✓ The Chief and robeOk, your chief does not work at all, he directs the work. He also doesn't pick up collectables, children only can. It is NOT a glitch. The robe is in the amphitheater, the big green thing in the left, upper corner. In the front of it, there is an orange and yellow thing hanging there. Drag one of your villagers one to it. If the robe fits, this is your new chief. It works best with adult males. ( hint ) If you are running low on food, drag your chief to the food hut and they make magic food every 24 hours. ✓ Fix liftTo fix the lift you need THREE people that are at least adept builders. Put all 3 on it and they fix it. Then when it starts raining hurry up and put an adult on the lift platform. Then the bucket fills with water and you go up and knock a seed down. As soon as you see it on the ground go plant it. :).Version: 1.1.1

✓ Solution for the foodThis game is great! I love all the puzzels and just the game itself. I've noticed a lot of people have said their people r dead from starvation :/ it's easy. Beehive: there r these stick-like things right next to the beehive on the ground, put a villager on them and he/she will go to the fire to light them, & then he/she will go to the beehive. U now have honey :) Orchard: U need to have level 2 restoration and at least 3 adept builders. Place the builders on the machine in the blackish dirt right next to the food bin. They will then fix the machine, wait till it rains and put a builder to stand on the lift, wait for the lift to go all the way up and a piece of fruit will drop. Drop a villager on the piece of fruit & he/she will go and plant it. Do this 3 times for the Orchard. Fish: you need to either have lvl 2 magic/nature do the potion to get rid of the sharks (pitcher plant/berries & 2 black orchid) (I think) then the villager will get rid if the sharks and u can start to fish. ✓ FunnyMy chief is 7 years old LOL Excellent game!!! Some help... To get food at the beginning of the game, light the fire by getting the wood and dried grass. Then drag someone over to the beehive on the sticks then let them try an idea For the tree drop someone onto the seed next to the lift This one is a cheat type thing... Drag everyone onto the robe (the red and yellow thing) until you have a chief. Then drop the chief onto the food bin and he will grant food. Then paus the game by going menu options paus. Then go to the iPhone home and go on settings. Go to general time and date then set time and date. Set the day one day foward then go back to v. Villagers. Unpaus the game and get you cheif to grant food. He should do it. Then do it again and again until you have enough food! Hope this helps !!.Version: 0

I use to play Virtual Villagers as a kid and I still love it! I actually completed this game (like all the puzzles) in about 3weeks, playing maybe 20 minutes per day, longer on some days. ✓ Good fun. Could be easier to control..I like this game. I've played virtual villagers on my Palm, but this version could use some changes to be more suited to an iPhone... Dragging people can be tiring on the finger, especially as it requires pinpoint precision and often ignores your attempts to pick someone up. Also when you drag someone the viewport starts moving immediately. This is fine but means it's very slow to drop someone where you want them. I'd rather it didn't move the viewport until you dragged a little closer to the edges. Also the interface is a little cluttered and the viewport is very small, it'd benefit from laying out a little differently I think Even with these faults though, the game is fun and addictive. It's hard to make food at first, but it's supposed to be challenging, and this makes it more satisfying when your tribe finally starts bring self sufficient.Version: 0

Now, if one troublemaking kid is bothering you, drag them to the top right corner of the screen in the ocean. I've noticed that they'll be trapped there and can't move. I have also found similar spots in some other VV/VF games, like on top of one of the toxic waste barrels in VF Our Dream House. This game progresses even when you aren't playing it, which is perfect for those who are always very busy. The puzzles are very challenging, but if you get stuck, there is plenty of help online, even very detailed lists of how to accomplish each puzzle. To the person who got stuck trying to push the statue up the hill: you MUST have a chief directing the work at all times. If, for some reason, your chief stops, then the progress stops until you make your chief return. ✓ InterestingIt's a good game, I'll give you that. However, once every challenge has been solved and the statue has been built the game looses all it's appeal. Not only is it difficult to train builders after that, but everything is so easy that it becomes dreadfully boring. It's the possibility of starving and whatnot that makes this game fun, and at the end it's so boring... But otherwise quite good..Version: 1.1.0

✓ Great Strategy game, one of the best.Last Day of work has always made good games, and you could say that I have brand loyalty syndrome to them. The virtual villagers series is one of their best. ✓ Great game!This is a great game - but I have the earlier version, and I think the people are bigger in that one, and its much better that way. Doesn't crash as much as it used to, BUT DON'T USE GAME WHEN YOU HAVE VIRTUAL FAMILIES, even just both on your iphone/ipod. thats when it crashed for me, i realised. I, personally, have completely finished all the milestones in this game. Once you do that, all you do is keep up the population and keep people learning skills. They usually get their own food and stuff. I have over 8 million tech points and 80,000 food points, and frankly im sick of that. it needs a way for you to spend tech points once youve bought all the technologies levels!!! There's a clothing hut, but i couldnt be bothered changing all their clothes all the time!! Fix this please, I'm getting kinda bored!!.Version: 1.1.0

The recent "up-grade" was terrible though, as it has made the villagers very small and affected the quality of the game play.
