Health CSV Importer for Negative User Reviews

GarbageDoesn’t import the data it says it will. Developers are non-responsive. Don’t lose your money for nothing!.Version: 1.2.5

Basic feature is ok, poor usabilityIt does what it described. However, it only supports limited formats of time stamp (without document, I have to guess what formats are supported). It does not filter out invalid data points (e.g. weight 0). It does not support importing data for periods or sex..Version: 1.2.10

You call this an importI paid two dollars to import whatever was on Wellness onto this app that Wellness prompted me to, and I get six boxes once it’s stated it was downloaded and I can’t open any of the boxes and then I tried to import to CVS the information and I get absolutely nothing and then I try to write for help and I send my letter or so I think, and the screen goes blank after that how do you call that help?.Version: 1.2.11

No option for sleepI paid for this app to import sleep data from pillow and there isn’t even an option for sleep!! Minimal options for imported data, I wish I hadn’t bought it.Version: 1.2.10

Does not workThis app does not work. Do not purchase.Version: 1.2.10

Still doesn’t workI saw the review where it didn’t work and thought it’s been a couple year, surely it works now. It doesn’t.Version: 1.2.10

Does this even work?Exported all my health data from google as csv files, tried to import them and instead I'm told there isn't any valid date data.... file name is the data, and times are contained with in. Luckily it was only 1.99 but still.....Version: 1.2.11

Very nearly excellentBut not. Myfitnesspal threw away all the data in my Health app, and this seemed an ideal way to put it back. For most of the fields, it imported most (but not all) of the records. But for the most important field - dietary energy - it didn't import any. 1) I emailed to ask if their app could do this. They didn't reply, so I chanced it. 2) I emailed support and detailed the problems I was having. They didn't reply. 3) I emailed via the sales enquiry fotn in their web site. They didn't reply. Very disappointed..Version: 1.1.7

Very limited and difficult to use but here’s an tutorialI couldn’t get it to work for a while and I almost gave up trying but I managed to find out how it works and I’m writing this review to tell you how you can do it too. Because it does work, it’s just not straight forward and quite limited. What you need to do is use the app “Health App Data Export Tool” by Create Health CSV PDF reports on the device that has the health data on it. This is important because this app exports your data in a format that lets you input it in this app. Open the app, select “daily”, then select your dates. I would check my health app before to see what dates you need to select as a start date (the date when your data begins). Then click “select all” or select exactly what activities you want to export. You can select all in case you’re not sure. Click export and wait. Save the file to your phone or airdrop/email it directly to your new device or laptop. For the next step you need apple numbers, excel, or sth similar. I used numbers on my laptop. Open the csv file you exported in numbers and go through the data. If there are any columns that don’t have any data in it delete it. This is important as too many columns conflict with csv import. Export is as a csv file (click on share in the top right, then export and send). Select csv. Make sure the table names are not included. This would mess up csv import. Send the file to your destination phone and save it in its files. Open csv import. Click import. Select your csv file. Select start date. Skip end date. Check all the columns. Make sure to select skip on ones that don’t show the right activities. The data for those just isn’t supported. Make sure every column has your desired unit. It has to be the same unit as it was on your old device. Sadly for step counts the time of the steps in a day isn’t supported so all your steps will show up starting from midnight. I don’t think there is a way to fix this with this app. Select import and then grant cvs import access to write data to your health app. Click allow and wait. Open your health app to check if it worked..Version: 1.2.11

Not goodNot good Please cancel.Version: 1.2.10

Doesn’t support importing sleepNot a listed quantity type, so Can’t import sleep..Version: 1.2.2

It should keep track of last imported date for a specific record to Avoid duplicates. Not elegant but it gets the job done with a lot of work on my side still. It copies duplicates with aggregated files. Should just deduplicate by keeping a record of the last date and time reading for the specific health record being imported. The ui isn’t clear and at least on my phone it doesn’t work sometimes. I have to close and reopen to get it to respond to taps..Version: 1.2.11

Supports limited data columnsMany Apple Health data types / attributes are not supported in the column mapping (e.g, Mindfulness)..Version: 1.2.11

Doesn’t support the main information I need to importWhen it said in the description that it “supports all Apple Health quantity data types” I expected that to include dietary energy but that’s not the case. There is, however, a field for energy consumed which I presume is the field that is supposed to fill in the calories field, but unfortunately that is not the case. False advertising, otherwise the app imported the rest of my information smoothly..Version: 1.1.8

No information on the format of CSVOnly stupid YouTube video made by a 5 year old.Version: 1.1.4

Doesn’t import what I needI wanted to import headache data into Apple Health, unfortunately this app doesn’t support that..Version: 1.2.11

Worthless for my purposesI was hoping to import vaccination, medications, or lab results. App is unable to do any of this..Version: 1.2.11

No documentationThe date field has to be dd-mmm-yyyy HH:MM.Version: 1.1.4

Quirky, at bestI use Google Drive to upload an exercise file for import into Apple Health. I’m guessing it takes between 12-15 “attempts” - opening app and trying to import before this program can find the file in Google. Very frustrating. Do NOT recommend. Lance Carroll.Version: 1.2.4

Horrible experienceIt imports the dates in the wrong format. Date format is dd/M/yyyy in the CSV file and it’s imported as mm/dd/yyyy….and there’s no way to change it. Tried to reach out to support without success..Version: 1.2.11

Do not use this app!It will mess up your Health data. It imports Flights into Steps and Steps into Flights, the temperature format imported is wrong so you end up with values like negative or 2.5 degree which is obviously not possible. Plus it imports days with empty values as 0 in some cases like blood pressure so it nesses up the overall stats. In summary the app is not only useless but it will screw up your existing data if you have any..Version: 1.2.11

Just crashesTrying to import BP readings from an app I’ve been using for years to manually track it. The app sees the columns and matches the proper ones. Hit import and the app just crashes. Waste of money..Version: 1.3.3

FailCrashes in 12.1.Version: 1.2.2

UI bugs and limited functionalityThe app has a lot of UI bugs. The menu items don't display properly and you can easily get stuck on a view. It is also very limited. You can't do any data pre-processing and it doesn't allow you to import an exercise type. The app turned out to be mostly useless for me. The only thing I was able to import were my weight measurements..Version: 1.2.11

CrapDoesn’t work at all.Version: 1.2.11

Crashes on importUsed to work. Now app crashes immediately after pressing Start import..Version: 1.2.10

Save yourselfThis thing will import some data but mostly will piss you off because it crashes so much. I got about 1/20th of my data spending a hour on this and finally decided to just give up..Version: 1.1.4

Awful interface. ‘Guidance’ is equally badDoesn’t work. Why, does Apple not have an easy, integral solution for their own app!.Version: 1.1.3

Poor qualityApp crashes every time importing a csv file. No way around. Money wasted..Version: 1.1.4

Absolute waste of moneySince NONE of my medical professionals use this format, it is ABSOLUTELY USELESS..Version: 1.2.11

Does not workThe app gets stuck at “preparing data” while attempting to import blood glucose numbers in a csv file from a CGM..Version: 1.2.11
