✓ Not great and unfair when you would like to unsubscribeThey make you pay for the extra month even if you’ve stopped using the app completely for the current month of subscription (because really you find on YouTube for free much nicer classes than here).Version: 2.0.0
✓ Great content but terrible cancellation policy and serviceAs someone who uses a few different yogasubscriptions onoine, I was very disappointed to find out when i cancel my subscription even with a week left, I'm unable to access the content till the end of the month which I have already paid for. Most other online yoga services allow you to access content till the date that youve paid for. eg alomoves, glo This should been at least a message upfront on the cancellation screen. I was cancelling early as there was no way to pause subscription. On top of that, having contact them about other technical issues that I have with the app before, it took them 2 weeks to get back to me. ✓ Great when it worksI love the classes, the variety and the ability to download classes too. It’s great when I want to follow along and not structure my own practice. The big drawback though is that the app only works about half the time. I can open it and select the different screens, but can’t scroll through classes or select one. Pretty frustrating. ✓ Classes and instructors are great, software needs some workApp is clunky and non responsive. Play/pause is unresponsive and inconsistent when casting. Courses don’t save your progress as you work through them. App often closes itself if you switch to a different task (like a text message). ✓ Very Bad Customer ServiceI renewed my subscription via my iPhone a week ago and am not able to gain access to member content. I’ve tried connecting with customer support via email, which generates a generic response indicating a support person will follow-up within 24 hours. Didn’t happen after multiple email contacts initiated by me. Then tried their chat support. Left me waiting on chat for about 15 minutes with no acknowledgement of wait times, etc., an no further chat after stating they would address the issue. I finally got an email that provided absolutely zero help. How do organizations like this remain in business? I’m cancelling my subscription. Buyer beware..Version: 1.7.0

✓ Wish it played when phone locked or there was a sleep functionI love the platform, but not so much the app. Pretty much impossible to use the app for meditations, as it stops playing after a few minutes when my screen goes off. I shouldn’t have to keep my screen on “always on” for this. Most apps don’t require it. Makes doing the sleep meditation impossible on the app so I have to use the browser. ✓ Steal your moneyI asked to cancel on the day my free trial ended and they said no they already charged my credit card and would not refund me. ✓ First impressionsI haven’t used the app yet, but have a terrible first impression. I’m a 43-year old woman who wasn’t able to have kids and I have a lot of grief around that. Grief that I am trying to work through with yoga and meditation. I filled out the kind of things I was interested in, and prenatal classes weren’t even on the list. But the very first recommended class was for prenatal/postpartum. So pronatalistic of you, Yoga International. Just because I am a woman under 50 does NOT mean I want suggestions for prenatal yoga classes. I hope the developers consider this. ✓ Way to hijack paying customersBe careful subscribing to this app, they over charge you in super fine print. I paid just over $100 last year for an annual subscription and was hit for $265 this year. Of course when I contacted them they are closed. ✓ Unable to upgrade subscriptionUnfortunately very buggy app – I’ve been unable to upgrade my membership and perpetually seem to be stuck in the paywall / upgrade / confirm / back to paywall loop, even when trying through both the app and directly in iTunes. ✓ Worst Customer ServiceI have never been so disappointed in a service. I was charged by this company for no reason, I never signed up. DREA accuses me of being abusive when I was not. I had just asked for a refund because I did not enroll in this service and was ignored. She was very rude offered no sympathy and did nothing to correct the situation or try to offer support. Last time Yoga International did not refund me and I took it on the chin, figuring I had messed up the cancelation. Not this time! I know I completed the process. ✓ Awful appI honestly can’t understand how it can be possible for an app to be this level of bad and still downloadable on the App Store. Quite simply, your app is broken. Please fix the plethora of issues — whether alignment being wildly off, failing to respond to device rotation, or the fact videos simply don’t work — when they do there is a persistent “pause symbol” in the middle of them, and if you do try pausing or skipping through, the entire thing breaks and you have to relaunch the app. It is frankly shocking! ✓ Better organizational options, please! :)I only signed up for the free trial and didn’t have the same problem with membership fees as others seem to have had! i actually really like this app/company BUT i wish they had a better way of organizing favorite classes. only one folder to keep stuff in so if you’ve saved a bunch of classes, they're all lumped in the same group and you have to scroll through to find what you want. and saving programs or courses isn’t even an option... why?? literally the only reason I got rid of this was because i’m trying to stay dedicated and keep yoga consistent and the lack of organization is irritating. also, i’m hoping it was just a random glitch, but there were a few times i did courses and it didn’t register that i had watched anything. so anytime i went back to continue the course, i have to sift through all the lessons to figure out where i left off..Version: 2.0.0
✓ Don’t buy thisIt will drive you nuts. The content is great and once you access it you will want it, but the instability and poor system design will drive you bonkers. Have a favorite class? If you find it once on your iPhone you will never find it on you laptop or roku device, because favorites don’t transfer. Roku app crashes constantly (thought the workout room was a good plan, think again). iPhone app sometimes scrolls but usually doesn’t, so you will only be able to access the first two classes on any list. Contest crashing across all platforms, and search function is terrible, especially on the roku app, you can search the literal entire name for a course you are staring at on your phone and never find it on your laptop or roku. This app might have been a revelation in 2004 but it is an absolute embarrassment in 2019. Don’t waste your money..Version: 1.9.9

✓ Offline mode not workingI did love this app (and the computer version) - lots of great teachers, classes, articles... BUT, one of the main reasons (if not THE reason) I got it, was for when I travel. I need to be able to save and download my favorite classes so that when I don’t have my home studio aaand I don’t have signal, I can still do yoga. This used to be possible with this app, unfortunately it no longer works. ✓ It’s a trap! Stay clearTook out a 30 day free trial after seeing a FB advert saying you could cancel at any time. It’s a lie. Can’t cancel membership in the app and the online process to cancel is designed specifically not to work and doesn’t allow you to leave, just takes you to a page to sell you more courses and is impossible to get passed. Any company with such obvious deception and who treat customers with that much contempt need to be called out. On top of that, it doesn’t cast to Chromecast so unless you have the app on a TV or Apple TV, you’re stuck with it on a small screen.Version: 2.2.1
✓ Great teachers but proceed with cautionGreat teachers but, as many other people state, the app itself is riddled with bugs. It works so poorly through Apple TV, the reason I have it, with the search function proving virtually useless. The customer service is awful - no email or phone - and as other people note, the renewal policy is brutal. I tried to cancel during my annual subscription and got an automatic message saying I’d immediately lose my membership. Then it renewed and despite taking no classes and contacting them within a few days, they point blank refused to refund me. Yes, there’s a wide variety of different yoga sessions on there but it’s confusing and quite difficult to find the type of sessions you want. ✓ Terrible tech issuesI purchased a membership with the highest of hopes. I loved everything I saw & was eager to begin classes. I used the roku app on my tv (brand new roku device, only a month old), it crashed 8 times in a 30 minute class. So I tried another tv in the house with a different roku app (roku tv, 3 months old). Again it crashed constantly. I resorted to trying to finish the class on my phone (brand new iPhone 11) again, the classes crashed. After spending nearly 3 hours to take a 30 minute beginner class I finally gave up and cancelled. I love that you have classes for the absolute beginner & for the mobility challenged, but I can’t take 3 hours to do my yoga each day. You have a great foundation, but your tech is just terrible. ✓ Don’t do it!This company has a very aggressive subscription model, with a zero refund policy. I signed up for a monthly subscription, was moved across to annual and then received no reminder about upcoming renewal. I noticed the payment and immediately asked to cancel, only asking for a pro-rated refund for the time not lasted. I was told they do not offer refunds. I had two questions with the help team and was then told I would not be offered any further help support regarding membership questions! They don’t even have T&C for an annual plan, and when I asked to see them they told me they won’t reply to membership questions anymore. Unbelievably poor customer service and short term money grabbing attitude. I would say avoid from as far away as possible. ✓ Disappointing EntrapmentI cancelled online two weeks before the end of my month trial (after noticing the advertised ‘hundreds’ of courses included in the membership were actually very few) and was very surprised to find YI billed me for the next 12 months. When questioned the operator was downright rude and I was told that there was no evidence of an attempt to cancel. They can’t even provide a receipt for tax purposes. ✓ Let downYoga Intl is full of great content. Unfortunately the app lets the down. It’s buggy, crashes often and just plain doesn’t work properly. For example when listening to a podcast, shortly after starting, all of the co trols disappear. They are still there because you can pause and scrub through if you can remember where the controls should be. Looking through the reviews it’s clear to see that the app has never properly worked for everyone so I have elected to ditch the app and use the browser on my phone to access content instead..Version: 2.3.0

The videos didn’t even work properly - the instructor introduction video keeps playing in the background while I opened another video, therefore I cancelled it after a few days. Then I found out after a few months, they’ve been deducting money from my account all this time. I had to go back and cancel it again. It was a very confusing process to cancel the subscription. ✓ Yearly subscription renew scam, no refund policyI got a yearly subscription during lockdown last year as it was a good deal. My yearly subscription then got automatically renewed even though I was sure I cancelled it before the renewal. I contacted them 2 days later when I saw the £100 payment on my statement but I never received a reply. ✓ Buyer bewareI bought a Bluetooth device and along with it came a membership to this website and two others . I never opened this website and used it but I did use the other one pandora for the three free month period . When I went to cancel this and the pandora I couldn’t get them canceled I finally had to put in dispute on My credit card to get rid of but by then this company said I owed them for 5 months . About $75 . Amazing I never used this at all not one class or what ever they call this app I don’t even know the name of this company , I would call it scam yoga. I never knew if I liked yoga but now I know I hate yoga what negative energy to charge someone for something they never used. ✓ Think a radical app update is overdue!I'm glad a new feature has appeared to link easily from an email to watch a class on the app, but more work on functionality needs to be done. I've saved a few classes as favorites, but when I view my favorite classes from the app - none appear on my faves list. I can search for the class again & there is my favorite heart icon sitting at the bottom of my favorite class, but doesn't show on my list :( Very annoying ! Also, I've downloaded a few videos, same issue, they don't appear on my download list. :( Very very annoying !! It seems this app has a lot of work to do to match up with the great content being offered. I subscribe monthly & feel YI are letting me down, I'm losing patience. ✓ Buggy appEvery time I push pause it won’t play again. Also, the suggested videos are rarely what I have asked for in my settings. It suggests all levels of videos when I should really only be doing 1 and 2. I also like to bookmark videos that I might want to try in the future but I wish the bookmarks page would give more information on the video than it does. ✓ Glitchy appThe app is glitchy, and some content can only be viewed on the web. I signed up for a free trial through the app and it didn’t update - so I was stuck in a loop of getting denied access to paid content, being notified I had to start a trial, and then going to start a trial and being notified I already had one. When I tried to login through the site it also hadn’t registered my trial account and tried to get me to activate again, although it showed on my Apple subscriptions already. The app was too frustrating to deal with, especially since it doesn’t have all of the content. Too bad, the courses and workshops looked great..Version: 1.9.9

✓ Cancelling a subscription is not possibleI cancelled my subscription through the iPhone app and continued to be charged monthly. Reached out to yoga international with no response. Apple was not able to help me because yoga international was charging me directly and have no idea why they have my credit card information directly. Eventually after many hours on hold with the visa fraud department there is an investigation but unfortunately they aren’t able to stop the payment so my card has to be replaced. ✓ Yoga with a bit of scam!!I hate to write a bad review but 4 months ago I tried this site for 1 months , and since I don’t really use it as much I decide to cancel it in the same month. For some reason that cancellation didn’t go through , even tho it says Processing! I thought all good, until 4 months later I saw they have been charging my acc that I don’t use. So 4 month after I tried again to cancel and it says , PROCESSING . But never actually canceled. I didn’t get any confirmation and ect. I assume a lot of people get fooled here. I contacted the costumer service explaining the whole thing and they said they are like Netflix and can’t really refund! What a lame answer sorry but not sorry . but this is a difficult time , if you want to scam and take advantage of people please don’t use the name yoga!.Version: 2.2.1

✓ I would give zero stars if I could.I would give zero stars if I could. I got sick shortly after signing up for the free trial period. I have loss of mobility and dexterity of my limbs and paralysis throughout my body. I haven’t been able to use the app at all! I tried to cancel my free trial and the website wouldn’t let me, so I contacted customer support. During this time the free trial ends and they charge me for the next month. I explain the situation and ask for a refund but it’s more important for this company to make $14 than make an exception for a SICK PERSON. This company is so horrible! How can you promote health, wellness and balance when you are a company who sees things in black and white? ✓ App - 2⭐️ at most, content - 5⭐️As a yoga instructor and yoga student I enjoy the content of YI for several years now. I found teachers, courses and other content I enjoy, use in my classes and personal practice. Sadly the usability of the app is left much to be desired. I view it on my iPad most of the time. The size of videos doesn’t fit to the screen when I open them (I have to switch to another app, then back, and by chance the app would show video full screen). I can’t open videos from my saved list and have to type in the name of the class in a search to get an access to smth I already saved. The web version and mobile app version do not really sync (I had issues while viewing my purchased courses). Sometimes a teacher’s intro video plays over a class video (!!), because it just has an autoplay… There are many more annoying issues. They need a good QA team on board to check on all that bugs, both mobile app and web. I don’t want to level up on my subscription because all these bugs..Version: 3.0.0
✓ Don’t do it!!!!!I joined up over Thanksgiving based on the reviews. The area I do yoga is in my family room and I use my TV to view it (Roku). It is slow and there are issues with the app on my TV; I spent 45 minutes trying several avenues to get it to work (several occasions), missed my time for yoga and the only resolution was that I was not able to see the screen. I asked for a refund and the “issues” have begun. The response I received was inadequate and clearly the person who responded sent a scripted response, and has no understanding of my membership. I asked for the issue to be sent to a supervisor...the response is silence. What a disappointment, my view of this company is quickly changing..Version: 1.9.9
✓ Total Scam!I tried to cancel my membership a month ago (literally after I signed up for the trial and realized it wasn’t for me, a little to hippy dippy for my liking) but apparently the cancellation didn’t go through. I haven’t used the service AT ALL and only discovered that the cancellation didn’t go through when I saw the charge on my CC. I immediately contacted the company (via chat because they no longer have a customer service department) explaining the issue and asking for a refund. They’re reply was while I couldn’t get my money back, I’d be able to use a service THAT I DON’T WANT for the next month. Thanks but no thanks, total rip off!.Version: 2.0.0
✓ Bad appClunky, from initial login and never gets better. Higher better programmers. You are forced To go through an awkward search to find anything. If they are listening , try to make it connected to the website so at least you can cue up on the pc so that what you want is easily available when you want to spend time in an online practice rather than searching endlessly and hopelessly for a specific class. They lure customers with promotions and discounts then renew without notice at double the initial price for the whole year at once without the possibility to cancel. They dig their heels in as if it’s right to charge a year in advance for services as yet unused. Disgusting behaviour from a “yoga” company. ✓ They will take your money but lock you out of the app!Tried to access the app after a few month break. They still happily took my money but wouldn’t provide any support to reset my account. I didn’t want to cancel but I didn’t have a choice as customer service kept giving me guidance that didn’t work. ✓ Crashes if you pauseNavigating through favourites is not a friendly experience. Since a recent release it doesn’t show the duration of the class. And there is no way to organise them in groups. If I need to pause the class, it won’t restart playing. I have to close and start again and fast forward to where I was. This causes that my class doesn’t count towards my weekly goal. Closing the video after finishing can be tricky. Like the sensitivity of the touch screen is not properly adjusted. The variety of classes is OK. ✓ Technical GlitchesI’ve enjoyed the content over the last several months to get my daily exercise in. However, for a while now you cannot pause or skip or rewind in the video at any point without having to start it over. It just freezes indefinitely. This has killed my morning yoga buzz multiple times now. Received a call mid-workout and just denying the call crashed the video. Unable to reboot and skip to where I was. This app needs some extra tech support love..Version: 2.2.1
