✓ Please help! I want to keep playing this great game!Dear Developer, I love this game, especially with the recent upgrade! Nearing the end, I upgraded 50 kicks figure past 30, but now 50 kicks stopped working as intended. Taking damage from the beginning of each stage. Been enjoying this game, nostalgic for the old Nintendo/arcade martial arts games. Easy controls, even complicated moves are intuitively completed with one finger. Would be great to have the three events be available to play more often. It would keep me continuing to play longer, after other objectives are completed. Congrats on creating a very fun game, keeps me playing when others are no longer interesting. Please fix this glitch so I can continue, thanks..Version: 1.3.0

✓ Very fun and nostalgic!I’m enjoying Beat Street a lot! I’m digging the classic Beat-Em-Up gameplay and different levels of difficulty and game modes. The sprite animations are also fluid and cute for the characters, and the story is cheery, funny, and light. Good music, too! It does take a while to adjust to the touch controls, but after a bit of practice they feel smooth, and it’s a good system. Some quibbles I have are the character portrait art - The style is not my favorite. Also, I wish there was more variety to the gameplay. It’d be fun if there were more environment pieces to interact with, and perhaps alternate paths. Also, would be cool if there were mounts you could ride at times, a la Golden Axe. I don’t mind there being an energy/gem/ad system; The developers have to make money somehow. But the biggest quibble I have is the glitches I’m experiencing when ads play - Some ads finish, and then I’m left with a blank screen, with no way to click out and receive the coins for watching them. I’d love it if this bug got fixed in future versions. That said, I’m loving Beat Street for the most part. Hope it only gets better..Version: 1.2.8
✓ Really fun game but has some bugsAs far as gameplay and nostalgia goes, I’m in love with this game and find it addicting. The problems for me are: 1) Touch screC problems; buttons aren’t aligned sometimes with the screen so that I have to flip the screen from horizontal to vertical or vice versa, fiddling with it till I can actually push the button. 2) Sometimes cannot toggle the screen between horizontal and vertical at all, unless I try a few times. 3) Often am unable to complete daily quests because the video button doesn’t actually load up an ad. If somehow these bugs could be fixed I would be so pleased with this game..Version: 1.4.1

✓ Im addicted but one thing threw me offThis game is just amazing nice story telling enemies to combat and characters to play as, even. A challenge hear and there to keep it interesting it would make the art better if some enemies had their own cutscene art for when the “versus” pops up when you get to a boss but thats not what the 4 starts is for, my problem is that u grind for gems to evolve characters and personally me im not one for in-app purchases unless i really like a game, so i spent money just to get a nice hefty sum of gems to upgrade one of my fighters with 120 left and not enough to upgrade my next and recently playing i got enough for one more character to evolve, it would be nice if the cost for evolution didnt really cost a whole arm and a leg,, it diminishes the game a lik for those not willing to pay especially considering you have to throw down gems to restart a level when you die, so my point is alternate pay source for evolution would be nice like maybe 1000 coins that wouldnt be bad,, or maybe a lower cost for gems.Version: 1.2.0

✓ So much nostalgiaI have had this game for about a week now and I am addicted to it because it bring back nostalgia and characters designs which we will get into later. Now I am going to get into the one sceptic I have about this game and it is the character designs why you may ask because is you put them into perspective they have tweaked stolen designs like they tweaked little Mac’s (from Nintendo’s punch out)design made it a woman and changed the boxing glove colour and lee is just Yun from street fighter 3rd strike and Rin is just Sagat from street fighter. ✓ Please Read Lucky Kat!It’s always nice to find a new beat em up on the AppStore, and this one’s great because it takes after double dragon and street fighter. But like many other nes inspired games on the AppStore, this one doesn’t have the greatest controls. I like the simple controls for the people who need or like them, but for me I’m more used to actual d-pads and buttons so I wish we had the option to have virtual ones here. Or at least MFi controller support. So, Lucky Kat Studios, please add the option of a virtual d-pad and buttons, I’m sure others would appreciate it too! ✓ Best Brawler I’ve played on IOSI used to love games like this back in the day, and have even tried a few for mobile. The problem with most is the virtual buttons. The tap and swipe controls of Beat Street just work for the most part, and I’ve been hooed on the game for over a month. My only real complaint is the Energy cost to keep playing. I wish the paid upgrade to remove ads also let you play as much as you want. I don’t mind grinding for the upgrades so much, if I could just keep playing. ✓ Fun gameplay, hits a wall lateThe gameplay in this is easy to get the hand of and is quite fun. For the most part it is not unlike other games in that you’ll need to spend some time grinding to get tokens for that next character which is pretty reasonable in terms of the time it takes. The main limitation for me on this game is that I have all of the previous characters unlocked from Ana and before and tokens just aren’t coming at all for the other characters I’ve not unlocked. It’s got to the point where I’m maxed out my highest leveling character and I’m reaching levels that I cannot progress past without playing previous levels on a high difficulty level way beyond my character. I feel like I’ve hit a point where unless I spend a ton of money on in-game currency I’m not going to progress any further without committing lots of time to a game that has gotten less fun due to the difficulty limitations on my character. I can’t find tokens anywhere for the not unlocked characters so i essentially hit a wall and have stopped playing for the most part. It’s unfortunate because there’s many more levels for me to beat and it doesn’t seem like I’ll be getting there without paying more than I’d like..Version: 1.3.0

Would of been 5 stars but after saving gems and collecting hats I managed to ‘evolve’ my Taz character and I was expecting a change in the sprite appearance. ✓ Very fun, but....Beat Street is very intuitive and simple while still being very fun. I do have two rather large “complaints” however. 1. There need to be more ways the player can actually defend themselves. A good offense is a good defense, but the enemies can whittle your health down from a few attack chain very easily with some enemies having armor against your attacks so they can attack. Take Joessette for example; when she swings her bad you can’t interrupt her. The same goes for her slide attack. You either have to slow down the way you play to deal with her or keep attacking her and take the hit. Sure you can adapt and just play slower, but there should at least be a block that helps against things like that. It doesn’t make sense that the enemy can block but we can’t. 2. The enemies scale too quickly. I have Val and Tas maxed out, but they aren’t strong enough to deal with the later levels. Evolving them takes way too much time and effort so I end up being stuck without a way to proceed until I can either evolve them or unlock new characters with higher level caps. Which will also take a considerable amount of time. This is a great game, but the limited resources really hold it back.Version: 1.2.6
✓ Black screen ads!!As I get deeper into the game I need lots of money, and every time I watch an add it goes black screen! 🤬 I can’t get 1 penny form the adds so if u become higher levels u will need lots of money. ✓ Side scrolling beat ‘em up, marvellous!There is a fair old bit of longevity to this game. Replay value very high. There are a few glitches such as, erratic scrolling speeds on the map, ad buttons that don’t work sometimes, Urs power up can disappear instantly with a lucky hit. The characters are charming, and the elements of the gameplay have that fun beat em up charm, controls can be a bit wonky sometimes, more so with grabbing and throwing, other times I’m just trying to run to escape, and I grab an enemy and take a hit from another. Maybe a grab button would be good as an option? Other than that, great! My one main issue isn’t really part of the gameplay, but other times an optional or even mandatory ad, after it stops playing, will just go to a white screen sometimes instead of the part where you can close it. It’s annoying after a level, cause it doesn’t save my progress, and I have to redo my level, and it’s annoying when I’m watching ads for coins. Aside from that though, solid job guys!.Version: 1.2.2

✓ A fun freemium beat-em-up ... easy 5* if not for greedOne of the most fun things about this is the variety of opponent characters. It seems a lot of anthromorphic rats, some humans, and some other critters all team up to try to stop you. The one-finger controls really work well ... you’re never bogged down looking for the right button, but meanwhile there’s some strategy as you’ll learn what techniques not to use against each kind of opponent. This game is really a lot of fun, but I can’t ignore the greed. First there’s an energy system. Then, without ‘evolving’ for lots of premium currency you’ll have to ditch your earlier characters as you go. Now comes the shark event ... the new locale and shark are awesome ... but to win Sharky you need 150 tokens within a limited time? I am sure it would be possible to win beach stages 150 times O_O , and for all I know the stages might start awarding more than one token at a time, but I am sure this is an attempt to get players to buy a ton of chests. Beat Street literally may be the most fun beat-em-up I have ever played, and has easily the coolest cast of characters, but the greed is grating on me. If I could pay $10 for this game and then never even have an IAP offered to me, without energy or the need to ‘evolve’ characters, I’d buy it the first day..Version: 1.2.1

✓ So great!The game plays so well, it’s become my go to subway game. The combat is fun and easy to pick up; but takes practice to master and really pull off some long combos. The grind is fair, and hardly noticed so far (first chapter in) The only reason I’ve given 4 instead of 5 stars is I feel the energy system completely takes away from playing. I run out of the 30 by the time I’m having the most fun and rhythm to beating enemies up. ✓ Fix these minor issues plzI really really like this lil game but I find that after I complete any level or make any selections on any of the menu buttons the touch area for the buttons seem to go all wonky afterwards. Almost like they’ve shifted down somewhat. My workaround is to turn the phone landscape to be able to press any button I can’t in portrait and then have to go back to portrait again because the same issue happens when you select a menu in landscape as well. I’m playing on an iPhone 11pro max if that helps. Keep the game alive with an update to fix this plz. If you can do it sooner than later that be great. ✓ Pure GeniusI can play this without getting tired.. ha a real new school arcade style including additional characters throughout the game. Something I really look forward to experiencing. The fun fact about “Beat Streets” you can play Co-op mode with friends that’s a cool way to join other players. This game sort of reminds me of “Streets Of Rage” for some reason but I’ll save that for another chapter... anyway big shout out to the team who created this magnificent piece of gaming this is groundbreaking indeed... keep up the great work I’ll be sure to be expecting useful updates & also daily chest gifts too. ✓ I love this gameThis game is really good. There are a couple of things I wish they could implement though. For one, I wish there was the ability to use diamonds to refill your energy. There’s been plenty of times I’ve wanted to continue playing and couldn’t. And on that note, I would like them to patch the game to reduce battery usage on the iPhone. ✓ Co-op ProblemsGame is fantastic but when I play co-op, the same problem that has occurred multiple times. The problem is sometimes an enemy may glitch out and look as if they are teleporting around the map, then they will disappear. This means the enemy can't be defeated and therefore the level does not continue, and you get stuck. This is highly annoying as it makes co-op unplayable. Also there is still lag mid game as well as in the character menu and the level select menu. Please address these issues ASAP.Version: 1.1.8

It brings back old childhood memories playing nes or snes brawlers, while adding some of the new components we see in today’s mobile games. I haven’t dabbled much playing co-op because I’m still at a level I can get 3 stars on stages playing solo (also I tried to get my wife to get into but she’s in too deep in clash royale) I’ve spent about 15 bucks in the game, since I have been playing for a few days now and It was worth it to do some evolving of my characters as well as helping the developer. It was not required to have fun in the game, and probably could have kept playing without spending any cash. One thing that would be nice to see, would be that once you spend a certain amount of money in the game, I no longer have to watch ads, and I just get all the coins I would normally get for watching ads (not a big deal though, I just put my phone down for 30 seconds) Looks like the devs have been active pushing updates, so I’m looking forward to see what additional polishing is done to keep this game growing👍🏻.Version: 1.1.9

✓ This is a very good gameIf you loved river city ransom, you’ll love this game. Fantastic beat em up. I’ve finished all 90 levels, and I hope they make more. If you get to level 90, you probably had to pay a little money, which I’m ok with since these guys put a lot of time and effort into this game. The reason I didn’t give it the 5th star is because, after weeks of grinding to get to level 90, spending some money here and there, I discovered that it takes gems to level a character up. Oh yeh up date could ask if your sure u want to spend gems to continue cause when your in a frantic game u sometimes press the continue by mistake n spend gems. ✓ [AU Player] Highly Recommended, great game!Easy one-hand controls, online co-op, different characters with different skills and an evolvable through equipment system for each unique character and they're adding more frequently! I've bought the 12,000 Gem Pack and I have to say they were well worth it in terms of character progression, being a free game with micro transactions it sure handles the way they include Ads, you are presented with the option of watching a very short Advertisement in return doubling the gold that you had earned from the map (So Ads are totally optional for benefit). In conclusion, I highly recommend this game if you're like me and spend hours scouring the app store for just the right game that doesn't have too long of engagements, has a pick up and go play style even playable with just one hand (thumb swipes, hold and drag movement and hold and release super moves this game is awesome for everyone who has ever played a beat 'em up game and wanted an online version (better than the popular PC beat 'em up MMO Dungeon Fighter Online because it's more mobile 😛). ✓ Oh my oh my:)This game is soooo awesome! So I was fighting trough lvls like a boss on easy. After I think third lvl the message popped up saying I can play coop!! That just stole my heart and even now my phone is hot I’m still playing. Also I found a glitch and took a picture. Can I mail it to you somehow? Again this game is absolutely awesome. More characters and more moves. The retro style brings me back to Nintendo era like Double Dragon title this is addicting!.Version: 1.1.8
