✓ Thought provoking journeyWhen I saw this app, I was intrigued by both the graphics and the idea. The idea is simple and no journey will generally take you more than 10 minutes, but what it represents is an interesting and in many ways emotional event. For those intrigued by the idea, the boats are metaphors for various lives. Whilst I was drifting through the sea, my little boat would encounter various events or things, which on the surface didn't seem like a big deal, until you equate them to yourself. As an older iPad user, this might have more meaning for me, than someone younger, but only because I've experienced more. I find it strange how, very quickly I became attached to the idea of the boat and what happened to it. For instance, when you've become married and had a child, or you see you partner stop near the end of your life, you realise the milestones are more than just images. So for all those intrigued about a journey of life, this is the app for you and which is why I have given it 5 stars. Well done to developer, for looking past the complex and encapsulating the idea of life into an interesting and intriguing app..Version: 1.1

I recommend opening the app for the first time at night, in a quiet place, with headphones on. The audio experience is just as important as the visuals! From there just go with the flow. ✓ A Beautiful, Yet Simple, StoryI came across this game while looking for some free adventure games and I’m very glad I decided to download it. This game is more of a story than a game, you really don’t have to do much of anything. But it is a wonderful story of life told without any words and I find it relaxing. The visuals are very calming and the music fits really well. This is definitely an experience more than a game. Introverts and visual artists will especially love this. There are parts that are louder than others (like in the teenage stage), but generally the audio is soothing and calm. Also: If you like this game, I recommend the game Lost Tracks. It’s a bit more interactive but it’s about a journey within oneself and facing anxiety. Lost Tracks has very similar visuals but they are colored, and a bit more detailed. Overall I really enjoyed this game, and I think you will too. And if you do enjoy Long Journey, then I recommend checking out Lost Tracks as well. I wish there were more games like this..Version: 1.2
