✓ Needs updated.I’ve played this game for about two years now and it’s consistently gotten worse. The gameplay never changes, the only aspect of battle that matters are the officers. The morale implications for officers skews the gameplay to the point it has become repetitive. The global rank takes forever to increase and has no real impact on gameplay. The backup you pay for has no true involvement in the battle. You just need to keep your own nobleman from being injured, otherwise morale plummets after the first hit and the battle becomes a mayhem filled, timed speed run to try and kill their officers. There is no realistic balancing between defeat and victory in the campaign. You can end a battle having killed all the enemy officers and leave one troop standing in a formation only to have that battle come out as a stalemate. I just think some of the mechanics need to be rebalanced before much longer..Dr TongsVersion: 2.0.8

✓ Great, but in desperate need of improvement.I love the strategy element of the campaign in particular, and honestly that’s all I play for. Most of the maps are cool, not so much the forest (which is not something I would normally say…). The combat system is weird, especially the melee… There seems to be no logic to it. Perhaps the worst elements are the complete lack of effort put into the story and general progression. It starts off strong, you get a diary entry every few campaign levels, which tend to introduce new units and explains their origins. The trouble is, you face them, but don’t unlock them. They’re offered in the store as “early unlocks”, for gold, yet, somehow, I’m on level 84/87, and haven’t seen any of them? ✓ Ai is terribleWhoever programmed the AI needs to find a new job, its one of the worst ive ever seen. Standing still in the middle of open ground being crossfires. Running at enemies with sniper rifles in hand, then spinning 180 degrees to fight a different enemy while being shot in the back. Moving artillery into open ground vs melee units. Melee units attacking a ranged unit, starting to win, then running off to attack a different unit while being shot at by multiple groups... Dont mean to sound like a dick but this is ridiculous, the game itself looks fun, and i enjoyed previous games you made, including the animal defense game. Idea This game is a really good idea, a alternative history civil war experience, but the way the pulled this off? Not so good. I like the strategy bit, that’s a super good idea! Also the ammo thing is good! (You can get different ammo and they have different uses etc...) 2. Downfall The controls are clunky and bad, the way you fire is not good either, too hard in close range. Also the enemy AI is really appalling, I stood right next to them and they kept firing at guys miles away? To be fair once you start shooting or go melee mode then they will fire back. ✓ Easy 5 star if it didn’t lagThe game itself is awesome...when you can play it. Back before it lagged constantly it was my go to game. Spent money on it cause I like the game not cause I needed to to win. The content is great at every level. The game play is simple were it can be and deep where it should be. The graphics are amazing. But I stopped playing this brilliant game cause it just lags constantly now. So disappointing cause this is otherwise a shinning example of what mobile games (and games in general regardless of platform) could be. It seamlessly combines strategy and first person shooting...well other than the lagging. You never feel like you need to spend money to win, you can adjust your strategy and weapons instead. You can be really serious with it on harder difficulty, or you can play casually to blow off steam and shot stuff. Fix the the lag and I would give it 10 stars if I could. ✓ Unlimited Ad WorksGame is still fun but now its almost littered with ads imo. From first booting up the app to ad loots and gold to even after every scenario/mission completed or failed. There is even a slim chance you get an ad that once its finished you still get the “Loading” text in the middle of the screen (or a darken transparent blank screen) on top of whatever it is you are looking at before the said ad started. This game, mind you, is still fun to play and combines tpp/tps and rts/strategy when fighting and strategy when planning moves to take out the enemy’s HQ, units, cap/decap ES and other important areas. You can control your nobelman (woman, veteran, or gear if bought) to fight along side your npc allies or you can relax and let the fight autoplay itself. There is also a skirmish mode that allows you to team up with other players or you can solo it. This game does not need internet access to play/load the game..OmnomnomurfacepiegullVersion: 2.0.5

✓ Needs improvingI like the game but if you stop in the middle of a campaign mission and go back later on to play again the game has taken you back a few turns. I wouldn’t have a big prob with this but it doesn’t give back the ammo and gold you used to get there. I’ve even had it go back into a campaign mission after I finished it. The first time I finished I got 1500 GOD rounds in a treasure chest. When it took me back it took away the 1500 rounds and the second time it gave me a crappy officer that I would just delete. ✓ Poor UpdateI’ve been playing this game for around a year now and put more time than i care to into it. The thing that had me keep coming back was that this was a free to play. While it still had a strong push for micro transactions, it gave you the ability to gain the premium currency by just waiting and not paying. Those time based premium currency drops offset the long wait times, 1 week and 1 month, for a reward worth it. With this update it removes that for drop chests and the only way to earn premium currency (gold) is to buy it, or watch a video for 10 of it. This has moved the War Shop from being able to use silver to strictly a premium currency shop, where you can no longer get premium currency in bulk for free. I would still recommend the game, but the additional of forcing more micro transactions leaves a bad taste. Judge for yourself..WaovdhgfmdwovdigrnVersion: 1.5

You are constantly asked to view ads in order to increase rewards, get equipment, etc, and as if that wasn’t bad enough, the ads crash without necessarily giving rewards. Gameplay is clunky. Imagine Shogun with a God unit; but the God unit does not respond to orders and likes to hurl itself into the jaws of death. Why does my war elephant, and anyone on a horse all have to stand on me or in my way. It’s maddening. ✓ Pay to win...At first, this was a pretty great game. You would always be able to progress at your own pace and, if you wanted, you could pay a little real money to increase levels faster. This all changed with the last update. Games of this sort usually have two currencies- the normal one that you earn after a battle and the “premium one.” The premium one is usually very hard to obtain as it gives you access to new tech and gear. But now, the currency needed to use the in-game shop changed from the normal in game money to the gold (premium). To gain the amount of gold needed to buy the new troops or crates, you would either have to binge the game at least 24 hours straight or pay an absurd amount of real money..RyanF34Version: 1.5.2
