✓ Another P2W. DisappointmentIt is clear at which wave the developers designed the difficulty of the game to spike up to encourage(read: forced) the player to buy in app purchases for crystals. As the game itself was already paid for, I was naive to think that the same cash grabbing mentality would not be present here but I was wrong. ✓ Good improvement, needs some fixing stillHuge fan of H&C 1, so I thought I'd pick this game up as well. Compared to H&C1, this game's progression is significantly longer and harder, with the whole "conquering sites" a nice touch to the overall gameplay. You can also summon your other heroes as combat units, which is a nice touch There are some, in IMO, unnecessary nuances, like literally finding an unlit treasure box in a shrubbery filled landscape at night - other than using a minute of my life searching, I see no purpose in this game design. There's a lot more units, with some being a little redundant for variety, which is fine. There is a problem with local multiplayer - can't find/connect on Bluetooth nor local wifi. Ad-hoc network doesn't work as well. Even hosting an online game and having the other iPad connect doesn't work (cannot find game). Using two iPad Air 2's, there seems to be a RAM issue even at 2GB. If your maxed army is at a stand still with a sizable enemy army, casting AOE spells or heals is enough to crash the game. Not even end game or survival settings, we're talking wave 9 out of a presumable 30 waves. Otherwise, good game, semi worth the money if local multiplayer was supported (I don't even know if you can do more than 2 players!).Sushisamurai!Version: 1.3.3

✓ Pay to winWhat could be a very fun game is made horrid by a pay to win barrier. You will do fine for a time and then have to spend money to get on par with the now overpowered enemies. It is a great game but there is no reason why I should pay to have a Chance at winning on easy mode! The biggest wall is when they start throwing tons of orcs at you and your units just can’t keep up. You are not given enough crystals ( the game currency ) to keep up effectively and there are multiple chesty enemies that are always overpowered. My advice only get this game if you have $20-30 extra to spend on crystals throughout it..No regrets lolVersion: 1.3.9

✓ New game+One of the biggest pieces of garbage. Completely removes endless game mode. By round 38 it’s completely impossible to get past. Even with a perk which speed up point production to spend on troops. My god, you guys really don’t play your own game. Who ever actually thought this was a good idea? All my hero’s are level 35 and no matter which I played as I could get past this round. Btw, this is with 20$ worth of upgrade points, all of my troops are fully upgraded. ✓ Excellent quality.EDIT: Please people. It's not even that hard to get crystals. Just play the game. Capturing outposts/villages can give you enough crystals as you battle. Stop complaining, or play another game, cause clearly, this one's not for you. Best game I've played in ages. Why two stars? Because I can never fully enjoy a game that crashes every single time I win. Where's the sense of victory when I can only hear "Vic-" then it crashes. ✓ Good Concept, but frequent crashesThe game is a decent one, and just about worth £1.49, especially as it has several hours worth of gameplay. However, it crashes extremely often, which is inconvenient to say the least. There is also the problem that it is unable to run on my iPad Mini. So much so that when I adjusted the graphics to get a taste of high resolution, the game immediately crashed then did so again and again before I was forced to delete, and re-download it. ✓ Too hard!!This would be a fantastic game if it weren’t for the fact that it is extremely difficult. I been trying to level up in this game and I can’t even capture more that a few territories, 1 reason because of the constant attacks on your territories and very short amounts of time to defend so you are just constantly overwhelmed by the enemy. But the main reason is the sheer difficulty, way too many enemies at one time for an example 11/20 difficulty. And the enemies are too OP. First H&C way better..Kandyman$$Version: 1.3.9

✓ One of the most fun games on IOS, so why 2 stars?Well, as the title suggests this may be one of the most fun, engaging, engrossing and lengthy games that IOS has to offer. The company behind it seems to be nice and interested in doing complete experiences for a cheap amount of money so buying it is not a question, you really should. However, currently it only really deserves 2 stars (which is a shame, because it's not far off perfection for the following reasons; Characters nerfed to the ground - check Characters so OP at high levels the others are pointless (endless mode dwarf engineer) - check Multiplayer connections so bad you always result in a disconnection even on a good internet (must be a net ode issue) - check Late game waves of enemies thrown into updates that are so unbalanced only a handful of methods will win the mission - check Such a shame for what could still be the greatest game on the platform. All this basically ends in a lesson of managing frustration while you watch units following enemies right up close for minutes at a time but not hitting them because they aren't on the priority targeting list. ✓ Very good, but....I really enjoyed the first game and the second follows pretty much the same formula. The game itself had loads of potential but quite frankly is impossible unless you are prepared to make IAPs. I hate paying for an app and then having to pay to play also. It's totally wrong. You just can't progress in this game unless you are prepared to pay for upgrades. It's a real shame as I want to play. After a few levels you just become so overwhelmed that it's impossible to progress any further without cashing out. Same on the developer. ✓ Let's Celebrate with a Victory Crash!Like all of Foursaken's games, H&C2 is absolutely incredible, and certainly fortifies my opinion of Foursaken being the most top-notch developers on the App Store. However, I cannot give a full review to a game whose philosophy is "Let's celebrate the player's laggy victory with another crash!". One one hand, the game becomes extremely laggy in more intense battles, which - despite the beautiful graphics - shouldn't be happening on an iPod Touch 5G, which is currently the highest-end iPod out there. And then, it also crashes every single time we win a battle. Thank god our progress is saved; but it's not very rewarding, is it? Furthermore, we don't know what we've unlocked in terms of units, research e.t.c. because it crashes before showing the tooltips. Another issue is the tips themselves; when we discover a new enemy, for example, a handy little tip comes up explaining how to fight them. However, this tip can be skipped by touching anywhere on the screen! In the midst of an intense battle, where we're tapping all over the place, we never even get to see them; so we get overwhelmed by these new enemies because we have NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE. Tips should have a timer (3...2...1...) BEFORE allowing us to tap anywhere to continue. That way, players can actually get to read about the new foes we face. The multiplayer doesn't work as soon as you enter the game it says game is out of sync even though I am using the fastest 4G available on iPad 2 air. ✓ So much potentialBut IAP gets in the way. Good start to the game but when you get to stage 8 it becomes extremely difficult. Dashing skeleton that slow you down and do not seem to take any damage even tho your using the shielded Knights and marksmen which the scribe say are the best counters and then you get underground jumping ghoul. My hero never seen to be able to stay on his feet. Then you lose the wave which then weakens your lands and Castle. Which then make it even harder to beat the wave as you can lose bonus's and unit types. Obviously you can solve that problem if you buy crystals. How often do we have to buy them?
