally deleted the app. I thought I would re-download the game and everything would be fine. WRONG! Please please please make sure that you double check everything because if you accidentally delete the app all your progress is lost. I have sent several emails to the company over the past three weeks and I am unsure if it’s because Corona has inhibited employee help but I have had no response in helping my account. I have now had to delete the app as a whole because I do not have the time or money to start from scratch all over again. ✓ Great game, terrible customer serviceHave been playing for over 6 months, on 2 different servers- I have/had VIP 11 & VIP 7 account. I was having trouble logging into my account- it would time out on synchronization screen. Eventually it would load. New event dropped, and now am unable to load the game at all. Customer service can not/will not help me. They say it’s on my end- yet I can load husbands account on my device just fine, mine will not load. I have tried literally everything that I can possibly do on my end. I would suggest not spending a penny on the game- since you could lose your account with no warning, and customer service cannot communicate effectively enough to fix issues. ✓ I want to enjoy this game.I want to enjoy this game, but it’s become too difficult. It’s the epitome of a “Pay2Win” game. I’ll admit that I did drop about $10 in to this game, but it didn’t help in the slightest. The difficulty of fights is very inconsistent, you may do several battles and clear them within 3 rounds, but then you hit a wall and it spends a week of accumulating gold and spirit to upgrade your heroes to a point where the fight becomes even remotely possible.... OR YOU CAN JUST SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY AND BUY GEMS! ...to maybe get you through one fortress. Then you hit the wall again. Which is really disappointing, quite honestly.
