Turn Off the Lights for Safari Pros

Works like a charm!I had an issue where Google (in Safari) kept ignoring my preferences for dark mode. After downloading this and having it be in charge, I have had no problems. This app works great and solved an annoyance that I’ve been dealing with for months. Also, as a note, please read all their instructions and watch the videos that pertain to you. Most of the bad reviews likely would have been solved by just paying attention..E_Johns0nVersion: 4.4

Extension does what it saysI truly do not understand all of the negative reviews. This extension does exactly what it says, it dims the entire screen around the video you are watching, giving you a greater experience on what you are watching. This Safari extension works very well. Great job to the developers..FlyingPoliceBoxVersion: 4.3.2

Turn Off the Lights for Safari Cons

Okay at best, cludgy and annoying at worstRidiculous methodology to get to options. Why aren’t they directly available in the app and/or safari directly? -2 Stars Pfft, I have to leave safari, open the app, hit options, go BACK to safari and try 20 times to get the http formatted correctly to get the effect I want. +1 for the level of customizability, but the confounded methods of getting to all the settings takes it back off again. If “Dark Night” had better customized options other than “on” or “off” I’d use it exclusively over this app. Far better usability. And don’t get me started on annoying me to review the app. That alone knocks stars off. Any app that bugs me every time i open it or interact with it gets multiple stars taken off when I eventually do get around to rating and reviewing the application.ThePurpleWeaselVersion: 4.4

UselessI wanted to use to get dark mode on certain websites and it’s totally useless it does work but it’s not worth downloading it.Maxthebeast0590Version: 4.3.2
