You just need to take a picture of the document or cover letter and use in the app via photos. The prices are very reasonable. I actually went into Dropbox and then shared/exported to this Fax app. The app has a draft section so you can prepare and check everything before sending and then it has a history of faxes sent. ✓ Fax from your mobile, pay as you goEvery once in a blue moon I need to fax something either for my doctor’s office, or my benefits provider, etc. No landline (who does?) As long companies still use traditional fax services this i awesome for consumers that just need a fax capability every once in a while and don’t want to pay monthly fees. Great idea would be implementing this pay as you service also for receiving faxes with a virtual number which is assigned to the user ID. ✓ Just tried thisSo I had the need to fax something and was going to run up to the corner fedex kinkos when it occurred to me to look for an app. I was hoping for a free one but unless you’re using someone else’s equipment it’s going to cost you. This one is $5.99 for unlimited faxes for 1 week with auto renewal. The process seemed easy and it says my fax was sent. I’ll call the clerk of courts in a couple of hours to make sure. I also found it easy to cancel my subscription and the how to is in the faq. So far I’m satisfied. 3* for now until I confirm my fax was received. Edited to add that the recipient received the fax. I needed to send a very important fax from Australia to the USA. It was a large fax, 39 pages, uploaded as a scanned document from my “files” in my iPhone. Everything uploaded swiftly & easily. It took 2.5hrs to send but you can leave the app running in the background on your iPhone, as it’s doing its thing. From memory it attempts to send up to 3 times & my fax took two attempts. I purchased the $6.99 single week subscription as I only needed to send one fax. I will cancel that subscription, so I’m not charged again. It would’ve cost me more to send a fax from here if I’d gone to a business that has a faxing facility. I think it was $1 per page (if I hadn’t used the app) so a huge discount! In the old days, if a customer or my company needed to have paperwork sent to them, it would need to wait until I could get to a place that had a fax machine.
