✓ Enjoyable gameThis is a very enjoyable game. It was a bit slow to start with and you have to find things out for yourself if you haven’t played the first game. This edition is much better and you should think about having a go at it..Version: 1.10.9
✓ Needs improvementI would give this 5 stars with a few changes. -More and varied rewards from the clam. It’s always 2 gems. -More and bigger tanks. You’re always having to shuffle fish around, and invariably accidentally sell needed breeding stock. -A ‘Do Not Sell’ flag. To avoid accidents. -A record of prices. Especially the maximum sale price. It’s ridiculous to have to take screenshots of every sale, build spreadsheets or write a notebook when the app already has this data and could easily display it. -A way of setting prices other than from the breeding screen. Especially for fish you don’t currently have in stock. It could also use more shop upgrades. Once you have them all, and hundreds of thousands in the bank, coins and gems become pointless. ✓ 5 starsI love that free to play games are starting to include the option to watch ads as an alternative way to earn things that would normally cost real money. I have never understood how a "free to play game" could justify charging players real money as the only option to earn various things (from items important to game play to coins/gems, dependent upon which game is being played, of course). Watching a quick 30 second ad instead of having to pay actual money to get extra (game) $/coins/gems, etc... is a brilliant marketing strategy in my opinion - and it's actually how I even discovered this game (I was watching an ad to earn some extra coins for another game, and the ad that came up was for Fish Tycoon. Downloaded it and was instantly hooked. Fish Tycoon is simple to understand, entertaining and free - I recommend this game for sure and have rated it 5 stars..Version: 1.10.5

✓ Fun way to pass times, potential for improvementThis game has been really fun for me so far. I’ve been able to use the ad watching feature to get ahead when passing the time, but using it to obtain a sufficient amount of gems is impossible. I’m not interested in paying for gems, but I would be interested in a way to buy gems using coins. This is especially important because I just got a goal to buy something that costs coins, and I don’t have enough. It’s way more coins than I’m able to get in a reasonable amount of time watching ads. As a result, I won’t ever be able to achieve this goal and it makes me want to put the game down indefinitely. Alternatively, if there were a way to skip goals either with a small gem cost or ad watch I think this would be preferable. Thanks for the fun game!.Version: 1.10.9

✓ Best game ever back again for a second run !I've always loved the original fish tycoon game, with its realistic ' grow while you're gone ' and with how most apps nowadays require you to wait to progress, it only feels more natural with this game. Which has btw kept all of its old features and include new ones ! I was scared to play this game and see it be 'ruined' by removing features from the past which is what made the game great, but that didn't happen here ! ✓ Please make gems easier to getI love this game! It’s absolutely adorable and addicting. But my only problem with it, is, how hard it is to get gems. I mean, it’s like I either wait 2-6 hours of my life, or spend a lot of money. Which is definitely not convenient. A previous comment did bring up a great idea though. How about spending coins for gems. That would be sooooo much better! Or if adds gave more than just two gems. How about 25? Or you could just lower prices of things that need gems. ✓ Nostalgia done right!When I saw an ad for this game my initial thought was “oh no, another childhood favorite ruined by microtransactions.” However, once I got into gameplay I found out that it is completely playable without paying a dime. Sure, it might take a while to watch ads for gems, but you don’t really NEED gems to play the game. I think the ads for gems and ads for coins were fantastic features and ways for the devs to make some money without breaking the game. ✓ We always come backThis is just one of those games my family comes back to over and over throughout the years. Yes, years! I remember the first edition that I downloaded on my computer way back when and this game just has something about it that makes the replay fun and “new” because with the many variations of fish breeds, it’s just so easy to forget them, especially after a good amount of time’s passed. The only reason for one less star is because it does become monotonous after some time, as you end up breeding for what feels like ages. ✓ Good timesThis game is best played a few min then going to do something and come back. You can watch unlimited ads for gems and money which helps. It takes time for the fish to breed then grow. As addictive as it is I appreciate this about the game. Play a little go do real life stuff come back type of thing. A lot of fun to breed the fish. It would be nice to have access to the breeding map type thing if you have breed the fish before incase you need to do it again and had sold them though. Kinda gets boring and you forget about the game because you dont want to sit there to wait for the fish to grow to the sellable age- considering there isn't much else to do and idling in game drains battery. I want to play the game more but there is just nothing else to do but wait for fish to grow. Way too much waiting time- the fish get sick and you spend your money on fungal & ick treatment and then have to wait ages to sell fish to get that money back then it happens all over again lol. ✓ Wait time to have mascot help sell fishMy partner and I both have this game and last night I was playing it and my partner notice that after I’ve used my mascot to dance and help bring customers I have a wait time of 299:54 before I can reuse him again (I took a screenshot) My partner said he doesn’t have to wait this long he, he only has to wait like an hr but I’m waiting over 4 hrs. ✓ Great game!Anyone intending on playing this game should immediately breed the magic fish with every other fish they get until getting two of the same magic fish, then continuously breed them with each other and sell the oldest! The game has a bit of a slow start but as long as you don’t buy eggs, and buy the 2nd tank you’ll have money quick for upgrades... I suggest using the selling tank and your main tank to birth fish into, you’ll get 2 fish per breed so you can have 7 pregnant fish in both tanks and have 28 babies, then use your breeding tank to transfer between your sell tank and 1st tank (baby fish can’t be sold so they can be safely stored in the selling tank while selling other fish)... I always keep at least 3 of the magic fish so I can gain the bonus from those fish in every tank!.Version: 1.10.8

But the one thing that is wrong with the game is that it has really high prices when you have to buy supplies, and the fish that you sell are really cheap, while the supply list money just bursts through the sky. ✓ Lots of memories old and newWhat an amazing sequel to the original game, used to play it on pc and also handheld at one point. Fish Tycoon 2 keeps true to the basics of its predecessor but also builds on them by adding more tech upgrades, more decorations and a lot more fish to breed. On the subject of in game currency however, gaining coins is fun and easy as well as challenging as you need to upgrade to breed more expensive fish. Gems are different though, you can gain a couple of gems for watching an ad and a magic seashell will appear in the tank giving you a couple more gems so if you don’t want to pay real money for them it can be a grind trying to get enough gems to buy something you want. Overall I am very happy with this game, its nostalgic and relaxing. I would love to see loads more fish breeds or even other aquarium animals such as shrimps or various snails and maybe the ability to organise the layout of the store..Version: 1.7.6

One thing that I would recommend to be done, is to have the ability to buy or earn fish through completing tasks! This would make it much more fun and enjoyable! ✓ Fish Tycoon 3I would love to play the game again. But I want to suggest some changes. I need to know which fish is new after the pop-up goes away, so I know which one to breed. And, there must be a better way to determine what species make what. So I think the game should remember or save combinations that you have already made. There should be some way to avoid having to google the chart, and some way to avoid oldschool note-taking while playing the game. I think the combinations of fish get a little boring once all fish and fins, and magic fish, have been discovered. It would be neat to allow unlimited types of fish, maybe allowing users to draw and upload fish. My suggestions may be a bit too ambitious but anyway, would love to play again. ✓ Missed fish tycoonFish tycoon is the best virtual fish game EVER!!!! I played the original and now am 6 days in on this one and absolutely love it. I do hope given the type of game they came out with, that they will continue to add species and more and more items. Like I said above, I’m on day six, and I have bought all research, all upgrades, and have found 203 out of the 400+ fish. Right now I’m concentrating on getting some coin so I can find the rest of the fish. I have seen some complaining about not having enough coins unless you find the magic fish that can make you rich...this is not true, unless you are strictly playing only 30 min a day, then it will take awhile. I have not bought a single coin package, and only bought a small gem package so I could get all upgrades. But truth be told I could have completed goals and watched ads to earn those gems. It’s unclear what type of fish you’re breeding - saltwater or freshwater. Considering what equipment they sell and name of some fishes - it’s freshwater. But the look of the tanks, corals in them, clams, etc - those should mean its saltwater. Unclear. It’s created just to entertain and collect micro transactions, like thousands of similar games, not to educate or give a real strategy game challenge. ✓ Fish Tycoon 3?I was a huge fan of the original Fish Tycoon, spending countless hours playing it on my trusty palm PDA. However, I must admit that I have some reservations about the sequel. The introduction of in-app purchases and the constant promotion of another game whenever I make a fish sale really detracts from the overall gaming experience. One aspect I particularly miss is the ability to accelerate time. The current setup, where you have to wait for four hours each time, leaves much to be desired in terms of gameplay. I believe the game would greatly benefit from more engaging content rather than these lengthy waiting periods. Personally, I'd be more inclined towards in-game downloadable content (DLC) as opposed to the gem-based system. It's my belief that the prevalence of in-app virtual currencies has had a negative impact on the mobile gaming landscape..Version: 1.10.170

I had a problem here with the game freezing while selling items, crashing after losing connection with server. I wrote about the issue and I was happily recompensed (way above what should have been given). And the issue is gone. ✓ Always loved this gameAwesome fish tycoon game from my childhood. The original game made me interested in being an entrepreneur when I was a kid lol. You can totally play this game without spending real $$ by being patient and playing smart. Also takes a tiny bit of luck. There are lots of opportunities to earn coins for stuff such as watching ads. The only thing I don’t like is that a lot of items cost an exorbitant amount of gems and it’s really hard to get those. But the ones for gems, only get you two gems at a time. And the magic shell that appears in the tank once an hour is only two gems. But it costs a thousand gems to get that third fish tank. So, do I wait forever? Watch a million ads? Or pay? Why? Why can’t it be part of the game instead of lousy ads? It’s like your genius stopped there. ✓ Love itI remembered playing the original as a kid but was never able to find all the magic fish. Downloaded this in a wave of nostalgia and wow, what a great game! Graphics are wonderful and the gameplay can be as simple or complex as you want. Sorry developers but I’m poor so I didn’t buy any in game currency, but was still able to get all store and research within a week and a half of not quite hardcore playing. Now after about three weeks of total play I’ve got all the magic fish! Childhood goal realised. And to the game haters saying it’s hard to make money and everything’s expensive then chase that golden guppy guys. ✓ A great game to compliment pen/paper strategyTask update: Tasks are good until you then have to essentially pay for them as they require you to buy things with green gems to complete. I feel tasks add purpose to the game but they aren't specific enough if you've bred most of the fish and want additional game play. I was hoping for things like 'breed x number of type y fish' or have a tank full of y fish types. So not really any challenges and costly if you want to get beyond the first few tasks. .... I've played LDW games since the early days and it's great to get an update on Fish Tycoon. To get the most out of this game you will need to get out a pen and paper (or spreadsheet) and start cataloging your fish to 'breed them all'. There are a few bugs to iron out but the game works great. There is a strategy - you can't just nurture them, you have to start small, sell your fish at low prices and then upgrade slowly - or they will die. You don't need to spend money on the game to get a lot of enjoyment - but I spent some real money just to show some appreciation for the developers - after all , i'd love them to make more games.... hint plant tycoon 2,3,4 :-).Version: 1.4.1

✓ Love this gameI really enjoy last day of work games as they are always peaceful, relaxing and lots of fun. However I recently can across an issue that I hope gets resolved soon. The goals on the goals page do not seem to update properly even when you do the task. The most recent was to raise 10 fish to age 50. I have breed and raised 40 fish to age 167 and the task is still only registering 6/10. Perhaps it just need a bugs fixed update? Besides that keep up the great work and I hope to see more games in the future..Version: 1.9.0
✓ Very helping game.I first downloaded this game ages ago and I have been playing this ever since, it showed me how to properly care for your fish and just by this I know how to look after my fish and I go mad at breeding them to find new species 😂😂, I really recommend this and all ages because even when you’re an adult you can still be a child by playing a game and this is one of them, I love love love this game. ✓ Great game but more tanks would be niceI love this game I’ve been playing it for years, but I feel like it could do more aswell like have more tanks cause I like to keep one of every fish but not much room to breed after that or even make a casual game part where you just raise fish. ✓ All I expectedI've played since the PC game came out...though it got tiring to wait. I find this version even better. I think it's just luck when you find special fish that help with rare fish. I like the little quests and treasures. Though it would be nice to skip one once in a while. I suggest selling rare fish early on...before you get your tanks upgraded. I've forgotten to pause once and most of my fish died...it only allowed one resurrection (the other buttons would not work). I found it simple enough to fill my tanks again. After about a month, I am missing one special fish (and breed)...and I unpause while I play another game...just pop on to progress...so there really isn't enough to do continually. ✓ Fun Game, A Little Too EasyI've had a lot of fun with this game so far, and had fun with the original game before! I got lucky and discovered the golden guppy early, making me a very rich breeder. I was well on the way to discovering more of the magic fish through breeding, when I bought a set of rare eggs and hatched... two previously undiscovered magic fish. I mean, it was a little exciting, but isn't the fun of the game supposed to be breeding the fish and trying to find the magic ones? I feel like magic fish should be cut out of the list of fish to come out of eggs (barring the first one at the beginning of the game of course). I'll still continue to have fun with it, but the original was better and had more fish varieties to play with..Version: 1.10.9
✓ Deer makers of this game and others please readI know I gave it 5 stars but when I firs got it this happened...well I was waiting for it to load and when it did it said sorry please delete so I did and re download it and it worked and when I got it it kicked me out and said again it said said please delete and I did re got it then it worked for 2 minutes kicked me out and I went back in and it said thank u for re downloading and it worked perfectly and I loved it then the same thing happened to my cousin so please fix it.Version: 1.10.9

✓ UpdatesThis is a great game but progress becomes stagnant when you get moving but still haven’t found all the fish. I have done all the possible upgrades I can. I wish I could increase the length of time that employee tells customers of the sales. I wish I could get gems a bit quicker since another tank is 1K gems, and some of the required challenge items are 300gems. I’m starting to get board. Almost all the magic fish I found were from eggs, and were born. I also would like arrows when in the species menu so I can go from fish to fish without closing it so I can compare their genes. The game could be improved by having regular updates, and new content. I would love new challenges, new content. I would love to do just a bit more and make it more game like. Quests, goals, challenges, more stuff to buy. I love this game but I wish there was more once you bought everything but didn’t find all the fish yet..Version: 1.10.9
✓ I LOVE THIS GAME......but HELPI love this game! But I have had one glitch that is a bit annoying. When I buy egg (especially rare eggs) and leave to hatch on there own. I will come back later to see that the eggs never hatched and the eggs are gone. The only Proof of them being there is the fact that my money is gone from purchasing the eggs. It’s just frustrating and I really do love this game I play every single day. I don’t know if this is a thing that just happens but it’s very annoying. I even have all of the tools to keep the rare fish alive. So there should be no reason for them to be disappearing randomly. HELP!.Version: 1.10.9

✓ Just awesome!So fun and addictive! Great strategy and variance with upgrading. Only note to developers as a wish list: 1. Add more fish breeds, would love to see more variety. 2. Add more fish tanks - run out of room, and this would add a lot more excitement. 3. Add more ways to get gems 4. Have videos in place to speed up growth 5. Have a history of the cross breeding done to achieve breeds. Other than that, the game is a great download, have been playing for weeks and will continue to play. Love it!.Version: 1.10.170
