✓ I wish I could give 5 starsI’ve been obsessed for about a week. I’ve finally learned a good strategy and was able to have a prison valued at over a million. However, now it won’t save. I figured I could just load from the last automatic save. Wrong. It is also saying there aren’t any saved games. It has done this numerous times and I’ve had to restart, but now if I do that, I lose over a million in funds. What can I do to fix this problem?.Version: 2.0.8

✓ Don’t understand why you need a titleThe game itself is really fun and exciting to play but the bad side is when you buy in game items I bought the full game and got bored of it eventually and reinstalled it later, but when I reinstalled it all of my purchases were not there which means you would have to purchase them again.Version: 2.0.8
✓ Execution methods you should addI like the way you can execute prisoners of your prison but there is a few execution methods you should add. First maybe i would like if you added when execution of a prisoner begins you should be able to choose between different execution methods. Like injecting prisoners with drugs to execute them or maybe make the choice to execute them by shooting squad like in real life. And with a thing that would pop up which would give you a choice from either to use electric chair injection or shooting squad. If that came out in a update that would make it cooler devs try to do that.Version: 2.0.8
✓ Ended Up Taking My MoneyIm not trying to say that paradox is a scammer they just focussed on the gameplay so much that the purchases don't work, although don't worry, it still charges you :). ✓ Object and unit glitch please read and respondSo apparently I started building my prison, and as as I build my prison nothing goes wrong. But then when I started to build the laundry room, I try to place a unit in new foundation, and then it shows up saying that the objective can’t be reached even though some of the units next to it can be placed. Then I started experimenting around my prison, then I found a pattern,I noticed that in some places where the workers were literally standing on, it would say it couldn’t be reached, then in some places that where I had already placed an object it would still say it could not be reached. ✓ First, fix the game-breaking bugs/glitchesThe game frequently crashes when certain things are pressed. The AI seems to face multiple issues, one being that some dead bodies remain, despite having a properly functioning morgue (some bodies get did get transferred to morgue then ambulance). Other times prisoners linger around in “staff-only” areas, and there is no direct control to move prisoners. In Alcatraz, some prisoners can teleport into the water when squished and starve to death, and their bodies are unable to be removed. The user interface can be annoying at times, for example when the AI guards completely lock themselves out of the remote door controlled prison, the user is unable to click the door to manually open it due to a prisoner blocking it. The editing features aren’t very convenient or intuitive. For example, having to manually wire up each door/cctv. Or even a select all feature which includes workmen is missing. A rotate feature and larger selection area for the copy-paste would be much more convenient. Overall, a great game, but the current bugs can cause frustration and can literally break a save (from many uncleared dead bodies). The editing features and user interface also seem unpolished for a released game..Version: 2.0.8
✓ Very disappointing.I have played this game before and it’s quite fun but I have a huge problem… I saw this app, downloaded it and realised you had to pay, which isn’t a problem it is worth it for a game of this quality. I payed the £4.99 for the ‘build your own prison’ mode which is all I wanted the game for and straight after I made the purchase the app closed, i assumed it just needed to restart for your purchase to be accessible but when I loaded the game up it was still asking me to pay £4.99 and when I clicked it the payment option tab came up. I feel like I’ve been robbed, how can such a well known game have such a terrible interface that it glitches out when you make a purchase. I am literally on a brand new iPad so it certainly isn’t the device. I then tried contacting them through the ‘report bug’ section and when I pressed send or whatever it just showed this little loading icon of a prisoner mining and absolutely nothing happened, I waited for 10 minutes then just closed the app and opened the App Store and wrote this. Now I’m really hoping by tomorrow I open the app and I finally have the game mode I payed for with money that I earnt. If not, just keep the 4.99 and shove ur game….Version: 2.0.8

✓ Come on Paradox!!!!!Really disappointed with this. It’s a fantastic game, I’ve played it on PC for a few years. So thought the idea of having it on a pad so it would be more mobile was a no-brainer. I installed it and immediately paid £4.99 to take it off trial version. My payment went through, but then the game crashed. Went back in, it hadn’t registered my payment in the game and requested payment again. I attempted the payment a second time and the game recognised a previous payment - thanks for that - and asked me if I’d like to apply it. The game crashed again. I uninstalled/reinstalled, no difference. So I’d either like a fully working game or my fiver back. Don’t mind which. And I’ll be thinking twice about future Paradox purchases, which is a shame as I’ve been buying your games since Sengoku..Version: 2.0.8
✓ Some flaws, but ok.I downloaded this game and found it very boring as I couldn’t save my prison. Then, i found the architect version and bought it because it seemed very intriguing. I was let down with the lacking of quite a few features such as escape mode and 3D mode, which would make the game tons better and i would also like it if we could have new premade prisons everyday rather than having to stick with the same ones. Overall i spent 6 hours on a prison and it was deleted because the game crashed. I am disappointed in the flaws but i like the main idea of the game, and would like it even more if it were improved. :).Version: 2.0.8
✓ MoneySo when you start playing you can play trial or death row the other stories you have to pay for and to get the full version for build your own prison. What I think is you should make the things I previously mentioned free or if you want to make money you should make everything free and make the game itself when you buy it on the App Store make that cost money or you could lower the prices of the in game purchases. Now that I said that I can go on to the positive side. The game is fun to play and I play it a lot of what I can play.I say it’s a good game which is why I rate it 3 stars instead of 1. ✓ Lost all my workI saved my game as normal, there was 3 saves of it, I didn’t think it mattered which one I chose to save to, so I chose the first one “autosuspend”. Well after that I wanted to try a pre-made prison so I loaded one up... didn’t enjoy it, closed the app and came back some time later, and the prison I didn’t like was saved as the autosuspend, and my prison I spent hours working on was gone, just an old save from days ago is there now :(.Version: 2.0.8

Sunk alot of hours into already but not perfect. whatever prison i make and at varying stages of development from virtual start with low prisoner count to hundreds of inmates whenever i want to change or adjust my programs it crashes. Loosing all unsaved data. ✓ Worse game I have playedOnce you finished the intro it give you a option to pay to create your own prison, which is the main part of the game. The game advertises itself as a free to play game where really it’s just lets you into the game then makes you pay to play the main part of the application. And if you have children they will obviously press the pay button and end up costing you money for a really, horrendous pay to play experience. ✓ Great gameI thoroughly enjoy playing this game especially on iPad so I can play on the go. The only downside to playing on iPad is the lack of updates. This game desperately needs updating to bring in the same features as the pc equivalent. The last update is from 2 years ago! I Hope the developers will release an update to include all of the pc content as it is a shame that the iPad version lacks so far behind. ✓ Desperately needs updatingI have loved this game for years and thought it would be grand on my iPad, but sadly I can only play a demo level. Unlocking the full game is done via an in app purchase, which is broken. The button to buy the full game says “Buy [Unknown price]”, and pressing it will only show a loading animation for a moment before the button returns having done nothing. The app is also showing its age with two big black borders down the left and right sides of the screen, clearly not making use of newer tablet’s screen size. That said, I probably would have forgiven the screen size issue had I been able to play more than the first tutorial level, and a limited seven in-game day trial game..Version: 2.0.8

✓ Major FlawI play both the PC and the iOS version. I definitely prefer the iOS version for the portability, but the major flaw with the iOS version is the exports / selling of objects. I have massive forrest areas where the trucks can’t keep up. This also occurs in the PC version. However, in PC, you can hold down the mouse and massively sell off objects. In the iOS, you have to click each individual object to sell. My fingers hurt just thinking of this.... Anyway, please add an ability to mass sell objects or add ability to drive more trucks through the prison..Version: 2.0.8

✓ Isn't compatible anymoreI had this game and I played it every single day, the most I could. This was my favorite game. The game got really laggy, to the point where I could not tap without the game freezing. I deleted the game, then tried to get it. It said the game was incompatible. I have a regular iPad 4, not a pro, or mini. I am pretty sure it is a 9.7 in. Please fix this, and make my device compatible with it. I'm sure many more people would like to have this game on their iPad 4. I would gladly recommend this game and give it 5 stars if this would be fixed. ✓ Seriously?Ok, so this game was pretty good, I’ve had it for a while now, I think about a year and I only experienced slight issues and bugs but this is serious. I have bought the full version of the game for 15 dollars, and at some point I lost access to the entire campaign except for the first part and no matter what I did I could restore my purchases. Now that was a while ago I’d say, it never bothered me much because I didn’t like the campaign but that is still scamming. Today I have now lost access to architect mode, and I can’t restore my purchases, this game has literally scammed me out of fifteen dollars. You guys care so much about the console version and computer version that you forget about the IOS players, fix this issue now, this is a serious offense! ✓ Save your money-Don’t buyI bought this for my 2020 iPad Pro, and bought the $5 “Build your own prison” add on…and it crashes the game, non-stop. I click the “buy” button, it recognizes that I gave the developer my money, and offers to allow me to grab the add on again for free since I’ve already paid…and the game just crashes right there. The game has not been update in four years. The developer clearly doesn’t care enough to do anything about it if this is a recurring issue and the last update was four years ago. ✓ Great, but…Actually quite relaxing. Have had to look a lot of stuff online: more in game information would be great. Would also be good if prisons could hold both sexes - that would have additional challenges. The few bugs I have encountered are fixable. The mobile version has been left by the wayside when it comes to dlc. The stories/scenarios you can buy aren’t worth the purchase, in my opinion, as they play like an expensive tutorial. The fact that the mobile version of the game doesn’t have the additional content dlcs lowers the game’s length and replay value significantly, as it limits the way you can run your prison - which is sad, because it is a great game. I love how everything interacts with each other, and figuring out where along the line a worker/guard etc has been blocked from doing something - and the design element is great. We just need the extra content. All in all, this version of the game leaves you wanting more, but being unable to get it - buy it on PC, if able, as the only thing worth buying on this version of the game is the architect mode… the rest can be left to rot. Please, Paradox, give us the extra dlc. Also, I had completed all of the story chapters, except for the last one. When I opened the game up, again, it had relocked the last story chapter, and didn’t register that I had completed the chapter before it..Version: 2.0.8

✓ Bugs!!!I cannot seem to get the cells to be enclosed. I literally had two walls surrounding my prison (with the holding cell in the middle of the building) and nothing changed! The guards just kept holding my prisoners in the reception office where they weren’t allowed to go to the holding cell. Nothing I did helped and the prison went into a riot where I could do absolutely nothing about it. I loved this game on the PC but now that I don’t have one I’m sad I can’t play this anymore. I really wanted to like the mobile version as well :(. P.s. there were a lot of times where the builders wouldn’t build pipes and then stand around like the game forgot I asked it to put pipes down. ✓ Where did my purchase goHad this game for a few years and sure I purchased the full bundle a year or two ago. When I try to restore purchase it says it’s successful but still doesn’t unlock all the games! Hmmm…. But anyway, the game is a decent time but mainly resource management game. ✓ So buggyI’ve been playing Prison Architect on my console for years and I just decided to try it on iOS. I don’t even know where to start with the bugs. The most irritating one is that it forgets about my holding cells and leaves incoming inmates stranded outside forever because “there are no cells available” when yeah, there are regular cells and holding cells. I just had to sell a prison because it kept telling me there were no inmates assigned to my canteens ... but there were, and my inmates were starving because my cooks wouldn’t feed them. I mean, it’s still fun but it’s full of glitches and bugs. I wouldn’t buy it again knowing what I know now..Version: 2.0.8
✓ Good game, still buggyGreat game, it really suits the touch interface and is a great addition to the limited number of 'real' games available on iPad. I’ve come back to adjust this review though. My first review was generous as it was buggy but an early version and expected to get better. This is no longer an early version. Any prison over about 200 prisoners becomes unplayable over time with staff getting stuck and failing to do their jobs. :/.Version: 2.0.7
✓ Great game, bad support.The game itself is fantastic, no issues concerning gameplay. It does everything it is supposed to do, as a paying player I’ve enjoyed every moment of play time. A major downside is that devs and support have abandoned the mobile version of this game completely, no updates are coming, no responses ever received from support on various topics, no suggestions being taken. With all of that said, it saddens me, but I will be staying away from any app associated with this company as support goes a long ways with players..Version: 2.0.8
✓ Inmate Intake BugI’ve just been playing this game for a week. I decided to build one of my own prisons from scratch. Everything was going well, until there was a inflow of 400 prisoners. My prison could only hold 289. I decided to welcome them and build more cells and parts of my prison. My problem begun when I tried to close all the slots for getting more prisoners. I closed all the slots except for All Available. There’s where my problem is. I can not stop the All Available part of the new inmates coming in. I love this game. It’s one of the best games on this platform, but this problem has really annoyed me..Version: 2.0.8
✓ GlitchI was playing lots then some glitch made it that i cant dump things, i cant even look at prisoners rapsheets or deselect. Please fix :(. And to make it even worse the mayor person wants me to remover weights but this stupid game wont let me so now hes gonna fine me until i get rid of them. ✓ Great game but....Prison architect is an amazing game I’ve played it both on pc and Nintendo switch. When I saw it was on the App Store I was so happy because i knew it would be a lot easier playing with touch screen. However I’ve had to give this game 3 stars because I play on a iPad Pro and a massive thing that annoys me are game that dont cover the whole screen. Sadly prison architect is one of those game. When i come across game like these it really puts me off playing them because i wanna experiences the game on a full screen. I hope the developers fix this in a update or something in the future because i would then consider buying the game with my money but with a game that doesn’t fit the whole screen for me it’s not worth buying. ✓ Lost my purchaseI made the in-app purchase called “Sandbox Mode” couple of years back which unlocked the full game. Just came back to the game again now that I have a more powerful iPad, but seems like the in-app pricing structure has changed, and now I can only play the demo trial, (even after restoring my purchase), and I need to purchase again with the new pricing model. ✓ App is broken, it stole my moneyI’m sure this game was legit, but you can see from the update history that it’s long stopped being supported on the App Store. I downloaded it (on a 2017 iPad Pro) and in “trial mode” all seemed good and it was decent fun to play. I paid to unlock the full game and long story short it accepts the payment but then crashes immediately, without recognising the purchase the next time you load it up. Invoice emails from apple confirmed I’d lost the money, while the game stays forever in trial mode. I get it’s the developers prerogative to stop updating a game, but really this shouldn’t be allowed on the App Store in this state..Version: 2.0.8
