✓ Developers! Make more like this!There just aren’t enough games out there like this - turn based, board RPG. There’s the somewhat retro Talisman and the clunky-buggy-but-fun The Otherside but easily the best of these is the magnificent Armello. I first encountered this on the XBox but it had been a welcome addition to my iPad as I can now do local multiplayer with other iOS users in the house. Although it’s basically a freemium model app the extra characters and features are not stupid money. Budget about 15 bucks and you’ll have most of what you need by way of DLC sets and whatnot. My only gripe (that didn’t cost a star on this review as I hope it can be resolved easily) is that the whole board goes blurry and cloudy if you zoom out too far but if you play while zoomed in it creates a sea-sick inducing lurch as the camera follows gameplay. I’d probably like to see some extra win methods and larger board options added as well, oh, and perhaps more terrain varieties with their own characteristics. This doesn’t suggest the game is lacking as it is superb as it is but you’d certainly get my dollars for DLC of that calibre. Keep going!.Version: v1.10

✓ My favorite mobile game and one of my favorite games periodThis game is so well put together, it shows how much effort the developers put in and it’s also super addictive! No two games are the same, not even close! It’s such a nice digital board game that incorporates a bunch of things that wouldn’t be possible for regular board games like invisibility! I know I’m making it sound like there’s nothing wrong with it but there is one thing that could be better, even if you don’t have a bounty and another hero does (this only applies to single player) the other computers will almost always target you even if you never attacked them. But even so that’s a super small nit pick for this absolutely phenomenal game!!! Great job League Of Geeks can’t wait for the rest of the rivals to come out and I can’t wait for even more characters to be added!!! ✓ Great game.A solid game that I’ve played on pc for a year and glad to see come to iPad. My only complaint is I’ve won prestige victory twice with Amber however every time I claim the challenge reward I always get an error and can not claim the ring or amulet. Fun game but that error makes me feel like my efforts are in vain..Version: v1.8
✓ Great, but just buy the PC version I beg of youThe mobile game has some of the basic features that the pc version has, however it doesn’t get updated quite as often. ( The last time this app was updated was 2 years ago! ) I just recently bought the pc version on steam and it was an amazing and more smoother experience. ( It’s $20 on steam and $10 for each expansion pack for new characters but occasionally it goes on sale for $8 for the base game and 50% off the dlc. ) The developers spent a lot of time and dedication on such a beautiful game, so I would recommend buying the game on steam if you would want to get a full experience and to support the devs. Overall, I don’t think this can be too bad of a mobile game..Version: v1.10
✓ Fantastic game but...Really really great game with lovely detail and easy to follow stories. Love the depth and tactical elements of the game. However there a couple of technical issues, as I’ve found I am unable to complete some of the challenges even though I’ve done them? It just doesn’t register and so I can’t continue getting gold. It also is crashing frequently towards the end of public multiplayer games, which, after 45 minutes in a game is quite frustrating! Solid apart from that though, just wondering when the dragon clan is going to come to mobile??.Version: v1.10
✓ Unplayable fix your game & i would like a responseEvery time I log in I have to redo the entire tutorial all over. Games are unplayable to get to complete the game it says connection lost. it’s not anything on my end it’s completely on the game maker. It would be five stars if they would fix the game but seems the refuse to do so. Don’t waste your money on a game that legitimately doesn’t not work. So disheartened that they don’t want to fix it. ✓ A very complex but great game!Corruption spills through the land of Armello, the once Nobel king slowly dying as the rot spreads through his veins Four heroes from the might clans compete for the throne, whether through sheer might, a sly trickery and treachery or through incantations of the arcane arts. Armello takes quite a while to get to grips with but once your there no two games are the same, strategically speaking, opening up more options. Armello is a some what difficult game to like, due to its many quirks and designs, while they all have there purpose and help make Armello a more tactical and challenging game, they sometimes annoy the player, one such example is the vision ( mentioned earlier in some else’s review) , if you want to see what you are doing and zoom out , the map is covered in clouds obstructing the view. The player needs to ‘navigate’ around a zoomed in map forcing you to pay attention. I have spent many hours on Armello and I love the game, tedious as it may be I will continue to play it, even though new content is substantial later on App Store, and I would definitely recommend giving it a good try..Version: v1.9

✓ Old school given new lifeLove board games especially RPG type ones like this. Overall very well crafted, however the multiplayer function could use more work. Can’t easily add players as friends and can’t open a chat dialog in game, also no lobby chat when waiting for a multiplayer game to launch. ✓ Doesn’t crash on me 😂I read a review saying the game crashes but on mine it’s totally fine. If you like turn based strategy games and want one on your phone I’d recommend this game for sure. I must admit it’s a bit hard to understand at first, and the prologue is boring asf. But once you get into the game it’s actually so addicting. There’s also a grindy sorta element to it and every game you play you receive a chest towards new die. It rewards gameplay rather than spending your own money yet that’s an option if you want. Would say it’s quite the enjoyable game and would love to see more people playing it 😁 10/10.Version: v1.9
✓ Well polished gameThe game is well thought and for a game with chance it actually feels fair. Offline isn’t available sadly but that is far outweighed by the enjoyment level of the game. The different casts create a character for every play style with no clear op characters. The only thing that would maybe improve is different map skins.Version: v1.10
✓ A fine game. Hope you have the time to play it.Armello is a game that I never knew I wanted: a classic tabletop game with a board and dice on my phone. It’s random, almost chaotic at times, and I couldn’t enjoy the thrill more. If you care about this sort of thing, which I definitely do, you can plunge into the story behind the game and characters through novellas that League of Geeks releases, which add that lore satisfaction which isn’t necessary but assuredly appreciated. And just like actual board games, Armello takes a while to finish. One game, if played seriously, can stretch for twenty minutes to half an hour, which is relatively short by board games standards but absurdly long for most mobile games, at least the ones I play. You’ll also want to have your phone charged or charging while playing, as this game goes through battery life like Cookie Monster through chocolate chip cookies. And if you’re playing online and someone quits, I’m so sorry you have to face the bloodthirsty, unrelenting abomination that takes their place. But overall, Armello is the kind of fun from a different time and one rarely seen in mobile games, and that’s a wonderful thing..Version: v1.8
✓ Great gameThe game itself is good and I like how you can get all the characters and whatnot whiteout using real money, but I don’t like how you can only get 3 rewards for completing matches everyday. That limits the games so much and kinda takes away from the game in the sense that you can’t play many characters at the beginning. Also I’m running into the problem if my quests not completing properly. I’ve already won by rot twice but it won’t give me the challenge rewards and I can’t get the harmonize trinket because the quest disappeared. It said I unlocked it but I don’t get the harmonize trinket or the rewards..Version: v1.10

This game could also do with a slightly better board overview and also about the cost of characters it is way to much gold it takes forever and the missions a lot of the time don’t count as done even if I’ve done them. ✓ I love this game!I’m a huge fan of tabletop games! And when I found this one on PSN, I was ecstatic! Then I found out it was coming to mobile, and I couldn’t be more excited! This is such a fun and innovative game. I can’t put it down. I’m currently writing this review after being on a 6 game win streak (half of which were rot victories.) There are only a couple of minor bugs, but nothing too game breaking. I had one where someone DC’d right before a fight and nothing loaded after that. ✓ Compatibility???So I saw this game on the App Store and instantly fell in love with the graphics and gameplay. I installed it and it went to the loading screen. After that, it brought me to a thing that said something like “this game does not work on your device”. I play on an iPad Air and it says on the bottom that it “works on this iPad”, but it doesn’t work. I started playing on another device and it was an amazing game experience. ✓ FantasticI’ve played this game quite a bit now, and I love it. It’s balanced, well animated, and super fun! My only small suggestion would be to add a small amount of gems to the spoils of winning a match so playing enough will eventually result in the ability to buy a high level character without paying for it. I think the developers would like this since playing enough to get the gems would probably mean the player would like the game enough to want to spend money on it. Just a suggestion. Overall amazing game! Edit: I also recently had a problem with the war chest, and when I contacted the tech support team they released an update to solve the problem within the week. ✓ Best Digital Board Game AroundI’ve played over 800 hours of Armello on desktop, and am thrilled to dive into it once again on the tablet. Armello sports balanced, intuitive and complex game and thematic design, gorgeous archetypal characters that complement game mechanics and various play styles, immersive and constantly evolving play (LoG has continued to roll out new content and improve this game for years), smooth gameplay, and all around good and stimulating fun. Big shoutout to playable character designs that feature strong competent women not being even remotely sexualized (a depressingly rare sight in games) and visually stunning digital painting and animation on all the cards and jewelry items. My only real complaint with the mobile version is that the matchmaking system seems a bit unstable, but I’m sure the LoG is working on improving it as I type this review. This game has a slight learning curve, but with a little bit of investment you’ll be mastering and improving your play more and more with each game. The love, passion and care this game studio has put into Armello shines through with every single aspect of the game, and I hope it grabs you as much as it has me. And who knows, maybe we’ll see one another in a match soon! I look forward to seeing what you’ve got :).Version: v1.10

✓ Favourite iPhone Game Since Chain ChronicleAbsolutely love this game and all the genres it blends. I just wish that it was available on some slightly older devices so I could use the bigger screen of my iPad. They don’t force microtransactions down your throat and only charge for stuff that you’d see worthwhile if you were to actually invest time into the game. Good for short bursts or longer sessions. ✓ A fun and interesting gameI have not played this game long but I am thoroughly enjoying it the different blend of Strategic elements go nicely together, bringing a nice range of tactical choices. The combat can feel a little random at times as the basis of it is dice rolls which means even if you are vastly superior to another character victory is stilled not assured, which can make for some exciting or frustrating battles. There is just one small issue in that every time I try to play offline the game crashes which is annoying as I downloaded it to play on my tea breaks at work other than that fantastic effort..Version: v1.9

✓ Fun Board GameGreat game overall, I'd love to see more added into it as well as some quality of life improvements. A few small complaints I have is that firstly, you can't use bought characters in a single player game which just seems silly to me. Secondly, the 15 second time limit you get to make a move in multiplayer does seem a little bit too short, especially for a new player who has to read what the cards do before I play them. Personally I'd recommend adding at least 5 or 10 more seconds. The UI is a little fidgety and awkward, I'm not sure what exactly can be done to fix it but it definitely can be improved. Lastly is the camera, theres a lack of control for it and zooming out is something you can't do, which is very hindering, especially to cards that require more visibility to the board in order to make the best possible decision..Version: v1.6
✓ Enjoyable and polishedI rally like the idea of this and the art is lovely. I am am enjoying it but have a few requests. Firstly, a prestige victory is a little unsatisfiying. It may be because I have so far only been able to play against the AI. As someone else said, the fog when you zoom out is annoying and I would prefer settlements to be marked by player number instead of clan, as in a game with 3 wolf clan players it is hard to tell who owns which settlement. ✓ Excellent game, but...This game is probably one of the best free board games out on the market. It’s got a good blend between luck and strategy, and is pretty fun to just sit down and play. However, this game burns your phone like no tomorrow. Just playing a couple of games has my phone practically burning up, despite battery saver modes both in the phone and in the game (for reference, it’s an IPhone 7 and about a year old). Another thing that would push this game into greatness would just be a new feature that changed up the entire game. I must say this is a very fun game to play graphics are good gameplay is strategic (you can almost always start a grudge with players by only targeting them in multiplayer which makes it interesting). ✓ More Prestige Than RotAn iOS port of this game is a no brainier. I was initially concerned that this game was free to play, but happily the microtransactions are confined to cosmetic items. That being said, I would happily pay £4 to £5 for this game to be devoid of currencies or purchases or unlockables. Armello does a really good job of emulating the few of a board game rather than a turn based strategy. It’s accessible and attractive, despite being a drain on battery power. For some reason, however, zooming the camera all the way out obscures your overview of the board. It’s a shame to make a game look this good, then deny your players the chance to take it all in at once. Regardless, Armello is an easy title to recommend..Version: v1.7

✓ Fun short board game on my phoneArmello is a fun little turn based strategy board game conveniently located on my phone. Though there has been a “pay to unlock content” feature installed, you can play the game for free without instantly losing against players who have chosen to spend money. The gameplay is fun, there are lots of methods to win, and the balance seems to be there in most cases. I have encountered a couple of small issues that prevent me from giving it 5 stars. The first is a general issue that there doesn’t seem to be a wide community of players using the play online function. Thankfully you can still play by yourself with generated AI opponents, but they will never give you as good a competition as real players. The lack of setting AI difficulty means that once you are proficient at the game, you shouldn’t ever lose to the AI again. I have waited for over 2 hours for the game to fill a 4 person lobby, which to me means there just aren’t a lot of people playing. Secondly, there are challenges you can attempt to complete to unlock content, and in game currency to unlock more content. The third column of challenges are very specific and in my opinion can be quite difficult. For instance one of them is “recruit a follower you have already lost once before this game”. My problem with that column is that I have achieved some of the conditions multiple times in my single player games, and the rewards are still locked. I can only imagine this is a glitch of some kind, but it is frustrating when I “play an entire game without killing a hero” and I don’t get the reward for it after the game is done. All in all, I have recommended Armello to my friends, and I hope that I can start using the private lobby multiplayer to just play with them instead of waiting for the public lobby and low player base! ✓ Seems great, however still does not work with iPhone 6This seems like one of the most inventive games on the market, and from what little I’ve played very fun as well. However, after playing the first time, when I tried to open the app again it was stuck on the loading screen. Since I have tried redownloading the game multiple times to no avail. So I was very excited when I saw the recent update included a possible fix for the issue on the iPhone 6. However after downloading the game still gets stuck on the loading screen. ✓ Finally, a game that’s not garbage megapixel game!Finally, someone that isn’t spitting out garbage games that make you want an idiot Atari machine. Every game on the AppStore these days is either 1 megapixel or some stupid building game. I just played it for the first time today and I was totally immersed! ✓ Grinding isn’t worth muchThis game is by far one of the best games I have found in the App Store. I have played it for so many hours, mucking around with the settings in custom games and forcing upon my friends to try and take victory outside prestige. But one thing that has bugged me is the lack of use for the daily chests that come. I mean they are a great idea especially with the transmogrification ability but I mean. It all stops at the oak dice. Maybe make the oak dice transmogrify into one of the dice you have to pay for? I’m not sure but I feel like that mechanic is limited quickly. Besides that, the games is amazing, with novella and so many quirky characters. I do wish that maybe with enough funding behind you guys will make a cinematic based off at least the main characters. ✓ One of the coolest games EVERThis game is so cool. The characters are unique and exciting, the game is engaging, and the graphics are lovely. One of the coolest parts is that you can get these little novellas about some of the characters. It’s a whole new world and the stories tell you how things came to be. Hopefully we’ll get more novellas for some other characters like Zosha and River! There are a lot of characters to choose from and they’re all so cool, I can’t wait to see what new ones they come up with (if they decide to develop more). I know that for some gaming consoles they have a dragon clan as well and when I tell you I’ve seriously considered purchasing a PS4 just so I could play with the new characters... ✓ Great game but lots of bugsI really really enjoy this game. I play it with my friends and I’ve read the novellas and I just have a lot of fun with it in general. There are just so many bugs though which is really annoying and cheats me out of rewards. The main one I’m experiencing is not being able to do ANY achievements. It says I’ve done ones I haven’t and I can’t access rings or anything on some characters. I won’t even allow me to complete the achievements and claim any rewards which is troubling to me since I’m trying to get a couple characters. Other bugs I’ve experience is playing a multiplayer game and having it freeze, although still allowing the players to use the chat. The game also crashes when I don’t have access to WiFi. I can’t even open the app without it crashing, even though single player does not require WiFi..Version: v1.8

The only problem I have encountered is when I try to play the game in airplane mode (it does chew through my battery pretty quickly). ✓ Armello on the go! (Edit, no more updates!)Just had an email update saying no more patches for mobile version. Thats a real shame. I would have hoped they could bring parity with console seeing as phones are so powerful now. Been playing Armello since I backed the kickstarter and recently was invited to try the iOS beta. TLDR Pros:- Its Armello! Its free to play with no need to spend money! Cons:- No loot sharing between PC and mobile (yet). Will drain your battery and free time! I had been looking forward to the iOS version for a while but was surprised to see the game is free to play. This made me a bit worried as I have seen good games die from micro transactions. Thankfully its the same old Armello and they have brought the free daily chest to the PC which was a nice touch. However one glitch I encountered since the last update is that any time I don’t have Wifi and I try to play the game, it goes to the load screen then boots me to the home screen but if I do have Wifi and launch the game, it’ll load and nothing goes wrong (and I did a test where I loaded it while connected to Wifi then disabled Wifi, then I can play it no problem unless I close the program) can you guys fix this glitch? ✓ Perfect On the Go GameI have been playing Armello for a few years on the PS4, it is perfectly suited for iOS and on the go gaming. It is an outstanding digital board game that is easy to pick up and hard to master. Whether you are playing single player (my predominant choice) or multiplayer, each game feels different and unique. The art direction and world building is wonderful. I usually complain about freemium games, but the main content for free is robust and enjoyable. I don’t mind paying a bit extra for the new characters or DLC packs since there was no upfront cost to try it out. Depending on which race you choose to be depends on your style of gameplay as each race has different skills and abilities. The roll of the dice is how battles are decided, roll a shield and defend and attack, roll a sword to attack and so on, the only thing they do not describe to well is the dice. You can acquire different dice throughout your gameplay but it does not really clarify as to what each dice really does for you in the game. The gameplay is addictive and fun, the graphics are pretty good considering it’s the iPhone, and you actually get rewards for playing against AI players (apps don’t always do that). There can be some lag with the dice rolling (update: there usually has to be a lot of dice for this to happen), but it doesn’t crash the game (update: which is honestly great considering how many apps will crash from the smallest amount of lag). The multiplayer take a minute, but that just may be the lack of people playing multiplayer in my server. Besides this there is a bug in which tabbing out to another app and coming back will stop all sound from the app, but that just requires you closing and reopening the app to fix it. And besides the previously mentioned bugs, the game is a solid one. Update: I saw in the last update that the app developers said that the game can’t run on anything less than a iPhone 6. But I can say for a fact that it runs fine on IPhone 5s..Version: v1.7
✓ An iPhone must play!Well... a bit over exaggerating here for a four star review. I love Armello and I love things on-the-go. When I saw this game on the App Store, It was pretty much impulsive of me to download it. I remember the PC version of the game being shockingly beautiful, despite me owning a computer that runs it at 20 and below. The basic story was very engaging from the start, and the gameplay was relatively easy to understand, albeit challenging to master. I wanted to invest my time and money to what this game had to offer in terms of DLC characters, dice and cosmetics The mobile version is a whole new can of cola, however. You get a wickedly smooth frame rate, 60 FPS I assume can be the minimum, and even more glorious aesthetic detail. Almost as if you’re actually looking down on a tiny world and that world happens to have creatures in literal and political war with each other..Version: v1.7
✓ Great game, just has some issues with private roomsI got this game after a friend of mine kept telling me to get it, and I did and I enjoy it. But only issue that I see is the issue with the multiplayer private room connection. My friend has a Samsung and I have an Apple, all up to date and stuff, but we can’t for whatever reason connect to the same room. It keeps saying how there’s no connection or whatever, but we’re both connected to wifi and I have played the same game on the same server with people who have different types of phones. ✓ Mechanically amazing technical trash-fireNormally, a game with this many technical issues gets three stars, maximum, normally two. However, Armello is a great game with reasonable monetization and I’ve had lots of fun with it, so I’ll make an exception. ✓ A Board Game with DepthThis is one of the better board games I've seen for IOS! It handles smoothly and the possibilities are quite endless! I've introduced it to many of my friends! A few points of feedback; -there should be a full out zoom for the camera, where I can see everything (without the clouds). -on that note, their should be an option for the camera (when it's not your turn) to stay stable and only move when you move it. It can be quite annoying when you want to look at your next possible moves before your turn but the camera keeps pulling you back to something else. -more info in your guide! Particularly on things like Wit and Spirit, etc.. I believe their use is described in the tutorial, but the tutorial on its own was so complex that I forgot most but the basics; I had to look up what Wits did on the Wikia article for the game. -the chests should feel more rewarding than just dice, i don't know. I don't care much for the dice. I think most of the problems stated from myself and others can be easily fixed. Takes strategy & practice, planning moves and card-plays ahead feels chess-like, while battles and perils are dice based and can be unpredictable & risky (the underdog sometimes wins the battle) Some people complain about watching NPCs (guards and banes) taking their turns, but there is an option to speed up that process if you’re in a hurry. Immersive visuals and fairly balanced gameplay. Playing with each faction feels totally different, but none is OP. The only urge that there is to purchase content within the game comes from wanting to play again and again with new personalities & added depth, and to reward the brilliant developers behind this unique game, not because there is any pay-to-win slant or nagging from the app. Truly generous to have all this content for free on the iPad ... this base game is $20 on PC and worth every penny..Version: v1.8

✓ Fun game, minor issuesReally enjoying this game so far--the worldbuilding, the game mechanics, the art, the music; all great. Was a little miffed iTunes said my iPad could play it only to download it and find out that wasn't the case, so i'm playing on my phone. Don't mind the 'loot crate' aspect of the iOS version of the game per se, but i do mind that i've completed multiple challenges only to have the associated loot not unlock. I've also encountered a few in-game issues: rot battles not always happening when they should (unless i've misunderstood what the in-game guide says), and cards sometimes having a slightly different effect from what the text says the cards do (sometimes to my advantage, sometimes not). I don't know if these are 'bugs' or if there just needs to be some clarification of in-game text. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, so it didn't factor into my review. I'm hoping i'll be able to play against friends who have the game on Steam/Switch/etc., as opposed to only other iOS players..Version: v1.10

✓ By far the best,but...This is by far the best (in my mind) board game app that I have played. I love strategy and this game offers up a lot in how you can go about it. My only real complaint is a major part of the game is playing cards when it’s not your turn. I just feel like this could be accomplished better when you zoom out so you can get a better sense of the tiles around the hero’s but the fog. It almost is to much you can’t even see anything really and I get it might be part of the core design to influence gameplay, but on mobile it’s just to small of a screen to do that to. Also sometimes the character things that pop up when another hero uses a card or completes an action blocks the last quest reward out of the three when you have the option to pick on while another character is playing.Version: v1.8

There aren’t obtrusive ads popping nag up every ten seconds trying to get your money, there’s no waiting three hours to build something but you could rush it for ‘x’ amount of cash. It’s just a game. A well thought out, very involved and crazy game. I will say the only draw back is starting. Even though the tutorial gives you a great deal of help, there’s just no real getting the hang of it until you okay it a time or ten. I feel like I get a lot of the same quests in each of the games when I play as Sana so I think more quests should be added. ✓ Great game overallAs the title suggests I find this to be a great game overall, I enjoy that there are multiple ways to play and win so you can find one that suits you best. The only issue I’ve ran into so far is that the daily free item and skeeve’s shop won’t open for me, they just spin a loading icon forever (I left the game open for 20 minutes while I did other things and still no luck). Great tutorial/prologue that makes it feel very RPG-like, and is a gentle ease into its many complexities. ✓ A bit of a problemArmello is a wonderful beautifully made game but however I have a problem Before Armello was released worldwide I had the soft-launched edition in which I could play it both online and offline but however this doesn’t seem like the case as whenever I turn off my Wifi to test it out, the game would be stuck in the same loading screen even after turning it on hoping for the login feature to come about, I really do wish they will fix this one small issue as it’s a bit inconvenient to delete and download the game in order to play on it online instead of having the single player option of playing it offline. This is also inconvenient due to the addition of the two new Novellas that I would love to read offline whenever I’m in a place with no Wifi and will read a nice canonical story about Armello. ✓ Wonderful game mechanicsLove the gameplay and the overall presentation. I was a big fan of the Redwall books by Brian Jacques when I was a kid so the anthropomorphic animals are spot on! Not sure how I feel about the free-to-play model. ✓ A leveling system?Really good role-playing game. Just downloaded this yesterday and I’ve been up all night playing. Custom game is really fun; setting the timers on the longest and making everything as difficult as possible. While playing, I realised that as you progress through the game, the main source for cards are through achievements and dungeons. I may need to play more, but for when the game draws on, maybe add a levelling system? Each level might give you a card or additional base stats. I realised that living longer is mostly beneficial to the person with a lot of prestige, they can just wait it out or run from everyone. ✓ Compatibility ProblemFirstly this is an amazing game, provides great strategy along with great artwork. Many games I get bored with pretty quickly but not this game, I recommend this game to everyone who enjoys a relatively quick strategy game. One problem though, after a recent update I’ve been unable to play as a message pops up saying my iPad Air isn’t supported. I checked the compatibility and that’s fine but I couldn’t find anywhere it saying what devices are supported. Is compatibility and support the same thing? ✓ Absolutely AMAZING Game!This👏Game👏Is👏AMAZING! It has so much to do! Here are a few words for anyone who’s considering downloading. 1. The gameplay is great! The prologue is charming, not annoying or boring, so I, someone with an extremely low attention span, actually paid attention to it! It teaches you everything you need to know. The actual game is, as it is said, like a board game with RPG elements, which sounds awesome on paper, but when this company executed it? EVEN BETTER! 2. The graphics. Need👏I👏Say👏More. They are beautiful! Realistic enough to create a nice medieval atmosphere, but not to the point if makes me uncomfortable(or destroys my phone). Also, the characters are animals, which on its own was definitely a great decision. 3. The story. You’re told some of it in the prologue, but that’s not my main focus here. The books! I read a lot, and was definitely not expecting books to be included in a mobile game. There entertaining, and a nice escape for when your bored. ✓ I absolutely love this game but there is a bug and a few issuesI love this game and play it with family and friends frequently, however a big part of this game in my opinion is the jewelry you equip. When I go the the jewelry spot in my inventory it is completely empty. Not just empty squares like the empty spaces in other slots, just a empty square. I also feel like there are more items for the rat clan than the others and way to few items for the wolf clan. My one final complaint would be that you can’t do multiplayer without ai (if there is already a way to play without ai please let me know as I haven’t found it yet)..Version: v1.10
✓ Great but slight issueLove how you’ve brought this from Steam and now it’s portable and accessible wherever on my phone. Only slight issue/bug is I’ve found that some of the quests/challenges (the ones in “set 3” on the far right of the screen) aren’t completing and offering reward even though done the requirement. ✓ Happy Quarantine- updatedI’m having fun. It’s a great game. I suggest you play a few games to get acquainted. Don’t delete the game before giving it an honest try. Have not tried multiplayer yet. Update- multiplayer is a lot of fun as well, only it takes forever to get a working queue. If there aren’t 4 players available, then allow for the game to have less after waiting 2 mins or something. ✓ Bug needs fixing? Posting here cause Where else?First I’d like to suggest that you guys make a report bug section in the menu, for obvious reasons -_- also for anyone else reading this. I made a previous review...somewhere..that still has this 4/5 stars with constructive criticism and good feedback The bugs I noticed and currently having are 1 constant glow on challenges, meaning I should have challenge completed and get a reward but it’s constantly on. 2 rings, not all working correctly? I got the ring for the rabbit clan. The last one that gives 10% increase to quests. I just went into a game and increased my chances further by buffing my hero/champion attack by 1. Making it 4 (elyssia I believe the name is) and with the ring it should be 50%. However it was still 40% 3 the challenges, I complete some of them as I see them but I no longer get the reward Just a suggestion from here 4 I think you guys should announce what gets fixed in a list or so. Somewhere. Along with a report bug function, so that at least I don’t have to come here to report it These are all the main pressing issues that I have and noticed..Version: v1.8
✓ A True BoardgameWhen I first found Armello, the enticement of a boardgame on a mobile device (that doesn’t require internet) drawn me in. The second I started playing it, I knew it was going to be a great game. The characters are interesting and unique, the cards are useful and feels good to play, and the various ways to end the game adds variety into this game. The daily gifts are great, and they give you dice and crowns (the ingame currency) that you can purchase things with, including dice, skins, characters, and even DLC!
