✓ The best management game on iPad.I strongly believe this is the best management game on iPad. 1. It features everything from the V1 release of prison architect PC. 2. It runs amazingly smooth, the controls are redefined for touch controls. 3. On my iPad, though it is a high end iPad, 12.9 pro 2018 model. I have yet to see it stutter or drop frames. I have two complaints. 1. It’s definitely a battery drainer, but it keeps the date/time/battery all on screen all the time. So you won’t get any surprise’ low power’ notifications. 2.NO DLC. I can’t hold it against this version, but after paradox’s Aquisitions of PA? We haven’t seen any DLC, Keep in mind, DLC has come to both consoles and PC, but not IPad, I won’t say it spoils the experience, but those who see it in the App Store who came from console/PC, maybe disappointed for that reason. Those who are trying it out for the first time? Stay near a power outlet, your gonna love it once you learn how to build the prison up..Version: 2.0.8
✓ CrashIt was a fun game and I actually enjoyed it but every no and then when it would go to save it would crash and I had to restart from the last save, and in the G.A.B.O.S level I constantly crashes and I can't progess as every time it saves it crashes and doesn't end up saving, I tried getting it so that it would t auto-save but the game crashed randomly anyway.Version: 1.0.4
✓ Plays great with an Apple PencilChances are you’ve heard of Prison Architect considering it’s been release everywhere else. PA Mobile is essentially the pre-expansion PC game before Double Eleven developed the PA Console - So if you were hoping for the expansion packs on the Post-Paradox Interactive PC and Console editions have, it’s strictly vanilla with no Escape or Warden modes. Otherwise, it’s the empire management/dungeon keeper-esque experience players have come to know and love. The takeaway for PA Mobile, is that it plays intuitively with the Apple Pencil much like using something like a WACOM tablet on PC. So if you’re looking for an edition of Prison Architect with one of the user experiences and don’t mind lean a vanilla content offering, twenty-odd AU$ spent in the alla cart menu isn’t a bad deal..Version: 2.0.8

You can design and make almost anything u like within the games limits of course. ✓ Warden mode and escape modeGreat game guys, would definitely recommend downloading and paying for the build your own prison part of the game. One thing though, could you please update the game to have warden mode and escape mode just like on the pc version, I have played on pc in escape mode and warden mode and it is super fun, so could you please add this to the iOS version. ✓ Nice game/ bad gameReally it’s a good game but I hate how ur trial ends after a Serrano amount of time cus I haven’t bought the whole thing yet so maybe make it so the trial doesn’t time out and the trial goes when u leave the game or make the free build part we’ll free or like only a few dollars. ✓ Overall good, but improvements would be betterThere’s a bug that if you change the “security level” of a death row prisoner, say “normal level”, it will make him no longer a death row prisoner but a normal prisoner, on the PC version of this game, death row prisoners are not allowed to change their security levels, I hope this can be fixed soon. Another thing is that it is not allowed to switch between objects when they overlay each other, so sometimes we need to remove the light that is above the thing that we want to remove, since lights have higher priority. And some descriptions are not full on the mobile version which cause confusion, for example, death row appeal can be done every four days in the game, and this is not listed on the “program page” on mobile version but do listed on the PC version. I hope such little bugs and confusion can be corrected soon..Version: 2.0.8
✓ Amazing game!!!I play this game on my PS4, and i spend HOURS of my day playing it, i didnt even know that it was on mobile, but there is some things that i REALLY want added to the game, heres my top 5, 1. ✓ Add an escape modeHi I really love this game but the best thing is escape mode. Can u also add multiplayer escape mode? So here is how it works, u can battle with an NPC, or player. U can be an prisoner or warden. As prisoner, ur about to be executed some have a couple of days before u die. The warden has to keep the prisoner in. U can have easy, normal, or hard when playing. Easy means u have infinite lives, more prisoners than guards, and the warden is broke and lazy. Normal is pretty much how an average prison would be. Hard means u have a few more days before ur executed. Also, there are a lot of guards and specials, the warden is rich and working very hard to keep you in. But, the warden does not know who u are. ✓ I would download this game if it wasn’t for this one thing.Once you download the game, you recognize that in order to play the ‘full’ game you must pay around 20 CAD (or something around that price), which is sad for those who just want to simply build their own prison without paying any fees. This is why I have an approach I wish the developers will think about. Once downloading the game, the player has the option to create 2 prisons for free and limited items, or pay $19.99 in order to create unlimited jails and have all the items unlocked. If you decide not to pay and to stick with the free version, you get to create a max of 2 prisons with limited items and an infinite amount of time in game. Although the chances of the developers reaching out to this is low, i believe that it is indeed a good idea! Agree or disagree?.Version: 2.0.8
✓ Great ideas! The game is sick! Please read!The game is SICK, but when are mutation options for new prisons and escape mode gonna come to mobile? I would love them to come in sometime soon! More ideas: What if you could make it so guys with guns like armed guards or prisoners could shoot through prison bar windows, you could also add bulletproof windows so it can’t be shot through! Could you also allow guards to be able to take cover behind walls or something, it will make fights and riots more interesting too! OH, you should also add some more pre-made prisons, or go looking through other peoples prisons, maybe add a submit button somewhere in prison options so you won’t invade people’s privacy unless they allow you! Just add some more pre-made prison plz. Maybe replicate some more real life prisons. Also maybe be able to create artificial lakes for bridges or moats. ✓ Great game! A few minor issuesThis is a great version of the pc and console versions made almost perfectly for mobile, but a few concerns. I may just be a noob but it doesn’t really tell you how to get death row prisoners, like there is the research but even when I do that it won’t let me get any? Also there is no escape mode wich would be loads of fun on mobile, maybe it’s just a work in progress. ✓ Good gameNow, I know I rated 3 stars , but yet I said it was a good game. And yes it is. I watched videos of the pc version of this game, and seeing this on the App Store put a huge smile on my face. I immediately got it because IT WAS FREE! ✓ Praise and suggestions: ESCAPE MODEThis game is great! I purchased it from the App Store, and after paying $4.99 for the sandbox mode, I play it nonstop. There is a few thing I feel one should know, however, if they are trying to decide weather or not to get it: 1) It isn’t truly free, but it also isn’t a “pay to play game”. When you start first download this game, the features that you get are the first chapter of many storylines, and a demo sandbox mode that only lasts for seven in-game days. The rest you will have to pay for. I bought the full version of the sandbox portion, and I an not disappointed at all! You don’t need to pay for things like skipping time of more money, and it is very much like a good computer game. 2) There are some scenes that are explicit. At the very beginning, you could choose to do the tutorial, which is literally the first and only chapter that is unlocked. It shows some cutscenes as you go along that shouldn’t be viewed by a certain audience. Luckily, there is the option to skip them if you don’t want to see them. There are some features on the computer version that I would love to see added, mainly the escape mode option. That would add another fantastic gameplay option for the sandbox mode. I would also love to see other additions into this game from the computer edition..Version: 2.0.8

✓ Great game, exactly like steam versionThis version of the game is excellent, exactly like the steam version, but when your prison gets around 300 or so prisoners, the game begins to lag a lot and the triple speed stops working and is more like double for even normal speed, and the game is so laggy that if you try and save, your game crashes and I haven't got anymore than 400 prisoners at most before I can't progress because my game can't save anymore. There is no escape mode... YET (hopefully) but it's a GREAT game, and if you are one of those 2 year olds who complain because the full game isn't free, you can go die because this is a great game and it's worth the money..Version: 2.0.5

✓ AwesomeThis is nothing short of awesome, Prison Architect on your iPad! If you're a fan of the PC version, don't hesitate, you'll love it and probably spend way too much time on it like me. Don't be fooled, there are micro transactions to unlock the game and different scenarios, the tutorial is free, so if you're unfamiliar with PA you will get a chance to try it. In my eyes unlocking sandbox mode is well worth the £€$! The UI and inputs have changed to focus on tapping, dragging and pinching, as you'd expect from an app. And it's all done really well so there's nothing to hate from it. There are some occasional issues (but I'd think of them as quirks) with the game. For example I accidentally locked a door with a light above it. Now whenever I try to tap on the door, the light gets selected and the door is now a permanently locked fixture to one of my prisons. Running on my iPad Air 2 the game runs smooth up to about 150+ prisoners above that and the frame rate starts to dip occasionally. However that is understandable when you consider how much is going on in the prison, all running on a device in your hands! All in all I love this game and it's well worth a try..Version: 2.0.4

✓ Compatible with more devicesThis game is so good and I like the way that if you played it on the computer you already have an understanding on how it works and how the game runs. In problem is I got it on my iPad in the first week of it on the App Store and I liked the way you could play parts of it without needing the in-app purchase but after a month I deleted the game as it took up too much space. A few months later I decided that with the money I had earned I would buy the in-app purchase but when I went to download it, it said that my device was not compatible with the app. I FOUND IT A DISGRACE that I was unable to re-download the app because a new version didn't allow me to. But did enjoy the free story of death row. The game is fluid and I love the simple and complexity of it. You can make it what you want depending on your level of detail. However, I have a few gripes. For example will the devs ever give us an update to keep in touch with the pc version such as an select tool to mass sell wood, or fix the annoying bug that just exits the game and restores you the last save point (which can be from 10 mins to a hour ago, in these type of games a lot can happen during that time etc.) or maybe include the prioritise tool like the pc version... ✓ Excellent conversionI spent a lot of time on the PC version, and this port, a few patches in, is nothing short of superb. Now on 2.04, all of the major bugs have been ironed out and the developer will hopefully keep patching and bringing in features to make it on a parity with the PC version. ✓ Good PortThis is a very good mobile port of the Prison Architect game. The mobile port is almost exactly like the PC game and I would recommend this game to other people. There is one minor bug I have noticed, however, where the policies get reset after you save, suspend the app, and load your prison again. Slightly gameplay affecting, but it is very annoying. Maybe I am just a noob and you have to quit your prison somehow before suspending the app to prevent this. It sucked when I found out my almost one year of waiting for the devs of the Xbox/PS4 version to admit that the demand was high enough (which they said that if the demand was high enough for Escape Mode, they would go ahead and add it), but instead they cut off Escape Mode. ✓ Fantastic game, just a few suggestions!Prison Architect is one of the best games I have ever played. The way you are able to see inmates rapsheets and build your own prison is really cool. A few suggestions though: I would like it if you could have free escape mode like the PC version on iOS. Also maybe add some more things you can do in escape mode other than: steal contraband, build a gang and earn reputation points. It would be cool if you could fight rival gangs, bribe guards, or even build relationships with the inmates. I also would like if you could have like a guide to build your first prison as when I joined it took me hours, days to figure out how to build a wall. ✓ Best game but please add this...I’ve played the pc version and the mobile version of this game and they are both amazing. The gameplay is amazing with no ads or in app purchases. However, there are several things in the pc version that still aren’t available in the mobile version yet. The first thing is the access only deployment which is very useful in the pc version since i want them to bring prisoners into the main entrance. The second thing is escape mode. I know this might be a bit hard, but it would be fantastic to see this added to the game. There was a very new update where prisoners could make ropes out of their uniforms and climb over the fence. I would also be very glad to see this added. I know I’m being very picky about this game, but it is definitely worth the money and definitely my favourite game of all time. However a bug I have noticed is that if you replace a flooring for a room and want under the door to be the same they will destroy the building in order to do so and then it would not let me replace it. But apart from that it is a strategic game will a good story line of missions or a lot of freedom to create your own prison which is a challenge from the get go but fun. Dead or wounded guards will reanimate, as will any other dead or wounded staff. Take control of NPCs to fight zombies. (Control guards and soldiers by selecting them and pressing “Control unit” and watch as the game becomes like like a top-down shooter, then once you’re done shooting, deselect the unit and go back to whatever you where doing in the prison.) Send in units of the national guard if it gets too intense for your guards to handle and conduct experiments on captured zombies. Please make this a thing! I need it in my life! ✓ Almost awesome.I bought the full unlock and except for one major problem it's amazing. The problem is that my prison that I designed and built crashed every single time I touch "new program" so I. Stuck with this prison that basically can't progress much more at all. Can't set up any education or training or counseling etc. real irritating. You spend a couple hours on it and have an idea for your old prison. So you save your new prison and go to load your old one but. Its gone. No chance to load it back up. ✓ Purchased took money didnt give full versionFirst of all, I would love to say that I LOVE prison architect, and have played it on the computer for a few years now. I am currently in the hospital with a bad liver infection, and saw that I could download it on my IPad for some entertainment. I have made the purchase for the full version, however when The purchase went through the game crashed, and it is still trying to get me to purchase the Full version. I can provide my transactions to show that I did indeed purchase it and it did indeed charge my account. I have tried to redownload the game, to no effect. This is highly inappropriate to me. Once I am provided a fix, I will change my review. Update; To be clear 24 hours have passed since the purchase. I still do not have access to my purchase. Updating to 4 stars since the app finally gave me my purchases about 36 hours after the purchase. Love the game, but the point of me buying it on IPad was to have something to do while I was in the hospital. The time that it took to give me access to the purchase almost completely voided the point of the purchase. ✓ Please add prisoner modeThis game is very fun, I play it on the pc and my iPad. But when I’m playing on my iPad I always want to play prison per mode but I realize it just isn’t added. ✓ Good, but a few bug fixesI bought the full game for $7.99 and when I did it said ‘Purchase Complete’ or whatever, then it kicks me out of the game, then I go back into and it makes me buy it again, but after I put in my password and stuff it says ‘want this for free because you’ve already bought it?’ Then I press ok, then it kicks me out again!.Version: 2.0.8

✓ Great game with one frustrating flawI played this for a solid two weeks and I think it’s one of the better resource management games available for iOS. It runs surprisingly smooth and it challenges your strategic thinking in a variety of ways. However, the developers need to fix the the pass rate problem for prisoner education classes. No matter what I do I can’t seem to get enough prisoners to pass to meet the education grant requirements. Have moved classrooms closer to the cells, removed the presence of armed guards near classrooms, made sure all their other needs are met. Nothing works. Every other aspect of the game, while difficult and challenging, feels like it works exactly how it’s supposed to. This however feels like a mistake, or at least something that game itself needs to do a better job of explaining. Even with the comprehensive tutorial that’s in there you still somehow feel helpless when it comes to this one mechanic..Version: 2.0.8
