✓ It works!So at first I thought this extension was broken, because when you open the app anc click “Enable Extension” the extension doesnt appear right away in safari. To get it to appear you have to COMPLETELY CLOSE OUT OF SAFARI. (double click on safari and hit “quit”). Then open the turn off the lights app and hit “Enable Extension” and safari will re open and Ta-Da! the extension has appeared ready to go! super simple.Version: 1.0

Pro tip: enable "Make the page go dark or light by long-pressing the current web page" so you can long click and switch modes magically. ✓ Pretty GoodI don't know why everyone else seems to rate it very low, but it seems to mostly work as advertised. I'm just looking for a free dark mode extension, and, with a little fiddling, this does everything I'm looking for. I don't use the video player feature though, and sometimes it's a little clunky. No, I’m in no way associated with anyone or anything regarding the app. I’m in no way being compensated for this review (or any review for that matter). I’m sure it works fine over time and if it doesn’t, I’ll be sure to edit. Why do I feel confident in this? Because the dev has thoroughly answered all the 1&2 star “complaints”. I’m in an industry highly dependent on reviews, as well. It’s rare that I receive anything less than a 5, but it happens. When I looked a week ago, I had just passed the 13,000 mark. I’ve noticed one correlation that I feel qualified to relate here: dumb people give the worst ratings. They don’t understand something, it makes them angry and they need to assign blame because they also don’t understand they’re brain is the problem. It results in unfair reviews that can greatly affect the lives of those who have put in countless hours of work. Usually, the person leaving a bad review DIDN’T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. ✓ Great dark modeGreat extension for dark mode. I like the customizations you can do with the texts however there’s two annoyances that I have with this. The first one is the dark mode switch that’s on the lower left hand corner. It’s too big and there’s no option to get rid of it. This needs to be more of an option in the address bar if you want to switch on and off. The second is that when going in a website when you have the settings in automatic dark mode the page is white for a brief second then goes into dark mode. If there’s a way to get it dark just before the page loads that would be great..Version: 4.3.1

✓ Night Mode for free? Yes, Please.This application has extensive features for safari that I have yet to explore. What I can say is that the night mode works perfectly and I imagine just as well as the multiple other paid for dark mode safari extension apps… and it’s free. My only suggestion is that with the many features and customizable settings included in this app, it might be beneficial to place the actual dark mode settings more front and center in “Manage Options” page. ✓ Best dark mode Safari extensionThis is a top-tier dark mode / night mode Safari extension for iOS 15+. It’s also free, and doesn’t look to have any privacy issues. I’d recommend changing the background color to pure black, and set it to automatically apply to all webpages. It works great. For the developer, it may be worth considering having the app open directly to night mode settings. I think that will be a lot more popular in this mobile app than it may be on desktop. After my experience with this, I’ll definitely be looking into the extension for Microsoft Edge on my PC..Version: 4.3.0
