✓ Why is there suddenly a subscription?I purchased this app before, it was working with basic functionality and I got used to it just fine. After last update there’s a subscription?? And if you don’t purchase the subscription there’s watermark? So you want me to pay twice? What is this seriously? I am gonna request refund from Apple..Version: 1.6.2

✓ App may be a virus?I downloaded this app on my iPad to turn some photos into portraits, and right off the bat I gave it all permissions and nothing worked. It wouldn’t even load a photo so I couldn’t even edit anything. The app crashed multiple times, so I tried downloading it on my phone and trying again on there. It did not work on my phone either. After giving up on it, both devices began acting strangely. Certain apps would get stuck on their opening screens or not work properly. I closed the app and tried again, but that didn’t work. I restarted my phone, but that didn’t work. I deleted the Phocus app and everything went back to normal. I thought it might have been some strange thing on my phone, but the same thing just happened on my iPad as well, except this time it eventually led to the device crashing. I deleted the Phocus app and so far everything seems back to normal. I’m using an iPhone 12 and the iPad Air (4th gen) both updated to the latest iOS version..Version: 2.2.4
✓ What happened?I loved this app, the blur effect for background used to be really smooth. Now all of the sudden with the update the blur is very heavy and when I slide the blur amount down it doesn’t change much at all and at the lowest numbers the blur is pixelated! I hope it can be fixed or go back to what it was otherwise I’ll have to find something else to use. Bummer because this app is great at background detection..Version: 1.4.3

That’s their prerogative - However when I already paid money for the app I should not have to shell out new money for features I already shelled out money for. If anything, the developer should recognize customers who were early loyalists and perhaps allow them to be grandfathered into any new monetized requirements. At the very least, they shouldn’t have to pay for features they already paid for. ✓ Great features but...This app is great, especially for people who have the iPhone Xr and don’t have Stage Lighting on their back camera. The biggest drawback to this program is that there is no option to purchase the app outright. I don’t want to pay for a subscription. I want to buy the app and be done. ✓ Save the $4The bokeh works, but is inaccurate the majority of the time, specifically on hair and clothes near the neckline. Also, this is not a real-time camera app for the $4 fee. There’s an additional in-app subscription model for using this bokeh in real-time. Quite disappointing and expensive. Lastly, the photos appear to save in low resolution.
